I had the BEST experience at Gilded! I worked with Susan and cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. She was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. The store is so cute with private rooms and she had a wide variety of dresses to try on! I showed her pictures of dress styles I was interested in and she was able to find ones that fit my taste perfectly. I said yes to the dress at Gilded thanks to Susans help! My bridesmaids and I highly recommend Gilded for anyone looking for a wedding dress.

I found my wedding dress at Gilded and absolutelyLoved it. The whole vibe is relaxed but still attentive. They had a wide variety of dresses that came in a range of prices. I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted and they made it super easy to try on a variety of styles to help me figure out what I liked. Ended up with an Anais Annette dress that was perfect for me And I received many many compliments on it on the big day.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. 1) The studio is setup to have different suites to accommodate a bride and her family, which was fantastic. 2) Their selection suited to plus size women, which hasnt been true at the other stores I visited. 3) Susan went above and beyond to help me find the right dress. Of the bridal shops that we went to, Gilded spent the most time understanding the vision and working to realize it within budget. They understood what challenges a plus sized bride had and that making a plus sized bride beautiful wasnt upsizing a dress designed for a size 2. They spent the time and were adding options rather than trying to restrict how many dresses we could see. Good job, Susan!

I went to Gilded on a recommendation from my planner and from the moment I walked in, I knew this was my place. It is a beautiful showroom with rows and rows of exquisite dresses from designers around the globe. They have multiple sample sizes, which was a relief after squeezing into small samples at previous shops. I worked with Heather to try on several dresses and she was patient and gave me good advice throughout my visit. When I found the one, she stepped me through the process and was in touch to let me know the status of my dress until it arrived. When it came in, I worked with Susan to try it on and we discussed alterations and veil options. Susan gave my good recommendations for alterations for my dress and my bridesmaids dresses which I bought elsewhere (they focus on bridal gowns). I found a veil that I liked but Susan, being an expert in her field, pointed out some details I missed and recommended a veil designer that could custom match the incredible bodice beading of my dress. She was spot on and I loved the veil we created together. Shopping for your gown can be stressful with the miles of choices that you have shop after shop. The ladies at Gilded are a breath of fresh air, making you feel like dress shopping with a friend rather than just another appointment. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Gilded!

Gilded is absolutely everything a bride could want in a dress-shopping experience. It is truly amazing that such a large collection can be so impeccably curated. The boutique is serene and lavish - I became a princess in a magical wonderland of beautiful fabrics, plush rugs, and champagne. All of the Gilded staff are incredibly supportive, kind, and creative - we assembled my dream look, from the crown of my head to my hem, and I am so excited to walk down the aisle! Susan has been such an amazing asset to my wedding experience. I went to a few different bridal places and had felt completely underwhelmed with the help I had received. Gilded Bridal was the 8th bridal shop I went to and my 12th and 14th appointments of my dress buying journey. After many failed attempts at finding the dress back home in Austin over the holidays, I decided to give the Raleigh area a try. Gilded came recommended to me by my boss and I was immediately impressed by the selection of designers listed on their website. I was cautiously optimistic for my first appointment.I met with Jensen who works at Gilded full-time and is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She was the total opposite of some of the consultants I worked with at other shops who were clearly doing this as a side gig or a means to an end. Jensen pulled some of the gowns I had pre-requested but also walked me through their entire, expansive inventory and made suggestions as we went.We pulled a lot of the dresses I thought I wanted (full lace, fit and flare), but my bridesmaid (who clearly knows me better than myself), insisted I try a more simple crepe gown. It was the very first one I ended up trying on and throughout the rest of the appointment (10-15 gowns later), I kept saying how much I liked the simple one more. Jensen was so so patient with me, spending over 2 hours selecting dresses, walking me around the store, and pairing veils with my frontrunner dress. However, I simply wasnt convinced it was my dress... After all, it was so different from what I thought I wanted.A week and a half, and a failed shop experience later, I returned to Gilded to try on my favorite dress as well as a few others. Jensen suggested I try on new dresses first and come back to my frontrunner at the end. Boy, did that trick work! As soon as I put back on that dress my posture relaxed and something along the lines of I mean yeah, this is my dress came out of my mouth.Yet, I was afraid of commitment. And once again, Jensen was SO patient. She explained all the possible customizations, what I could do in alterations, and played around with more veils and accessories with me. At one point I felt so overwhelmed I just asked her what to do. She with absolutely no pressure, explained how my behavior was different in this dress and that she knew it was the one since my last visit.Between her confident statement and my bridesmaids tears, I decided to finally bite the bullet!I truly cannot recommend Gilded, and specifically Jensen, enough! They have a great selection and above and beyond customer service. Their dresses fall within a reasonable price range and they have everything from ballgowns to boho slips and everything in between. They make you feel special, calm, and confident. I cant thank them enough for all that they did for me!

I went to Gilded Bridal for their annual sample sale and had such a fun experience. The showroom is gorgeous along with all of the dresses. I picked a couple of dresses out and the first one I tried on ended up being the one. I actually ran into my old friend Alison who was there helping out. She helped me try the dress on and paired it with the perfect belt. Susan, the owner, came in and was extremely sweet. She gave great advice on how to alter the dress since Im on the shorter side. I cant wait to go back to pick out my accessories.

Purchasing my dress from gilded was a dream experience. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a delicious smell and a wonderful ambiance. Its like the anthropology of bridal shops. The selection is stunning. My favorite part was that it was not overwhelming. My consultant was Heather and she was wonderful! So knowledgeable and really put my mind at ease with my decision. Go here to buy your wedding dress! The dressing rooms are the best Ive seen (private and really spacious) and the dress selection is unmatched by any in the area. I found a Alexandra Grecco dress here for my wedding and Gilded got a sample in from the designer for me to try on in store even though they didnt have it in stock. Their sized me for a dress and recommended split sizing - when it came, it fit like a glove and needed very little alteration. They also asked the designer to raise the neckline for me and I was so happy with how it turned out. I had the most amazing bridal experience at Gilded! The shop is beautiful and the staff is incredible. I specifically worked with Heather and Susan who both couldn’t have been better! The shop had a no pressure environment (I went to BHLDN before coming back to get my dress to make sure it was the one) and ordering with them was a breeze. They were knowledgeable, easy to get in touch with, and timely throughout the entire process plus they recommended a great place to get alterations. I was married 2 weeks ago, and somehow my garment bag got lost at my wedding venue. I reached out to Gilded, and they gave me another one free of charge! If you’re in the Raleigh area and getting married, this is THE bridal shop to go to (and worth traveling to if you’re not local :)).

I want to start out by mentioning that I did not end up purchasing my dress here, but I still wanted to share my experience for other brides. I am a plus size bride and I have been struggling to find something that fit my vision (vintage, lace, bohemian). I am a visual thinker and I was awful at articulating my vision. These ladies were so thoughtful and wonderful in trying to help me find my dress. At one point in time we were piecing together three different dresses so that I could actually see the possibility. The dressing rooms are huge and lovely. I appreciate all the time they put into helping me. For the longest time, the dress we pieced together was my top choice. It was only after a random trip to a shop back home in WI that I found my dress.

Jensen guided us through the process so well! Lovely dresses in all styles and we found the perfect one without feeling pressured.. We are so pleased!

I had the most amazing experience at Gilded. It was the first store I went to in Raleigh to try on dresses, and Susan made me feel right at home. I had a vision in my mind for what I wanted, but since I hadnt tried on dresses Susan helped me pull a variety of different dresses. She was very respectful of my budget as we were going through and looking at dresses, making me feel really comfortable. Even though my appointment was late on a Friday, she was patient with me and very helpful as I tried on dresses. Also, the dressing rooms are really well designed and made the experience feel very private. I went to 3 or 4 other stores in Raleigh and it was my best experience by far. I ended up finding my dress here and would highly recommend the store to any future brides.

Gilded Bridal exceeded all my dress shopping expectations. They had no qualms about the sizing and never said “this is your section” It was such a comfortable and exciting experience! They made calls to designers before showing me different options that were available in order to offer me something closer to what I was envisioning. This is the best little bridal shop around!! I use to live in Raleigh but moved to Charlotte and while visiting one weekend I saw the dresses in the window and knew I had to come back. I worked with Heather while I was there and she is seriously the most amazing person ever! She was extremely understanding of my family situation and worked with me both times I had to come up there. She was extremely patient and supportive through everything. Plus, literally everything I explained to her that I wanted to found for me. She never pressured me to go over my budget and even if I found a dress that I thought I loved that was way over my price range, she helped talk me off that cliff and found a dress I loved even more. They will seriously go out of the way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. They are seriously some of the sweetest person around and if you haven’t scheduled a fitting for a dress yet you seriously should!

I had the perfect dress shopping experience at Gilded Bridal. Susan was so helpful in arranging my appointment, and Heather was an incredible consultant to shop with. Gilded is amazing!! This was the 7th bridal shop I went to between Wilmington and Raleigh, yes thats right 7.... Gilded is beautiful; so clean and smells amazing. Susan was a doll. She was very helpful and made the experience even better with champagne. You have your own (very large) private room with a curtain for the bride to try on dresses privately. I was not able to pick up my dress from the store due to COVID closures but Susan had it overnighted to me free of charge.

I loved my experience at Gilded. I was worried about how it would be because I’m plus-size, but my consultant (Heather, I think?) made me feel SO comfortable, relaxed, and special. She even looked at my Pinterest before I arrived and started off by showing me some dresses she thought I would like (and I did!). I found a dress I loved but wanted to show my mom, and I was able to come back the next day. The consultant was so patient with us. The atmosphere in there is amazing too. I ended up buying a dress somewhere else because of cost, but if you have a budget over $2,000, this is the place to go. Seriously.

Im so glad I had the opportunity to consult with Heather. She completely understood my needs and what I was looking for and offered many suggestions for how the dresses I tried on could potentially be adapted by the designers they work with, which was very helpful in making a decision. I had visited about 6 other salons in Raleigh and other cities and Gilded Bridal was by far the loveliest shopping environment I encountered. The salon itself is really beautifully designed and dressing rooms are completely private from other areas of the shop. I would highly recommend shopping here.

The team listened to what I was interested in and helped guide us to styles that matched. They are also helpful with accessories, including bridal belts, hair, and veils. This was the third salon I visited, and wow it was the absolute best. Susan was so wonderful to work with and so accommodating! Susan helped me by mixing and matching multiple dresses, and did a great job at keeping us under budget. She listened to all of my opinions on the dresses and helped me nail down my thoughts. I wont be buying my dress from them, which I am actually really sad about. Susan at Gilded Bridal was hands down amazing! I met her at a west elm bridal event. She was warm and personable and her collection of dresses was beautiful. Susan was incredibly accommodating - my work schedule can be crazy and I dont get many days off and so she kept the store open late on a friday evening for me and a few friends. Finding a dress can be stressful but she made it fun and easy!Fast forward a few few months to our fitting - the store itself was beautiful and Susan was as warm, generous, and professional. She had a huge range of dresses that were unique and beautiful. Gilded Bridal is everything. Everything! I looked for months. I went to four different places. I tried on so many dresses. Yes, maybe I was being TOO picky but I wanted that perfect bride feeling. Then I came to Gilded and met with Susan. AMAZING shop! Very good selection of quality gowns and a wonderful store set up that offers brides plenty of room and privacy in beautifully decorated dressing rooms. Susan was extremely kind and and graciously spent 3 hours helping me try on dresses without once making me feel rushed. I am a larger bride and Susan was able to clip each of the dresses in the back very nicely so that I could still get a good feel for how the dress would look in my size. By far the best experience I had while searching for a dress! You will not find a more kind and patient store owner than Susan!

I cant say enough nice things about Gilded Bridal! As a plus size bride, I was very anxious about going to a shop that didnt specifically cater to those sizes. The consultant I worked with was completly understanding, and immediately eased my anxiety, saying they had a varitey of sizes and plenty of tricks to trying on dresses. I was able to try on a very wide variety of dresses, there were no high pressure sales tactics, and it was a wonderful experience!
