Very helpful staff. Great overall experience, unfortunately the exact item I was aiming for wasn’t in stock (it is an odd size refrigerator), but they gave me multiple options for ordering the item. Definitely appreciate the effort and would highly recommend this store!

Purchased new washer and it was a top buying experience of my life. Staff has exceptional product knowledge and learned more in 10 minutes then 4+ hours of self research. Max made the whole buying process smooth. Scheduling and installation was also done by Garner Appliance employees who were extremely professional and made sure the new washer was functioning properly. Also hauled away old machine for next to nothing. Stop wasting your time with other companies / doing self research and go see Garner Appliance for your next appliance need.

We ordered our appliances from Dave and our experience was pretty stellar. He was informative, answered all of our questions and kept us up to date on all of the delays caused by Covid. We purchased appliances from them before which is why we went back. Great customer service, polite and professional.

I worked with Dave (Raleigh store) over the phone. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. My washer and dryer were delivered on the day and time I was scheduled (within 4 days of in-stock purchase)and the delivery team did a great job of working with us to install the appliances to our satisfaction. We recently bought a refrigerator here. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and quite helpful. We give it 2 stars because, of the three employees in the store, one was not wearing a mask at all, and the other two had cut the bottom strap so the mask just hung from their faces. We did say something but no one made an effort to correct it and one made snide comments about Governor Cooper and the Covid restrictions. We found this distressing. We would not shop there again

We recently purchased a refrigerator from the Raleigh location of Garner Appliance & Mattress, and we were very pleased.Our refrigerator was a special order, and it arrived an entire month before expected. Everyone, from my initial phone inquiry to out visit to the store, to the delivery and installation of the refrigerator were very nice, and we were very happy to be doing business with a local family-owned company. We were very pleased to see their prices to be actually a little lower than the big-box stores. We will definitely do business with Garner Appliance again!

The buying experience was fine, aside from the salesperson not really seeming to know the significant differences between Wolf, Jenn-Air, Viking products. However, we did not have to wait and were in and out within about 30 minutes, which I greatly app[reciate. I would give this place an average to above average rating based on that experience (3 to 4 stars). I will note that not a single employee in the store was wearing a mask, and this was after the statewide mask recommendation.I have deducted two stars because the installer (Carl Prentice) did a poor job installing the unit. It was not level at all and looked silly (see picture, -1 star). It was simple fix that I did myself.More importantly, he did not wear a mask in our house. He actually went on a rant in our house about COVID-19 and how it was all overblown (as the morgues fill up in Texas!). I found this highly unprofessional(-2 stars for not wearing mask and going on rant). He is welcome to ask installers that enter his house to remove their mask because COVID19 is just like the flu, but its not his decision to wear or not wear a mask in someone elses house.

I had a great experience with Sam as my salesperson at the Raleigh location. He was very helpful in explaining Speed Queen products to me. Then, to top it all off, I had the VERY BEST delivery and installation done by Ross and Keith. I am 57 years old, and they are by far the VERY BEST delivery men and installers I have ever had with any type item I have ever purchased. They were thorough, did very neat and clean work, did a great job of explaining everything, and in general I felt they went above and beyond. In fact, they were so good that I would buy products in the future from your store just to be able to have them do the installation. They restored my faith in a professional job done well and thoroughly. They wanted to make sure I was completely happy with everything before they left my home. These two men are very fine representatives for Garner Appliance.

I worked with Dave to order a washer and dryer. He provided good customer service and follow up, especially considering the item I ordered was not in stock. He contacted the manufacturer directly to keep me informed of the progress of the order.The delivery was on time, the delivery crew was courteous and efficient, and the washer and dryer worked fine once it was installed. I appreciated Reggie offering suggestions of how to work around the dryer vent pipe to get the best placement of the dryer. Malik and Dwayne were also kind and helpful. It was a very hot day; yet, the crew did not complain and provided good customer service. I highly recommend Garner Appliance!

Our experience with Garner Appliance was terrific from the point that we entered the showroom to delivery of our refrigerator. Our salesperson,Ty Baker, was extremely knowledgeable and took his time helping us make our selection. We shopped around a bit, but found no better prices, even in the big box stores. Our delivery team, Reggie, Dwayne, and Malik, were very skilled, prompt, personable, and polite. Start to finish this was a great experience. Overall great experience. Much more personalized service than the big box stores. I think they could be a bit more generous with offering discounts (i.e. military, AAA, etc) but that is not a real complaint. Salesperson nice and he did what he could with pricing. Hello viewers. I wanted to let you know about our experience today Sat Jan 20 2017. I was with my family today looking to replace my washing machine that had stopped after 20 years of service. We went to the appliance center to see what they had. They had just the perfect model we were looking for and for a great price. I told the sales lady there that we were going to come back in a few weeks and order one of their top line washers. Probably should not have said that because we got poor customer service. The lady acted as though since we were not going to spend thousands of dollars there we were not worth the time to deal with. I guess they dont get that big commission on lower priced items. I told her I wanted to purchase the item and take it with me. Didnt care that it wasnt in a box. I told her I would load it myself. She told me that because of liability they could not do that. She said they would have to come from Garner to Capital Blvd location and pick up the unit and deliver it to their store. Also wanted to probably deliver it to our home for a 100.00 fee. Whats the difference if I have to wait a week and pick it up in Garner. I would still have to load it up in my truck. Well after 5 minutes sitting in the parking here she came out of the store like she was going to a fire. By the way I found the exact same machine at lowes and yes they matched the price and even loaded it for me. Well The Garner Appliance Store just lost my business from now on. I will order my Speed Queen from someone else. If I was the store manager she would be fired for loosing business and from everyone else I tell about.Sorry for long message but paying customers needed to be treated better.

Overall we were very pleased with the service we received from Garner appliance including the sales staff and delivery personnel. They carry a good selection of reliable, quality products and we will purchase additional appliances from them in the future. Part of the process is selecting appliances for your new home. We got to work with Rita and Amgad and it was a fantastic experience. They listen to what you want and make recommendations that work with your budget.We will never build another house but we will always go to Garner Appliance and Mattress for any future home needs.

We went to the new Clayton store and saw John Schindler.I needed a new high end mattress with adjustable base due to issues with lower back pain and my heart.I so appreciated Johns expertise and assistance. He made sure we had what we need, that both my husband and I were satisfied (we have different firmness preferences), and that our needs were met with the least possible expense.He also had suggestions about mattress protectors and the size sheets I needed to buy.Today Chris and Donell delivered and set up our bed. They were very professional, did a great job, cleaned up everything expertly, and were in and out in minimal time.I will be back the next time I need appliances or beds/mattresses!Great experience from start to finish!

They have a great selection of high end appliances. We got an honest opinion about what was worth the price and what wasnt. I would definitely recommend shopping here if you need new appliances. The prices seem competitive and they also appear to have some well priced options.

Were very pleased with the experience we had with Garner Appliance. The only negative comment we have is that two of the appliances in the Jenn-air package we ordered took a bit longer to come in than the others. When the appliances were delivered, the handles on all the appliances were not what we had expected to receive; however, our salesman, Sam Fransen was quick to rectify the order and the appliances with the correct handles were delivered a week later. If we have a complaint it would be more for the Jenn-air company in that they did not allow for the handles to just be switched out, but they required replacing the appliances with the correct handled ones - which seems like a complete waste of time/money/resources for the company and store. The delivery guys (Ross and Keith) were great - very friendly and accommodating! Based on our experience, we would definitely purchase again from Garner and recommend purchasing from this store to others.

The delivery crew, Reggie and Malik were great. They hauled our new washer and dryer up to the second floor and around a tight corner at the top of the stairs without hitting any walls. Very impressive.

There other reviews perplex me. My wife stopped by earlier in the week and she barely received any service. The quote was some handwritten numbers on a plain paper. We decided to go back again to give them one more try. To my surprise, there was only one other customer in the shop and at NO TIME did anyone even acknowledge that we were in the place. There was no we will be with you shortly or thanks for stopping by. Obviously, we did not buy anything but if sales is like this I cant imagine we would purchase anything. Hard to support local sometimes.

I have been doing business with Garner TV for about 30 years. Even before that my family always went to Garner TV for their TV and appliance needs. Amgad and Rita are two of the most honest and good people that you could know. I went to the North Raleigh location yesterday because my dryer stopped working and I wanted to replace it. I was helped by Kevin and Robert who went above and beyond to get me a dryer ASAP. Actually its on the way to me as I write this! The showroom is clean and beautiful, customer service is above and beyond great, and the prices are competitive. Ill be back! Thank you Garner TV!

Chris & Donell came today to deliver a VERY HEAVY washer & dryer. They were very professional and did not damage or scratch anything...very impressive! I would highly recommend these two especially if you are concerned about anything getting damaged.

Garner TV & Appliance was terrific - I was able to order the newest model of the Speed Queen Washing Machine through them and they came through 100%. Delivery was earlier than expected and they removed our old washer and installed the Speed Queen, explaining its features and taking the time to make sure everything was was working well. I will definitely contact them when it comes time to get a new dryer and would reccomend them to anyone who is shopping for major appliances!

Kevin Estes in the North Raleigh Store hooked us up with the appliances for a kitchen remodel. His recommendations were spot on, he worked to get us a fair price for all of the pieces, and were very satisfied with the results.

I would not give them one star if I was allowed to post this without selecting at least one star. I am a home builder that did business with this company for a year. Each (4) order contained either a damaged or malfunctioning appliance. Communication to resolve the issues was little to non-existent and all appliances had to be paid for prior to delivery. Still have 2 malfunctioning appliances and an undelivered appliance after almost two months after initial delivery.

My husband and I came by your store after calling and talking to Sam about looking at a Bosch refrigerator. When we came in, we saw him and told him we had called him about looking at a refrigerator. He had a gentleman sitting across the counter from him, and he did not get up to greet us. He said, Ill be with you in a few minutes, just go ahead and look around while I finish this order. After 30 minutes of waiting and wandering while they sat and talked about orders, we walked out of the store. Neither of them seemed to care when we left. The Garner Store located in Garner has never treated us like this. We will not be returning to the Plantation Valley Store in Raleigh.

We purchased a Bertazzoni gas range from Garner TV and Appliances that was delivered in August of 2015. We have been having trouble with it for at least six months, and I called Garner TV to have it serviced. I was told that they have not serviced Bertazzoni for the past four years. I was given the number for Franks Repair, and I was told that they no longer service Bertazzoni, due to having a lot of trouble getting parts from the company. When I was looking for a gas range, I was told by Kevin that it was a great product, and they stood behind it. This is not the case. I have been getting the run-around for a while now. We paid a lot of money for a range that they recommended, and now we cant find anyone that services Bertazzoni ranges. I am not happy. I feel that a range should be functional for far more than two years, and if its not, something should be done to remedy that situation.

They talked us into ge and electrolux instead of samsung, saying easier to get replacement parts. the washer broke within two months. they farm out the service, and it takes three weeks to get parts. the stove is presently dead at 15 months--3 months out of warrany. where are my samsung appliances. we got had

As a home inspector and contractor, I always like to have an appliance store to recommend to my customers. I cant recommend Garner TV & Appliance more highly. This is their North Raleigh store. The original store is in Garner. Dont let the name fool you. Kitchen and laundry appliances are not an after thought. Garner TV and Appliance is a family-owned local business. The founder immigrated from Egypt in the 1960s and fixed TVs and electronics prior to opening his own store. Amgad Saad and Rita HInes, children of the founder run the store now. They are knowledgeable about appliance features, get to know your situation, help with model selection that is right for you and will tell you the truth about various brands. They even throw in interesting facts such as Bosch dishwashers are made in New Bern, NC and Whirlpool is bringing the manufacturer of some of their appliances back to the United States from Mexico. Their prices are competitive because they work with other independent stores to get buying power from the manufacturers. The best part is the service. No 1-800 numbers to fool with. You just call them and they handle sending the repair man out to work on your appliance should there be a problem...which I have to say does not happen very often in my experience both personally and with my customers. I had an AWFUL time at the Lowes in Wake Forest the day prior and no one wanted to help me out. Frustrated and in panic mode as I was without a fridge, I called Garner Appliance. Sam answered the phone and patiently listened to my dilemma and then offered several solutions including a possible loaner fridge. I went into the store the next morning, purchased a floor model and Sam graciously arranged for SAME day delivery! I mean this is literally as good as it gets. Harry called me 2 1/2 hours later to say he would be at my house in 20 minutes and lo and behold they arrived ON TIME. Harry and Melvin were the epitome of professional, they meticulously removed my old refrigerator and installed the new one. Harry ensured the settings were correct and then cleaned the front so it was smudge free: ) : ) Dont waste your time shopping at a big box chain, save yourself the headache and go straight to the pros. I will never shop at another appliance store again.

Salesman at the Raleigh store are great and very helpful.Its come down to sarvice after the parches that the owner have very hard time getting back to costomers by email or phone.

I just left there and the owner was asking people in the parking lot if they were in the military and telling them he would tow their vehicles if they were. I dont know why he is so against the military but it was crazy! If I didnt see it I wouldnt believe it. I am cancelling my order and buying from somewhere else.
