I’ve gotten two tattoos done here by Amanda and I have absolutely LOVED my experience. Not only was the artwork amazing, but the whole vibe of the shop is so positive and relaxing. I had four wonderful tattoo sessions at Seven Souls this year. The shop is clean, tidy, bright, and welcoming. The staff are all cool, professional, and very talented. I worked with Amanda for my partial sleeve. I was thrilled with her design — and blown away by the finished product. She was patient, friendly, and always made me feel comfortable. Pricing was very fair given the high quality work. I was very, very happy with my experience and have already recommended Seven Souls to numerous friends (and strangers who compliment my arm!).

My son came up with an idea for him, my husband and I to get tattoos to make one big picture. One that represented our family. Nick drew it up. Absolutely love how they came out. You can see the results under his name on the website. I have been back since then to get others. I highly recommend Nick. He listens to your ideas and adds his touch to every one. He is a great artist and amazing at putting it on your skin. My next one is to honor my dad who passed away. A Taz and Roadrunner tattoo. Can’t wait till Friday. I know it will come out amazing.

For as long as Amanda is tattooing near me, I will be getting my tattoos done by her! Almost every piece on my half sleeve was done by Amanda and I have had nothing but an amazing experience. Shes done an amazing job at bringing ideas that exist in my head to life via her art!! The shop itself has always been super clean, very professional, and very welcoming. I have a bunch of other tattoos from other NJ based shops and I think 7 Souls pricing is super far and on par with any other respectable shop. I couldnt recommend Amanda and 7 Souls more! (All tattoos in the photos were done by Amanda, the blacked out areas are tattoos not done by Amanda or at 7 Souls)

This is the fourth a tattoo I’ve gotten from 7 Souls and I cannot recommend them enough.Panda did my latest tattoo, and oh my goodness, she was amazing! She made me feel welcome, she made her space immaculate, and we talked the entire time I was getting my tattoo done! My tattoo turned out amazing because Panda listened to exactly what I wanted. If anyone in the Bergen County area is looking to get a tattoo, this place is 100% recommend!!

Great tattoo parlor! If youre looking for a delicate, detailed tattoo, Danielle is an actual wizard. Everyone is very welcoming, and they really work with you to make sure that you get a piece youre going to love. Got my first tattoo here, and I cant imagine going anywhere else!

I had a tattoo done by Ryan the other day. I contacted 7 souls and Ryan to schedule an appointment and pretty much only provided a brief description of what I wanted. I went in and the tattoo drafted up by Ryan was even better than I thought it would be. Everything about the process was so easy and all employees I came in contact with were extremely friendly and accommodating. I cannot stress enough how happy I am with the tattoo and how easy Ryan and everyone else were. Definitely recommend going here for a tattoo!

Absolutely loved this place! Totally took a chance on a new tattoo place, but feel in love with the work that was done. Shoutout to Maverick for doing an awesome job!! 12/10 will definitely be back!

I never get out negative reviews. But now I have to every time I go there there is some weird communication between me and the artist.I never leave satisfied. I dont even know why o go back. I have four tats from this place. I resent connected with one of the artist to asked if she can add simple cherry blossoms on my leg to connect the two tattoos that I have on my leg. It mightve been all of 10 flowers add and she Said no because she wants me to be happy as she doesnt want to go over somebodys work its just little flowers. Your operation is possibly the worst most unprofessional. I will never ever go back to this place again completely disappointed. I wont give her name or anyone elses hi across-the-board it just isnt a good experience. Theyre not friendly Now I look at these tattoos and this is the relation that I have with them such a bad experience

I have had 15 tattoos done by Amanda. All of them are amazing and well done. The shop is always clean and Amanda always makes sure I’m comfortable and taken care of. She’s my go to for all my weird designs turned into art.

My son and I went to Body Art yesterday because a friend recommended it to us. My son designed a tattoo in memory of my dad and I had handwriting from my mom that I wanted to have done. When e walked in the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. Everyone was very friendly and Panda was recommended to us to do what we wanted. She was super nice, explained everything and helped make us feel less nervous then we were when we first walked in. She was very knowledgeable and fits an awesome job. We were both so haly with how they turned out. Would highly recommend Body Art and Panda.

Ive also worked with Ryan in regards to piercings, he is incredibly professional and knows how to put you at ease. I got my belly button pierced by Gabby about two weeks ago. She was very professional and very kind. When I mentioned I was nervous, she took time to reassure me. She explained each step of the procedure so I would not worry. She didn’t rush me and I believe that is very important. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She was wonderful!In regards to the shop, as others have mentioned, it was very clean and everyone was inviting and very friendly. Great place!

I love coming here for my ink! I always go to Sabrina, because I’m never disappointed with her line work, and love her style of shading. The shop has a really welcoming, homey vibe, and I love that because there’s nothing worse than walking into a shop and feeling like you don’t belong. It’s also a very clean shop which is extremely important to me. I think it’s really cool that you can clearly see the staff working like a team and supporting each other. Prices are never unreasonable from my experience and their flash sheet events are amazing!

My experience with Body Art & Soul was absolutely 5 stars! My artist, Danielle, met with me in person to get an idea of what I was looking for, and we spent the next few weeks going back and forth to fine tune the design of my tattoo. She is incredibly patient and easy to work with, and the end product is something I will look at every day for the rest of my life - I love it! Not only that, but the process was not nearly as painful as I was preparing myself for - she has a super light touch, even the healing process went really smoothly.The studio itself, is very clean and quiet and everyone was welcoming and friendly.We were already discussing my next tattoo before I left =)=) I will be back, and I cant wait!!!!

Very clean and great staff! Got my first tattoo there and both earlobes re-pierced. Friendly, well priced, and very comfortable. Sabrina was amazing and patient with me as a first time tattoo-er. Pretty painless piercing especially getting them re-pierced after so long, Ryan was wonderful. Both kept me well informed on how to care for my tattoo and ears.

I have several hundred dollars of work on my body from this shop and I love the relaxed atmosphere, however, there are some extremely unprofessional tattoo artists here that will talk behind your back and belittle you in the cliques that have formed. I would love to come back, since I live right in Mahwah, but the people responsible for the drama should be fired, indefinitely. Currently looking for a humble tattoo artist at 7 Souls. Recommendations encouraged for myself and a few of my friends. Thank you !

This was the second time I went to Body & Soul. The first time was to get a small tattoo and the second was to hold my friends hand while she got one. Both times the studio was clean and bright. Everyone is so friendly and talented. Oh and I ended up getting a helix piercing while I was there. Seems to be doing nicely.

Excellent experience both times Ive gotten work done there. The entire staff was very friendly and were all able to answer any questions I had. Panda was my artist both times and I couldnt be any happier with the results. Will be back for sure!

The tattoo apprenticeship is a scam. Even though the management guarantees all their apprentices a job upon completion of their program, they only keep the artists they want. The teachers do not correct your technique or direct you during your projects. They wait until AFTER youve completed a project to correct you, which means youre spending more time and money there. Other employers do not want to hire apprentices from this program because the techniques that are taught here are incorrect and sometimes unsafe; this was such an issue that this company decided to change its name (they were previously know as Seven Souls Tattoos). The quality of education here is sub par at best, and its very expensive (about $800 a month). Any aspiring tattoo artist would be better off learning under the supervision of a single, established artist in a work place environment, considering that is the traditional and most respected way to become a tattoo artist.

Quality tattoo shop, I got my first two tattoos here and I plan to get many more. The artistry, the welcome feeling, 100% trust immediately. Panda is brilliant and she’s earned a canvas and customer for life

This was my first time visiting Body Art & Soul and I absolutely loved it. I made an appointment with Danielle via IG DM and she was quickly responsive. She immediately asked me simple questions like what I wanted done, size, and any additional details. On the day of my appointment, I was seen almost immediately. Danielle had given me 3 different designs that she had created herself, and let me choose which one I liked most. I only had one adjustment (the dates), and she happily accommodated that.The location is new, from what Danielle was telling me. It was clean, spacious, welcoming, and in a very quiet neighborhood. I was pretty impressed by it.Anyway, Danielle was so sweet and super friendly. This isnt my first tattoo, but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She held a good conversation and even updated me on her process with my tattoo.Overall, this place is definitely 5 stars! Would be going back again!!!
