Do not use! We asked how much to close our pool. We told them we needed a cover which they quoted at $80 and the water tubes we needed 10 at $8.99 each. The total estimate written in the contract was $410. After they closed the pool they left us a Bill for $652.When I contacted them they said just to close the pool was $410 plus the cover and water tubes. The contract has the box checked needing a cover and water tubes and the total estimated cost including those items as written on the contract and told to us by them several times $410. They were unwilling to work with us or compromise.Do not use. They will tell you 1 thing and charge you another!

Terrible place. Stay away. They may do adequate work but they’re very dishonest. Called to have an above ground pool liner replaced. I was told it’s very hard to find pool liners right now. I said I’ll get the liner. Then she came back to the phone and said “ well we can get the liner but our installers are backed up till August “. I had my wife call another day. She spoke to a different sales person and got the same response. When you tell them you want to supply the liner they give you the run around and say the liners I may get could be from China and wrinkles may come up and we would blame them. I found out the reason for all of this is they overprice they liner cost. I was quoted 600 for the liner itself. I found the same one retail for 285.00.

Overpriced. I wouldnt do business with them again.

They got everything you need

Horrible service. When making a pool opening or closing appointment be sure to get them in and out as quickly as possible. The owner came to my pool opening and talked for over 2 hours, used my own chemicals, and did not complete the pool opening. We then received a bill for an HOURLY rate (which he was in control of how much time he spent) in addition to charging us for the full opening.When asking for revised bills, I receive no response.I would NEVER recommend Apollo Pools to anyone. It would not surprise me if they went out of business.

Very friendly and they are always there to help you.

They are my go to for my pool water. They sample it with a computerized system. They are pretty fair with the explanation of the results of the water sample. Yes they want to make a sale off your free water test, but other places are for more aggressive when they explain what is needed for your pool. If you take pride in your pool this is your go to pool store.

The wall of our 48 above-ground pool rusted through and split in the middle of the night. Our 4-year-old grandson was heartbroken. A little over 3 weeks later, we have a beautiful new pool. His summer fun has been saved. Our experience with Apollo Pools has been wonderful! Very professional and friendly! Great communicators! Would recommend them to anyone. They are now our pool people.

We have our pool on their books to make sure we keep the same system and chemicals as the year before. The water testing is nice, but I seem to always have to spend $75+ every 2 weeks when I test my water to buy outrageous amounts of chemicals. The people there can order anything and know a ton about all the systems you could have!

Used their services when I renovated my house and they did a great job! My pool has never looked better. I cant believe how good it looks. I should have called them sooner. Everyone was so nice. I will recommend Apollo Pools to all my friends.

The entire staff is friendly and courteous. Moreover, they are experts in their field.They are knowledgeable about the latest trends in water care and pool equipment.

Good spot to purchase anything for your spa or pool. I actually purchased a hot tub from their store in 2006 and it is running as well now as it did when I bought it.

They were really friendly and quick to provide service on a busy day. They provided great explaination of different pools and equipment. They helped me understand the necessary steps to proceed forward. I look forward to doing business with them. We are moving forward with them and I will update my review based on the installation process and workmanship after the job is complete.Update: Pool installed, next day noticed pointy object on bottom of pool about to puncture liner. Called them that day and warned them it could puncture any moment. They said they will take a look in three weeks.Two weeks later: It is punctured. I will keep you posted on resolution.UPDATE: They patched the hole for this season and will be replacing the liner in the upcoming Spring (2020). I will keep you posted.UPDATE:. A second stone is pushing up. At my request, they gave me a patch and glue for me to patch until Spring.UPDATE 6/2020:. Called them several times over past 4 months requesting appointment for liner replacement, every time they said we are top priority but must wait for warm weather. Well here we are hot weather! Not a peep from them...down rating them to a two a star, keep you posted.UPDATE: 7/24/2020: They finally called to schedule replacement first week of August. Pool is in high use so rather than down time and cold water again, we opted for a store gift card and a patch kit. Reasoning also included following considerations...dont want cold water at peak season, patches are on bottom of pool so they seem to hold very well with weight of water, dont want to dismantle the pool and reassemble (screws go into plastic), afraid it may not be as sturdy second assembly, pool wall may move a little so 42x18 deck around the pool may not butt up to pool as nicely.Summary: A good company willing to stand by their installation. The owners and employees will get to know you on a first name basis.Update: Purchased a heater thru Leslies pool and it has been 4 months and they still dont have their sh1t together to get this installed. I wish Apollo could have provided a heater for my situation. Family run Apollo so much nicer to deal with...bumping to 5 stars now that I experienced another company.

Very bad service when you need a repairman. Called for service and they said they had to order part. Waited OVER a month, no part! Called and they forgot to order it. I could have had the part in 1 week. I called manufact. They had it in stock.Have a problm with tub. Going on a MONTH AGAIN. NOT bothered to return phone call. No date for repair. NOTHING.Guess they dont need customers. I wont bother buying again. They can keep their products. Id put ZERO star if I could.

Apollo has amazing service and is always so helpful when we arent sure what to put in our pool. Weve been working with them since we bought our house/ pool and they havent let us down! we wouldnt go anywhere else, anything you need they are right there with the best assistance!!

I was about to buy a whole new pump being handy I removed it myself and saw it was leaking went in to buy a new pump which I was ready to drop $500 on a new pump. When the looked into it they saw the seal was leaking and they told me you dont need a new pump just a $17 seal. They could have sold me that pump but no they did the right thing. Theyve earned a life long customer.

Do not use this company!!! They totally ripped me off! I used them to repair my hot tub and they charged me way too much for a simple part that I was able to find online for half of what they charged. I found their technicians to be rude and disrespectful. Stay Away from this company!I will never do business with this company again. I believe you will find a better service elsewhere.

I contacted Apollo Pools & Spas in mid November 2015 concerning a leak in a connecting valve of my hot tub.I purchased this hot tub 3 years ago off craigs list, it has worked flawlessly.An appointment was set for December 1, 2015 between 12pm and 2pm.At 1140 am I received a call from the service tech informing me that he was done, I was in the car on the way to my home. He informed me that the heater was tripping the breaker and needed to be replaced. I was confused since this call was for a leak. He informed me that they would get back to me with a estimate.Two days later they contacted me with a quote of $ 595.95.I contacted a local hot tub repair man. Once he removed the electrical panel he asked me who cut the wires to my heater.I drove to Apollo Pools & Spas. I spoke with the service man who informed me he cut the wires for safety reasons. I informed him that the breaker box was 6 feet from the hot tub and was clearly off, and he could have pulled the wires out of the panel. He continued to insist he cut the wires for safety reasons.I contacted Apollo Pools & Spas for a leak nothing more.

I have been a shopping at Apollo for over at least 20 years....very happy with the service they have given us with our pool and hot tub....refer lots of people there.

The service people who closed the pool were fantastic, dont have any complaints about that service offered by Apollo. However, we have stopped going to the store location for supplies and will not use them for any service anymore. When we had a leak in our pool and couldnt find it we sought help from Apollo. The woman who spoke with my husband about it was incredibly rude and told him to just use dye and look for it ourselves. When my husband told him we already tried this, she said in a very annoyed and condescending manner that he should try again because thats all my guys are going to do if they come out to look for it.This woman was actually the manager -possibly owner, believe it or not. The initial employee who was helping him was polite. She brought him to the manager to get things set up for a visit.We also were looking to replace our cover. The same woman said in her usual condescending way that we had to bring in our cover to the store. The cover was an old Canvas safety cover that was so heavy and so thick that even folding it up, it wouldnt fit in our car. It weighed so much the two of us couldnt move it without another person to help us. We tried to explain the situation to this woman but she said the only way we could get a new cover was to bring the old one in as template. We just gave up on it for awhile, not knowing what to do.We went to another local pool service company (Aquamatic) for help with the leak. They came out with some sonic equipment that located the leak within minutes. They repaired the leak for a affordable price. I will review Aquamatic for this too.Because of their great customer service, we decided to ask them about a new cover. They gave us an estimate and told us they would come out and pick up the cover from us and use it as a template. Wow. What a difference.Most of the people at the store location are great so I gave it two stars because of them. However, if you are unfortunate and have to deal with this middle aged blonde manager/owner, you will not have a pleasant experience. Id love to zero star her!

It was 3 days before Memorial Day, the temps were in the 90s and we had a picnic planned, including 3 grandkids who were anxious to play in the pool, and our pump decided to call it quits.We called Apollo to have a new pump and filter installed, and you were so responsive with the installation and we couldnt be more pleased. Your service team arrived at our home while both of us were at work, made the installation, and everything was neat and cleaned up like no one had ever been there!Two years ago, we purchased a Polaris 9300 pool sweeper, and when it gave us trouble, Apollo took it back, diagnosed the problem, repaired it and even delivered it to our home and it has been working great!Thanks Apollo for the personal attention to your customers! It makes doing business with a locallly owned and operated business a pleasure!

These people are a nightmare. They are baffled by the simplest questions and have not bothered to read the literature supplied by the manufacturers of the products. Worse, they are always ready to blame the customer for any problems that arise.

Ken and I bought a Hot Springs Hot Tub late last summer from Apollo. It is a bit of a distance for us to travel, but it was their customer service interest that attracted us to them when we purchased. We have dealt with Veronica since the beginning. They are knowledgaeble, helpful, available, etc. I read a few previous comments that were negative, and just felt I had to write one ourselves. If you want to shop around, you might get a tub a few hundred dollars cheaper at the outset -DONT DO IT!! Hot Tubs need service and tweeking along the way -- the EXPERTISE at APOLLO is unmatched! They are friendly, kind, efficient, and DO NOT try to sell you things you do not need, etc. We LOVE our hot tub, and we HEARTILY recommend you buying and servicing through them!

Nice family-owned business

I had purchased a Namco Pools about 10 years ago. I had a landscaper accident and he took out my pool and love my pool time to much not to get another one. I have been purchasing my products from Apollo for about 4 years now and enjoy the service I had received from their Staff, Especially Amy and Sherry! I went to them to purchase my replacement pool and they were VERY helpful with all the paperwork my Insurance Company required for the claim. They delivered my pool in October and I asked them to contact me in April to have my pool installed in the beginning of May. I received a call in April and my pool was installed on May 2nd. Justin and his team from Top Knotch Construction did the work. They tore down my old pool and installed my new pool in less than 4 hours. I am VERY pleased with the design, and the difference in quality of their pool vs a Namco pool. If you ever wondered why Apollo Pools MIGHT be a little more than Namco... I will tell you after seeing what my old pool looked like after they took the liner out... compared to the design and durability of the new pool side... The few bucks are worth it!!!!I highly recommend Apollo Pools to anyone. I have never had a bad experience there!Thank you Apollo Pools!

Here is a company that said they will not support a product that they represent because I did not butit from them (Hayward). Hayward would not comment but the support person said they did not support there products well.
