Great selection of appliances, furniture, etc. My daughter and I first visited on Monday to look and decided upon a French door fridge. My son- in- law and I went back today and selected a stainless steel GE model with in- door ice and water. There are several small dents on it, but it doesnt affect its overall appearance.The appliances are out of box and while most have only minor dents there was one which had them on all four doors. It was a great fridge but cosmetically not at all pleasing.Hector helped us on Monday and Yusur today. Both of them were both friendly, provided a great deal of information and were extremely helpful. I would definitely go back if I needed other appliances.

My experience at American Freight was amazing. 10/10 would recommend if youre looking to buy quality and affordable furniture. Raymond helped us throughout our entire purchase. He was knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and professional. I was able to purchase and take home my couch in the same day. Extremely easy process. I come here pretty regularly to get appliances for apartments where I work. The quality of the appliances is always good. Even when I’ve purchased scratch and dent items they are always exactly as advertised. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is my go to shop for appliances especially since many places are experiencing delays due to supply chain disruptions with Covid.I only wish that they would allow for invoicing for my company to purchase from them.

A really nice outlet but I want to believe the only thing is we went at the worst times possible. The experience was both pleasant and awful at this outlet just because they had a lot of pieces we were interested but didn’t have any capacity or any in stock because of COVID-19. We couldn’t buy floor models and like every other store, they were backed up on their orders because of the pandemic.But like I said, the only disadvantage at this place was no availability on items and inability to buy floor models lol

Kyle knocked it out of the park!! We were in the final stages of closing on on the sale of our home and were advised to run a self clean......which then broke the oven....Appliances are insanely hard to find at the moment. We were let down at the last minute by our warranty company.One call to Kyle and he found a perfect replacement and it was delivered and installed within days. Install crew were awesome.Kyle kept us updated all the way through the process and also gave a follow up call to check all was good.Cannot rate Kyle and team highly enough.We need more people like Kyle in the world!Cheers Kyle! I highly recommend, just keep in mind they have both new in box and cosmetically damaged applications and a reduced rate.My husband and I went to look for a washer and dryer .We came Friday morning after they got new shipments in and bought a matching set of GE front loader washer and dyer that had some cosmetic damage. We did not get a warranty but they informed us that we had 48 hours to let them know if we had any problems. The washer worked great but the dryers inside drum was hitting the side of the dryer when we first ran it. We called and spoke to Raymond and they made sure we were taking care of. With not having a replacement in store at the time (understandable), and not wanting the wait for the next shipment that following week. We decided to exchange both for a permanently GE stacked washer and dryer. It was new out of the box and cheaper than our initial purchase. We eneded up getting the 3 yaer warranty and got refunded the remaining balance in cash. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Weve been coming here for years and always pleased they have what we need. We came in today on Christmas eve in search of a garage fridge due to our main not producing cold . The store was busy and Mr. Raymond was quite busy and working alone up front but he still had a professional, kind and warm attitude. He didnt make us feel rushed or unwelcome, quite the opposite. I was visiting my daughter in NC and noticed her fridge was not working. Mom mood kicked in and started searching. I saw the reviews and they are on point. Justin was great and very professional. Do not go to American Freight! We just spent an hour looking at furniture, asking questions, making a decision, only for them to say its out of stock. As a matter of fact, most furniture is out of stock. We were asking questions specifically about the sectional we eventually decided on and the sales rep at no point said its out of stock. He answered the questions and kept it moving. Then we walk to the cashier to make the purchase and she says a lot of people were told the same thing! Why in Gods name would they continue to display everything when nothing is available! Why then did the sales rep try to excuse his not saying anything by saying he didnt know we were going to make a decision. That was the worst customer service experience ever! Waste your time if you want to.

We were very frustrated with our experiences at other big box stores. It was going to be a month before we could get anything delivered. American Freight was a last ditch effort to get a fridge and washer/dryer within the month. Most of their appliances are scratch and dent but new. Justin was fantastic and helped us find appliances that will meet our needs and got them delivered in two days. So nice to find people and a place that really wanted to help. Next time I’ll look here first!

This is actually our second purchase from this location. We purchased a dryer a couple of years ago and couldn’t be happier with the product and service. Yesterday we purchased a fridge for our new home at one heck of a bargain! We took our time in deciding which involved multiple trips to this location. Every time we were greeted with friendly, helpful service. If and when we need more appliances, this will be our first stop!

My salesman Kyle was so patient, kind and professional. Raymond was also very personable and helpful. Highly recommend. Searching for a fridge during the pandemic was a struggle, but they made the process painless.

Had shopped online & selected a ‘scratch &dent ‘ Whirlpool combo refrigerator and freezer. Ours died very unexpectedly and we needed one fast. Bought online from photo & description of where/what scratches and dents were. Right on the front door but I had given my husband a magnetic file for Christmas that’ll be where his mail is - and it was the perfect cover for the cosmetic flaw.A few other ones but I can live with them & we saved at least $1000!4 stars because their delivery was going to be 13 days away BUT to their credit they had the contact for another delivery service so we got it the next day. Happy all the way around! I would definitely go there to check out any appliance that needs replacement- guarantee as what the manufacturer gives - didn’t buy extra service. But no refunds/returns- if the thing is a dud - they will replace with a like kind /equivalent within 30 days.Happy with the staff - they are excellent! I recommend!

I stopped by late one night looking for a washer and dryer. I found the washer I wanted but not the dryer. Justin was able to answer all of my questions. He also told me they get 2 trucks a week and to check back with him for the dryer. Great service and great selection!

We went to Sears Outlet in Raleigh and purchased a new Samsung refrigerator. Justin was the associate that helped us that evening. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable of all the products offered. He explained their leasing options as well as the ins and outs with it as well. We will definitely be coming back and doing business with them again as the price that we got on our refrigerator can not be beat! This store has so much more to offer than just appliances!

I was hesitant to even go here due to the reviews. But when Lowes wouldnt work with us, we had no other affordable options. I guess everything happens for a reason.We had two different associates helping us with the sales. I wish I caught their names. They were very sweet, helpful, patient, and informative. They didnt steer us into anything we didnt want (other than the obligatory warranty upsell). We were looking for cheap and functional and they helped up search the store for the lowest prices. We didnt care about brand, matching, scratches, or dents.The selection at the store is great. Rows and rows of options.We met the manager fellow at night who worked with the computer system to get us the best deal he could with the sticker prices corp set.The next day for pick up, met the general manager, told her of our excellent service and promised a positive review.Then the warehouse guy brought equipment out and loaded us up. The only effort I had to put in was strapping into truck bed.We were very happy with our experience and would recommend others to stop by. Even for scratch and dent options, our washer is clean. They had at least 6 of the same model to pick over and decide. Cant beat it for brand new, never used appliances.

They have an extensive inventory of appliances, some are damage and some arent, thats why you get the low price. Friendly staff. All we had to do was look through their inventory and find the best price and the best condition. We will definitely be back next time we have to get another appliance.

Bill was incredibly helpful.I came in to buy a fridge. Found one. I was concerned about it fitting. Bill saw my current photos and measurements and was convinced it would be a great fit. He still let me run home and take more photos and measurements. I came right back and bought the fridge. We were able to schedule next day delivery! The fridge was 40% off for a ding over the door handle and an extra 10% off for the holiday sale.Then I went to look at stove tops... And found one that fit for 50% off... And then a vacuum also 50% off.The stove installers were going to contact me. I was so happy because they were also able to come out the next day. All delivery and installation technicians did a great job communicating arrival times and installing the items.

Soon well be headed back for a refrigerator. One thing to note, however, is that the online inventory isnt always up to date, so its best to call first if you see something online that youd like to look at in person.

Save yourself a headache and dont shop here. Defective products dont carry the same warranty as those purchased at a real Sears store. I was quietly told by a sales rep here, several months after my purchase, that basically everything here is sold as is.Updating my review as I tried for 6 months through dozens of phone calls to this store and the special warranty group to get my defective refrigerator fixed with no success. I dont think I have ever had a worse buying experience in my life. The management at this Raleigh store are completely unconcerned with customer satisfaction. Too bad theres not an option to give zero stars. I see other reviews comparing this place to a used car sales lot. But these guys make the worst used car sales people look fabulous. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.Update: I see some recent good reviews have appeared. It seems odd that several of them were posted on the same day by users who have no pictures and have no other reviews on Google. With the large amount of bad reviews this place has (by obviously real customers), I have to question the validity of these positive reviews.

I wish I could give a half a star or none. I have a feeling that this store will be next on the list that Sears/Kmart closes. I would recommend shopping here for rental properties because most of the equipment is banged up. The telephone number didnt work for the two weeks I was in contact with them.One of the managers named Joe sleeps in the back (through his own admission while I was in the store and overheard it) and when he does come out he looks annoyed. You will never know whom the managers are because they dress in blue jeans, plaid shirts, baseball caps, and sneakers. While I was there at least four people approached me thinking I was the manger. The guys loading the equipment try their best but, with managers like this no reason they should honestly care either. The salesperson an older guy was not helpful, rude, and condescending. Then the kicker is, he tried to sell me an extended protection plan on my items which he probably gets commission off of because he pushes it on every customer.Even though Sears Outlet online offers delivery on items this store does not. They will write down a number for you to call, for a guy (not a business name) to deliver your items. I went to this location several times and there was only one salesperson, one manager, and one to two guys loading vehicles. Again, I only recommend shopping here when you have a lot of free time, patience, and for rental properties.

My husband and I went to this store to buy a refrigerator since we were on a strict budget. We got to the store, found a fridge we wanted and proceeded to checkout. The assistance we got was courteous, but it did take us some time because the woman helping us was new and only one other sales associate was present to deal with everything else. We went on a Sunday, and while I understand that day is generally slow in the morning, having essentially one person on staff was a bad call.The delivery was scheduled for the Saturday after the purchase, and we were told to expect a call to confirm a delivery time. My husband called around 3 pm the day of to ask about the delivery as he had not received a call. He was bounced between 3 people before finally being put on hold for around 25 minutes. My husband hung up, called back, and was told that there was nothing in their books about a delivery under our name, despite us holding paperwork saying otherwise. The manager was first out to lunch, and then gone for the day. Whoever is left at the store could not or would not do anything about our promised delivery, and so we called back that Sunday and finally got a delivery scheduled for Monday.I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The sales reps we dealt with the day of our purchase were very pleasant, as were the gentlemen that finally delivered our purchase, and they are the only reason this is a 2 star review.
