Great shop. Fixed my son’s brakes on Memorial Day. Very reasonable prices. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable (owner has been fixing bikes before I was even born). In a day and age when even the big box stores are going out of business, hopefully places like this with personalized service continue to flourish.

I came in at around 7pm on a Friday desperately looking for a snowboard rental. Andre the owner was patient and an absolute sweetheart in fixing me up with a snowboard rental. He stayed and assembled my board way past closing time at 8pm. He is the epitome is someone who loves what they do and he truly cares about everyone who walks in the door. So happy to have stumbled upon this gem!

Walked in on a Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm when they close at 7 pm. Andre the tech stopped what he was doing and took a look at my bike and took it apart. The way he puts it i would not be able to give you a good estimate until I see whats wrong with it. Bike was ready in 2 days. Received a call for pick up. Exactly the cost that he said and took care of some other extras on site also, small but friendly mom and pop shop. Knowledgeable and passionate tech. Convienance hours. Reasonable pricing, wish I know him earlier. A must visit store in Ramsey. Thank you Andre

I came because I thought it would be a mom and pop place. Condescending employees from the get go. Andre was great but his helper? Andre get rid of him ASAP. He is bad for business. I don’t know why the employee was so confrontational. I came in happy as a bird. Left sad as a old dog needing epsom salts. Avoid if possible.

If youre local or even on Route 17 on the way up to the slopes, this is the place to snag your rentals. The convenience if not waiting in line at the mountain for equipment is so nice and they have equipment for kids and adults. The owner is the nicest person and has been in the business for quite a while. He did the fittings himself when I stopped in. Give yourself some time, as I didnt see anyone else in the store except the owner. So if there are other customers, there might be a wait. A little tough to spot as its in a nook off Main St. across from a small gas station.

The owner is so great and it is a pleasure to go in there…refreshing! No high pressure sales, just a honest good man with a passion for skiing that translates to a great experience! Rental for season very reasonable.

The best place to rent and buy ski boots and skies!

So I call Andre up at 7:30 pm and I tell him my wife is on her way over knowing that he has been there all day dealing with and just wants to get home since they close at 8pm. Well she walked in and is immediately treated like the Queen of England at 7:50pm! Any other place would have been like ok what do you want we are getting ready to close! NOT Andre, he took his time and fitted her with skis, boots and poles on the spot with a smile on his face the entire time. If you are in the market for Skis, snowboards or just need service done to your equipment DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I will Never be going to Ski Barn Again! Andre it was a complete pleasure dealing with you and I will continue to visit you again and again when ever I need your services. THANK YOU AGAIN! :)

Might have a smaller selection than other shops if youre buying new, but really nice staff and reasonably priced for service.
