I was very happy with the customer service I received from Eddy at Sod Haus. I first talked with Eddie back in December when I was looking into putting in a lawn in my back yard. Even though my order was probably one of their smallest orders, Eddie still took the time to thoroughly talk about the choice of grass for my yard and how to prepare the yard and install and maintain the lawn. I put the order on hold as I was traveling for work but when I contacted Eddie again in March is remembered our conversation so we picked up where we left off. I ordered and paid and followed Eddies instructions for pick up (I offered to pick up) and it went seamlessly. For such small order, I was extremely happy with the level of customer care Eddie provided and was always sure to maintain contact with me via phone call, text, and email! Great experience and I highly recommend this business.

Eddie, of owner of Sod Hause took my order. I paid for the sod, but delayed delivery on sevral occassions over 3 months.. I called to several times to cancel the order, Eddies never returned my calls. I disputed the $2500 charge with American Express. Eddie responded with a forged receipt stating the sod had been delivered 10 days after my order. It never was delivered. Buyer beware.

Eddie at Sod Haus is not a reliable merchant. I ordered a pallet of sod, it did not arrive the day Eddie promised. Eddie said he would take off the delivery charge and deliver it first thing the next day. The delivery finally came as the last delivery of the day, and Eddie did not refund the delivery charge. I called multiple times and emailed, Eddie did not respond. Find a better vendor for sod!

Terrible website to buy from. I ordered sod for a job that I had 3 days ago and I showed up to the job, waited for it to arrive and it never came. I lost a lot of my own money for the sod and a contract that I had to complete the job. I tried calling but they never answered and the number keeps changing. I wasted a good amount of money and time. Do not buy from here. If I could add 0 stars I would definitely.

I contacted Eddie about purchasing Sod for my new home. He was knowledgeable and personable so I decided to order from him.Sounds great right? No.I received the sod and several pieces were cut very thin and when they were laid looked very bumpy on the surface. Ok whatever, I can live with that. After I laid the sod, I realized I had ordered too little and needed another 40-50 sq ft. I called Eddie back and he told me I could pick up the remainder of the sod the following day. He assured me it would be ready around 1pm and that he’d call me when it was ready. I took half a day of work and waited patiently for his call. Finally around 1230 he texted me that that had hit a snag and it would be at little late, around 3pm. 3pm rolls around and no call from Eddie, I texted him several times and he never responded. I tried calling him and again, no response. It’s been weeks and he has never returned my call or text. Now I’ll have to get the remaining sod from another seller.TLDR: Do yourself a favor and buy your sod from another company. You can probably get the same types and will have better customer service. Eddie should be ashamed that he has such poor business practices and doesn’t deserve your business.
