Textbook Brokers is literally the BEST when it comes to Purchasing or Renting textbooks! Ive been coming here for the whole time Ive been at WTCC, and they have saved me so much money. The bookstore on Campus is too expensive comparatively. Plus Textbook Brokers offers the option to Rent, which is phenomenal because I dont plan on keeping my books. Kevin has been working there since Ive been coming, and he is a solid dude who knows what hes talking about. If you need books for your classes, or dont know which books you need, come here! They have your back.

This is purely an issue of Store Policy vs. Doing The RIGHT Thing. My daughter purchased her books from Textbook Brokers before class on the first day of the semester, based solely on the “listed requirements” for one of her classes. She found out from her instructor two days after the return date printed on the receipt (one week later) that she did not need one of the “required” items indicated, so she returned it early the very next day, unopened in the sealed wrapping.Textbook Brokers gave her only 75% of her purchase price. Why only 75%? Are they going to mark the brand new unopened (still wrapped in cellophane) return down 25% to resell as used? You KNOW they aren’t! My money says that item went right back on the shelf as “New”. But, rather than doing the right thing and giving her a full refund, the store manager stood behind his store’s policy and kept 25% of the money paid for a product sold to her as “required” that she didn’t need.Do you realize there are MANY other places we can purchase these textbooks at your prices or better? But this isn’t about the money. It is about the fundamental principle of putting customer service first before profit.So, to put this in perspective Mr. Store Manager, your practice of putting policy and profits before customer service and satisfaction will now cost you a minimum of 5 semesters worth of textbooks. I hope your policy is worth the $9.00 Textbook Brokers took a stand on.

Used Textbook Broker in Raleigh near WTCC for a few years now. Always have whatever is needed in stock or got it within a few days.Nice, helpful employees too! Store is in shopping mall with plenty of parking.

At least $15 cheaper than Barnes and Noble College. Definitely buying here again!

I took a book back, still in it’s new plastic that I payed $100 for and they only gave me $10 for it. I didn’t think I would get the full $100 back but I was very disappointed when the guy told me that’s all he would give me. And when I asked why that’s all he could give me all he said was “store policy”

Very nice store and not too compact, so the line goes by quickly. The person I talked to wasnt that helpful and gave me vague answers, but I managed to find what I needed.

Customer service was really subpar... I brought in 4 textbooks to sell and they only took 1. I know they have their policies, but I would have appreciated an explanation as to why they couldnt buy back my other three books. Instead, I was greeted with silence and a get out of here kind of atmosphere. Not my cup of tea.

Honestly could’ve been higher if they answer the phone more often considering I don’t stay nearby and have to drive all the way out there just to be told my items haven’t arrived yet. They also tell me they’ll call me when my books come in but never do. One of my books has been there and it took me to call them for them to tell me that. Also, I’ve ordered a book about a week and a half before school started. Here we are almost three weeks into school and I still haven’t gotten it. My first exam is in a week and a half and I haven’t even managed to touch the book. WHAT. IS. GOING. ON.

This place is SUPER efficient! You are able to get your textbooks at great prices! They are very polite! Sometimes the lines can get long, but they get through the customers very fast.

I use these guys all the time. Much cheaper and friendlier than the Wake tech book store. Id give them six starts if I could. They really deserve it.

I just returned my rentals and sold a few textbooks Im not using anymore. I got way more money than expected! The people were super nice especially the two girls, Amber and Casey. Plus they gave me free Scantrons!!! Anybody who wants to save money NEEDS to come here. Dont go to the on-campus bookstore!

I use Textbook Brokers for just about all of my college textbook needs. Friendly staff, fair prices and they except financial aid! I will continue to use TBB and encourage you to do the same!

You can save no more than 50 per book, late rental fees are more than twice what the books are worth. Dont even think about doing the buy back either... Buy your books used online

Always very helpful and they can pull up your class schedule to see what books you need to use. They also accept financial aid which is great!

Went to text book brokers, trying to get books for my pregnant girlfriend for classes she is taking at wake tech, the man at the counter was rude. I was trying to get information on the exact books she would need and he acted like I was wasting his time.I would not rec anyone going here they are unprofessional and not helpful.So i went to Edward mcKay used bookstore and they were very helpful.

All the staff have been amazingly helpful as well as being welcoming, the prices are great and great vibes. Would recommend to any other student.

I was on my way to the Main Campus to purchase my books for the fall semester and decided to pop in and check out their rates. Although I had no idea what my book would cost I was pleased to findout that I saved $22.87 and didnt have to spend an hour looking for a parking spot on campus. Like another reviewer noted, they do not answer the phone but they are very prompt in the store. They take questions via email.One thing to be aware of, they do not sell e-books at this time. It’s also helpful to have your schedule printed out before you arrive but they do have a terminal with internet access should you need to print a copy of your schedule.

They work with you with payments & not as expensive as the book store. I love it here.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would, they have the best prices in town and they made sure I had everything I needed for my semester.

Textbook Brokers had all the books I needed for my classes at Wake Tech and the prices were so much lower than the bookstore on campus! I highly recommend this place for getting your books for class.
