Bummer, this location is closing for good. Ive given them a lot of business over the years and I will miss them. Things are really tough right now.

On Oct 11, i dropped of to the 5th st Reading PA Office Max, 3 different USPS packages postage pre-paid through eBay. I am a seller on ebay . I am aware that the store is in the process of closing. When I saw this, I enquired with the 2 employees behind the shipping/print counter to be certain that the store closing would not affect the mail service. I was told no.Upon my arrival, there was also a fedex employee picking up FedEx shipments. The 2 office max employees assured me that everything would be fine, and took my packages. I already had the tracking # because I prepaid the postage through eBay, so I felt everything would be fine.It wasnt until Friday end of day that I got a message from the buyer for one of the eBay items that I dropped at the reading pa store. They were very unhappy that they havent received the package and the tracking number I provided them had no updates. They opened a claim asking for their money back. $160.When I call the reading store to find out what the problem is, I am surprised to hear that all 3 of my packages are still there! They offer absolutely NO RESOLUTION other than well I guess they arent picking up packages anymore I guess your best bet is to come and pick up here, and send it yourself its not easy to get in touch with someone at the post office, it would be quicker if you come get them and drop off at the post office yourself.When I went to retrieve my packages Monday (post office is closed on weekend) they were in the same exact spot that the 2 employees originally set them. Never touched. The 2 were fairly large packages, not easy to be overlooked.In this time, becaus I had no evidence of what had transpired, how the merchandise that my customers purchased was just sitting there at one of YOUR STORES. I was given a negative review and eBay refunded the customer and the case closed. Currently Out $160 and reputation tarnished due to negligence by your employees. Oh and did I mention that I sent the item to the customer??? So now my reputation and wallet are damaged and this customer gets free merch and probably will never purchase another item from me again.... So now u have also cost me future business.I look forward to hearing how we can come to some sort of resolution, this is absolutely unexcusable and how this has been handled is nothing short of frustrating

My wife put in an order online, paid for it at the advertised online sale price, then when she went to pick it up in the store the associate said there had been a pricing mistake, and returned the transaction. She drove an hour-long round trip, and they made no attempt to reach out to us to say there had been a mistake, no indication until she showed up to collect the package. Had the feel of a bait-and-switch to get us in the store, waste of time and highly inconsiderate.

IF YOU ORDER SOMETHING IN HERE AND YOUR ORDER WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE IT HAS NOT BEEN PICKED UP, FOLLOW YOUR MONEY. THEY DO NOT REFUND. THEY SIMPLY SEIZE YOUR MONEY. AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY CLEAR EXPLANATION. WE BOUGHT BATTERIES ON AUGUST 29TH, BUT COULDNT PICK UP. THEN THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER. WE THOUGHT THEY HAVE REFUNDED US, BUT THEY DIDNT. WE HAVE REALIZED THAT ON OCTOBER 2ND. THEN I HAVE CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEN THEY REFUNDED. IF I DIDNT REALIZE THAT THEY DIDNT REFUND, THEY WOULD NEVER REFUND OUR MONEY. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ORDER SOMETHING ONLINE FROM HERE.

Very grateful for their print manager, Ben! He was great to work with - genuinely cared about seeing that the print job I needed done for a client was done right and that we were 100% satisfied. His professionalism and dedication is why I gave this location a second chance after having a print job gone wrong here.

I’ve always liked this store, because of my job I need a lot of printing done, but Ben doesn’t disappoint. He goes above and beyond which makes my job easier. Give him a raise! 😩 He’s great!

If only NO stars were an option. I’m on a time crunch and headed to Europe later this afternoon. I sent ONE page to be printed at this location and I was told they were to busy to do so when I arrived. I came back an hour later. I explained the situation and I was told that the order in front of me was a priority not mine. I HIGHLY suggest if you are understaffed bringing in additional resources. Poor customer service at its best. I would NOT recommend this location. You need to train your workers on multitasking.

Grace the Manager is fantastic. I had a problem with an online order and she took care of it. Plain and simple she took care of the customer and dealt with the online problems quickly.

Business cards need to be done online to get them the way you want them. Staff, however was superb. A positive experience in customer service.

Friendly staff and exceptional customer service! I am a novice with all things technology but the staff helped me print a document from my phone without making me feel like an idiot. I am empowered!!!!! Great experience!

Online pricing does not match in store pricing, help was difficult to find/gain attention and were then rude and condescending.

Its just an average place to buy office supplies and other types of things like that.

I got a new tablet for the wife there Samsung 7 cuz her old ones broke and Ill tell you what the prices here are just as good as they are at Sams Club and I dont need to spend a yearly membership fee they were literally the same for penny two penny the employees were helpful kind and courteous they answered all my questions I didnt have to wait that long for service either the store was nice and clean everything was in its place you were able to find what you were looking for overall it was a nice experience I would go there again

I bought a laptop about 5 months ago. Now, the hard drive had this error: hard Disk failure imminent. Needless to say, the computer is shot. I call the store and Gina (store manager) says that it is Hp problem and anything bought after 30-days inst really their problem anymore. I only use the computer for work and never even downloaded anything besides Microsoft office products. Which i also purchased at this store. My experience dealing with OfficeMax is very negative and i would not recommend to anyone.

Store Manager has horrible customer service skills. Store manager watched customers stand at a checkout and didnt offer to which register was open for checkout. Just watched the line grow until another employee took notice. As she held up the counter.

Needed 40X60 foam core -- the corners were damaged -- received 11% off -- I feel that was nothing compared to the damage! It was raining and they had no bag to put it in!

The associate went to the backroom to look for the desk that I ordered and said to me that there were no desks of that type. She looked up my order and said to me that the customer service department said the order was deleted and never sent me any type of communication on why it was deleted. Then the associate went back to her backroom and actually found the desk I ordered. Basically the lady lied to me that there was none and later on found one. My first time shopping there, and I will never buy anything from them again....

I went there to get some papers laminated. My experience with the document service was great!

Called first to see if they print wedding invitations they said yes if i buy them instore. I found some and wanted them to print on them but was told that they dont like using that type of paper. I was so upset but the card stock i found was the purfect color and design of my theme.

SM Denise is a lying hag. She is!!!! Rude to customers, employees, and vendors. Rest rooms are never cleaned, the urinal has been out of order for months. The furniture is simply junk. Just flakeboard and veneer.
