I bought my dress from here. Picking the dress out was a great experience and I even got a discount as they were doing a sale that weekend. I picked up my dress a couple weeks ago and the sleeves were not what I was expecting but I looked past that as Love Curvy couldn’t have known what they’d look like since they were an add-on from the manufacturer. When I tried on my dress it was MASSIVE on me. They said they sized up but it was about 4 sizes too big. I signed off on the dress because they said it could easily be taken in and I listened. I’m not a professional. I’ve been to multiple alterations businesses all quoting me over $700 to take my dress down to my correct size. Normal alterations would be the length, adding a bustle, and hemming the sleeves. However, my entire bodice needs re-done. Don’t get a dress from Love Curvy based off of the measurements they take. Get measured by someone else before you come. I’m out several hundreds more than the alterations SHOULD be.

Beautiful gowns in full figure sizes. And lets talk about how wonderful it smells in their establishment. They have scented air. Its amazing.

Sofia was amazing! I had been to multiple shops as a curvy girl and was made to feel bad about it but NOT here! They are awesome and I highly recommend this shop for all the other curvy girls out there

Michaela was AMAZING! This was my second appointment of the day and I was able to schedule last minute after a poor experience down the street. She was everything your heart could desire in a consultant. Super friendly and personal. She picked out two amazing dresses within my budget and that matched the description I provided.I said yes to the dress!! I was smiling ear to ear because of THE dress and the experience. Everyone was so patient and kind and I didn’t feel rushed at all!

I bought my dress here in September. Sandra was amazing! Being a street size 20 I am used to always feeling plus size and not the rule, but the exception. At love curvy I felt like the rule. I have zero negatives and cannot wait to pick up my dress in a month or so!

I said “yes” to the dress at Love Bridal. It was the most stress free, enjoyable experience I think I could have ever asked for. I worked with Sophia and she was so incredibly sweet and helpful, answering all questions I had. The store was bright and beautiful. Overall awesome experience, and I have recommended (and will continue to recommend) this bridal shop to everyone I know!

The consultants are wonderful and so personable. The new location is beautiful. They offer any style of dress you could want as a plus sized bride trying on dresses this was great and allowed me to figure out what I truly wanted in a dress. I would highly recommend this to any plus size dress. I also went to their sister store, Lace, for an accessories appointment and I would say the same welcoming, professional atmosphere in there. Great experience from all stores!

(Be sure to read update below after the first part of this comment) I went with my sister to shop for a wedding dress recently and I dont know if this store and the people working could have been any more wonderful. My sister had a bad experience at another store and when she called to make an appointment she told them about it. They really took that to heart and even remembered her from their phone conversation when she came in. They were so kind, the shop was so relaxing and not chaotic or rushed at all. They really listened to what my sister wanted and did not try to force their own opinion on her. They made her feel important and cared for through the whole experience. Our consultant was Michaela and she was the best! Their dresses are from their own private line so they wont be found at other bridal stores. They even said when my sister called to make an appointment and described the type of dress she was looking for that they already had a dress in mind that they thought she would love and it was actually the one she ended up picking! I would recommend this store to any curvy bride looking for a beautiful dress and a positive experienceUPDATE: I changed my 5 star review to 2 stars. The only reason it didn’t get 1 was because the actual shopping day was still a positive experience. My sisters dress is now not coming into until almost 2 months later than they told her. But the real problem is that they neglected to call my sister when they first found out this information. Instead, it took my mother continually calling the shop, having her calls ignored, and then finally getting an answer a few weeks after the dress was expected to come in. THEN a few days after that, they call and say the designer has made the wrong dress completely. Now my sister’s only options are to buy a floor sample of the dress that isn’t the size they stated she needed or to risk not getting the dress from the designer at all. My sisters experience with this store has been completely ruined and now she is anxiously waiting to see if the dress will even be possible.

So I found thee dress here! After being at several shops, it felt great to come upon a dress shop that are fit for the plus size figures! I was well informed and after a few details I found a dress that fit my personality and my venue. For any plus size bride, try them out and a bridal place across the street from them. Cant show pics of dress because its before the big day but you will truly feel like a queen and a woman at this place.

I bought my wedding dress from Love Curvy Bridal after having a terrible experience at another bridal shop. At the other store, I found a dress I loved just as much as I love the dress from Love Curvy, but the experience at the other bridal store made us leave and go out to try to new places the next morning. Thats when I walked in Love Curvy Bridal with my mom and grandma with no appointment and the ladies took care of me right away! We were all offered water or champagne before we even got started. We all picked out dresses and I tired on about 5 or 6 of them. I ended up buying the 3rd one I tired on. It was an amazing experience, the girls working, Sam and Caroline, were the sweetest and very helpful. I had been to other dress shops the day before and found some dresses that I liked but ultimately the experience and the fact that they had dresses I could try on in my size right there in the store where the selling factors. I bought a dress that I never would imagine myself in but it was elegant, glamorous, and made me feel beautiful! I even purchased my veil too! I had no real intentions of buying a dress, just thought I would get a feel for what style I liked. I 10/10 recommend Love Curvy be your first stop at the bridal district, you wont need to go anywhere else!

An overall amazing experience! We got there a little early but it wasnt a problem at all. It was the first time I was in a bridal shop where the samples fit me. One fit me so perfectly I could have walked right down the aisle! This is the perfect place for plus sized brides.

This was the First dress shop my bridesmaids and I went to try and find the one and Im so glad it was! Sam was our consultant and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She knew all the dress types and suggested ones I didnt think Id like but looked great after I did. Having her as my consultant really set the tone for the day and I cant thank her enough for all she did! I didnt end up finding my dress here and it upset me a little that I couldnt buy my dress from her because she was that great. I suggest every curvy to plus size bride going here first if you are shopping for dresses in the bridal district. Sam will show you how its done and make you feel amazing. To be honest I was a little nervous to wedding dress shop because of my curves and a lot of sample dresses are smaller, but all my worries went away after my time here. This shop was my best experience! Thank you!

Love Curvy is such a fantastic bridal shop! I literally cannot say enough good things about them. My first appointment I worked with Annie, who was such a sweetheart. I found the dress of my dreams easily due to their large selection of plus size gowns. I recently went in to try on my wedding dress again and worked with Emaleigh. She was so helpful and so sweet! They have a wide variety of veils and belts too! I would highly recommend!

I said yes to the dress at Love Bridal! Sam was my consultant and she helped me to have a great experience. We pulled many dresses even taking some off the display mannequin. Very professional, flexible and comforting experience. Small boutique with many dresses in various styles to choose from all in plus size. Champagne and water offered! Accessories available as well for purchase!

Visited the salon with my niece who is planning her wedding. Caroline was her consultant, who is very good at her job. We were like one big family.Dress was found, tears flowed and dress was ordered!!

I absolutely love my dress!! Sam was my bridal consultant and she was amazing, I felt so comfortable the whole time! I could go on and on about how great they were! For me being a plus size women I really didn’t expect to find a dress my first time looking as it’s hard to get a good idea when all the dresses are smaller sized but they had so many choices and options to choose from! Highly recommend them!

I received my dress in the mail and was so excited to try it on and see how it fit. To my horror, my dress was HUGE on me... like would not even stay on my shoulders if I wasn’t hanging on to it. I panicked immediately as my wedding is in September. I took it to a tailor right away and was told my dress was SO big, that I needed to call the bridal salon and have a smaller size sent to me! I have not lost any weight, so I know that wasn’t the issue. I went to multiple tailors until I was able to find a tailor who would agree to fix it. I called the salon to tell them how my measurements were horribly wrong and to see if they’d at least split the alteration bill. They were very unhelpful and said they measured twice and there’s no way it was that big. I’m so sad and so worried my dream dress won’t come together. I had such a positive experience in the store, but I’m devastated with the product I received.

We were here on July 15, 2017 shopping for my best friends wedding dress. We had an awesome experience thanks to Kristina!!! She was fabulous, funny and made our experience more than worth it!! My mom and I came here on the referral of a co-worker because although my fiancé and I have been engaged for over 2 years, we set a wedding date of this September only recently. I did NOT have high hopes going in, and I’m clueless about the dress process.Emaleigh was our consultant and though I walked in feeling disheartened and scared, I left feeling so happy! Emaleigh put my mind at ease IMMEDIATELY. We couldn’t do a custom dress due to the time frame, but she showed me the off-the-rack dresses and helped me try on a few. I fell in love with something quite simple, but then she suggested adding a blush pink belt and blush veil (which is an accent color for the ceremony) and that sold me. Emaleigh had amazing suggestions and was SO sweet and personable—I feel incredibly lucky that she was working when we randomly popped in. I can’t recommend this place and Emaleigh highly enough!

Met with Emaleigh on Saturday and she was fantastic! She was so understanding of the stress and process of picking the right dress! She picked up on my personality immediately and played to it. She also was wonderful to my family and BFF while listening to their input. She even teared up with us when we were having a moment!
