Awesome ice cream shoppe! The staff was great and the ice cream was fantastic. I paired the Cotton Candy with the Lemon Oreo on a sprinkled waffle cone.

Da dang this place is good. Didn’t know what to expect when I walked in but they had new fresh flavors. One of the new flavors was sage and it was bomb, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Delicious ice cream and cheaper than others in town! They have some cool looking flavors, like cookie monster, lemon grass, etc, as well!I really wanted to try cookie monster, as it has a personal meaning, but they were out as we walked up to the counter.The strawberry was good, i tried some coffee as well, and it was good too. Just -1 star for the lack of back stock.

Delicious! Try the Cookie Monster kind. My daughter asked for a cone with sprinkles and they gladly obliged, even putting a surprise of sprinkles at the bottom of the cone.

Fun creamery with splendid fresh ice cream. We particularly enjoyed the lemon and PB Oreo flavors.

The vegan ice cream was fantastic. Its cashew based so it has a very creamy texture but I didnt miss the dairy at all. Im kinda happy I went on my last day because I would have been there every day.

I get the kitchen sink...(((thats probably not what its called, but you get to pick 6 flavors and they put these little scoops of different ice creams all in one (order the waffle cone dipped in your fave topping) cone. If you dont like your food touching, then dont order this one. Its like sky diving with your ice cream choices. What a ride.

Fantastic! This is a locally owned place in the heart of downtown Rapid City in Main Street Square. Most of the staff is young, but they are trained well and provide great customer service. They have a walk up window if you dont want to go inside (very limited seating) and you can sample some flavors before you purchase. They come up with some unique (unique to me anyway) flavors like Southern Bourbon Pecan, Sage, Lavender Honey, Rosewater and more. Their selections change frequently, so you want to be sure to visit them regularly so you dont miss out. You can have your ice cream in a dish or cone - regular and waffle and also select how many scoops you want. A variety of toppings to choose from if you wish and you can also purchase mason jar sundaes or purchase in pints, quarts or gallons. They also celebrate some fun days like National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day and also offer $1.00 ice cream cones when Main Street Square has an event like their weekly Movies Under the Stars event in the summer. Silver Lining uses locally sourced products when they can and that makes me like them even more.

So good we came back for seconds.

Compare to cold stone but local quality.

Their ice cream is so fresh. I love being able to watch them make the ice cream on site. I tried their lemongrass ice cream for the first time today. It was light and not overpowering. The balance of sweetness with the lemongrass flavor was perfect. I definitely will be coming back to try their other unique flavors.

For the price of their ice cream I wish strawberry would taste like strawberry. Theyve messed up on my order the past couple of times Ive been there. Their flat bottom cones are very stale. I think Armadillos Ice Cream it is for my family and I here on out.

This place was great, we were able to get there about 15 minutes before closing and the staff welcomed us in warmly. The ice cream is delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Were used to paying $8 an ice cream but it was $8 for two small sundaes that were big! Definitely go!

I really liked the A+ location in downtown Fargo, the friendly staff, and the reasonable prices. The quality of the ice cream was pretty good, I try to seek out places like this that make it on site.I was disappointed at what I felt was a limited variety of flavors. They had some really unique stuff like lemongrass or lavender honey but I prefer things with lots of chocolate or cookie chunks, etc, and there really wasnt anything like that there which was a bit surprising.To use a phrase from my wife, it seemed very much a white college girl ice cream shop. Good, probably one of the better ice cream options in a region dominated by Dairy Queen, but not spectacular.

Clean and well-lit, a few unusual flavors. Prices too high, most varieties only available in soft serve. Soft serve was below average taste and consistency. Shake flavors were bland. No seating.

This place is always a fun place to go to especially on those warm sunny days. They have a nice open outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your ice cream or sundae or whatever else it is that you got. You can customize your sundae and they have some cool stuff you can buy as well. They have shirts, little mason jar glasses you can buy, fun designed bowls, and a few other little things as well. The location is nice being where it is because you are right next to the open little park they have where, if you wanted to go play on the turf lawn they have, you can do so and enjoy your treat in between messing around. The staff has been great every time I have been there. They also have there little factory you can see where they make the cones and ice cream I believe that is behind glass which is also cool to look at while you are waiting in line. Ice cream that is available also changes frequently so there is always something new to try which is also nice. I totally recommend this nice little shop to anyone visiting or hasnt tried it yet.

They have standard and unique flavors which are all rich n creamy. Sometimes they get busy, in a small shop so expect to take your ice cream to go.Some flavors are better than others, but they do let you taste before you decide which is really nice.

Silver Lining Creamery is located in the downtown area, a step away from the ice skating rink. I only tried the hot chocolate flavor and was sold. Creamy and delicious! It also has marshmallows!Its a very cute store. It was very clean and bright. Staff were friendly too!

The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the store is really cute! Staff has always been friendly as well and let us sample the various flavors before choosing. The one thing I wish theyd do though is post the days flavors on facebook or somewhere first thing when they open up- they usually get posted later in the day (or some days not at all) so a couple days when my husband and I have been debating on if we want to go that day or not we decided not to chance it cause we werent sure what they had.

Unable to take my order because they didnt have large shake cups. Or medium shake cups. Or any cups for that matter.

Ok. Not great. Went in and saw a very delicious looking hot chocolate float. This looked to include chocolate shavings, whipped cream, etc. It was a bit chilly this night so it looked to be perfect for the occasion. Unfortunately, it tasted like Swiss Mix in lukewarm water with some vanilla ice cream added. Wasnt overly enthused with the result. Ate/Drank about half and threw the rest away.

Used to love silver lining but my husband went there this evening and they said 1 flavor and weve always gotten 2! Also we got a pint and they didnt fill it; when my husband asked they said every flavor is a different price. Um...but your ice cream flavor prices are the same. Back to Armadillos we go; forget this inconsistency and false advertising; was just trying to support local business but hard to do with customer service like that!To the owner: I went back today and the same thing again about NO 2 flavors in a pint! The girls name was Madison and we showed her your response and she still would not give it to me.
