This Company does NOT. back up what they sell & they have poor management. I searched their site for FRUIT WINE BASE, in particular strawberry & peach .It showed me a STRAWBERRY & PEACH wine base which I then ordered.Upon receipt of these $300-$400 wine bases I find in the ingredients that they ARE NOT STRAWBERRY OR PEACH FRUIT WINES, they are grape juice base with “ natural fruit flavors “ and CORN SYRUP! I DID NOT WANT “ FRUIT FLAVORED” WINE !After a few weeks of emails & slow responses they agreed to let me return but I had to pay extremely expensive return shipping.NO WAY WAS I PAYING RETURN SHIPPING ON A PRODUCT THAT WAS NOT PROPERLY DESCRIBED ON THEIR SITE .In no way should any business, in these days of easy no hassle returns by AMAZON & other online retailers should a company behave such as this to their clientele.

Dont go to this address. It is just a warehouse and you are not allowed inside. You must order on line and you then have a choice to have shipped or you can go there to pick up. This is due to pandemic. Their website should state that. I drove 2 hours to buy items. Out of my way.

I just got my second order from Labelpeelers. I got the order in 2 days and the prices are good. My 1st order had a minor issue so I emailed them. I received a return email the next day telling me they would resolve the issue even though it was the fault of the manufacturer. I will be a long term customer and have turned my other brew friends on to this site.

This place is pretty far for me to drive but when I cant find something at the Akron homebrew shop I can usually get it here. Everything Ive gotten from here has been top quality, and they have some outstanding original beer recipe kits.

You really couldnt ask for a better home brew shop. Because i dont live close enough to pick up at the store, I have to have all orders delivered. The prices, including shipping, are better than youll find anywhere. Shipping is fast - almost always the same day. Returns are easy with no hassles and any defective merchandise is replaced the same day you let them know theres an issue with it. They dont wait until they get the defective product back. Quality has really gone down hill for the last few years at this place. I recently ordered a dozen flip top 1 liter bottles on their website and the product picture that is used is of the EZ Cap 1 liter bottles which are made in Canada. Those are high quality bottles, as Ive purchased these before from Label Peelers. However, the product they are selling now are bottles they advertise to be 1 liter EZ Caps, but actually hold a little less than the EZ Caps. And the walls of these new bottles are much thinner than the EZ Caps. Needless to say, I didnt finish the transaction for these bottles. On top of it all, I brought it to the owners attention to update the product picture as these are noticeably different. He said theyd update the product info on their website (which they didnt) and after a while of not doing so, I tried to leave negative feedback on the product which they keep deleting, because hey, they want all their products to have 5 stars; even if theyre dishonest about it! And check out Yelp reviews too as they help to paint a clearer picture of the owner.

Package was damaged in the mail causing the DME for my yeast starters to get spilled all over the inside of the box. I asked about sanitation issues and they resent me the whole 3# bag the next day. These guy are great help if you ever need to call and ask for information, and if something goes wrong - rest assured they care about service and make it right. Considering they have the lowest prices anywhere on the net - the quality/family-run-business style service is just a real delight. Its gonna be hard to peel me away from shopping at label peelers.

Great local place for brewing ingredients. Been getting my stuff here since they were located on route 43, 10 years ago. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, great selection and good prices. Mostly order for pickup now that they are in Ravenna though, kind of miss the in store experience.

I have ordered from them multiple times and am pleased with the quality, price as well as customer service.My most recent wine kit delivery was damaged in transit (not LPs fault)and leaked. Within 24 hours, not only did Label Peelers have a free replacement kit on the way, they also gave me some really helpful instructions on how to salvage the remainder of the damaged kit so that it didnt go to waste.

If you are a seasoned Brewer/Winemaker or a beginner, they will have everything you need.They are very welcoming if you drop in, and you can browse their store for the supplies you need. But, for kits, it appears that their business model is designed around pre-ordering. So if you put in your order BEFORE 3pm, you can pick it up that day (if its in stock) or the next day.They have a variety of kits to choose from as well as a variety of ingredients for those who dont use kits. They have all the tools and supplies you may need.I am so thankful to have Label Peelers as a resource for my brewing needs!

Bad experiences with their shipping dept. On last order they waited a week to ship out. Stuff sloppily packaged when arrived after 8 days, like stuff just strewn in oversized box. Gluten Free Beer kit has no instructions of any kind, Exclusion Beer Kits. Atleast person on phone was pleasant when called them.

I have been making wine for 10 years and have ordered from countless online supply stores.I recently decided to try Label Peelers wine and brew supply store and was blown away by both their competitive prices and customer service. I ordered about $15 worth of filter pads for my wine filter and checked out as Guest without creating a customer profile. When checking out, somehow, the [Country] line got duplicated on the [Address] line and got sent before I caught it. I immediately sent an email to correct the problem, but before it was answered, the man filling my order for shipping called. He had noticed the problem, found my number, and called to verify that the address he had looked-up was correct. When he had verified the address with me, he then told me he was giving me a discount and upgrading the shipping. This is my go to site for wine kits. Their total price for the kit and shipping combinec is hard to beat. They 9nly carry the winexpert brand of kits but I love winexperts kits and label peeler always has a good selection. Kits are well packaged and shipping is quick. So why only 4 stars? Label peelers puts out sale emails that are often misleading. A couple weeks ago they put out an email for a big warehouse clearance sale. When I went to their site I couldnt find the items that were for sale. I emailed label peeler and asked where I could locate the sale items on their site. They emailed back that their kits are always marked down 40% and that is the sale. So was there any special, limited time sale going on? Even though the email advertised there was, there was not. Except for this practice that I wish they would only do when there is in fact a special sale it is a great place for wine kits

Update:So, Label Peelers reached out to me and explained that the account notification is sent out from the service they use for orders. Evidently there is a limitation on using an email to check out as a guest then trying to place another order with that email. They agreed that the email could be worded better.They did send me the correct product and Im very happy with it. Good quality and it arrived very quickly. They also apologized for coming across as unhelpful originally.All in all, the second interaction with Label Peelers was much better. Im changing my rating to 4 stars because the product was very good and I have to give them credit for stepping up to fix the issue. I finally made the trip to the new location in Ravenna. I am assuming the person in charge was the owner and he was a pleasure to talk to and quite helpful. The 10% off email I received was strictly fot online purchases only. This was bad for them, because my list was just over $150 and ended up only spending $20.There is no retail space any longer, but we were invited to walk the warehouse and pick at our leisure. No pricing and the isles are not labeled / defined. There is definitely room for improvement.I was upset to see their decision to use the US postal boxes and bins for their stock. I get that it helps them save money, but those boxes are paid for with my taxes. It is illegal.

What can I say if your home Brewer or home Vinter this is the place to go. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and is always willing to give you any extra help when needed. I live 40 minutes away but this is my regular place to get all my brewing supplies.
