Capitol Smoke is a dope spot for any smoker of any kind. They’ve got basically everything you’re looking for, and at a great price too. If a price seems a little too high for something you really want, ask them what they can do about the price; sometimes, depending on the item, they might be able to help you out!

This place is very amazing. I really enjoy their cigar selection. The only thing I truly have a problem with is the employees. I have come in and bought cigars and sat down to smoke it, and all I can hear the woman with darker hair talking about the men she has been sleeping with. I understand this is a head shop, so its very laid back atmosphere but when I come in to smoke and do some work I dont really want to hear this woman talking about who they have slept with. Its not a good look at all. Other than that the selection of cigars is phenomena & theyre are very welcoming!!

Capitol Smoke has an excellent selection of glass bowls, bongs, cigars and other smoking products. Their staff is kind and helpful, and they will help you find the product youre looking for. Everything is reasonably priced and Capital Smoke is a very popular place, so some things go off the shelf quickly. They restock often, so if you cant find what youre looking for the staff will let you know when it should be in. Best head shop on Raleigh!

I love the people here! Capital Smoke is more than just a Vape/Glass store, they host live music sometimes, which I found out thanks to the helpful lady with fun glasses and black hair! You can just tell that she, and the other employees really want to make you feel welcome! Also, the CBD pre-rolls are 🙌

Ill give this place one more try after Ive been vaccinated and when Covid slows down. I wanted this place to be my go to cigar lounge as there are few choices in Raleigh but they choose to not provide a public bathroom. Im not interested in walking next door and using another businesss facilities just because they choose not to fix their bathroom. Kinda hard to hold it in for 2 hours while enjoying a cigar. They fixed their windows when they were busted last summer, not sure why a bathroom isnt a priority.Most of the employees here have been above and beyond fun to be around and helpful. One lady was pretty miserable and off putting. Humidor does not have the quality of other shops although this place specializes in other products.Please fix your bathroom and Ill be back.

A dream come true, where employees love their job, and everyone strives to bring the best products and service to this busy center of downtown. New products weekly, some products sell out fast but are always quick to do their best to restock. Want to stay on the cutting edge but dont want to pay Hillsboro street prices, this is the spot. From headys to cheap chillums, from cbd to kratom, anything and everything you need. Need something they dont? Just tell them!! They really care and can tell you how they can go about making you happy!

The staff was nice and helpful but i went to buy a disposable device and i went on the website it has on the packaging to check to see if it was authentic, turns out it is not and they didn’t give me a receipt with my purchase so therefore i can not return it. It is still in all the package it came in, i am just afraid it isn’t safe to consume.

I don’t normally take time to review places but The customer service was hands down the best I have ever received. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to make customers happy but this place went above and beyond! The man at the counter, Jack, was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the products to me so I could make a decision for myself. I will absolutely be returning!

Best Italian restaurant in Raleigh. A quaint and cozy atmosphere. A place that makes you feel lake you are at home with Friends and Family. The food is so amazing. You must ask for the fish of the day. I have never been disappointed.

AWESOME FIRST FRIDAY location w/ live music, live glassblowing, and free keg beer (after providing proper identification of course). there is a large humidor with a wide selection of cigars and Capitol Smoke is also one of the few places to purchase cigarettes near the warehouse district.Capitol Smoke is so choice... if you have the means, I highly recommend stopping by.

Very kind and honest staff. Not a wide selection of vapor products, which is what I shop for, but guy behind the counter was willing to show me what they had and understanding when I told him I may go to another shop. I go in periodically to see if they have anything new in my section, but never find what Id be looking for besides maybe some juices (which they have the higher end juices at reasonable prices. A++ for that). Definitely not disappointed in the store or staff at all though. Rather satisfied with the fact that they dont try to make me buy anything that I dont really want. Would definitely recommend for a smoker, just not for a vaper.

I buy most of my cigars here.North Carolina has really expensive cigars due to taxes, but their prices are quite reasonable. The staff is also extremely helpful.

They have a nice selection of cigars and accessories. Customer service there was very below my expectations. So there is no area to smoke your cigars. They did not have ashtrays or suitable cutters for the cigars for customers purchasing cigars. This is a place where you come pick up your cigars and tobacco and leave it is not a smokers lounge. And I would not recommend this place to friends or family.

Recently visited the shop to pick up a new chillum. I found an awesome one with an opal inside the glass. Found out it was a signature of the artist at the shop and many of his pieces also have one. The shop looks like it has everything youd expect to find and more. The only downside is finding parking, but after around 6 you can park in the back. Its the tiny street on the right just past the shop.

Just simply amazing!Not only did they have friendly & professional staff that are knowledgeable in this respectful field, but the establishment itself, is like a home. I mean, I have never seen another Tobacco shop that is as inviting as Capital Smoke.They not only have a wide variety of amazing glass pieces, but they got 3-Way Chess with a sit down lounge and a little garden to make the atmosphere seem refreshing. Walked in and the dude didnt say one word to me the whole time. It was my first time here so assistance wouldve been cool but whatever I guess. The glass pieces are way over priced, and when I bought a bowl the guy said these dont last very long, and when I replied with Im not spending $80 on something half the size and that holds half the amount, he literally replied with, I guess man . Will never go back.

Its a cool place. Friendly staff too. I just really wish they would let you test the different e-liquids, but not all places do that unfortunately. I always like to know what Im buying though.

I have been here a few times and I agree with the other reviews that the employees do not really seem too concerned about providing good customer service. The selection of glass is pretty decent and the store is nice but this does not make up for a lack of customer service. Also looking at the other negative reviews (minus the cigar incident one) it is clear that the owner would rather reply with sarcastic and childish comments than apologize for crummy service. I am not an expert here but that is a terrible way to retain customers and bring in new ones.

They have wonderfully made In-house glassware! Plenty of your vape and tobacconist accessory needs available! A nice selection of other headshop products and accessories! I really enjoy going here! I can only give it 3 stars, though, because Im a cigar smoker and they are really lacking in their cigar selection. Not lacking in quality of selection but in quantity of brands. They have a large walk-in humidor for cigars and well humidified. Yet it doesnt feel as though they are using more than 30% of the usable space. Being a cigar smoker this part of the shops services is more important to me than the other well known products and selections they provide. And they are very knowledgeable in almost every product that they carry. Cigars not so much. I still recommend them to any cigar smoker I meet while downtown Raleigh since they certainly have the convenience factor of being in walking distance of just about everywhere else while downtown.

Good sized walk in humidor (mostly empty) with a small but fair selection. More of a head shop with an extreme selection of paraphernalia...I would not recommend it for the serious cigar aficionado.

Very unhelpful, actually made us leave the store. I dont know a lot about the store, or about cigars in general, so I was hoping for some friendly education on a Sunday afternoon. This is a absolutely not the place to go if youre an amateur looking to enjoy a cigar or to learn more about them. I was driven from the cigar room and actually followed into the street and told not to come back. Dont worry, I wont be back. If youre looking for a cigar, I recommend Glenwood Ave.

The selection seemed great, but the attitude from the clerk was sub-par. He seemed annoyed and did not express the knowledge of the product that I expected. It turned out they were out of what I needed, so when I asked where I could find a shop that did, he refused to tell me... Kind of understandable, but also smug. I will never go back to this establishment because of the service, not the merchandise. In contrast, the shop that had what I sought provided the opposite experience. Helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Go to Hillsborough street if you want friendly service.....

Went in and bought a vape pen, within a week the battery stopped heating the coil. When I took the battery back, I was told that it indeed was not working (thanks guys) and that the shop did not do refunds or exchanges. I was just looking for replacement of a faulty product, and was pretty much told it was my problem. Also agree with the earlier review that the staff dngaf. Was recommended to go there by friends, cannot see myself going back, there are better options in town with better customer service.

Widest selection of smokeshop in store products, Ive seen in a while. Greeted at the door with personalized recommendations, most important (to me) they carry a nice range of CBD products from gummies to tinctures to lollipops oral syringe tinctures vape cartridges and more. Great service and deal surely will return for more CBD!!!Edit: they are no longer carrying CBD products. For this reason I have dropped 2 stars otherwise they have a wide selection of bowls bongs grinders and other various tobacco products such as wraps/papers rollers etc
