The best experience we could’ve had! Our car stopped working and we were stuck on the left shoulder of the highway with a wait time of 4 hours from our insurance company with our dog in the car and no A/C. We received outstanding service and kindness from Big Tows Automotive in Ramsey, NJ. Our car was involved in a serious accident on December 22nd. We called Big Tows. From the time Charlie, the driver, arrived until we got the car back, yesterday, we have experienced nothing but service from them. They treated our vehicle as if it belonged to one of their own family. Louis, the shop manager, explained the process to us in complete detail and shepherded us all the way. Maggie took all of our calls and was most informative and courteous.There is no way I would ever use another body shop. The owners Riccardo and Monika made sure we were happy. We were. Broke down in Ramsey (Alternator). Needed a tow to Middletown, NY. They sent Nick my way. Dispatchers were very cool, Nick was excellent!! On time, prepared with charged battery pack, smooth driver (rode shotgun), backed the truck into a narrow driveway with not much room to work with......EXCELLENT!!👍🏽👍🏽

Just got my car back from Big Tows, this was my first time going there. I had a dent in my back bumper fixed and passenger side door fixed as well from a deer hit. Throughout the whole experience, Louis was so helpful and informative. My car came back looking better than when I first bought it! Wish I had before pictures, though the outcome was better than I ever expected.

I had a reasonably big dents and scratches on the drivers side doors of my car. I originally wasnt going to have it repaired but the car is only two years old. But Im glad that I picked Big Tows to do the work. The car came back better than I expected. It pretty much looks like a brand new car again. Great quality for a great price.

Monica was the best. Called her to tow my car today and said she would be there within an hour and was there on time. Luis is awesome. My daughter’s Jetta was demolished by a deer and he had it looking & running like new in no time. He’s the only one I trust working on my wife’s Porsche convertible: always finds & fixes the issues, never tries to upsell and leaves the car looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor, even when it’s just in for an oil change.

Excellent experience with Big Tows. When I placed the call it was answered in a couple rings...Jasmine was great and only took a few minutes to get the information down and the truck was on its way. My car had a dead battery and this outfit was unable to jumpstart it, which cost me an extra $100 in towing. My mechanic had no problem jumpstarting it and found that all the car needed was a new battery.I explained what happened to Big Tows and after 3 different conversations in which they told me there must be something else wrong with the car (there isnt--it runs fine with the new battery) they offered me a $40 credit against future services. Im not really planning on needing a tow or collision repair, so thanks for nothing.2 stars because the guy was on time and nice enough, but Im out $100 because he couldnt do a simple jumpstart.

Recently I was stuck with car on 17 N. I called Big Tow Inc. They came in minutes and were courteous and helpful. Nick the driver made me feel at ease and safe during this time. He assured me everything would be ok and he flat bedded my car to Big Tow Service Station where I was met by Dave the owner he was professional and very helpful and informative. There prices were excellent and the service was impeccable. I live abt 50 miles away but I would go back to use their services as they were very fair and the service was excellent. Fastest tow around! I was shocked when the driver pulled up just minutes after calling for a tow. It is nice to know that Big Tows will be there when you need them. Got us to a safe place and battled the NJ traffic like a champ. Very impressed!

I can’t say enough about how he helped me. In short, he had the brains to figure out what had to be done and did it. My water pump went out in Mahwah, NJ and mobile mechanic said 3,000 - 4,000 for repairs and that not including the tow or transfer of freight, I called BIG TOW and Monica was so very awesome and compassionate with my breakdown and she got it into her shop ASAP and was ready by the next evening for all under 2,000 I will be keeping there number on quick dial in my phone.

The repairs to my vehicle were done very well and quickly. The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, and keept me updated throughout the whole process.

This was back in 2018, but they helped out my bull hauler when his starter shorted out coming back down the Northway. Towed the truck and trailer full of cattle, had the starter replaced first thing in the morning, and he was on his way. Thanks guys!
