Every time I go here to buy a couple of things, I end up spending >$30! Lots of stuff here - some items are really good buys (great prices) and yet theres other stuff that costs too much IMO.

This place has a lot of generic no brand stuff, some cheapo and some is okay. Aisles are a little cramped though. Still good to find odds and ends.

Dollar deal is a ubiquitous discount srore, popping up in urban areasThese shopps appear where money is tight. The srore is bright, well tended and clean.The staff are constantly refilling the shelves with a range of inexpensive wears that harks back to the 5&10 cent storesOf the bygone era.The omnipresent staff seem to be of a multi-national nature.This means nothing, the welcome all, are impressively helpful and courteous.(As a thirty year veteran of customer service, I (occasionaly) feel inadequate in my job .There was a heart warming moment when I was there today.I was waiting in line. At the other check out window, an older lady was trying to explain that she was looking to find a grocery cart liner.One of the stockers who overheard her said, Ill get that, it JUST came in.By this time, the checker was swiftly bagging my goods, the show continued,he returned with the item and happily handed it over. The lady fumbled the kevlar package open, and desperately tried to install it.The pestulent thing fought back.. Before I could grab my pocket tools, the young man returned and installed it for her.(Nice to see that chivalry is alive and well in small city america.)Brutaly, the store stock is inexpensive China fodder.Underclothes, mass produced housewears and tools for the home DIY wanna be.Store hours 7AM to 9PM.- . DO NOT BRING HOARDERS!!!- Public mental health warning.

They always think your going to steal.

After moving from NYC to Reading, to have access to things at a short distance seems nearly impossible. When I walk in the store it reminds me of a nyc business. You can find practically anything in here. Things from home decor, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, party decor, tools, bedding and bath, storage etc. I agree that things do not cost 99ct but they have to make their money somehow right? The store is kept clean and very organized. Not like family dollar 3 blocks away. Love this store. 5 stars.

They have always everything I need. If I cant find something they show me where it is. Also only a couple of blocks from my home.

Walked in then out as they were yelling at me to check a bag, but I had never been here before and did not know and had my Beats on couldnt hear them. They were very rude about it.

Friendly clean helpful prices based where you shop some items you know are .99 at dollar tree and dollar zone but there are also many items there way cheaper then family dollar dollar General and CVS Kmart etc. With great quality.

Good place when you need something quick,,store is not kept to clean,and always a line,plus they never have bags so they use them big brown paper bags,huge bag sometimes for 1 or 2 items,some of the stuff is highly priced for a Dollar General Store.

Well the cashier rang an item twice and when I showed them the receipt they wouldnt refund my money until they reviewed the surveillance cameras..UPC number was exactly the same...They overcharged me and wouldnt fix it...
