I recently decided to try this hair store after moving to the area. My first time inside the store, I witnessed the man who I assume to be the manager/owner yelling and degrading a young, black girl who I assume is/was an employee at the establishment. After seeing this, I could not go through with purchasing from the store and made sure to let all family members & friends know that this store does not deserve any business after leaving! There was also a terrible leak in the ceiling in addition to the horrible management. So disappointed that this was the first impression.

Did not open on time ! Very unprofessional... guess I’ll have to go somewhere else

This establishment does not honor their prices. The items I wished to purchase were marked $2.99. However, they rung up as $4.99. The manager did not honor the price as marked. The cashier was instructed to change the prices immediately. Needless to say, I cancelled my transaction. Please watch their prices👀

Selection of products seemed nice. I was disappointed that even I made it clear I was looking for a wig that no one of the two workers present offered to help me and I was the only one in the store. Maybe Im spoiled from the store Im used to going to in South Carolina.

I love this place for my hair products. They slso have some really exotic merchandise all over the store. The essence parfum oils are plentiful and inexpensive. A quick in and out honey child.

Theyre a good beauty supply store. So glad they were open on today, needed some final items to get hair done. They were right on time for last minute items & they have a nice wig selections.

Manager is a very nice man. They have good products for men as well. Very nice customer service:)

The woman at the counter is a dirty old grumpy hag. She is prejudice spend your money else where.

I stopped to get a pack of hair and Unnie was extremely rude & not customer friendly at all. Did not greet me & had an attitude. Warning dont waste your time in there the air doesnt work it is super hot and very messy. STAY AWAY SHOP ONLINE

Not too pricey. Would have preferred a larger inventory. They are open on 1st and 4th sunday also.

On Friday, April 28th, I decided to go into this store to buy some coconut oil. When I got into the store the first thing the lady at the counter said to me was that I needed to leave my shopping bag and purse at the front of the store, now mind you she didnt even take the time to great me. Then I gave her my shopping bag but declared that I would not put my purse with her. As I walked throughout the store, I knew that she was watching me, she had a prejudice that because I was black, I was going to steal. When I had gathered everything that I am going to buy, i took out a visa gift card. She proceeded to tell me with a nasty attitude that they dont accept gift cards. Even after all of this I kindly say that its fine because I have a credit card. She rudely asked for my ID. And then after having my credit card and ID side by side said that I had stolen someones credit card. Then she quickly said oh, Im sorry. I would have to say that this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I am 17 years old and really feel like to some degree I was harassed by this woman. I did nothing wrong. This is not the first time Ive had a bad encounter at this store but me being kind I decided that I needed to turn the other cheek but I had to spread awareness about this business because I feel like they are blatantly prejudice against minorities shopping in their store. I advise for us as minorities to not patronize this business. I hope my experience helps someone who reads this.

We as black women have got to pull together and open up are own beauty supply stores, so we can stop spending our money with them. We just need ONE store in the Raleigh area.

Being that I use to be an employee there for 6 months and a frequent customer prior to working there. Unnie has a very nasty attitude with anyone who comes through the door, even the employees. It is true that it is very hot and muggy inside the store the a/c is broke. Unnie has so many cameras in the store that when she had employees would tell her employees to follow people throughout the store as she followed them behind the counter on the cameras and also a friend of mine use to work there as well, she accused her of helping the woman steal from the store and my friend didnt know the woman or even known she had stolen from the store. She once accused me of an attitude and I wasnt doing anything and I told her she had some nerve because when I work customers love me and come ask me for help and are nice, but when it comes to you they complain that you rude which you are very rude and prejudice. I have moved on to bigger and better things and I feel bad for whoever shops there or who even works there. I apologize to anyone who has to undergo such harsh treatment from a minority herself. And if you are looking for a job I wouldnt advise hair and beauty not be your first choice because it was my first job and I regret the six months I spent there.

HORRIBLE place! It is 90 degrees inside and they barely have any products! I decided not to buy anything and the lady made me empty pockets and purse and kept asking me where the stuff I stole was. I told her I didnt want to buy anything because it was too hot and they didnt have what I wanted. Shame on these owners who stalk you through the aisles.

Overly priced hair products which you can get from Wal-Mart for $1- $3 cheaper bye they do have somethings that you can not get from Wal-Mart. Know what you want when going there because they dont know what you are talking about.

Does not Answer there phones and takes phones off the hook before closing and thats not right!

The store opens up at 10 I got there at 10:30 waited 30 minutes and no one showed to open the store up

The cashier will follow you while you shop !

I think I have been here once not sure but after reading these comments I dont think I will go back not willingly anyway because if someone ask to look in my purse I would let them and then call the police and say Im missing $100 LMAO
