This store has really improved over the past month!! All employees (many looked new) were masked as were most customers. The staff greeted and approached me immediately. The store looked fantastic during my visit yesterday. It is very clean, and the shelves are fully stocked with both classic toys AND all the trending fidgets. There is a great selection for tweens/ teens. The displays are working again, and there are so many great demos to play with. I love how safe I felt letting my 3 year old run around and play. Everyone was upbeat and friendly. Jodie is a sweetheart and is so helpful. Great job, LE!

I’ve known that this store has existed for years and I have heard good things from parents all over, finally I understand the hype. If you are on the hunt for “fidgets” or the latest craze your kid is bringing back from school, chances are Learning Express has it. The selection of fun and educational toys is amazing even currently when so many places are experiencing shortages. Best of all they offer GIFT WRAPPING in store which is what has locked me in for the long haul. Shopping for the weekend showcase of kids birthdays has become a breeze. Great staff, Great selection and Great Experience I Highly recommend!

Great store, I thought they were going out of business because the shelves were quit empty but the employees which are fantastic, and very helpful, they helped me find the perfect Christmas gifts today for my girls. I want to give a big shout out to the two managers who were redoing the store. It’s always a new adventure going through learning express, we love all the new products and the way things change every visit. The falls pointe location is absolutely amazing.

Great store far as product availability. But ultimately what takes stores with great products down are its employers. Its imperative to enjoy where you work. The employers could be friendlier to customers to help boost sales. For example, like greet new customers saying welcome let me know if I can help you with anything. I purchased a product but almost put it back simply because of poor service unengaged employees! The store was extremely cluttered and messy as well!

This was our first, but definitely not our last trip here!The staff was so helpful and friendly! I could not say enough! The store has EVERYTHING!!!! It was well stocked, organized and clean. When you have a child with Sensory Processing Disorder...this place was HEAVEN for her! Pop its, tangles, dimple digits, all of the things that I still forget, hahahaha!!!We left super happy and broke, hahahaha!!!! Will definitely be back!!!I even bought an acupressure ring and pop it for myself...and this adorable hampster because...why not 😁

Amazing store. They have a huge selection of pop it’s, fidgets and all the best squishamallows. Their staff is really friendly and helpful. Our favorite kids store in the area! Plus they do complimentary gift wrapping which is so handy esp when buying a present on the way to a party.

Learning Express Toys & Gifts at Falls Pointe sponsored one of my scavenger hunts. Their contribution to the gift baskets was very generous. In addition, they were easy to work with and very responsive. I can tell by how they interacted with me, they have a very caring business.

Anyone who needs to buy a birthday gift for a child needs this store. Not cheap junk but interesting toys and higher quality items. Gift wrap is free and always fabulous. Lots of games, outdoor and learning toys as well as some of the more traditional.

Great selection of items as well as great stock in all of the items we were looking for. Had an issue with one of the items and had to exchange it. That being said it was a easy exchange once we went back and the girl helping us had excellent customer service. We will be going back again tomorrow to pick up a few more items.

I love love love this place!! I went squishmallow hunting and this was one of the places it suggested that sold these toys. I went in with hopes they had them but wasnt expecting them considering the last few places I had been didnt have them, I looked around and was almost about to walk out sad but there in the back the wall was covered with what I was after!! I bought 6 of them and i will be back for more when Christmas time comes around ill be back again and again as long as you sell squishmallows!! I cannot thank you enough for making my heart so happy this weekend!!

We have a city-wide mask mandate in place for all indoor spaces. When I went to Learning Express at Falls Pointe with two of my grandchildren, there were individuals in the store who were not masked. When I said something to them, I was ignored. While they did not appear to be on staff, it looked like they were helping some of the staff. No one on staff said anything to these individuals about wearing a mask. We got out of there as fast as we could. While I like the products in Learning Express, I will not be going back because of their lack of concern about wearing masks during this pandemic.

Amazing experience! I called the store looking for a specific item and the staff were so nice and helpful on find which store had the item in stock and placed it on hold for me.

Only giving it a 3 because the store felt small and crowded with too much merchandise. My shopping with this location over the was a much friendlier experience than when I went to pick up my packages and shop for more. No greeting, no offer for help and there was confusion and no receipt when I went to the counter to pick up my phone order. Its my opinion that the space needs a make over and staff needs training. Its been over a year now and merchants need to stop using Covid as an excuse. Rotate merchandise if you have to, so that customers dont have to be so close to one another,or limit how many shoppers can enter at one time .

Learning Express you have some explaining to do! I walked into your store recently with my daughter and the customer service is so awful I wanted to throw up. My daughter wanted a pop-it, i think it’s called, and when we were looking at them to see which one she wanted the workers were looking at us very weirdly and laughing behind the counter. When we walked past the counter to look at the live frogs my daughter had her finger on the glass to just touch it, not hurting anyone, and an employee said, “Don’t touch that!” and basically yelled at my daughter. We then just went to the counter to check out and the lady didn’t even say, “Did you find what your looking for?” or even ask how i was doing. These employees are animals! Very disappointed 😞

A great place for kids of all ages really! Not a store filled with mindless toys, but a treasure trove of learning and excitement!

They have a well curated but selective selection of solid quality toys across infancy, childhood and early teens. I seldom find the same toy at a lower price online. I know smart young people, and I depend on learning express for being able to find something that they will appreciate and enjoy for a good long stretch.

Best Toy store my daughter has seen since Jeffery left ToysR’ Us. If you love fidgets this is the store to go to. It’s worth the drive .

First time ever being in kinda store and was very pleased.The staff were also very pleasant.

I am dismayed by the behavior of the employees at this store. From the laughing and talking behind the counter to the terrible customer service? This is absolutely unbelievable! I walked into this store today to get a gift for my nephew and when I was going to check out, I had to wait for at least 15-20 minutes because the employees were gossiping behind the counter. When I did check out I didn’t even bother to ask to get it gift wrapped because i had already spent over 30 minutes in the store! Learning express please inform your employees about this i am extremely disappointed...

I DONT EVEN RATE THIS 1 STAR I GIVE IT A 0.3!!! Staff is extremely rude especially the lady with dirty blonde straight, and short hair! She was talking about me behind the counter saying i was a “Karen” when i was trying to get a squishmallow? My daughter got YELLED at by the worker for running around? I AM SO APPALLED BY THEIR BEHAVIOR. Never taking my daughter here EVER again. Do better Learning Express.

Crystal and staff are always fun and pleasant to chat with! I enjoy going in after work to see their huge variety of squishmallows and chatting with the staff about the latest collectibles. The selection of this store is unmatched by any other store in the area. It’s always clean and a fun shopping experience!

Absolute horrible staff. Everyone was behind the counter doing absolutely nothing but laughing loud and having conversation when people had questions. Once I was ready to pay I had to wait a long time to get checked out because they wanted to finish their story. They would look over at me waiting at the register and turn around and continue their conversation while ignoring me. Then once they decided to ring up my stuff, they were very rude the entire time.

THE OWNER/OPERATOR OF THIS FRANCHISE IS BREAKING THE LAW AND NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS.

I came here with my family and my little sister was on one of those scooter things and she accidentally ran into something and she got yelled at by a worker with short shoulder length dirty blonde hair and she was talking about us to someone on the phone incredibly rude not trying to be a Karen but was very bad experience😕😐

I shopped in the store for my elderly parents the week before Christmas and was very disappointed to see that the employee working at the cash register was not wearing a mask. The store was also crowded, and I understand that it was a very busy shopping time - but I had also been at other stores that day that took measures to keep people as safe as possible: limiting the number of shoppers, offering hand sanitizer at the door, etc. This was extremely disappointing to experience and particularly so to now see these concerns have been expressed by other reviewers during the pandemic. Please take this seriously and keep our community safe.

I called the other day to see if a certain squishmallow, and had the rudest employee talk to me saying “if you are calling about next squishmallow order thanks and bye”. Not being Karen but felt very rude and unprofessional with just saying “hi”.

They had 5 Connor squishmallows in the back and when we asked they said it was on hold even tho they don’t do holds🤨😐😐😐🤨🤨🤨

Was very disappointed to see Lego tables, train tables, dollhouses and other hands on displays still set up in the middle of the pandemic. Also, three out of four employees had masks on. The one without a mask came over to ring up her purchase. No plexiglass or other protections. She said that she has it around her neck and not on her face for health reasons. The other employees continued to chat. Noone else was in the store. While I appreciate that some people may have health exemptions from mask wearing, it seems like someone who is comfortable wearing a mask should be the one ringing up customers. When I spoke with the manager on the phone later, she said her job is to keep everyone happy. I would love to support small businesses now more than ever but this type of carelessness makes it difficult. I will shop at places that prioritize health and safety over happiness!

I had no idea Toy Stores Only still existed until today at lunch. And what a little gem it was. There are so many different kind of toys these days and its a shame most kids have no idea bc they are glued to a Playstation or Xbox. But yea great selection only reason its not 5 stars is because some of the Cooler items for bigger kids are a little overpriced...ie...The Zipline Kit.

Learning Express is a bit pricey but thats just how this store is. They have a good selection of active and educational toys and books. Many of the toys carried are wooden or otherwise quality made. Im giving 5 stars especially because as a mom of 4 yr old twins and a 17 month old, I was able to call the store on Saturday am to confirm they have a specific dinosaur I had in mind (I got my kids the same from here), pay over the phone, and pull up to the curb where they brought it out to me! I was thrilled to not have to get all 3 kids out of their car seats, into the store, and back out by myself (husband was working)! This was priceless to this mom of 3 young kids! I even had time for an iced coffee stop before heading to the 11 am party.

Awesome store for buying gifts for kids! They always are one of the first places to have the newest toy or gadget desired by kids at the time. Lots of learning activities that are funny the same time. Kids love it! And they do free gift wrap
