ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called to inquire about availability and procuring an item on their site. Guy proceeds to tell me that there is interest on the amount. Ok. But FAILED to say HOW MUCH & HOW MUCH THE PAYMENT WILL BE. I re asked and was hung up on with no callback.ILL KEEP MY $1300 + TAX & INTEREST THANKS !WHY WOULD I SPEND MY MONEY HERE?!?!

I am relocating to Raleigh. A friend recommended I try this company. I wasn’t ready to buy a $2000.00 washer/drier combo. I have to say I am amazed at the customer service I have received. From my initial phone call to my subsequent follow up calls I have been treated by professional and polite employees. They have been very accommodating to my needs even arranging delivery the following day of my order.This is what I consider the epitome of great customer service and excellent prices. Thank you! I will certainly recommend to anyone who needs appliances.

SCAM!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, SUBPAR APPLIANCES AND JUST AN OVERALL JOKE! Stay away from this business as they will give you the run around for weeks and when it finally gets delivered will not be what you ordered. Dennis, one of the delivery guys, was pleasant at first but once I started asking questions became rude. The owner [Ed] is beyond tacky and unprofessional. I saw someone else mention there being back and forth with someone named T and Ed; this was also my experience. Be advised that whats on the website is not what you will get. One star is much more than they deserve!

Needed new appliances for a rental property. I walked in and met Ibrahim, who treated me like a friend from the get go. He ordered a pizza and offered me a slice while I browsed!! Such a nice guy!! I got a great deal on a stove, fridge, microwave and dryer. They were delivered by Dennis, also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable like Ibrahim. I am already planning my next purchase for my next rental property with 99 Cent Appliance Center. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Do NOT use them! I had three items delivered and they destroyed my brand new, just constructed home. The damage alone is going to cost over $1,000 to repair. Photo shown is just one spot, and the most difficult to repair since it is the wood banister. The other damage consists of holes and scratches in the walls and doors.

This is a one stop shop. They have a little of everything including used appliances. When passing by I had first took the store as a common convenience shop however, they have everything you need for your first apartment or home on a budget. You can buy a refurbished stove, food and a pan to cook it on all from the same shop!Today, 08/13/16 we purchased a matching washer/dryer set and its being delivered and installed tomorrow plus a one year warranty! Talk about fast service!

We went to the 99c Aooluance Center store on Hillsborough street to buy a used fridge, we were surprised they had more than just appliances, this place got everything. The staff was very helpful during the whole process, we got our fridge delivered the same day, which you can’t get this anywhere, my fridge went down the night before and I needed a fridge right away, they promised to deliver it the same day, we got it the same afternoon. I just like to thank them for helping us out, we were able to save our food .

CAUTION DO NOT BUY from these people or any of their affiliates. Selling broken, irreparable machines stating warranty and within weeks no longer working. When contacted to send repair they continued to put off... tomorrow, tomorrow refuse to show up. Unending

I would not recommend this company. I had a washer/dryer delivered recently, and while installing the two men moving marked up our freshly painted walls. I called to inform them of the damage, and spoke with a man T who said that he would let the manager, Ed know. Still have not heard back. I spoke with another representative who, like other reviews, told me to text him his address. He was extremely rude and aggressive when I was trying to explain the situation to him.

My dryer stopped working. I called 99 Cents & Appliance Center after reading the reviews here. Very nice technician. He came in and completed the dryers repair work pretty quickly. I highly recommend them... Thank You!

After searching online for a washer and dryer we located this store and decided to check them out. As soon as we walked in, we noticed that they had a lot of washers and dryers in stock so there was plenty to choose from. The manager of the store helped us make our choice and gave is a really good deal. The washer and dryer were delivered to us and installed as promised and we have been using them ever since with no problems. I would highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a good deal on a used washer and dryer.

You dont get a BMW for the price of a Kia, OK? This is a good place to get refurbished washer & dryers and their 1 year warranty is legit. Bought several things here, Ill probably buy several more. Good stuff for the price.

They hit my car with the delivery van while I was in the store and had no intentions, and if they did, no urgency or concern to come inside and let anyone know. Luckily a lady saw it and came in and told me while the delivery guys didn’t make eye contact and kept unloading while I waited for the police. So, while I was distracted, they charged us $600 for a set that looked good in the store. I’m 99.9% sure this is NOT the set they delivered. It leaks and is extremely loud, rusted and falling apart, dryer squeals and takes almost two hours to dry a load! We called them to come out to the house to see the piece of craps that they delivered and how they leak and how old and we were told it was normal and it’s just because “they’re old”! So why were we charged $600???? Also, it took them over a month before the person ever showed up to check it out. You’re better off getting a nice set off Craigslist for $100 than dealing with this place. It’s definitely a rip off!I wish I cold post the video of the washer at work but I’m not sure how.

THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS. I had a problem with some appliances I purchased, but I was willing to look past it because things happen. HOWEVER, when I called in and asked to speak with a manager because I didnt have time to go down to the store today and I figured they could help.... he said he isnt available... so logically I asked, when I would be able to reach him and the employee on the phone raised his tone and said NEVER. I was taken back and I repeated never? and he yelled, YEAH NEVER and then abruptly HUNGUP on me!They are rude, crooks, and Ill be damned if I ever come back here again. Making sure my friends and family never come here again.Read the other reviews, this place sucks. Time for some new management.

I was skeptical at first, but I also needed a washer and dryer quickly and for a good price. The 99c and appliance center did just that. I picked out a set, and it was delivered and installed the next day. I was very appreciative because they dont usually do deliveries on Saturdays but they made an exception in order to better serve my needs. Also, initially the timer on my dryer was not working correctly, so I called and explained what was happening and they said they would either fix it or replace it-- which they did. These are not brand new appliances, but they serve their purpose, and the one year warranty is honored. I would definitely recommend buying appliances from the Appliance center.

I purchased an appliance online and never received the email confirmation the website said I would. I called to cancel and they basically refused to cancel it. So after being told twice they’d call me back to set up delivery. 3 weeks later I still haven’t heard from them and never received anything from them yet they’re fighting with my bank over the $420 I gave them online for the washing machine they never gave me. Theses guys are idiots.

I came here 4 years ago and bought a washer and dryer, my washer machine broke 2 days ago and after going to Lowes and HomeDepot I thought why not go back to 99 Appliances and see what they have. As always Abraham (owner) gave me a great deal on a refurbished washer that I saw at Lowes earlier for $750, plus he gave us a year warranty, (warranty: he will fix it or replace it with a comparable model). He also took my old washer machine and promised to give me a great deal for a new dryer. He also has brand new washer, dryers and refrigerators. Why spend big bucks when you can get a great deal here. Ask for Abraham.

I bought a washer and dryer from them. They were wonderful to deal with. Delivered it the next day. I was having trouble with the dryer drying my clothes, which turned out to be my vent. When I called to have it fixed, someone stopped by that night to take a look. Great customer service!

I highly recommend this place. Need a great deal...they have them. I have a family of six. T is the name of the man who helped us at the store. He went out of his way to make sure everything was just right for us.We bought a used LG fridge and a new King mattress set. T made sure everything went well without any glitches. He made sure the fridge was tested and working well before having it delivered. When he did, he found that the ice maker wasnt right. So he called me up and was embarrassed asking for more time because he wanted to order the part and make sure it was excellent before the delivery. Of course its ok. Im grateful he did this.Plus, we get a warranty on used appliances?!!? You dont find that on Craigslist for sure. And their prices are right on.We will absolutely be back and Ill want to get my washer and dryer set with them. Need a good deal with good customer care...go see T. He wont let you down!

It is a self owned 1$ store. Its a bargain store that also sells used washer and dryers and offers miscellaneous things you would find at the dollar store. I found agitator dogs for a washer on Sunday while all other parts stores were closed. It was awesome and surprised they had the parts.I would return and shop if I need any cheap things I need like from the dollar store.

Great people and products, my washer was delivered last week, working great, also got a 1YR warranty.

Steer clear of this place. Of the three appliances I received, two did not look like the pictures and had significantly more damage than the pictures implied. The delivery people screwed up the wall and put HUGE gouges in my hardwood floor in front of all three appliances. Huge. They also shoved one of the floorboards so hard it created a big gap that I had to go fix. When I called and complained, they claimed the gouges were already there. I know this was a lie because I was the last person in the unit doing work before they delivered the appliances, and took video of all the insides. They claimed my realtor (who went to let them in for delivery) could verify they didnt scratch the floor. She verified the opposite. When I tried demanding a partial refund, which is reasonable ESPECIALLY since the appliances were in such worse shape than advertised, they gave me the runaround and then must have programmed my number into their phone because they stopped ever picking up. This entire business model must be based on running just cheap enough that its not worth it to pursue them in small claims.tl, dr: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, THEY WILL DELIVER DAMAGED GOODS AND MESS UP YOUR WALLS AND FLOOR

Noticed this store was posting some ads under our business name. I was cussed out by an employee and told I would be put in jail and they would press trespassing charges if I attempted to come into the store and speak with an owner or manager. I have screenshots but it won’t let me post them here. Very unprofessional. I can’t speak for the owner but their employee Hana Masud was rude, cussed at me and accused me of threatening her because I said I wanted to speak to a manger or owner.

The washer/dryers werent worth what the man was asking for. I think you can find better/cheaper on a Facebook yard sale group. This place does have a little bit of everything though. Small so I wouldnt recommend anyone with a wheel chair or walker to try to walk in.

We bought a hot point dryer in June 19,2016 and the foreign guy said that it was new. We thought it was a great deal being it was $100 cheaper that the one from lowes. July 22, 2016, the so called new dryer would not start after only using it 8 times. We called the same day and was told someone was coming to fix it. The receipt says 90-day free fix or exchange. Its July 28, 2016 now and no one has come. We called everyday since July 22 and was told everyday that someone is coming between 3-7pm. I would not recommend to anyone to spend their money in this place. Unless you want to lose your hard-earned money.

Do not buy anything from this place. I made the mistake of buying a washer and dryer from them with a 1 yr warr. Now after 6 months they will not come out and fix it. After 3 days of getting the run around they are now saying I have to. Pay for the repair before they will have a repairman come out. Whoever heard of prepaying for a repair that has yet to be done. My only recourse may be legal action since they have breached their warranty and service agreement (as stated on the bill of sale they gave me). So do not make the same mistake I made.

Im actually a repeat customer from when they were in Tower Shopping Center and at their location on Hillsborough St. As of 2 weeks ago, this is My third set and they totally ripped me off. Clothes come out dripping wet. Even after an extra spin cycle. Called and the owner came out. Stayed 5 minutes. Still not working. May as well still be going to laundromat. Single mom. Dont have time or money to waste.

Great store for used appliances. 1 yr. Warranty, friendly salesman, and they accept deposits. Only reason for dropping to 2 stars is they keep all of your deposit money if you are unable to get appliances.

I went on December 20, 2014 to the 99 Cents and Appliance Center on 5619 Hillsborough St. Ibrahim Shteyh, the Manager helped me pick out the washer and dryer for my needs. I purchased a late model Kenmore EliteSunday Dec 21, Apex Appliance Repair installed the machines, ran through the cycles and showed me how to use them correctly.I ran a small load of T shirts and everything seems to be running well.Follow-up Dec 29, 2014 after one week and seven loads both washer and dryer are working well.

Do not buy from this store or any store affiliate with this store. The owner Abraham Ed is rude and a terrible business man. He workers are overworked and stretched then I have been without a dryer for a week. I regret evening going through them. Do not answering to any of their Facebook post!!!!! 1 star is too many to give.

Went to this place spent 211 dollars on a washer and to have it delivered. It came and never worked not one time. Called and was told to text and number with my address and the problem. I did that was in February, its now March and I still havent seen anyone. They refuse to return the money but claim will fix it. Oh and I brought a 9ne year warranty. What a waste of money and time

My familys washer and dryer died within a week of each other, so we needed working appliances quick on a tight budget. After finding this business ad for $99 appliances on Craigslist, we bought a refurbished washer with a 30 day warranty and a refurbished dryer with a 1 year warranty from them on September 14, 2014. Both appliances were clean and have been performing great, washing and drying several loads of clothes per week. Together with tax they cost less than a single new appliance would have, so we saved a lot of money and got working appliances in a pinch.The interior of the store was a bit cramped with washers and dryers actually placed along aisles blocking merchandise on shelves, but the staff was friendly and helpful, answered our questions, and was not pushy at all. A salesman took us straight to the appliances we wanted to see and helped us pick the right ones for our needs and budget. After picking our appliances and paying for them, we drove around to the back of the store and the staff helped us load our alliances. When we need to replace these appliances, we wont hesitate to do business with them again. Highly recommended to save some money and get working appliances.

Do not buy appliances here. They are refurbished by the store, and quite poorly. Within a year my washer needed a $150 part because they installed the part improperly.You are better off buying new

I started talking to the gentleman yesterday. This morning I texted my info like he asked, so he could put order in, then would call me with delivery time and take my payment. Now at this time, he could have told me delivery eould be 50.00, but he didnt. Itold him I didnt have to come down and pick it out, that he could pick one for me, and he was fine with that. He texted back to confirm he got my info. I hadnt heard anything and it was 1:00pm, so I texted and got no response. I then called a little after 2, and he answered the phone and was talking to me and someone else at Same time. I had to remind him of everything, then he tells me ok, so it doesnt matter what it looks like and its 50 delivery fee. I told him his ad states free delivery, he wanted to argue that, that was for sets only and when I told him it didnt mention sets, he wanted me to find it and send to him, then we would talk about getting one delivered. I informed him this should have been said yesterday, that I passed up a lot of good ones that were cheap, because he delivered for free. I quickly found the ad on Marketplace and sent him screenshots, and asked if he would call me to tell me when it would be delivered...Well, no surprise he hasnt called back, and has now lost a sale. I will also make it my mission to make sure everyone is informed before they buy from him or his two stores. I found one that cost me 82.00 and it will be delivered Free. it was better to learn they are shady before buying and needing to use their warranties. I also had a newer washer that only needed the latch fixed to give them...It truly is there loss, and my gain. Buyer beware!

This place is Trashhh! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM you are better off going somewhere else! How you go and pick something out but don’t get what you picked and it was dirty all on the inside and out on top of that. Also they try to cover up damages with spray paint smh because mine smelled just like it and the paint was peeling off. Garbage go somewhere else and the manager was rude as hell.

They delivered it to her house dryer was not working so they sent a replacement the next day. Still not workimg the guy they sent out was rude blaming the outlet. She had her an electrician look at the oulet it was functioning fine. The receipt clearly says 7 days for refund. The next day she goes to the store for a working dryer. The guy doesnt want to be bothered hes yelling screaming. She lets it go, comes back on the 7th day with a cop reason being all he does is yell and scream doesnt let you get your point across. So the cop finally makes the guy give the refund. Or so we thought, she calls her bank the guy TOOK OUT what her refund amount was. So now he has the washer and dryer back plus the additional money he took that was the refund. She calledthe bank reported it so at least for now she will get back the money he stole from her.

AVOID!! I purchase a washer and dryer for my rental property. They never supplied me with a receipt or contract for the guarantee. They They never told me that they did not hook up the washer properly. they let it drain into the sink! I discovered it months later when I was able to do a walk thru. then 6 months later the washer began to leak badly. Now Abrams informs me that its a 50.00 charge for the service people to go out! I was never informed. It has taken me 6 months to get them to get out there, I am having to charge my credit card for this service that I was never given written information. This last time he couldnt find the last work order that he said he prepared. Now he has problems with his printer- its always something. go on craigs list and get a better one. They are quick to take your money and deliver the goods but if you need help then forget it!! the washer and dryers are POSs.

There is a $50.00 processing fee through a company called ACIMA. There was no mention of this fee and I was only going to use 90-day same as cash...not financing. So basically the owner said ACIMA wants their cut. Very disappointing for refurbished appliances.

You can finance any item in this store as long as you have a job. 90 days same as cash. The have everything you can think of. Washers, dryers, beds etc.

Dirty, as soon as i walked in i felt very uncomfortable. The windows are covered in posters making it very dark and shady. Never once did anyone say hello, welcome, or can i help u.
