I’ve been following this company for awhile. Finally took the plunge and ordered a lounge set and pullover. I LOVE THEM. They’re both super comfy. The shipping speed was fantastic. And they’re always having really great sales. I definitely recommend trying them out!

Would not recommend ordering from this company, at least through the pre-order function, which seems to be a common theme. I pre-ordered a dress in April, and finally received the wrong product in August. It took me about a week to get a return label so I could send the dress back, after about four e-mail attempts. Their e-mail system barely works, and each e-mail you receive through the system directs you to an e-mail address that doesnt even exist (I sent about 6 e-mails to this very non-existent e-mail, thinking they were just ignoring me. Very frustrating).I think it is worth noting that I did speak with the owner on the phone, and she offered to send me a replacement dress immediately. She followed up the previous day to get me options. I was impressed by that. She told me that I could keep the dress I had, to make up for my obvious frustration, and she would send out the replacement immediately. Unfortunately, I hated the dress that I actually did receive, so went through the steps to send it back. Even more unfortunately, a replacement dress was never sent. It has been about 1.5 months since I was told a dress would be on the way immediately. When I reached out, she asked for the tracking # for the dress I had sent back, even though initially she told me I could keep it.I have received no follow up and have finally given up. Unfortunately I had not saved the tracking # on the dress I sent back, and hoped they would have a record of it, since they sent me the label.This company refuses to offer refunds, so I have not gotten my money back, do not have a dress, and do not have store credit, six months later. Its only about $45 that I am out, but I shouldnt have to chase this so hard. I am very disappointed with this company, and do not think I have ever felt less valued as a customer. I spoke with the owner directly, and she never followed up with me to make sure my issue was resolved. (My issue being I ordered a product and never received it, or any kind of compensation.)Oh and I also had a problem with the reservation system to speak with a customer service representative. Made an appointment and never received a phone call. They told me that they had tried to call but I never answered, but they had tried to call the day before my appointment and I was at work. I also never had a missed call, so I dont know if thats true.I hate to leave reviews like this, but I just want other people to be aware. Read the fine print on their website. It severely limits your flexibility as a consumer. No refunds, strict timelines. Its all on there. Read before you order.

I placed my order on September 3rd, with the understanding that it was a pre-order and that it would take 30 to 45 business days to arrive. What I did not expect was a lack of overall updates. I reached out to the company on October 24th and, again, on October 27th, to find out if there were any updates related to my order. It wasnt until I opened a case with PayPal that I finally received an e-mail and phone update about my order. My order, a Teutiful Disaster sweatshirt, finally arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, the quality of the sweatshirt I ordered wasnt worth the wait.

I was excited to see the semi-annual sale because I had been wanting to order things for a while. I am not plus size, but my body type makes me self conscious how “boutique“ clothing can look on me. I ordered a few swimsuits, a pair of shorts, a lounge set, and earrings. They came and seemed like pretty good quality. Only one of the swimsuits didn’t fit even after sizing up.Christmas in July sale got posted and I decided to order a few more things. After receiving those items, I felt like the quality reminded me of a cheaply made/priced website. I went to looking and MANY of the same items that I had seen on/purchased from Sept & Co were on this website too, but the Sept & Co prices were double/triple the price.It would have been different had the quality had been better from Sept & Co, but it felt the same as the items from the other website. The pro is that Sept & Co has a much faster shipping time, but I just hate that the price/quality is the same as the cheaper website.

The best, and I mean THE BEST, boutique you could ever order from. I dont usually buy from boutiques because they are expensive and they can seem sketchy sometimes. BUT this boutique is my favorite of all time. The owner and her team is so sweet and incredible. The clothes are amazing quality and beautiful! They are fast and well go over and beyond for every single person. You will not regret checking them out, except youll buy the whole store. Wanted to place a return. I could not figure out where. Emailed customer service stating I couldnt figure it out....they replied its on the website. Obviously I looked and thats how I got them. Messaged Instagram owner, reply yep its all on the website. Telling a customer to figure out themselves isnt a good practice. Why couldnt they just say here is the link or this is how. Its bad enough the pre-order took weeks and ended up being a polyester pullover. At this point I might just donate it to the trash can. (it made me pick 1 star to make a post)

Terrible company for pre orders. Said mine was delivered and never was. Went back and forth and said I didn’t want the order anymore. I see why influencers end their partnerships with them. Lack of response and communication. Not responding for over a month is unacceptable. I have had better communication from larger and busier companies. For a company that’s been around for a bit, the complaints are the same and the improvement is next to none. This is an area they can actually choose to improve on if they want to hold the level of service and courtesy they use to in order to get to where they are.

This boutique is honestly one of the best shops I’ve shopped at! I actually went there personally when visiting Raleigh and met some of the ladies who work there and they were the sweetest! Everything I buy is sized just how they promote it. Love their sizing as well I mean a 16/18 should be an XL and I love that! When I buy something that is actually in stock it literally ships out the next day! Still waiting on a couple pre-orders but when I have called about them I am given sweet and thorough responses about where the orders are. What more can you ask for in customer service? Okay so I found sept & co about 9 months ago and I cannot express how much this company has worked their butts off to improve every single day! Their shipping times have drastically improved, most in stock items now ship same day! The quality of their products are amazing and are reasonably priced. They have outrageously good sale, pretty often! And the staff... they are literally all AMAZING! I will admit there have been a few mistakes with some of the orders I’ve placed; however, they literally bend over backwards to fix the mistake, quickly, every single time! For a small, growing, business you really cannot pick a better company to support. I am embarrassed to admit just how many orders I have placed in the last nine months and will remain a loyal customer forever!

I ordered about a month ago; ordered a mix of in stock and pre-order items. I knew the pre-order items had a wait time of 30-45 days; however was unaware they would hold my entire order until the pre-order items were ready to ship. I emailed in two different occasions to ask about this and never got any response.My items came this weekend (38 days after I ordered; which was within the pre-order timeline; not within the in stock timeline) and I was less than thrilled. The quality of the materials is poor at best, one of the cardigans had a hole in it, and one of the items that was in stock when I ordered did not arrive; instead, I received store credit for it which is infuriating since, after my experience, I will never order from them again. I guess that’s probably why they don’t offer refunds… they would end up going out of business! Learned my lesson not to trust everything influencers promote without doing my own research.

Terrible experience with their pre order! I received the wrong jeans and then when I reached out they tired to tell me I didn’t handle it in a timely manner when I did exactly what their Email said to do if there were any issues! 2 months later still can’t get answer about jeans they still have for sale for pre order, but won’t send me, they decided to refund me a partial payment. Terrible absolutely terrible customer service. Clothes are over priced for not knowing if you’ll get what you paid for.

I’m in PA so I can only shop online but everything I’ve ever gotten (and it’s a lot 😂😅) has been amazing! So many of my favorite outfits and articles of clothing have come from this company. I’ve never had a single bad experience with customer service either. Everyone I’ve ever spoken with is so pleasant & so quick to respond! BUYER BEWARE!!! Ordered items in February 2021 and its middle of May 2021 and I have received NOTHING other than a few emails stating shipping is delayed. They took my money in February and wont refund except for store credit (but you cant get your items because there is always a 45 to 60 day delay). They even called to say they were shipping my items 2 weeks ago but would it be okay to ship a different color of a top. I say yes but still nothing has arrived.UPDATE: I finally got my items June 2021. In order to get them I had to accept 2 of my items in different colors than I originally purchased, otherwise, there was no promise of even getting them. They also sent me a free lounge set. Quality & fit of the items is middle of the road. Still wont purchase from them ever again.

Buyer Beware!!I “pre-ordered” in February spent over $100 and it is exactly two months later and I have not received anything. I sent multiple emails and they just say it’s in the policy which isn’t the case when you get your order confirmation. There are no refunds which I find ridiculous. Pre-Order was supposed to be shipped within 45 days. It has now been 72 days I have not received any part of my order which was over $100. Ive contacted the company twice and two weeks ago they said by order would be shipped out that week. No confirmation of shipping email or any word since then. I absolutely love this boutique! I’ve become obsessed to the point where I’ve shopped multiple times in a week sometimes. Everything is really good quality, they have a really good selection of sizes for all body types and also a good selection for occasion. I’ve bought work attire, casual weekend stuff, and evening wear. The best part is, the owner and girls that work there are AMAZING! I pre-ordered in April and still have not received any updates or my package. I have talked in the phone with two different people through the number listen on their website and I was told “it will be sent out next week” here we are June 16 and still nothing. I set up two customer service calls through their website and never got a phone call for either appointments. I really wanted to love this place. The orders that I have received were great! However, I ordered a swimsuit and kimono months ago, and never received the kimono. Customer service said they had no idea about a kimono, even with my confirmation email showing proof of me ordering, payment and confirmation. Ok, that’s fine... BUT, they refused to refund me my money, and now only offering a $7 credit... after I paid $28 for the kimono! Customer service is poor, and I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Immediately the person I spoke to was apologetic and said they had just recieved my items except for one. Still have not received my items. Over 60 days later...I have received phone calls from Candy and Katie herself. This is a nice practice but I do not want a gift card to fix a problem you created. I want my original items or I want my money back.It’s very obvious this company needs a lot of work.I purchase from many different boutiques and NONE of them give me issues like Sept & Co does.If you can’t get customers their items give them their money back.I honestly feel like they do everything they can to cover up how backed up they are and continually blame it on the pandemic. I am shocked to read the other poor reviews. Most sound like USPS issues that the company itself has no control over. USPS has had a lot of shipping issues this year, and I’ve had equally bad luck with big or small companies alike. As for my experience, there has been nothing but kindness, responses and wonderful products from this company. I love that they do pre-order as it’s better for the environment because there’s less waste. For a small company, they go above and beyond from service to product quality. I highly recommend!

I have been attempting to reach the company regarding an order I placed Feb 20th.At first I was informed via email that just the dress was in stock and both items would be sent when the suit was available.Then after calling two different times, I was informed that the suit had just come in, but they would send the dress while the suit label was being processed. The dress was received in mid May, and still have not received the swim suit.I have tried calling several times over the last 4.5 months to no avail as the number for Customer Care almost always rings thru to a computerized voicemail. I received an email offering 30% off and stating that the suit would be in the mail the week, of June 7th and it has yet to arrive. I would proceed with caution if pre-ordering anything from this company.The item I received was cute, and had my suit come, I may have had different feelings about this company. However, given the horrible customer service I received thus far, most likely will not be ordering again.

I placed a pre-order on February 3rd, fully aware of the Sept & Co.s 30-45 day wait time with pre-orders. Towards the end of this time I received an email stating that the order would be delayed and they would keep me updated.After waiting a couple of weeks for an update, I scheduled a call with customer service (because at the time, this was what the website said was the only way to get an order status) and they told me that the shipment had arrived that day and it would be shipping out that week. The customer service went down from there, since mid-April, I have tried scheduling three more calls with customer service. The first (mid-April) was cancelled 15 minutes before the scheduled time with no offer to reschedule, the next (around the beginning of May) the customer service rep told me (again) that it would be shipping out within the week, the last was scheduled for mid-June and I didnt receive a call at all.At the beginning of June, I also sent a customer service request through the website and got an automated reply that said the response would take up to 14 business days. I received no response. This week, I have tried calling and leaving messages on Monday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 30. Again, no response.I sent the company an email tonight (responding to my original confirmation email), but after reading the reviews on the BBB, yelp, and Google, I am assuming that the only way to get them to respond is through filing complaints and leaving negative reviews.I am very upset at the customer service (or lack thereof), and wish that there were more negative reviews on social media sites. Before I ordered, I looked on instagram and facebook and saw zero negative comments. Im shocked that a company that has so many bad reviews on google and a number of complaints with the BBB would have no negative comments or even comments from customers just trying to get someone to respond to them.The tone of voice in the responses to the customers comes off as gaslighting and victim blaming. The responses are extremely unprofessional. In addition, weve all had a really tough year, but they really need to stop blaming their shipping delays and lack of customer service on COVID. If you look at the reviews these issues went back far before COVID started.I would LOVE to have a full refund, but I realize the company policy states no refunds, only store credit. If they arent going to ship my item, then I would like that immediately, so I can order something else and wait months for it to arrive.

Every single thing I ordered took more like 3-4 months to get or I didn’t get them. I finally just used up my store credit on another pre-order that I ordered in February and it is just now shipping. As other people have said, I wanted to love this store. My mom added me to the Facebook group one day and I loved the idea of shopping on the live and picking things out right there and then until you realize it will be multiple months until you receive the items. I think this store and the owner do a very good job at the aesthetic side of the business but it is clear that a profit is more important to them than their customers. When people complain they are told they can contact the store for support but support is never given. When already upset with the store and the way they handle their business, they only give the option of store credit which for a while wasnt even applicable on the sales they do.Dont get me wrong this is a great idea - but the business model is off. The owner would rather post her glow ups and flaunt designer bags opposed to running a functioning business. The owner also buys countless dupes that rarely are pointed out as dupes - and usually manufactured in third world country with horrible working conditions. Dupes also take away from the fashion industry in more ways than one. It is bizarre to me that you could run a business and still try to profit off clear knock-offs.The owner and whoever else works here needs to realize that people dont want to just see aesthetically pleasing posts. They also want orders in a timely manner and their concerns to be heard. Stop trying to fix the problem with store credit because your business model is failing. If someone has been waiting months for an item, they should be refunded. It is plain and simple. I truly believe this store could be great if they thought more about their customers and the issues they are currently facing instead of posting another set of items that are now in stock to distract from the dumpster fire that is happening underneath them.Do not let a few good reviews fool you. I LOVE this place!!! The clothes that she sells are wonderful. Shipping did take awhile but to be honest with you I ordered clothes from an influencer and it told me that the shipping times will be longer. So I already knew!!! I have 3 tops and 2 pairs of jeans and they fit true to size! They are beautiful and comfortable and flattering on me. I am a size XL and they are the perfect fit and length. The ONLY downfall is that I don’t live closer so I could shop in store! The owner is very attentive to orders and her communication is wonderful. Move to texas so I can shop in store!!!

Ordered in October, received 0 communication from them until January saying they still didnt have my item at their warehouse but as soon as they got it they would ship it. I asked to cancel the order, they said they could do store credit, I responded the same day saying then just process the order. I got no response until a month later after I had to send them an email demanding my money back. Im giving up on them now as they just emailed me saying basically I was out of line for demanding my money. Its been 4 months I feel like my demand is justified. Terrible customer service, terrible policies, and terrible shipping wait time. I turned them into fraud department under item purchased, item never received.

Totally wasted my money!!! I ordered jeans and some shirts. I “pre-ordered”, which actually means they are waiting for very your cheap-made, over-priced items to come from China, so they can ship it to you. I paid over $50 for a pair of jeans that look like they came from Dollar General. I was sent the wrong size. It says to email them and then you have THREE days to exchange them. I emailed twice and called...no response. Never again, lesson learned. Stay far, far away!

They all have went above and beyond due to covid shipping issues which are out of your control. You literally called me on a Sunday 😳 we talked about my options and I ultimately decided to look for another item due to the possible unknown of my item arriving, which again is not your fault. Your girls then called me on Monday to follow up and actually gave me an additional in store credit for a promo item that was free to me for shopping, which you definitely did not have to do because it was a free item to me! Awesome customer service in my option, nothing you will get from big stores!

First, I really love this place! Ive seen a lot of reviews about issues with shipping and this has happened to me. My stuff has been delayed through no fault of theirs and Ive experienced it with other boutiques and even places like amazon. With my last issue, I received multiple coupons for 25-30% off my purchase during my wait, and the owner Katie herself even called me on my cell to explain the cause and apologize. I was given free gifts for my inconvenience, I felt that both Katie and Candy truly cared and wanted to make it right. As I said in my last review, I can only think of 1 or 2 other stores that truly have customer service like this and care about the customer and if theyre happy. This is hands down one of my favorite places to shop!

First of all, the ladies at Sept and Co are phenomenal. Super friendly and relatable. They are quick to respond when reaching out and obviously they have some of the cutest clothes! COVID put a wrench in everything of course but now that shipping carriers are getting caught up, my purchases have been well worth the wait!! I absolutely LOVE this boutique. Great selection of ready to purchase and preorder items. When a preorder item is taking longer than expected to ship the customer service team reached out. They do their best to keep customers satisfied even when shipments are delayed which is out of their control. The quality of items is also top notch and they are well made! I ordered almost $200 worth of items as Christmas gifts in the beginning of November. A few were pre-order but most were “in stock”.It has been almost 60 days and I haven’t gotten ONE shipping confirmation. Candy or whatever her name is says “we’re still waiting on those items to come in” how are you waiting for IN STOCK items to come in?! False business advertisement and where it says “30 day delivery quarantined” on their website is a complete lie.This company has no intentions of delivering your items to you in a timely manner nor do they even care if you ever get them.Y’all PLEASE stay away from Sept & Co. If I could give them a 0, I would. It is approaching day 90 and I still haven’t received my 3 items in 2 different orders. One order said delivered, but I never received it. They told me it was out of their hands now. The second order that I received last week was an order from someone in California, not mine. They were quick to send me a return label for that, but I now have been charged for my two orders I placed on September 6, 2020 yet have not received. They refuse to refund my money and/or cancel these orders. I have spoken to them by phone and sent several emails with 0 resolution. At this point, I have reported them to the BBB for their shady practices- basically stealing money from people.

Having my first order with this company in and it being almost two months with nothing to show but a bill and two emails unanswered I wanted to see what people were saying in their reviews. I came across several with the same issues. The companies response in one of the reviews was they have a new booking system on their site, you put in a time for them to call you about your delayed order and man were these gals on it! My call was scheduled for 9am which I received a call on the dot! She expressed her supplier issues and offered to get part of my order out today. Within minutes I received a tracking number.Super happy I read about the scheduling system and so happy with the customer service. You guys rock! Cant wait for my items. Thanks again

I have been following their page on IG for a while. I finally decided to order a couple of pieces through pre-order. (I think people fail to realize it’s called pre for a reason) But, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience.Even when shopping was delayed and orders had to be shipped out in multiple packages.. everything was great. I’m incredibly picky about the quality of clothes and I love every single item I’ve purchased from September & Co. Recently the retail industry and most small businesses have been hugely impacted by COVID 19 and delayed shipping times so some orders were delayed for weeks. My order from May was delayed and I was able to talk to customer service, I went in the store and they got my order figured out and clothes I love before a trip I went on. Kudos for the top notch service even in these tough times! This is a small mom-owned business and the quality of the trendy clothes is amazing and I shop here every season to refresh my wardrobe!

Meh. Clothes are good quality, but they use WAY too many filters so the colors of things I ordered weren’t like what I saw online. Still cute, but just not what I wanted and probably would have passed on a few of the things I ordered. There’s really no good description or pictures of just the clothes and it seems like they’re trying to boost the influencer instead of the clothes. Prices and fit of the clothes seem to be all over the place too. Some items are very reasonably priced and true to size while other things are way over priced and wacky sizing. Although the store DOES warn you about long shipping times, I feel like all I see on Instagram is how they’re adding more influencers (“ambassadors“) or more inventory instead of figuring out how to get the item shipped quicker than 45 days. Overall, clothes are adorable and well made, but beware of color differences and inconsistent sizing and order appropriately because the seasons will change by the time your clothes come.

Ive purchased many things from Sept & co for years! Since they started and were operating out of Katies house. I have a lot of positive things to say but especially how the operation has been going the last year or so. Any confusion I have had has been by my own fault. (Preorders take a bit longer to come in than in stock, so if your wanting something immediately, understand that preorders are not what you choose) With in the last year I have made several orders and I literally receive the items in about 3 days. Theyre almost as fast as Amazon! Also, the communication is out of this world. The girls who are holding down the fort there are so responsive and informative and extremely helpful. New Items are added almost daily and they cater to all sizes. Shout out to Candy for her awesome customer service this week!PS: After reading several reviews accusing all the positive review to be friends of Katies, I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know, I have never met Katie. Ive been a follower or September & Co since its early Facebook Group days. After several issues with incredibly late items or other issues with orders that were only fixed with store credit and never an actual refund, I stopped ordering for a while. Having customers pay for clothing items and then waiting from anywhere between 2 weeks to over 3 months (sometimes way more) to receive them is a poor buisness model, especially when the clothes are out of season by the time they are delivered.I decided once they started selling more in-stock and quick-ship options that Id give them another try. Many of these also took a while to ship. After another hiatus, I recently ordered something that was guarenteed to ship in 10-15 days. After not hearing anything for over a month, I called and asked and was told because of Covid, it was delayed but they had received them and I should get a shipping notification within a few days. I was annoyed - dont make guarentees you cant actually guarentee (This was in April, Covid-19 was not new). After another week and a half with no contact, I called again to find out that enough product wasnt delivered and I should have gotten an email - but didnt. I also checked on an order from May 1st that was posted as In-stock but still hasnt shipped yet. I understand you are probably short staffed, but taking over a month is ridiculous.Katie seems to be a well meaning business owner, but she tends to attack people and post publicly about how upsetting it is to hear negative things when shes working so hard. People wanting their items on time or to be refunded their money instead of receiving store credit is a fair complaint, and they dont deserve backlash for constructive critisism. We can all appreciate that owning your own business is tough, but your customers still need to come first. When you get behind processing orders, take a break from new orders and deal with it instead of hosting buying sprees and falling further into the hole. Your customers will understand. Facebook Live videos of you crying are unprofesional. I understand people can be mean, but that is part of working in the customer service field.Some suggestions: 1. Take time to catch up instead of posting more stuff you are unable to fulfill in a timely manner. 2. Invoices shouldnt take days to be delivered - find a more timely way to send these out so they can be paid in a more timely manner. This would be benefiical for you and for customers. 3. Stop making excuses when there are complaints, just fix the problem and take responsibility. 4. There is 0 reason for a business to shame customers in a public manner.

I ordered 2 separate times from Sept. and co for the 1st time ever...Once the end of October and the 2nd early November. All items were pre-order so I knew it would take a bit longer than normal for my items to get here! The beginning of December I called just to see if I could get an update with my orders and Candy (I believe) checked into my account and went to find that all my 1 of my 4 items were in and filled my order and sent them out that day! She was amazing to talk to/work with! She apologized for it taking so long which she didn’t need to as everyone is having shipping delays this year! I got my tracking notice later that day and within a week or so my items arrived & loved them all!I will definitely be ordering again! 💜

When I visited the store, no one that was working acknowledged me or asked if they could help me find anything. I saw an employee at the back of the store, but she was on her phone most of the time. I had found a couple items that I wanted to purchase, but the girl was still too busy on her phone. I put the items back and spent my money else where. Not to mention the store was kinda messy. I wont be back. Please acknowledge your customers. I guess my business didnt matter to them.

I purchased several items from a pre order, not only was it beyond the expected 45 business days to receive but when it finally shipped, my package said “ delivered “ and it was not. I reached out to the company and they responded “ it’s all over our site we are not responsible for lost packages” this company is a complete joke and will steal your money! If I could take away stars I would! I wish I read all the reviews before making a purchase from this company.

This company is an absolute joke. I’ve ordered multiple things on preorder that took MONTHS to receive or I just never received them. They won’t give money back so you have to use store credit to order clothes you either wait months for or never get...it’s a vicious cycle. I’ve now ordered 2 items and received the wrong size for which I had to pay for shipping to return and receive my new item. I have lost over $100 to this awful company and they refuse to give me my money back. If you want to order from them, do yourself a favor and just light your money on fire.

I ordered nearly 3 months ago and went back and forth with employees the entire time. They never had an answer as to when my order would ship, sent and email stating they had no idea, and then they just stopped responding altogether. Their policy states they will credit your account if the delivery goes outside of the promised time frame but that did not happen. Employees and owner are rude and difficult. I filed a case with PayPal to get my money back last week and mysteriously my package shows up within the week. Sizing and quality are terrible! I ordered two items in the same size and one is incredibly small and one is incredibly big. The shirt is see through, stitching is off, a complete waste of money and time. I think it goes without saying that I will never purchase anything from this boutique again. They are dishonest and you probably will never receive your order.

UPDATE 2/10/21: Three weeks since my original review below, I still had no update to the status of my order. I had received a very unprofessional response from customer service that I was ungrateful for the coupon for a future purchase. When I inquired a specific name of the employee I was dealing with (email was simply signed “customer service”), I received no response at all. Yesterday, I sent yet another inquiry about the status of my order, with mention that I was demanding a full refund if my order had not yet shipped, would be filing a complaint in BBB, and a dispute with my credit card company against a fraudulent business charge. I also noted I would be willing to take further action with all other unsatisfied customers, in the event my issue was not immediately resolved. And oddly enough, I got a shipping notification this morning. No response from customer service still. We will see if my order arrives, and if all pieces of my order are included. I also find it peculiar there is an influx of 5 star reviews from a week ago. I advise everyone to stay as far away from this business as possible.I placed an order 10/11/20, understanding the pre-order terms and conditions. At day 45, I inquired about the status of my order, only to receive an email stating I must not have bothered to read the company policy on preorder items. Katie and and candy both reached out, and as a business owner myself, I was understanding of the delays due to the pandemic and holiday season. However, I was told I would receive weekly updates on my order moving forward, and have not received a single one. 8 days ago, I inquired again, and just finally received a response stating they STILL do not have my items, nor will they be receiving everything from their supplier, but provided a $25 coupon for my future purchase. It’s been nearly 100 days since I ordered, with no estimate of when they will even receive (some of) my items for them to then ship to me. $25 credit for an order of $90 worth of clothing, where I won’t even be receiving everything I ordered, if I ever receive anything at all. Yes, the pandemic is causing unprecedented times, but as a business owner, you should then make unprecedented exceptions to your store policies and provide refunds when requested.

Do not shop here! You will wait months on end to receive anything! I waited almost 3 months for multiple items that claimed to be “in stock” if an item is in stock it means you have in the store, and it should not have taken that long. My sister has also ordered bathing suits from this store and it has been now 4 months and she has not received a thing so they are now out of season and she can not even wear them. When she emails customer service or whatever they call themselves they keep telling her to wait and her items will be sent out the next week priority mail and again she never received anything. She has also asked for a refund and the customer service tells her they are not authorized to do that and they will have to ask the owner and do you think she has heard anything back from the owner, no she has not so we will be filing a major complaint with the better business bureau.

Zero stars if allowed. All of the negative stories are unfortunately true and accurate. The owner will see the poor reviews and then take the time to explain sad story of COVID or employee turnover or moving locations as their issue with customer service but as the years have gone by, the issues are still the same. Then you will be berated if you voice concerns over their faulty preorder model and inability to promptly respond to inquiries. Even if you shop in store to buy on the spot (the only way to avoid the scam) the service is lacking and the bad experiences far outweigh their inventory which can be found on Jane and other venues at a lower cost with more consistent experience. Watch, there will be incentives next for positive reviews but that will never change the negative model which this store operates under.

Worst boutique I’ve ever dealt with. Extremely high pricing for the quality of clothes you get. Extremely slow shipping. Extremely rude management.The owner is young and entitled. The worst customer service I have ever received. I joined the Facebook group and made the biggest mistake of placing my first order. It’s been 3 months and it still has not arrived and I have no updates on my items. I wish I would have read these reviews. Don’t let the few good reviews fool you... they obviously have to be from friends of the owner. You will most likely never receive your order and if you ask about it you will get a rude response or no response at all.Please just do not make the same mistake that myself and obviously plenty of other people (from the looks of these reviews) have made.Shop anywhere BUT Sept & Co.

I’ve ordered a few times from September & Co. and don’t get me wrong, the length of time for pre-orders can seem like forever but they are very up front about expectations for timing. I also have seen improvements around shipping time (even with the pandemic causing delays). Recently, they did a customer survey where I shared how one time I received an order that wasn’t correct (1 item of 7 or 8 that was the wrong size). I chose not complain at the time because it wasn’t the end of the world and didn’t want to have to wait for another pre-order waiting period. I mentioned this in the customer survey and one of the girls took the time to call and check in on what I wrote. Totally unnecessary but so appreciated and shows how important they take customer feedback. There will always be people who complain but this company is clearly trying to out customers first and constantly working to improve the experience for customers!

September and Company has very clear policies on items that are Pre-Order. I ordered in October 2020 knowing it could take 45 business days (not counting weekends/holidays) for my items to ship. When I submitted an inquiry, they were very quick to respond letting me know one of the pre-order items never arrived to them. It was a free item I received with purchase during a promotion, so Candy offered to give me a credit for something of the same full price of the item. I chose a new item, and she shipped it out with my original purchase. The policies are very clear. They cannot help if they have difficult receiving the item from the manufacturer and/or if there are shipping issues from their business to your home. They were very kind and helpful and made the situation right.
