I think I have an addiction when it comes to home depot. I go in for 1 or 2 things in and out real quick right? Wrong 3 hours later I am putting stuff back and still have to go get what I came for...lol just too much fun for this big kid

Love my new kitchen but DO NOT finance with Home Depot. Get a loan somewhere else or pull equity. They use FCC Finance for a 3rd party loan. Most shady loan ever and they steal from you and lie. I wish I waited but I had zero clue what I was getting myself into. FCC Finance doesnt provide proper paperwork for the loan and they take more than the interest on the contract. Im still fighting this loan. Worse ever! Frauds!

I realize it depends on a particular visit, because I could just as easily give Home Depot a 5 on other occasions however, this time theyre cheap rakes werent so cheap on price but very cheaply made. The fertilizer / grass seed selection was okay but they no longer have the Roundup™ brand weed sprayer. Since I couldnt get it all, I didnt get anything. Lowes baby, here I come!

Nice to have competition with other local hardware big box stores close together. They keep each other in line price wise and service wise. I rarely have any issues at this Home Depot and drop in to kill time sometimes and check out what’s going on.

Employees need more knowledge on what aisle things are at. Im really not sure and then getting back to what they were doing is not acceptable. Do better Home Depot, do better!!!

I have a love hate relationship with Home Depot. I am an advanced DIYer, I can do just anything around the house. I have completely remodeled my kitchen, both baths and a hundred other big and small projects around the house. I only mention this because I want people understand that this review is coming from someone who is very familiar with Home Depot.I love how close Home Depot is. They have a wide selection and I can usually find what I need. If they dont stock an item you can usually find it on their website. I have found their delivery times to be fairly quick.My biggest gripe is the employees, there seems to never be anyone around when you need help. A lot of the people cant help you when you do find them, but there are a few that are truly knowledgeable and will help you. You just have to get to know who they are and find them.Home Depot is my go to hardware store.

Went to get keys made and the lady that helped me was great. Got in line and the only self checkout lines open were credit card only!!!! I then to Home Depot looking for cabinets and shelving they have a large selection . Setting up a Shop up for my son need to finish the plans . I did get two storages boxes for me . The store is well lite and the staff are very helpful .

Their overall inventory has been improving as late.

A worker there called Jose was not really helpful. K asked for his help and he just told me to go look for it myself. Thankfully a desk person called Tim helped me right after and he was really nice!! I would’ve given this place 1 star if it weren’t for Tim.

Firstly let me say this, if I could give this store less than 1 star thats what I would rate this establishment.My son, boyfriend and I were here this afternoon, at 3pm and the store was pretty empty compared to how the one in Folsom is no matter what time you go. That being said, NOT ONE single person the entire hour and a half we were there asked if we needed help finding anything. NOT ONE! And I could understand if they were all his busy with other customers but that was not the case at all. They were standing around chatting with each other and completely ignoring every customer in the store, leaving us to wander aimlessly looking for the correct supplies we need to complete a van conversion project were working on. And to really top it off when we found someone that we could ask where something was or if they carried it, we were met with attitude, ignorance of his job and told to go find the guy a CPL rows down. When my boyfriend found that guy, he is completely rude and says he doesnt know or care where what we were looking for was as he was walking away with another worker. Obviously late for his break.I will never ever go back to this particular home depot Ever again. Sure they are less crowded than Folsom and they had the birch plywood in the size I needed in stock. I dont t care you couldnt pay me to go back into this store. I will stick to the Folsom store and actual helpful people that take pride in their jobs.

The four I named were extremely polite, helpful, committed, and quick to understand what we were looking for. And they didn’t quit assisting us until we were completely satisfied with our purchases and service. We live in Auburn, but anytime I need 5-star attention, I will gladly drive the distance to go to Rancho Cordova rather than visit our local Home Depot. I believe that those who are responsible for the hiring, training and management of the staff at the Home Depot Rancho Cordova site must be doing an excellent job in their capacities as well. I used to like Home Depot until I had some of their customer service. After being sent to 3 different stores and wasting 4hrs of my day, for a saw, i do not want to give them any more business. I ended up leaving $1500 of tools at the register because of their poor service.

I was directed to customer area to check out because one of the item that I purchased needs to be clear from security. I didnt mind that. They normally asked if I have some kind of discount. The person at this counter did not ask me at that time. But I asked if I got a discount for the veteran. I showed my id and the vet card. She looked at it and handed it over to her coworker. And he said that that was an old card. He would honor at this time. The card was less than one year old.I dont get upset that easily. But when people question me about me being a veteran, I am not happy. Perhaps, only a certain kind of people can be a veteran in his mind? Perhaps, only a certain kind of veterans are honored at this home depot. I HOPE NOT.The following is an addition that I had experienced with this Home Depot. First, I had a countertop replacement project. The representative was very helpful throughout the process to the end. Im pretty happy with that. So I went back for another project to replace a front door. First, two representatives were sitting at the desk on the phone ignore my presence. I over heard one conversation. It seemed to be personal phone call. I had to leave at that time. I went back another time and got a little help from a young man. I decided to come back another time before I put in the order.I went back three more times. No one was at the desk. I went to customer service and was told to go back there. And they would dispatch someone to meet me there. I waited and waited. No one showed up. I even went back and forth a couple times to customer service. They kept saying that someone would meet me there. Finally, they said that the person didnt show up to work.I gave up on home depot for this project and went to a door company near my work. My door was replaced in three weeks. I was happy with that.Then the situation about discount with customer service that I mentioned earlier happened.I still use this home depot because its closer to my house. But I only go when Lowes doesnt have what I need.I ordered a security door online about a month ago. It was a good experience. An older customer service rep helped with everything. There was another younger rep who didnt seem to be happy to help at all. Im sorry. It seems that many employees of this store are not happy employees.I still go to this place from time to time.I still get my veteran discount.I still get the greety attitude.I was looking for another project to replace a patio door. I didnt even bother to go to home depot. A glass company just beat home depot. The order was put in. And they honestly told me that it is going to take time since the supplies are low. They have more projects now than they ever had before. I still put the order any way. Heres another loss for home depot.So Home Depot, you are my secondary now. I go to other places first before I go to you.

Being a member of the retail side of the construction industry my self, i was never a fan of home depot when i was younger. That being said, as I have grown older i frequently visit the Rancho store and I am very impressed with the knowledge of the employees. They always help me find what i am looking for or at the least help me find a solution.

It was once a 4 star store, but the last few years Id say it has dipped to a 2, due to customer service severely lacking. Though it is a clean, mostly organized store the verdict stands.

The people that are very helpful very polite but I needed a filter mask they didnt have any. Im not talking about these placebo mass that everybody walks around wearing, this is an actual PPE mask that I need. Also their employees dont get any employee discount

Well when Im looking to add to my tool collection I always end up at Home Depot. They always have a GREAT SELECTION at a great price. The people that work there are Friendly and knowledgeable. And they always have just what Im looking for. Unlike Lowes whos always out of stock. If I were to rate Home Depot and Lowes Home Depot would get 9 points and Lowes would get 4.

Man, this was a challenge! Everyone in the store was super helpful, but the computers were not so much. Checking online or calling the store and dealing with the automated attendant was a waste of time. You HAVE to call and talk to a live person. They can check Actual Inventory on the sales floor instead of just pulling a SKU#. I found what I needed, exactly how I needed it. It just took patience and commitment.

Online if you see 3 items dont go. One was stolen by the homeless, one by an employee and the last was miss placed. I dont know if thats true but sure feels like it.

Placed an order for a patio door 3 months ago. Had to call them every single week because they refused to deliver it on time which was 2 weeks as promised.3 months later, i have the patio door but THEY FORGOT to deliver the screen door that comes with the door. In total i paid $2300 for the door and installation.Im still calling every week to get updates on my screen door. Literally the worst customer service when it comes to big orders.Unfortunately i also placed an order for 10 other windows with Home Depot 2 months ago. Worth $8K. Not a single window has arrived yet. And nobody has called to update me. I have been calling to get updates. Same old update - the manufacturer hasnt delivered the windows yet.I will NEVER use Home Depot Services for home improvement projects. Their customer service, even service was awful. They put me through more mental stress than any other company has put me through so far. If you want to have a smooth project, dont chose Home Depot. Theyre bunch of lunatics running the store unprofessionally.

I called to ask them to check if the item I wanted to buy was in stock here (Because this item out of stock on the west sac and Meadowview location).Then on the phone they said that there are 5 left. Yay! After about half an hour I drove up here just to buy that item. When I arrived, I found nothing at all... so sad! I dont think its too difficult to check an item, given the SKU number in hand.I think the staff here should work more thoughtfully. I saw the staff here were very crowded, and they were very happy to talk and chat together while working. People should be less distracted at work, and instead pay a little attention to helping customers.

Stop by there to get some lumbers and tools to build the chicken coop for my friend. Some of the worker was pretty helpful and friendly, he help me load up the (4x8) plywood onto the flatbed. But the cashier didnt offer if I needed help loading up the 5 (4×8) plywood, 20 (8 2×3) 5 10(2×4), 4 12(2x4) 10(2x4), a 120VAC 7 1/4 Dewalt circular saw and pick axe onto the 4x4 truck.

JeTaun The manager for the WESTERN DIVISION is truly horrible I just received a call to become a person that helps them with asset protection. She was rude and very disrespectful, also she tried to belittle me by asking questions that did not make any sense. At all when I asked the question correctly, she proceeded to say that I need to calm down. First and foremost I wouldn’t work here to save my life. She was very discouraging and had no patience. She called from a 770 area code. Please people out there do not work for this company they are disgusting and horrible.

No one asked if I needed help finding something as usual for Home Depot. I asked for help in the lumber department and the guy had a nasty attitude and snapped at me for asking him a question. He seem to be taking his personal issues out on the customers.

I showed up in the parking lot, called the service counter, and was helped by Nicole, she was very professional and helpful. She put my order together, then carried it out to me in my truck. Also identified one item that had to be special order, which I already knew, but she just reconfirmed this, which was nice.Thank you Home Depot.

I was in the store around 9:30 am on a Sunday.The store looked great, well stocked, neat, the plants in the nursery where not dead looking like the Home Depot near my house. (Power Inn and Folsom Blvd needs to step up there game 😲)

Home depot is the no frills hardware stop. They are closer to our house than Lowes and have different options for tools. I particularly like their Ryobi tool selection. Customer service is not quite as good as Lowes but it is also nothing to complain about. I enjoy my quick visits to pickup, particularly when using the lockers for online order pickup, super fast.

I just love being able to buy tools, and supplies for my house and work all in one place and the holiday stuff is just an added bonus.
