A little difficult to get in and out of, primarily due to aggressive drivers turning into the parking lot near the entrance. Some prices are good. Produce and cheese selection and quality are excellent. The best supermarket selection of local beers in Raleigh. Prices are generally higher than competitors, but not anywhere near as high as Whole Foods. Very narrow passage between aisle caps and checkout. Clean and well organized. Friendly employees.

Hello everyone, I like going down each lane.When you first enter, someone is there with sanitizer and clean carts. Theres a small floral section,if you need flowers.You,smell the fried chicken, its delicious.Everything, Ive eaten from the bakery, taste good.Stop by the meet the butcher, for smoked meat.Its actually smoked,in the store. They have a bar, seating for those that dont like to shop.Last Saturday was my 1st time there, with my daughter.I really enjoyed it. Bartender was great.Sunday is $.99 smoothies,at the bar.

Lowes Foods is my go to grocery store. Great clean interior, produce is fresh, and prices are comparable to Harris Teeter (slightly more than Food Lion, way less than Whole Foods). Trimmed chicken breast at the deli is $3/lb.Fun themes at deli, bakery and they have their own bar. Decent selection of craft beers available.

I have lived in NC since 2012 and had never gone to Lowes Foods. My regular store was Kroger, then was forced to shop at Harris Teeter when the former pulled out of the Triangle. When Wegmans opened, I made that switch. Unfortunately Wegmans has been slipping real bad - always out of stock of items and suspicious dates on meat. I decided to go to this Lowes because I needed sliced corned beef to make Reubens sandwiches...Lowes seemed to be the only grocery store around that had that particular item on their app as in stock, but when I got there of course there was none...unfortunate but its okay - I was able to browse the store with my wife and we were certainly impressed with the selection of brands and products. The meat section especially - their chicken is higher quality and cheaper than Wegmans. Their produce was very fresh. The store was clean, well stocked and sensibly organized. Employees went out of their way to help us. Only reason I knocked off a star is because overall its very expensive. If it was just a hair cheaper Id make this my new go-to main grocery store but alas...I cannot. Will come back every now ajd then especially for meat and barbecue sauce but cant make regular trips here

A bit pricey, but beautiful & clean! At first glance the produce section is gorgeous, however, upon closer inspection, a lot of their produce appears very old (soft, shriveled). This location- A great store with terrible produce...my observation from more than 1 visit.

Picked up what I thought was a Red Velvet Cake. It was fully labeled as such, for my daughters birthday. As she cut into her first piece tonight the cake was a Carrot Cake. Unfortunately my daughter is allergic to nuts. My husband quickly noticed it was carrot cake and intercepted it before she could take a bite.Plus side I immediately called the store and they were able to refund my money and provide me with two small red velvet cakes since they were out of the big ones.Please be aware of what you are buying. For the store, please make sure you are mindful of labeling.

I like the food options in the what they call the Chicken Kitchen. The service however leaves a lot to be desired. Attitude so thick you can cut it with a knife. Lydia is the only one that makes you feel welcome and provides good customer service. If I could rate her separately she would get 5 stars.

Had frozen items in my cart. Got in line to pay. Man was changing paper but couldnt get the registar to go. He called the guy next to him and he couldnt fix either. The guy told me to go to another line. He didnt offer to ring me up. I had less than ten items and he wanted to get in the who had a customer with a cart load of items. The registers were closed. What happen to customer service. I wont be back.

I usually shop at another Lowes Food location but decided to stop at this location on my way home from work. This was my first and my last time shopping at this location. The purpose of my visit was to get a few things from the deli. When I got to the deli area there was one customer already being helped. At one point the deli staff member that was helping the customer had to come from behind the counter and opened the display case from the front. Both times walking in front in me (so there was no way see did not see me waiting in line). After handing the customer her items the clerk went back behind the counter and started putting together rotisserie chicken boxes. I wait a couple minutes for her to return but she did not return. I started to leave but I did not because that is what she was probably hoping I would do. The entire time there is another deli clerk cutting meat. I ask him for the manager he told the other clerk who has been ignoring my present. She walks up to the counter and states there is no deli manager available, but she would try to help me. Before she was done with my order the manager comes to the back and she asked me If still want to speak to the manager. I did want to talk to the manager, but I also wanted to watch this person package my food. I told the manager about my experience and she apologized. I am easy going person and tend to let things go but this behavior was something I have not experienced in years. Anyone who provides customer services should be able to treat all customers equally.

Best place for fresh produce. I absolutely love how clean it is here and how nice the staff is. I find myself in Lowes a few times a week. This is my favorite grocery store.

Ooooof I have to drop this down to two stars. The food is still pretty good but the service has really degraded a LOT in the past few months...Im guessing someone new took over. Currently standing in line with 14 carts for 1 kid on the register who is currently running up and down the aisles searching for the manager. Another employee said no one can find her. They could easily open the self checkout or at least a second lane, but again, no one can find the manager. Its one thing to be understaffed, but theyre not...there are half a dozen employees standing around who cant open registers or find the person who can. Leadership is more than hiding in the office!Update: the manager finally came out and just started bagging and laughing, really loopy like. The line started getting longer and a customer finally had to suggest opening another register as it was obvious that they werent able to keep up. The GM might want to work a night shift once in a while.

Great place to shop.

Very large beer den with ample bar seating spaces for social distancing. Rotating taps and they fill growlers. They sell glasses of wine as well. Due to COVID, you cant shop with your open beer.

Clean, well organized, but everything is unjustifiably overpriced (in my opinion). There is nothing unique about it to justify it (selection, departments, etc.), yet its very expensive. Its very similar to a Harris Teeter but even more expensive!

Love this grocery store. Regularly have local produce including the cured Wise Farms sweet potatoes. Beautiful presentation. Nice to be able to get a beer or fancy coffee drink while you shop. The store brand chicken is Springer and better than most. Responsive to requests for certain items and quick to provide good customer service. We have an over abundance of grocery stores in the triangle, but this one stands out as trying extra hard to be something special to its local consumers.

Great deli, produce. They have my favorite, fresh squeezed orange juice. Less expensive than Wegmans.

We have been shopping at Lowes Foods for several years. We order online, they do the shopping, and then we pick the groceries up. We have never been disappointed by the selections made by the store shoppers.

The attention at the chicken counter is really bad! I’m working for instacart and I have an order for 4 box (8 pcs) chicken, the girl who placed the order trough the app made 2 hr ago and the last shopper canceled the order because the people work at the chicken counter said that you need to placed a order before because you need to wait 20 min for fried a chicken! But they have chicken already fried but I don’t understand why they don’t want to selling me, so I need to wait 20 min for my chicken when they have chicken already fried in the counter!!

They have a few good employees however, alot of them need some customer service training. I walked up to the customer service desk today and I was met with an attitude. Being that I have worked in customer service and still do time to time. I know that no customer wants their day ruined for no reason especially when all you wanted was a money order. Its ways to explain things to people and instead of asking how I was paying he assumed I was paying with card and said in a snappy way “ we dont take card” . Again some of their employees are great but some need some training.

Clean, have almost everything you look for and has competitive prices. Location cant be beat.

Went in to buy firewood. New to using a fire place and the lovely lady at the self checkout helped us get the right stuff for burning a nice fire at home. Box of fire stax and a bundle of cut wood. Seems simple but when youve never burned a fire before it was nice to get the help at the local store on whats best to use. Fire turned out wonderful and my family had a great movie night thanks to her and the red box out front of the store.The store was really clean and tidy as well. My first visit here and to any Lowes Foods but wont be my last as this is right up the road to my home. We dont have Lowes in the Bay Area, CA so its nice to find a new grocery store chain.

The people in the bakery are super helpful! Tip, you can buy frosting by the pound, if youre baking, need to save time, but want higher quality than canned frosting.

Its the only store I can find Mids pasta sauce and its the best. Very friendly employees.

I’ve lived in Raleigh since 1986 and I cook and bake a lot. Today I made stuffed cabbages. Lowes foods sold me the most beautiful head of cabbage that I’ve purchased in the 33 years of living here. My stuffed cabbages turned out perfectly! Great store And worth the expense for the excellent quality produce!👌

They have a new espresso, wine and beer bar! Fun! Good variety of products, decent organic selections, they redecorated a year or two ago and its very attractive as grocery stores go. Not upscale, but good basic grocery store. Decent prices. Friendly staff.

I waited more than 30 minutes for 4 orders of whole chickens, there was chicken in display and they did not want to sell it and they cooked new chicken for 30 minutes to be able to sell it to me !! very bad service, bad logistics of diatribution.

Many visits to the store have meant waiting in one open line while several cashiers stand around talking. The lines will have their lights on but cashiers are too busy talking with each other to provide service and have sent people to the one lane where the cashier is actually working. People wonder why grocery stores are switching to automated cash registers—this is why.

Nice people work at the chicken counter like Perry. And the chicken taste great.

Wonderful grocery store they have so much and fresh baked goods. You can just stop here and grab some dinner to take home already cooked for you. Just wish they would build closer to our town.

They treat you like family

Miserable experience! I drove 25 miles to go to the deli because they are the only ones that have two specific items I need. They changed the deli completely! Instead of the personalized service you used to get you get assembly line service and hope you get what you ordered. Well I did not. Even after telling the girl twice! Not pleased! Things are consistently out of date. Used to be a great and friendly store..not anymore.

I like this market. Foods seem fresh but prices are reasonable. Definitely better quality than Food Lion but not outlandish pricing like Whole Foods. They do prepare fresh foods such as guacamole there as well as baked goods. The deli section has whole cooked chickens, etc.. Good selection. They also do not block the aisles too much so you can get around. I hate places where the aisles are obstacle courses. Good parking.

Lowes has done a great job with their makeover of store and food items. Recently had their italian sub (one of several tasty looking options already prepared) and it was delicious, served hot. Large portions and great value!

This Lowes is a typical suburban grocery store that leans to the upscale. Besides convenience, the thing I like the most about the grocery store is that its always a pleasant shopping experience. Its isnt so crowded that you feel like youre going to be run over with a shopping cart. The atmosphere is calm. The cashiers and managers are pleasant. Whenever I have questions or need help, I get assistance pretty quickly. They have nice fruits and vegetables and emphasize produce from local farms. Ive been known to pick up some of their prepared foods which are pretty tasty. I like their meat and fish selections too. Their prices are a little higher than some of the other grocery stores. However, the company is a North Carolina company and they are trying to support North Carolina businesses. I like to support that as often as I can.

Newly remodeled and clean grocery store, prices are ok and competitive. It has an inside coffee and will be bar so very much different than your regular grocery store.

Its been a very long time since Ive been in there, and I like the updates and changes they have made. It is clean and well organized.

This is my favorite grocery store in Raleigh. The staff is always great the floor plan is easy to navigate and find your food its not too big of a store. Prices are a little bit higher than normal however they have the best fresh cut fruit great sandwiches huge selection of wine and beer. The management is great they also have Lowes food products which are priced a little bit cheaper but everything that I have had from the Lowes brand has been pretty good I would recommend it to anyone

Maybe a touch pricier, but Boars Head has a great presence here. With a beer/coffee bar to take a pleasant break, and a great variety of fresh made sausage.

Clean store with updated interior. Good beer selection with a bar in the store. Helpful and friendly service with limited wait in the check out lines. Very limited vegan and health food options. Overall way more expensive for all the groceries I buy. I would rather go to the whole foods right across the street.

The beer den makes grocery shopping into a fun errand. ;) Lovely staff, and bright clean store. Keep an eye out for great sale prices on high quality items (of which they have plenty!)

Great store, good people. Muffin and coffee was good. All departments were large, well laid out and loaded with great prices.

Good store before remodel, fantastic after. Great produce and products. Sausage works is continually taken advantage of. Beer den is great and the fact that you can enjoy while you shop is great. Foods to go service customer for going on 20 years. Its another example of how great this store is.

My go to store for organic groceries and meats/deli/seafood. Great workers in the fish/meat/deli area. Seafood is especially fresh - only had one issue in 8 years. Food Lion - not so much. I never wait more than 5 minutes to check out. New bakery is fabulous!

Charged me 5x the price cause of their mistake. Then manager gave me attitude and tried to turn it around on me Im surprise u didnt look at ur reciept. How about just apologizing for making me waste my time getting this fixed.

This is one of my favorite places to get groceries. They always have what I am looking for and their employees are usually very friendly. The store has very unique things compared to other grocery stores in the area. Theres a bar, a bakery with a daily selection of cake for you to buy by the slice and a their very own chicken shop like KFC. Its very good and I love it.

This is by far my favorite Lowes Food location I just recently moved from Raleigh and I hated the fact that I was going to leave this grocery store behind. The staff here has always been so nice and its always going above and beyond to ever help me with anything that I have needed. The store is kept very well maintained its very clean and the bathrooms have always been maintained as well. By far one of the nicest grocery stores have ever been to the bakery Deli and Meat Department of a very large variety of items. My two-year-old daughter was completely obsessed with the chicken that moves in the deli they would always play The Chicken Dance song and the staff used to always come out from the deli area to do it it made her day. And it always made our visit to Lowes Foods so eventful thanks you guys for always going above and beyond and being so great I will definitely miss shopping here thats for sure.

Weve been using this location for the majority of our grocery needs. The produce has always been well managed and the meat selection is what you would expect. Sausage works and the beer den are nice perks. We take advantage of Lowes food to go regularly and while weve encountered a few mistakes they have always been quick to correct.

Swanky store for a Lowes. Shop here all the time and think its pretty good. Nice attention to produce and very kid-friendly butcher section. Very helpful staff -- always.

I love that I can pick my own fresh basil and other spices right off the plant. I cant say enough about the bakery!! Yummm. Always a pleasure.

I like Lowes Foods, but its a little different from a couple years ago.

Just moved to the area and this is going to be my store. Its large, well decorated and well lit. The aisles are large. The freshly prepped meals, house-made sausages and beer selection are top-notch.

Nice store, cashiers definitely want you to leave a cart at their aisle and dont mind telling you that. Good prices in the ad. Large wine and beer section and great place to find coupons.
