I’ve been going here for about three years on and off and even tho I haven’t gone too many other places this will probably always be my favorite. I only a few weeks ago started playing commander there after a 2 year hiatus and I instantly felt accepted. If live in the area I highly encourage you too play at least one game of magic there and see how you like it. Thank you Game on and the amazing community you have created
Definitely best! They dont over charge, they do holds to give people everyone a chance, and friendly informative staff. Thank you game ON!
Very friendly! They have a gaming room for players and host different events every day. Anything from yugioh, pokemon and magic to d&d. Decent price for some cards. They even will hold cards for ya for future pick up! Both the store and events (at least with yugioh and magic) are welcoming and enjoyable. If you like to card, ID say go check out Game On! Just be warned, there are some good and experienced players that play time to time, so be prepared for a good challenge.
Great place to get tabletop games, large variety of games. Staff friendly willing to help, knowledgeable about the differnt types of games.
The worst kind of business owner. When you hear someone say Twa greedy capitalists. that perfectly exemplifies this store. What they sell is reasonable on-market.However, how they treat their 2nd hand suppliers is atrocious.Theres a store in Wenatchee called Sanctuary that treats people well. If you offer a card to the owner, theyll gladly supply 60 - 70% value in CASH.Game On? Not even in the same ball park. They have no interest in retaining a trustworthy relationship with their customers. I am disgusted at this practice, though I shouldnt be too surprised.Wenatchee was a wholesome city of great people. Puyallup is full of greed. & it doesnt help theyre one of two places on South Hill to go to.
Always a fun atmosphere. Great staff. Great products. Always willing to fix any issues customers have and always tries to order product if they dont have it.
A store with a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic cards. Also, other games. Has a wide selection of items. Someone who is a Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic the Gathering enthusiast will find what they are looking for here. The social atmosphere of the store is kind of stern and tense. I got the impression that the store employees dont really feel relaxed and they look at customers as potential thieves. They monitor customers every second and worry a lot about something potentially getting stolen in the store.
Not personally into gaming but my sons are. Great store with a ton of product and staff was friendly and helpful. When back in phase 3 of covid they will host games again onsite. I personally loved their visual displays.
Yugioh at 10 am Pokémon at 3pm its fun but its slow right now
I enjoy coming here. The staff is so pleasant - always a greeting, or a can I help you find anything? Also good, if you say (politely) that youre ok, you dont need help/just looking, they let you be. An introverts dream
Friendly staff and a variety of games. Including board games, Warhammer, and MTG cards. Plus a game room in the back that looks like it was setup for card or board games.
Great store! Always helps me with all my needs!
I was with a thick babe and i got her real moist at this store. Very pleased.202059
Excellent pokemon cards and there own made packs were spectacular
The best game store we have been too! Great selection and passionate staff 👏
Went to buy pokemon cards, they had what I wanted but they were a little more expensive than other places. Very friendly service
Great employees who care about their craft and are willing to give many recommendations on games, and will happily talk your ear off about what to play, even at 10 mins before closing!
I should have checked to see if they sell video games.. They do not. But they still had some pretty cool other stuff. Video games are sold next door. Its still worth walking in.
Very cute game store, several of my friends have played MTG here weekly. I use it primarily to buy D&D products, and theyre always priced fairly
My kids love their cheap “homemade” Pokémon card packs (made up of random stuff they pull). Great deal for the price. Decent selection and staff is always friendly when we go in.
These guys are great! Super friendly, discount on GW products is 10%. Fairly eclectic collection of games.
They are okay but the staff hovering over the shoulder is a bit much. I suspect they experience a lot of theft but treating everyone as suspect makes me want to shop elsewhere.
They are simply amazing and dedicated. Patient and family friendly. These guys are knowledgeable and refined in the very sense of everything they do. I will always be a customer with loyalty to game ON!
Good service. Lots of variety in product. When something wasnt in stock they offered to order it and told me where else would carry it. Their military discount is active duty only, which isnt a knock against them, just something that is nice to know before going in.
Awesome selection of games here, and reasonable prices considering they are located in a mall. Good size tournament room too. They have a descent selection of mostly standard Magic cards, but also have some cool older stuff too. Great selection of supporting supplies as well such as sleeves, binders and boxes. Overall a good mixed location.
One of my favorite places to shop at, they have an awesome selection of games and more items on stock here. And the sales staff are pretty awesome by the way.
Great place for Pokemon TCG. 3:00 pm Saturday usually. Casual play or competitive. Friendly environment
The staff is rude and condescending. As nerds we sometimes get a bad wrap. The employees do NOTHING to help our cause. Also, theres a game store in Lakewood where all of the games are cheaper, with a much better selection. If you respect yourself as a nerd, do not shop here.
I always get what I need from Game On! They are friendly and always happy to see us back. I love talking about games with them and would rather spend my money there than online.
Had a product default and was gladly given an exchange with no questions asked. Much appreciated. Nice selection and variety of all sorts of games.
The staff is always so friendly and helpful! The have a great selection of board games and puzzles! The also have a excellent selection of MtG supplies and single cards for sale.
Game on is an awesome store for the kid in you no matter how old you are... they have tabletop gaming events in the back room almost every day, staff is friendly and informative, bar none the best place I know of in Puyallup for your familys non electronic gaming needs
I went in to sell some singles... and was told they weren’t worth anything when they literally had to same card I had in my bundle on sale, right in their window for a good 15 bucks. I think the business was lazy and didnt want to buy. I think Ill take my business elsewhere. Sold the cards for about 50 bucks all together on my own— thanks GAME ON!
Ive been in several times and now I have joined there d&d game nights and its just fun there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are what you would expect. The energy there is positive.
Stopped in for a couple pathfinder 2e books and bought more than I was hoping for.
Excellent selection of many different games, cards, and books. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable.
Very cool store. Lots of selection. Prices are to be expected. A little high.
I love that these guys run dragon ball super tournaments, prizing is usually pretty good. The only real knock against them was the extremely low offer they made on my Yu-Gi-Oh collection, I sold it for four times what they offered. Very friendly staff though and Ive been back for many tournaments
I go here every week for pokemon open league, the community is great, the workers are apart of the community as they interact with everyone and are actual people and not autopilot npcs . Everyone is friendly never beef or negative energy in the building every week. Its a place I look forward to going every week and the only negative comment is that I wish it was more than once a week XP .
Staff friendly and helpful! Always nice to meet people with common interests. Also willing to teach people about new games.
BEWARD OF THIS PLACE!!!!! Hi I would first like to start out by saying horrible customer service the gentleman that helped me was very rude and tried to make you feel unintelligent definitely bad for business also as I have worked in retail sales for years and now as a successful business owner I am very upset with the situation that took place on my 31st birthday which was January 26 my kind mom decided to spend a fortune on A chessboard and had got the wrong one which had wizards and other things that werent appropriate for my children as I am a Christian man so I went back to the store with the chessboard in the box never used And they would not exchange it for one that I wanted I did not ask for a refund for money back all I wanted to do was switch it out The gentleman said no we cannot do that I told him that I was very upset and that he needed to talk to the owner or manager and then I would wait in the store until someone further assisted me so I sat around for 20 minutes and he came back and told me the same story I cannot believe that you could spend this kind of money on something and clearly get treated this way please spend your money elsewhere
Do not shop here if you can afford it. I used to like going here but every time I do I like it less and less because of how snooty and unhelpful the employees are.I went in a few days ago to buy a birthday gift. After looking at most of the store I found something and bought it. As I was leaving something even better caught my eye. So, without even leaving the store, I turn around and ask to exchange the first purchase with the second. The employee responds with a we dont do returns, sorry.I was stunned, I hadnt even left the store and you arent going to let me return the item? I figured that maybe he was new or didnt have the authority so I asked for the manager. She comes out and I explain that I would like to exchange my first purchase with an identical costing second purchase. Her Response? Sir, our return policy is clearly printed and circled at the bottom of the receipt. We do not accept returns or exchanges except for whats stated on the receipt...So I turned and left, got home, and looked into this Return Policy of theirs.Return Policy: UNOPENED merchandise (except all poker related items, collectible miniatures games, dice, trading card games, card accessories, books, mind puzzles, paints, drinks, bags, apparel, and clearance items) can be returned or exchanged within 2 weeks of date of purchase WITH ORIGINAL GAME ON! RECEIPTall the Caps are actually how they appear on the receipt but yeah... So... That except all part covers everything in their store... Actually, it doesnt specify Board Games but behold when I called and asked they said that any Board Games with miniatures are covered under the collectible miniatures games because the game itself is collectible and it has miniatures... The same applies for dice board games and card board games...In summation, even though I never even left the store with my initial purchase, and my desired exchange item wouldve caused them no loss in sales, they refused to allow me the exchange. Bad customer service, bad management, bad overall experience which is going to paint my view of them and make me not shop there again, Ill drive the 10 extra minutes to the next nearest local board game store.
Great service and a great selection. If you go to get many games, they will hold them behind the counter so you don’t have to hold them.
Havent had a bad experience there yet. Prices are what youd expect for a gaming store. Staff was knowledgable, courteous and answered all my questions. They even opened up a game just so I could look inside! Great store
Great staff, always help me find just the magic card Im looking for. Even with its like 20 singles they put up with me! Prices are fair, you will pay the slightest bit more than if you purchase online but when you factor in delivery charges it comes out to almost the same and you get to skip the inconvenience of waiting for your cards to come in the mail or stuff getting lost/damaged in transit.
A very friendly staff with a pretty good selection of products. Its a card and board game shop that does local tournament for dbstcg, MtG, and Yu-Gi-Oh. They also have dnd sessions. They sell sleeves and playmats for card games and singles for Pokemon and magic. Im not sure if they sell Yu-Gi-Oh singles and unfortunately they dont sell dbs singles. Overall a very nice store for card games.
Lots of selection, engaged and friendly staff, like games? This is the place!
Great selection, great staff and great selection of events. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are D&D, where a number of tables get taken by multiple DMs. Can be a little noisy at times, but you could positively view that as enthusiasm for the hobby!
Good selection, decent but not smothering service, the folks at work there are knowledgeable, and are even able to tolerate my greenhorn level with magic the Gathering.
I’ve been going here for years, place is always clean, has a large stock, and the staff are both knowledgeable and nice.
Open floor plan, friendly staff and a family safe environment. They have regular structured game nights and tons of merchandise covering all scopes of games. Wish I had one in my hometown.
Game one was pretty awesome lovely Place great atmosphere just lacking technology
Great customer service as well as great products! They make time for you and always have great prices
Love this store. I have spent tons of time learning about new games.
They have a great selection of MTG stuff.
Awesome place that has awesome advice on games.
This place is awesome and always have great customer service
Friendly, knowledgeable...our first time ever attending D&D night!
I went in there the other day on a whim and my eye was immediately caught by the fairly large star wars selection. But I wasnt sure what the difference between X-Wing and Armada so I asked the guy and he acted like it was the hardest question he had ever heard... I ended up purchasing Armada and its a blast but the workers there dont know anything and are really unhelpful.
Great friendly staff very helpful.
Very helpful staff and knowledgeable about the games they sell.
The selection of games are getting better. No other option for local game shop. Like the new store location.
Ive been in to this shop a few times. Their selection is good, their special orders are painless, and the store is well-organized, but their staff is terrible about greeting new customers (and checking to see if help is needed).
Very helpful staff.
I go for 40k stuff. Dont have a whole lot but a great store in general.
Love coming here to play d&d.
Customer service was dissapointing. The sales reps treated me like an inconvenience. Most of their games are priced $5 to $10 over online sources which I am happy to pay to support a local game store. My last visit the game I was interested in was just shy of double what the websites of miniature market, coolstuffinc, walmart, target, and more marked it at. The moment I asked if they price match I could tell they wanted me out of thier store. They didnt even care about my business enough to try to work something out. The only effort they put in was to convince me to leave . A shame to the Board Game Community.
Not sure what has happen in the last 6-8 months, but this particular store has lost my business. I don’t consider myself as a regular, I got bills to pay, but with this being one of the only gaming stores in this area, I go about once or twice a month to purchase a new games, yet that is not the case anymore. Lately I have notice that the once friendly and energetic staff has been replaced by some new staff members that are extremely rude. For instance, I always felt like when I walked into the store it was like seeing old friends again. The staff would usually remembered my name or by previous games I purchased and would make suggestions based on my interest. However, as of late hardly none of the staff will great you, if you have a question about a game they act like it’s one of the hardest questions their brains have ever had to answer. As mention in a previous comment their return policy is one of the dumbest policy I have ever come a cross. Most gaming stores have the usual, “7 days to return non open games.” Or something similar, but at Game On its pretty much all sales final or “If I have already rang it up in the system but have not processed the trans action there are no take backs.” Also same goes for holiday receipts once it has been purchased/ rung up it’s now yours. My suggestion to you is to go check out TerraCrux Games in Tacoma or Uncle Games in Tacoma mall.
They are an ok store for games all around, because they are one of the only stores for games all around. But the way they treat their employees is the worst. They keep the same 3 or 4 people then cycle through temporary employees in about a week or so. So bad
They hardly work with you when your trying to locate a game. And some of the workers are completely rude
I like this shop for its wide selection of gaming accessories. Only thing I dislike is the small space for tournaments.
I really like the place I really recommend it
Lol love this store
Way over priced
Friendly staff.They host FNM.
Wonderful Employees and Events!
There was a misunderstanding with my purchase contacted the manager and they made it right ..
Nice and helpful!!
Awesome
Love it
Oh hell yes!
