Just horrible service. I rented a used textbook that cost $60, and they sent me a message, that my order is out stock. I called them and ask if it was possible to get it before the fall semester will start. The bookstore assistance (after put me 3 times on a hold) said No, probably not. Okay, not a problem I canceled that order, and found a cheap version for $50 at Amazon and what do you think - Wake Tech Book Store sent me a NEW book that cost $90. So instead of canceling my order they charged me more and sent a book that I dont want anymore. To make a refund I should pay for a returning label or drive a FEW hours to return it! This is just super frustrating and the manages didnt help at all. Im so disappointed, so please, reader - stay away, and find other places to purchase a textbook. And I will fill out an official Consumer Complaint.

I went to the bookstore, because my online order was on hold. Nobody answer the phone so I came to the campus.Craig made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

The line was long but moved fast. We got what we needed but were confused with online versus in store pricing.

Bought a book from there didnt have the access code. I tried to call the book store to work things out but apparently no one is on the phones. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever had. It is the middle of a pandemic and these people cant even get it together enough to make sure someone is taking phone calls, absolutely ridiculous. It seems they are avoiding all communication and responsibility. Amazon is a much better choice I would never buy anything from them again.

Great book store

They never have proper books in stock, they never buy back books, everything is incredibly overpriced and you’re basically screwed if you need to do a return. Also whoever answers the phone is unbelievably rude/arrogant. A lot of students are broke but nobody cares there much less treats anyone like they’re human.

If you go before classes start (December for spring semester) it has alot of stuff that is useful and nice. However, if you go once classes have started it is like a war zone. Before classes started they had these really nice binders and all the books were in their places. After classes started, no binders, they could not even tell me if they had the book I needed, spent an hour searching the store, found it and was told that might be it but not sure. Also half their books are loose leaf which is suppose to be cheaper but its not once you buy a binder like it is a dollar cheaper. Then once you open the sealed pack you cant return it but most of the packs in the store already have holes in the packaging.

The Southern Campus Bookstore is superb! The staff is always friendly and attentive. I would recommend ordering your books and supplies online to save time during their busy hours. In addition, I also like the idea that you can select your books in this bookstore without the staff picking them for you. In fact, this saves money because the staff members at some Wake Tech bookstores can give you more merchandise than you need or bombarded you with unnecessary course materials through marketing/selling techniques.

I was just checked out and can I say it was one of the best experiences. The staff was so nice and helpful. I was led to my books which was awesome because I was completely lost. Thank you.

Quick and courteous

Fantastic school. The administration is excellent. Our child is having a wonderful experience and loves her teachers. We are grateful for all the benefits afforded our child and the education she is receiving at Wake Tech.

Very friendly staff that is willing to help you find books if you cannot find them and can even assist in helping you to get the right materials for your classes. I was in and out quicker than I expected! The only downside is that the books I had to purchase were very expensive here, so I would definitely look into buying them cheaper online or from another bookstore.

Dont waste your time. Unless you have no other choice dont even step foot in here. I came in close to closing and instead of actually searching for what I needed I was told it is only available on a separate campus where my class is not even offered. My classmates bought what I needed at this location not even two days before so it seems unlikely for it to no longer be offered here. I guess they Had more important things to do than their job.

The only good thing about this place is that their staff is nice. EVERY SEMESTER I have had multiple books not be in stock, to the point that I have missed assignments. This summer semester is no exception.I went in last week(5/6) looking for my textbooks and was told that one of them was not in-stock yet and that I would be in-stock the next week. I came in today(5/16), they STILL do not have the book and I am told that I will not be in for another week at least. I have assignments due(5/22) before the bookstore will even have the textbook in-stock.The bookstore is the WORST PART about being a student at Wake Tech... and I did not even mention the pricing.

Very good. Professors are nice and the staff is good. I will say financial aid is a weak point but... its paperwork. What are you gonna do about it?

Bought a $10 used rental book, went to go pick it up, and they told me somehow someone had already picked it up?? Instead I had to pay for a $50 new rental because thats all they had. Just buy your books on Amazon or something; save yourself the imminent hassle of picking up your books at this place.

This store sent my book to another students home. Lucky for me the student found me on FB and wanted to give them back. Bookstore be careful where you send people information. That could cost WT their whole college.

Friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile. One time I called and they waited for me an extra 15 minutes. The tall manager is really cool it was before summer school started and he looked up and told me what book to purchase. Thanks again.

I was sold a Cengage software by one of the students works at the bookstore after asking inquiry on a history book for my fall semester which after I register for the class. so when i to get an estimate of book the associate said you buy the whole book with the software now for the fall semester I said Iu whichsure showing her the class I pick she said yes brought in june now when I went to the bookstore and now Philip silvernen is refusing to give any type of assistance after he told me to get a statement and come back

They over charge for every book, access code, laptop, anything they can get away with.The clerks arent well trained because they are always confused when you have to ask a question no matter how simple a question.And the bookstore manager gives out false information. My book was not located at the bookstore on RTP this is the only campus this class is offered on. She tried to tell me it was an online only class at first and then tried to tell me it was at the RTP campus when I was there yesterday and they said they werent carrying the book for my class.

Dealt with poor customer service from this location. Ordered the book from online, pickup in-store. Only to find out the book for my class was the incorrect one, packaged in their shrink wrap Non-returnable if shrink wrap broken would not exchange for the correct book. Contacted them the day before going there in-person, would not answer phone, left voicemail message, and never returned my call. Do not do business with them you are better off buying your textbook(s) online through Amazon. Poor customer service, I would rate no stars if I could.

Never buy books here EVER! Not only are the employees both dumb as hell and rude as hell, but they overcharge like hell! I went in to get a few things, and they neglected to tell me that they were closing right then and that it wouldnt ring up through financial aid, so I wasted a ton of time for nothing! I cant stand this place and the horrible people who work here!!!
