Great service and customer oriented. I was on vacation in the area and Harrisons fixed my problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. If I ever find myself in the area and in need of a mechanic, I will not go anywhere else. 5 Stars in my book.

Recently my mechanic of seven years retired and, ladies, you know that is like losing your hairdresser! Begrudgingly, I trudged on to find a new mechanic. Asked around, read reviews. I have found a great one in downtown Raleigh. Harrison Automotive! I met Andy the owner when I dropped off my car. He was very professional, informative and open to any questions and concerns I had. I was getting an oil change and a 150,000 mile check on my 2001 Toyota Camry. Brian the mechanic called me after he looked at the car to discuss what they found, prices of maintenance items etc. Brian also was very patient, not pushy and informative when answering my questions. They took the car on time, they called when they said they would and they finished when they said they would. They were not pushy in trying to do extra repairs/maintenance. Overall it was a great experience and I think I have found my new mechanic!

Great first experience.Booked an appointment for an alignment before I put new tires on my car.. they could have taken my cash and sent me on my way but rescheduled until the new rubber was on to ensure the job was done right.Bravo!

Harrison automotive really knows what they are doing with Volvos. The owner gave me a really great price on a rack replacement, not just for the area but for all over and quality expert work. You may have to look past the round about location, a very quick pull off the highway, or the shabby grounds, ( hes got old Volvos stacked up and waiting for a new life, but well worth it if you have an old Volvo. Very honest. Very trustworthy. I be taking back the old 240 there for all my major work.

Harrisons was wonderful. I took my 2006 XC90 to Weavers first, they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it- even after replicating the complaint. Harrisons fit me in (I was visiting family in Raleigh and needed to repair it before a long road trip home) and were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They found from experience after a test drive that it was the spark plugs, when Weavers told me to keep driving it for 3-5 more days so that the computer could tell them what was wrong. Reasonable prices, great service- wish we had Harrisons in Connecticut!

My first time there. They were reliable, efficient, and nice to work with. Once under the hood they did a complete and welcome job of putting me back on the road safely. Quality and cost of their work is competitive and likely better overall than the other best in Raleigh. My Volvo S60 has 130K miles on it and has found a new caretaker.

These guys were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. They promised to care for my car as if it belonged to their dear Grandmother.They were fast and thorough. The car was done right the first time and well below what a normal fix should cost. They are true christians in that their actions show Christ in their lives. I would not hesitate to send anyone there for service.I will be sure to call them anytime i need work on an exhaust system, or anything involving a foreign car! Andy is the best Volvo Mechanic ever. He has seen it all and heard it all at least twice and is as nice and honest as they come. He looked after me and my V40 and C70 for years until we moved away and I know I wont find another one as good as he is.

We have our Honda van and our antique Volvo serviced at Harrisons and have LOVED the care they take with our vehicles. They are so easy to work with and really go the extra mile to make sure that the job is done right and that our cars are safe and trustworthy.

I took my c70 to Harrison Automotive today. Andy and his team did a great job! It is a little bit more expensive than other shops, but this is the place to choose if you want to take care of your Volvo. Andy and his guys are real Volvo experts and they know Volvos very well! I would rather drive 1h to go this place than go to other shops that are only 10 minutes away. Now I know where to go when my Volvo is down. Great service, made me feel like home.

Andy is THE most trustworthy mechanic Ive ever had. He cares about his clients and never suggests work thats unnecessary. He will tell me whats coming up, if tires are looking wonky etc. but has never pushed me to spend money I didnt have. If I had my way, every mechanic and every shop owner would be like him!

Got a quote that was very high for some work from another shop. Because Harrison specializes in Volvos, they were able to determine that my issue was actually a much simpler, cheaper one. Saved me money, done fast and with excellent service.

Ive been taking my 2007 Volvo here since I moved to Raleigh a little over a year and a half ago. Harrison Automotive has always done excellent work at reasonable prices, scheduling is easy and the people are friendly. What more could anyone ask for?

Since the management has changed this place is a trap. He will try to do the repair without naming a price then charge 3 times normal rates. Watch out.
