If you are not wealthy, think about what youd consider to be a ridiculous price for patio furniture and then double that, and thats what youll find here. Save your time by going elsewhere to find affordable stuff. Their furniture seems nice and well made, the people were nice, but I saw a table with chairs that was advertised LOOK! like it was some big sale... Well, you can see the picture. That being said, they have some neat decoration type stuff, also $$$ but not to this same extent. I will probably never come back here unless I somehow strike it rich and want a ginormous patio set, but even then, Id probably still hesitate to support this overinflated pricing (hey, just my two cents!)

BUYERS BEWAREWe purchased our hot tub in December. We enjoyed our purchase experience and our sales person was awesome. Here is we’re everything fell apart. Our hot tub was delivered in January. The day it was delivered, they delivered the wrong cover, the cover lift was the wrong model, the chemical package was the wrong type, the hot tub’s internal wires were disconnected which caused nothing to work, two exterior panels were damaged and reported to the warehouse upon delivery.They did send a tech out to fix the wiring issue within the first week. A few more weeks went by and they forgot about the issues with our cover and lifter, which they did replace a month later after we inquired about it. Since then, nothing! It’s been several months. I’ve emailed the service manager with no reply. I’ve gone into the store to talk to a manager. Not much luck there. We were offered $50 credit initially for dealing with these issues but when we went into the store to ask about the credit, the manager had no record of it. I also inquired about our replacement exterior panels, which were not ordered. The manager called back a few days later to tell me that the credit was added the week before I inquired about, yet he could find it? He also said that I needed to provide proof of the damage panels. These panels were identified and reported by the installer and initially acknowledged by customer service at the time of delivery. Why several months later do I need to supply proof.We filed a complaint directly with Jacuzzi in January with no response. Jacuzzi is supposed to be top of line, but our experience has been a long and frustrating joke. Buyers beware! We recently filed a complaint with the federal trade commission as well as state government agencies. We do not recommend California Backyard to anyone and we share our experience so that people are aware of issues they may have to deal with.

Eddie is the manager, and he is fabulous at helping you select EXACTLY what you want! Even though everything is on back order because of the pandemic, Eddie was able to get everything ordered, and the quality and comfort of the furniture we ordered is awesome!

Customer service is alive and well at CBY! My husband and I recently purchased a Green Mountain Smoker from the Gold River location. On getting it home and assembled, it was not functioning. Green Mountain was great about helping us identify the problem quickly, and it was determined that there was a problem with the auger. Rare, but it happens, and not a quick fix that we can handle on our own. We called CBY the same day, and alerted them to the issue. Based on some of the other reviews that we had read, we were concerned that we would have trouble with return/repair/replacement. We were connected with Karen who I believes runs California Backyards Operations. She was absolutely fantastic! She called us back in a timely manner, quickly located another new unit, and even offered to have it assembled for us free of charge so we wouldnt have a problem. We opted to pick up the new unit from one of the other stores and return the original. The new unit works great! We would have been happy with the experience had it ended there, but Karen went the extra mile and gave us a follow up call the next day to make sure we didnt have any problems. Above and beyond! Thank you, Karen, for turning what could have been an awful experience into a really great one!

Nice place to get backyard furniture and during the Christmas holidays

This place is huge! Many hot tubs, barbecue islands, pellet grills and patio furniture.

My husband and i recently purchased some patio furniture and are very happy with our selections. Most importantly, we discovered that Rebecca as well as Store Manager, Jerry Petkovich, were very easy to work with in ordering what we wanted, delivering our purchases, and taking care of our needs, in general. They have been very patient and accommodating.I highly recommend this store as you will not be disappointed. For future purchases, I will return to this store in a heartbeat!
