I had the MOST amazing experience with Coastal Knot in Raleigh. First of all, they made a COVID-safe appointment very enjoyable and the personalized experience you get here is like no other. The small boutique feel and appointment requirement allows you a ton of attention from the ladies that work there. Amber did an amazing job at pulling dresses that I had no idea I would love, and she was so sweet and supportive the whole time. I found my dress here, and they were very open and transparent about the timeline of the process the whole time. The timeline ended up being even better than what they predicted! Then, when I took my dress to a DIFFERENT local tailor who really messed up an important part of my dress, I went back to Coastal Knot and they went above and beyond to fix the error that was made, carting my dress to and from their Wilmington location where their personal tailor is located. Stephanie was absolutely PHENOMENAL the whole time, reassuring me throughout the process and always being willing to answer any questions I had. Amanda the manager was also really great the whole time, helping this whole process happen. By some miracle, their tailor was able to completely fix an error I thought was irreversible just in time for my wedding, and I am eternally grateful that I chose Coastal Knot for my wedding dress. I can’t say enough good things about Coastal Knot. They truly care so much about making their clients feel welcomed, comfortable, beautiful, and taken care of. Every single person who works here is incredible. The same is true for their Wilmington store. I’m so grateful I chose Coastal Knot for my wedding dress. I really enjoyed the dress shopping process with Coastal Knot, and would highly recommend looking for your dress with them.I went to their Raleigh location, and went by myself having my family living in NJ. I worked with Stephanie who was SO helpful, and understanding. Dress shopping can be overwhelming, but their showroom was cozy and inviting, I made myself at home. I came in with a specific designer in mind that they carried (Enzoani), and long story short I found my dress. I didnt buy that day, and Stephanie didnt pressure me to. She wrote down my style of dress and veil, and said think about it. I tried a few more stores and dresses, but ultimately came back to Coastal Knot to try on that same dress and veil, which ended up being the one.If you are looking for a relaxing, and meaningful shopping experience with professional stylists, I would go to Coastal Knot!

By far the best selection in the area (Raleigh)! Stephanie was such a pleasure to work with, she had many options already pulled when I got there from the styles I was interested in. Stephanie made the process so easy and comfortable, and my Mom and I had so much fun working with her. There was no pressure to make a decision during the appointment. Coastal was the first boutique we went to and we had a feeling the third dress I tried on was the one, but to be sure we went to several other boutiques the next day but could not find a dress that would top the one. Stephanie and Coastal Knot Bridal made every brides nightmare turn into a dream come true! Long story short, I was 3 weeks away from my wedding with a dress that was way too big. After I explained my circumstances they were able to fit me into a busy schedule within a few hours. Stephanie paid great attention to what I was looking for, my budget, and just made me feel amazing! I left with a dress I loved that required very few alterations. Just had my appointment last Saturday in the Raleigh location and I was very impressed. Before the appointment I had sent a Pinterest board with dress photos I liked, which was great! It made the process a lot smoother since Amanda already knew what styles I liked! We tried on quite a few and narrowed it down to the one. Everyone there was very friendly and the store has a great selection. All in all, I was very happy with my experience here!

Cant say enough about what a great experience we had with Janey. She was polite, seemed genuinely interested in our wedding and wanted to make sure I got the perfect dress. I found two dresses that I loved but still had two other appointments at other bridal shops. She was not pushy at all - she told me to enjoy myself and if I wanted to come back I could give her a ring and shed make herself available. I did go to my other appointments and ended up coming back for the Coastal Knot dress. I am so thrilled with both the dress and the experience we all had. Highly recommend!

Ive had several different experiences with this location that have weighed in on my low star rating (I would give it 1.5 if Google would let me). My first visit was me and my best friend who had recently gotten engaged, so I brought her in because I work in the Village and have always loved the store and window displays. We werent greeted at all even though there were several associates in the store; there were no other customers. After standing around for a bit, a girl finally came over and said we could look through what we wanted and then left us alone--not once asking any questions, like who was the bride, or bothering to get to know us as customers. We left a few minutes later due to this. My second visit was me only, because I was wanting to buy a pair of earrings I saw on the stores Instagram. Again, I was the only customer in the store and there were several associates but I wasnt greeted at all. I was looking over the jewelry for a few minutes trying to find what I wanted, before a girl came out of the back, saw me, and then proceeded to help me. Still not a great experience. My third visit was just me again and I went in to get a copy of the new Southern Bride & Groom, as I was newly engaged. One girl was in the store, and was very nice and helpful. She greeted me immediately, got me a copy of the magazine, and even spoke with me for several minutes about my wedding and about the dresses the store carried. That was a very positive experience! My fourth visit was me and some girlfriends (the bride & 3 bridesmaids). We had an appointment for the bride, and upon coming in we werent greeted and approached by anyone. Another bride and her family were trying dresses on, and all the associates were attending to them, being personable and giving everyone drinks. We werent offered anything, and were only told to look through the dresses and find what we wanted after not being addressed for several minutes--no one asked us any questions or tried to get to know the bride or her party. They didnt have a dressing room ready for the bride even though we had an appointment and it took us several minutes to get one while we waited around. We left after she tried on a few gowns (an associate didnt help her), none of which were for her and we felt like if an associate had helped her pick some options we couldve found the right gown. We needed that professional eye, that unfortunately we didnt get. After we left, the bride was feeling bad about herself and said this experience made her not eager to continue shopping for dresses which is not how a bride should feel after dress shopping. I hate that these experiences have happened because I love the stores look and they carry Hayley Paige, which is my favorite designer. I wouldve loved to shop here for my own wedding gown, but sadly these experiences have made me not want to shop here. Maybe, hopefully, the other locations are better.

I loved the Coastal Knot bridal boutique in Raleigh!! I had an appointment in november & loved my time in the boutique! So many amazing dresses! I was treated like a princess! Janey was super helpful & understood which types of dresses I was interested in! Ill definitely be back to hopefully make a final decision!

Although I did not purchase my wedding dress from Coastal Knot, I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and cozy, cheerful set-up of the store, that I returned there when it was time to purchase a veil. They welcomed me and helped me choose the right length and material for my look. They were mindful of my timeline and I was able to get the veil in time for my hair trial run. A couple days before the wedding I returned and they steamed the veil free of charge. It was such a perfect accessory and looks beautiful in the pictures. So happy Coastal Knot was able to be a part of my special day! I would highly recommend them for both wedding dresses and accessories!

I would give the Coastal Knot 10 stars if I could. My experience here was hands down one of the highlights of wedding planning. Every single employee I worked with was always kind, considerate, and so, so helpful. I primarily worked with Amber and she was absolutely amazing - going above and beyond in all regards. They had an incredible selection of dresses (especially Hayley Paige), provided a list of local seamstresses, and even went so far as to contact the designer multiple times for me so that I could have a custom veil made. Highly recommend to any bride!

Working with Jana was such a pleasure. I had already purchased my dress before moving to Raleigh but my veil was lost with the Alfred Angelo bankruptcy fiasco. Jana was very empathetic to me having to shop for a new veil to go with my dress and helped me to find one that not only suits my dress perfectly -- but I love it even more than my original purchase! The selection of dresses at this salon is extensive and all of the styles are really beautiful. I would definitely recommend this salon.

The Coastal Knot was the first shop I visited while looking for a wedding gown. I am pretty picky and was worried I wouldn’t find a gown I liked. The Coastal Knot listened to what I wanted and helped me find multiple dresses that I loved. The dress selection and service is exceptional. Although I am still undecided about a dress at this point, I highly suggest visiting the Coastal Knot, you won’t be disappointed.

Kirsten was patient with me (it took 4 separate trips to find my dress), and made me feel amazing in every dress I tried on! Everyone at Coastal Knot is SO nice and SO accommodating. From the second I walked in to my last visit the customer service was phenomenal. We looked at both the Raleigh store and Wilmington store and was torn between a dress at each location. The owner kindly offered to bring the dress in Raleigh TO the Wilmington store the next day so that I could try them on side by side. That is the kind of above and beyond service they provide. The dress I purchased was beautiful and they altered in perfectly. I even brought them my moms 80s veil and they were able to completely transform it and add lace from my dress to it. Best wedding dress shopping experience ever!!

To be honest I was not very excited about trying on wedding dresses. Ive heard so many horror stories, so I was very nervous about the whole situation. The best decision I ever made was booking an appointment with Coastal Knot Bridal of Raleigh. I was able to work one on one with the amazing staff member Casey. She was able to get a feel of my style and find dresses in my price range. Casey made the process of trying on dresses so easy and stress free. I found the most perfect dress, and it was even under my budget!! I cant thank you enough for making this such a positive, memorable experience.

I literally cannot say enough great things about coast knot! I visited this location in May with my mom and aunt who had both came out of state to dress shop, Stephanie & Amber were sooooo wonderful and really connected with me. This was my first stop and I just wanted to be sure so I wanted to go and look at other dresses to be sure and when I was sure they were accommodating about letting me come back close to closing time and did not rush me at all. They also exhibited this when I came back to try on my dress for the first time with myself and my bridal party driving from out of town. All in all I could not be happier with my Hayley Paige!

When I first started shopping for wedding dresses I decided I would hit up all the ones that peaked my interest, see what they had, then return to only one boutique with my mom and sisters to choose a dress. I am glad I did it the way I did because I was able to explore many designers, get a vibe of what kind of brides shop at each particular boutique, and the type of customer service I would receive. I knew Coastal Knot was the best fit for me and I returned after going to 7 boutiques in the Triangle. I find Coastal Knots vibe to be modern chic and they are the only ones that carried Kelly Faetanini. I love their new location as well (Ive been to both). Their new space has so much light through the windows it makes your experience much better. Some of these boutiques now that I think about it were super dark, drab, and dingy inside. One of them their lights were so low I felt like I could barely see the dresses and the sales associate even apologized! I had a great experience with Coastal Knot. Special thanks to Amber my sales rep. She is a sweetheart and very personable.
