(UPDATE Today is August 28th 2020 i went to here to get two cases of soda that’s hard to find anywhere else i definitely would drive the hour drive again i love this place. This girl at the front counter was so nice and cases are $10.00 in store i love this place. I recommend this place to anyone it’s definitely worth the drive) TODAY IS I recently went to my local redners in Bensalem Pennsylvania and I saw that they sell your soda here so I tried it and I’m extremely attached to the blueberry birch it’s so amazing I’ve been trying other ones. I’m definitely coming right to your store to pick up a few cases of blueberry birch because my local renders they fly off the shelf fast . I can’t wait to see your store. This place has a pretty good selection of home brew supplies.I stopped by yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see that they purchased grains and stock from Weak Knee (weak knee is no longer selling beer making supplies).I had a good conversation with the gentleman working there and he said that if there is a specific yeast or hop that I am looking for to call a few days ahead of time for them to order in case they dont have it.

First time visiting this company a few weeks ago and loved it. Great flavors, great prices. My only issue is that their door opens inward, so if you are carrying 2 cases of soda you have to figure out how to open the door lol.

These guys have a small factory and distribution in Reading off Lancaster Ave. They are a small company, but they are so committed to contributing to our community. Their sodas are delicious and they are always coming up with new flavors. I recently worked with them for a class project and they bent over backwards to help us out and even offered for me to being students for a tour. I cannot Express enough how much I love this company. Some of the nicest people Ive met in Reading and they run a quality business. Their ginger beer kept me from getting sick while pregnant. My husband loves the orange soda and their strawberry is really good, too. They distribute to a lot of places, but Im telling its worth it to go straight to the store. They also sell supplies for making your own!

I am looking to have old fashioned glass bottles at our wedding and reading soda works has been more than helpful with the process. They were so quick to respond to my initial inquiry and they have continued to be great with communication.I asked to come and try some flavors, but they went above and beyond. Denton met with my fiance and i and showed us around the facility, showed all the different clear glass options (which Im super excited about the red (strawberry cream) white (vanilla cream) and blue (blueberry birch) look!!). He took the time to explain the process, the flavors, the history, all of it. I really like the passion that they clearly have for this business and the friendly nature of the owners and employees.Oh..... and the taste is incredible. Not the fake sugar taste of a normal soda. This soda is amazing.Needless to say, my fiance and I are very happy to have reading soda works a part of our wedding!

Went directly to the manufacturer and purchased. Very cordial place with excellent customer service and tours available! Tasted it for the first time a few days earlier at the Strasberg Railroad Museum cafeteria. I had to have more. Drove to Reading and purchased several cases a few feet from the loading dock.

Local Soda company recently purchased by a couple. Great friendly people was there customer while they supplied CO2 to the restaurant I managed.

Denton and his son Brendan are Top Notch people, great father and son team. The rest of the staff is well trained with proper etiquette . If you are into wine or beer making, this is your go-to place. Very friendly with a great product line that lets you make the best. The wine we produce beats anything on the liqueur store shelves. Their soda is so unique it deserves more attention also.

This soda is great! They use pure cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. Their diet root beer uses splenda, not aspartame. Lots of flavors to choose from. They also have materials for people interested in brewing their own alcoholic beverages. In their lobby, they have 8-10 sodas on tap to try before you buy. Their cream soda is my favorite. Deliciously creamy with a slight spicey finish. All of their sodas are very smooth because they inject the carbon dioxide very slowly. The bubbles are therefore a lot smaller than big soda companies, which means a smoother drink, less burping, and a drink that stays carbonated longer after opening. Support local businesses!!! This ones a gem!!!

This is a gem of a place right in our back yard. They even gave us a tour, let us sample their on tap testers, and gave us a birch beer fresh off the line. I cant say more wonderful things about this place.

Wonderful soda and 17 flavors to choose from! Their soda reminds me of the way soda tasted when I was a child...good flavor without the acid and super carbonation like todays soda and they put it in glass bottles!!

I can only speak to the homebrew portion of the establishment. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There isnt a massive selection, but they do have all the basics covered. Finally, their prices are the lowest Ive seen, and they offer a 10% off discount for AHA members.If you are a new homebrewer youll have more options for extract kits than you could imagine. If you are an experienced brewer looking for something specific and not very common, they may need to order it for you.Again, the staff is so friendly and helpful. If they dont have something you need they are pretty good with offering smart alternatives and they are willing to order anything in.
