Jerome was awesome! This is my son‘s first motorcycle and Jerome put us all at ease, there was no pressure to buy. and only a sincere desire to educate and make sure we were getting the right bike for our son. I couldn’t be there when the bike was picked up and I asked her room to please send me a photo and sure enough, the next day, this picture came. Whether it’s your first bike or your fifth bike, I can’t recommend the staff at Team Powersports in Raleigh enough.
Taylor was an incredible help in finding safety gear as a first time rider. He spent upwards of an hour explaining to us what we would need and the extent to which every item would provide an extra level of safety as newbies. By the time we left with the whole Nine yards, I felt not only confident, but eager to come back and continue to update my equipment. Moreover prices were reasonable and sales not uncommon. I’ll most definitely be in often.
Got a new tire install on my ZX14. Crew were friendly and took a little over an hour to do get it done. The atmosphere is great with an open minded and sophisticated staff that can pretty much get anything done regarding motorcycles in general. Salute to everyone there and a special shout-out to Athena💪🏽😎🙏🏽
Dropped my ZX 14R off there to get worked on. The front desk person at the service department was wonderful and helped me feel confident my bike was in good hands. Also posted photos of some great gear they have.
Everyone in the service department was very nice. Good prices on replacement tires, but I wish they had told me I needed a rotor when they called to tell me about the rear brake pads, not after when I came to pick up the bike. Not expecting the new pads to last too long on the worn rotor.
I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place and the people who work there. Jerome went above and beyond helping me choose a bike. He is super knowledgeable and personable—I definitely trust his input on what would be the best fit for you! Athena in the parts department is also amazing. She was instrumental in helping me pick out the best helmet for me and knew so much about all of the options!
It’s hard to find a good motorcycle shop and these guys a Great! Great Experience from the jump. Friendly staff especially the service department and parts! I just wanted to say that Sev was the most patient and customer service oriented person I have ever encountered in 40 years on this earth.My first contact with him was uncalled for on my part. I took my bad day out on him. Sev stayed cool as a cucumber. Took care of my needs, accepted my apology, and sold me a motorcycle the next day that my wife absolutely, is in love with.TPS Raleigh, you have a great employee (Sev). I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. I will be purchasing more bikes here and its without a doubt because of how Sev treated me start to finish. Limited selection and sales guy seems more interested in correcting every notion or opinion you have about motorcycles in general than trying to convince me why I wanted to leave on one of their bikes that day. I wasnt familiar with the Royal Enfield Himalayan when I walked in there, but it was interesting so I checked it out. Now, if you dont want to get laughed at, make sure you know ahead of time that the model (Himalayan, like the mountains), isnt pronounced the way you would expect... The way youve probably said it youre entire life, but instead the way its pronounced in India, him-AHL-yun... Obviously...Despite that eye roll moment, it was still interesting enough to hop on. It was pleasant, but then I made the mistake of engaging again. This is nice... It feels like it might compete with the KTM 390 adventure... I started to say. What? No. I mean theyre both motorcycles, if thats what you mean, he said, cutting me off. I looked down at the adventure bike I was sitting on and honestly questioned whether or not I was having a stroke to so terribly understand him. Really? He took a deep breath to prepare himself for the education he was going to have to give me... No, totally different... This has a 411 cc engine, the KTM is 390cc (actually 373), this has a 6-speed transmission, the KTM has 5 (actually the other way around), the KTM is heavier for the same amount of power (it turns out the KTM is actually lighter and produces more power), this is an inline two, the KTM is a single cylinder (theyre actually both single cylinders), the KTM is a sport bike (?) and this is an adventure bike, and the KTM is a lot more expensive (that, at least, is correct).So, feeling chastened and embarrassed at my woeful ignorance, I left. But can you imagine my surprise when I start typing Royal Enfield Himalayan into Google, and the first suggested auto-complete option was vs the KTM 390 adventure, and the results had a lot interesting discussion. Apparently, theres quite a bit of debate specifically between these two bikes.Ive been riding for almost 20 years and Im fairly used to being dismissed at bike shops, since I dont walk around in a Harley jacket or assless chaps, but this was an impressive level of condescension. Needles to say, whatever I get, itll be from somewhere else.Edit: I added a star, because upon reflection, they do have air conditioning, and at no point while I was there did the salesman try to murder me.
Good shop with good selection of maintenance items and gear. I visited the service department to have two tires mounted and balanced. They always answered the phone and got my tires done as promised. Even squeezed me in for a state inspection as I was due! Thanks Mason and crew!
Jerome is fabulous! I bought a Honda Ruckus from him completely over the phone and it was seamless. He was super friendly and made the whole process easy and fun! Dylan and Sev were just as great! They even helped my arrange the transport up to CT. Even my transport driver said the crew at TPS were all awesome. You won’t go wrong here!

Went in looking for an SSR 125cc pit bike. They had exactly what I was looking for (although they sell them fast). I was in and out with a new dirt bike (exactly what I wanted) and helmet in about an hour and a half. Everyone was very helpful. The bike was a little pricey when it was all said and done. I could have ordered the same exact dirt bike directly from aliexpress and saved a ton of money but would have also had to wait a million years for shipping. So if you have time to shop around online and are patient enough to wait for the shipping you’ll save yourself a LOT of money. For me, I was just ready to hit the trails and this little bike has already been super fun!

I bought a motorcycle and Mark was super helpful throughout the whole process, afterward I was looking at upgrading from a terrible helmet and Athena was a wealth of knowledge and super patient even though I know I was super annoying haha. My 2007 Kawasaki KLX 250 was having trouble starting and idling. It really needed a bit more work than I had thought. Mason and team has always taken great care of me over the years. Mason explained the details of the carburetor and valve adjustment that was needed so I knew exactly what was being done and why. My Moto now starts and runs great and even has a bit more power. I highly recommend Mason and his service team to keep your Moto running smoothly.

These guys are outstanding, especially Sev. I purchased a left over new 2019 motorcycle from Team Powersports and Sev made the entire experience very favorable and easy to accomplish. I also had new tires put on, because I dont care for the stock tires that came with the bike. The service department got them on quickly and efficiently. You cant lose with this motorcycle dealership. They are professional and diligent and most importantly credible and transparent.
Awesome store with a fantastic staff! Athenas knowledge of helmet safety features made the shopping experience very smooth. Sev was excellent and quick with processing all the paperwork on the bike I bought! If youre new to riding this is definitely a store you should visit. Time after time after time again continuous disasters in the service department. Mason who I’m assuming is the manager is thorough and professional. I spent a lot of money with this place in the customer service continues to be very very subpar and extremely disappointing.I really want to support these guys but I will be spending my money elsewhere in the future.

My son called me to accompany him at Team PowerSports because he came across his dream 🏍! He already purchased a GXSR 600 a few months before as his starter and felt a little gluttonous for wanting to upgrade so soon. Upon arrival, I could see his nerves as he had already engaged in discussion with Sarah and Jared. This was his first big purchase of this caliber and he wanted my opinion and advice. Ultimately and in hindsight, he really didn’t need me there because Sarah and Jared provided a no pressure buying experience. They each connected with him on a personal level as we awaited financing decisions. And even with other customers we did not feel neglected, even when my son was still trying to decide if he wanted to move forward. Kathy explained the terms of the contract with every detail and answered all of our questions, even the silly ones. She even gave him some lotion despite the pandemic...seems a small gesture, but it was just another testament to the customer service we experienced. This was like no other buying experience I have had: the salespeople are usually pushy, they don’t give you all the relevant details and you leave wondering if you made the right decision. Although I wasn’t the buyer, I left feeling proud of my son for making his own decision, feeling like the bike was quality and knowing I would certainly be back when I was ready to upgrade my 🏍!
David did a great job from A to Z. We stopped in just to browse a few ATVs and after talking with David, who is an absolute wealth of knowledge, we ended up narrowing down what it was we were looking for. Extremely Poor Customer.. My spouse and I came here to make a purchase and was not greeted by one employee the entire time we walked the show room. There were a total of 4-5 staff members and not even a hello from 1. 2 appeared to be helping 1 customer, 2, chit chatted with each other, while the other drove ATVs / 4 wheelers from outside. He walked past us multiple times, as if we were not there. This is how you loose business and not only from us. Social Media goes a long way.. A simple, someone will be with you shortly would have been more than enough.
Team Powersports got my tires changed and my inspection done with zero hassle and did not waste a minute of my time.
My 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan developed a fuel leak from the gas tank. I discovered on a few forums that Kawasaki issued a recall for the 2003 model for the exact same issue and thatbthey sometimes perform the recall on motorcycles that are not 2003s. I spoke with Kawasaki Corporate and they indicated that if the problem was confirmed at a dealership then they would help with the repair. I decided to go to the service department at Team Powersports as I had purchased a new motorcycle from them in the past. I called them and the gentleman I spoke with told me that I would have to drop off the bike and told me how much they would charge to inspect it. Sounds good. I arranged for a ride and took my bike over. When I got there I spoke with a different service writer who showed no interest in looking at the leak. He also quoted me over twice as much for the leak inspection. I brought up the cheaper quote given to me over the phone and he said that there was a misunderstanding on their part but that they would not honor the initial quote.I cannot trust a business when they do not stick to their word. It is also telling when a service writer shows no interest in the problem that I am seeking help for but instead goes straight to the number$.

Mitchell went above and beyond to be certain my parts were ordered correctly. It took several minutes and became very tedious reading the parts diagram but Mitchell was very patient. Would recommend calling to speak with him if you need parts.
I called service to ask 5 million questions about my new motorcycle that I purchased from them; and by the way my purchasing experience was absolutely incredible!!! I would say it would have been impossible to have had a better experience anywhere else 😊😊😊Ok back to my calling service....... I was lucky enough to have gotten Mason the service manager on the phone, not that anyone else in service wouldn’t have given me excellent customer service but let me tell you, Mason stayed on the phone with me for quite some time and answered all of my questions!!!He didn’t sound annoyed or that I was waisting his valuable time, which I’m sure I was lolHe didn’t try to rush me off the phone, it was extremely unusual to actually be talking to someone who cared about my concerns and was willing to help me feel a lot more comfortable about my concerns.If you don’t give this dealership a chance before you buy or need service somewhere else, you have just missed the chance to be treated like a real person and not the opposite!!!Their prices and customer service are absolutely the best around; don’t take my word for it, give them a try.My hats off to Mason and the rest of the Powersports team!!! I had a great experience with Mitchell getted outfitted with Sena 10S communication devices for my and my husbands helmets. Mitchell installed the Sena devices in our helmets, gave me a very professional, courteous, and personable call when they were ready. When I came to pick them up he showed me how they worked, had me try on my helmet, asked if I had questions and said to let him know if we had any questions or trouble with them at all. I highly recommend seeing Mitchell at TPS!

The staff at TPS Glenwood always offers up a very relaxed, no pressure environment. They know I like to roam around and never know what I want to buy until the last minute. Then, they are always there to answer questions and assist as needed. Mark was very patient and SEV from Finance was a riot as usual. I left the same day with new bike and wanted to share my experience. They have a nice selection of in stock motorcycles and I was they got the bike prepped for the road promptly so I could bring it home the same afternoon. I will return next season more than likely for yet another bike. ”

I purchased a 2019 RE Himalayan from Team Powersports as a second bike, since I wanted to support the local RE dealer, and they have been pretty helpful so far. Sales team was friendly and not pushy. Service department was also very responsive and solved all of the minor issues I had with the bike without having to drop it off for days at a time, which has been a big perk since I have no way to transport a bike other than riding it.
I would definitely go in to detail about what they totally messed up on but I wont put them on blast like that just know if u want work done to your bike please find another place!

I had a great experience at TPS - Raleigh. I have been visiting this and the Garner location for a few months now trying to decide when to get my first motorcycle. They had a great used motorcycle online so I called about it and they were more than willing to answer any and all of my questions. Very painless experience. The shop also had plenty of gear and helmets to select from. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, nice selection of motorcycles to looks at, and great advice from the people who work here!Myself and another female walked in, we were instantly greeted by younger gentleman who asked us a few questions. Told him I was looking into a 300 since this would be my first bike and I didnt want to get something I couldnt control. He agreed, said for a first bike it would be perfect, went into how they are made better than they use to be made. I saw a bike I fell in love with. an electric blue Kawasaki Ninja 300. Absolutely beautiful bike. The gentleman offered to let us sit on it to see if we liked the feel, even supported the front so we wouldnt worry about dropping it.We did get there a little before the place closed, about 15 minutes, but no one rushed to get us out of there. All of the staff were extremely friendly and talked to us about the different options we had to choose from.Absolutely fantastic staff, great bike selection, and great experience and advice from the people working here!

Unexpectedly needed a new tire. Called Gigi in service and she got me right in no problem. Mason did an amazing job, even going above and beyond and servicing my chain. Mason even helped me put on the net I bought for the back seat. And he helped me with willingness and a smile. They were quick, efficient, personable and great!!! As a female its hard to know where to take your bike in for service but I would absolutely recommend this service team!

I bought my first bike here just a couple weeks ago (Ninja 400) along with a bunch of gear, and he helped me out with everything from what his preferences are, to what might be the best choice for me. Considerate, patient, kind, and overall a great salesperson. And even after all of that, I picked up my bike the next day and he taught me the basics again since its been years from my last time pulling in a clutch, changing gears, etc. You guys definitely have my loyalty next time I need a piece of gear or maintenance!!! Highly recommend for your first time buying a bike!May 22, 2019: Mason did an awesome job with my 600 mile first maintenance. Couldn’t recommend this place more than I already have. Courteous, quick service and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Excellent customer service!
I was trying to replace the front tire on my motorcycle. I called, they did not have in stock so had to order. I had to pay in advance (They dont trust their customers to pick up their parts). I tried to schedule an appointment to have the tire installed but they said they dont schedule appointments (They dont trust their customers to show up to appointments). The guy told me to come by at 12 when he should have an opening. I show up at 12 and he tells me that it will be until 4 or 5 now as some other people showed up before me. Obviously I dont want to wait that long. I cannot carry the tire with me so I have to get a refund. I lost almost half a day and got no where. Plenty of places have figured out how to handle appointments and what to do with cancellations or people not showing up and I think Team Powersports should try to figure that out too. Its only convenient for Team Powersports and totally inconvenient for customers to not schedule appointments. You would probably get more business and could justify hiring more mechanics if you took appointments. You certainly lost my business because of this.
Customer service here is top notch. I went in for an oil change, NC inspection, and a 10 point inspection. Not only did they do the 10 point inspection correctly, they took care of a couple other minor needs I had and did so happily. Mason was very helpful up front. Adam, the mechanic, was friendly and professional and did great work! The folks who work there know how to treat customers right. Randolph, the parts manager was a perfect gentleman. Let me mention one additional thing, I dont ride all that much. I have been wearing a pretty crappy leather jacket from the 90s, ... not smart. Well, these guys sell really, really nice, high quality riding jackets, vented, padded, reflective accents for night riding, etc, for only $200.00! If you dont have an awesome riding jacket, spend the $200.00 and get one because it is well worth the investment. And if you havent been to this place, check them out. I had a great experience. In short: Fair prices, helpful staff, good people.At length: Prices are a bit high at first, but theyre super willing to work with you on them. Service is a delight, always willing to explain exactly what needs to be done and why that is the case. Theyre always super polite and very personable. All in all, even though there are 30 minutes away from me, Im never going anywhere else.

Awesome staff. Pricing is right on point for gear/accessories when compared to major locations like revzilla and other. Vehicle pricing seem close def do some research before purchasing though. The inventory is decent for its location size and if you are unsure of something they are a wealth of information. Service wise I have sent multiple friends to them and have always been completely satisfied with their service and pricing.
Mason helped me tremendously during my recent experience at Team Powersports Raleigh. My bike wasnt running correctly, so I took it to Team Powersports and they fixed the issues.
