The coffee here tastes good and they have other drinks as well when I’m (occasionally) not feeling coffee. The staff is really nice! I come here often and now they say hi to me by name which is always really nice 🥺 lots of varied seating. I like the spot in the corner (don’t take my spot hehe) I like a lot of their breakfast food options also.Definitely need sound canceling headphones if you’re coming here to work though; since the music is usually really loud

The service there is terrible I came in there for a grilled cheese and tomato soup to go to only one person ahead of me But it took them almost 20 minutes… I almost was late to work… my Sandwich was soggy and I paid almost $20 for this how is there going to be over five people back there and none of them have a clue how to bar or have customer service skills if you ask me this place just be closed down if this is the kind of females are letting run their shop

I’ve come here pretty regularly, usually from 6am-8. Really peaceful and love that crew. But I think I’m gonna find a new shop. Come outside of those hours or when they get busy, the baristas are noticeably distressed. Often shouting out orders, creating a real stressful environment.I would NEVER recommend the drive through. Every time I’ve come, whether it is no cars, or 4 cars. I’ve had to wait 15-20 minutes. I think they aren’t understaffed, just disorganized. Might want to take a page out of starbucks book.

I love Anthem coffee shop downtown puyallup . But this location isn’t the same.. but then again I haven’t been to the downtown puyallup one in over year so maybe everything changed in anthem .. but their food isn’t good. I remember liking the food and coffee.. coffee is ok but man I can even finish their flat bread pizza and sandwich .. so if you want food then don’t count on it here .

Currently waiting in drive through line and have now waited 45 minutes. They are woefully inefficient. Doesnt matter if the coffee is good or not if the service is that terrible.Do better Anthem or youll lose customers.

So disappointing. My boyfriend and I would try this location intermittently but they always just got worse. Weve spent 15 minutes waiting in line with only 1 car in front of us. Weve both gotten the incorrect coffee before with no chance to go back in and fix it. Employees were without masks throughout the height of the pandemic which shows complete lack of empathy for employees and customers alike.Today we went for a coffee frap and a cold brew. Almost $5 for a cold brew that was literally chocolate powder and milk. No coffee and the powder was left in chunks at the bottom of my cup. Disgusting and so freaking disappointing. Will be the last time we go to any Anthem location, ever.

Wait till you get your order before you tip when ordering inside. Only inside customer and waited 20 minutes while they serviced and flipped profits from drive through. Customers not important-it’s getting those orders in and cash received as fast as possible through drive-thru. A few weeks ago I waited 30 minutes for a coffee and thought it was a fluke. Apparently this how they treat customers. Deeply regret ordering coffee and tipping because my time is valuable and for no customers to be ordering from inside and taking this long is pure rude and selfish. I will be selfish back and say please don’t tip until you get your order when ordering from inside.

Anthems coffee is some of the both creamiest and strongest Ive ever had, and its just perfect every time. The girls here are without a doubt some of the most friendly and kind baristas Ive ever had as well, and they are consistently that way, which is amazing! Anthem has become my new go to in Puyallup!

I work for Door Dash & when I showed up to pick up an order I watched as people that walked in after me were helped before me and when I asked for the reason I wasn’t being helped I was told that because I’m with door Dash I have to wait and that it was gonna be 10 to 15 minutes so I went to complete the other order at another restaurant next door to make the most efficient use of my time and not keep my customers waiting when I returned to pick up the order I was left waiting over 10 additional minutes. The staff was rude and in my opinion very unprofessional because if I were to walk in & wait in line for my personal order I would have been helped & my order done but because I’m with door Dash I’m told that I don’t get helped right away as I watch everybody that walks in after me both in person and in the drive-through get helped before me & this affects both my ratings & my income, & no one at The Sunrise a Village location seems to care or take this into consideration

This used to be my favorite place, but they never wore masks during staff meetings during the pandemic, and I saw a barista without a mask in the middle of the worst of the pandemic. I dont feel comfortable going there now that I know they dont take the safety of their employees or customers seriously.

The coffee is very acidic. The wait times are really bad. Was in the drive through line for 25 minutes with 2 cars ahead. They don’t start making your drink until after you pay for it.

Friendly and accommodating staff! Most importantly, the coffee is consistently delicious. Love this place.

The girls are extremely friendly and outgoing, however they are consistently out of most food items and have not fixed this inventory issue, they should shorten their menu if funds are an issue. Go when you have time the line is not quick. They also do not have white coffee*

One of my favs. The girls here know my drink. White Carmel Mocha... The best. Of course you must check out the menu and meet the fabulous staff!

Great coffee and a delightful assortment of munchies to go with it. They do change out some of their pastries so I cant guarantee they will have the brownies I am absolutely obsessed with.

Coffee is amazing, i am a coffee head and super picky. Smooth, buttery, nutty. Not bitter. Great food to boot. Must try

Cozy in front of the fire.Only three stars from me due to no sugar sweetener choices. I like stevia, which they dont have, and the sugar free syrup changes the taste of my tea.

Everything thing I have had to drink here has been great. I tried the black and white mocha and the pink guava lotus energy drink. The ladies here are very nice. I work in the complex so its nice to have a coffee joint here.

Great for college students. Such a good place to sit with your coffee and do some work on your laptop. Im always happy in its atmosphere. However, your bum does get tired of sitting in the hard chairs after about an hour. Bring earplugs too because this place is loud! Now, if they could make it bigger and have a much nicer bathroom--preferably more than one--they would get 5 stars from me ♡

The only place I can get a good dirty chai. All the other brand chains dont compare. I love that it tastes like a chai and not a apple cinnamon. I think I found my new chain to go to for coffee. The coffee is not bitter, which I prefer.

I love the different options they have here to eat. Very courteous staff. For a coffee shop they also serve alcohol.

Anthem has become an awesome addition to Sunrise Village! Any time I’m here I am greeted with a genuine welcome and always have time to review the menu of all the specialty drinks they offer! I highly recommend the White Lavy drink they have! ☕️

Coffee is fine, nothing exceptional. Atmosphere unwelcoming; multiple employees looked at me but no one greeted me, so I stood around until someone decided to help (I was the only customer at the time aside from an employee chatting with their friend). Employee who ended up helping me sounded frustrated. No menu to look at. Maybe I’ll try another location but I won’t be back here.

Smooth tasting coffee

I have been to this place twice now and both of them where bad experiences. dont get me wrong the coffee is good but the customer service and if the get your order right is where the problem is. first time I went there the guy took my card from me then asked me how big of a tip I wanted to give him when I said a dollar he just handed me my card back and never said another word to me. then today I went there to get coffee and a cinnamon roll for me and my wife. the box clearly says 2 cinnamon rolls for the price of one. so I buy them take it all home and open the box and I think is coffee cake or some kind of bread something but clearly not cinnamon rolls. I am not driving all the way back there to complain since its about a 15min drive there and I dont want to waist 30 min of my day going there and back. so I will just let people know on here. go for the coffee but do not expect a good experience

I love the cold brew here. It has so much flavor.

Service is the slowest in town, My coffee has been sour multiple times form the shots spoiling. The staff isnt the nicest or even aware, stood at the counter for a minute or two without being addressed. Anthem coffee never stops disappointing.

Edit: we have gone there now 3 times in the past month and the coffee has been horrible. The first time it tasted like sour milk, we drove back there to have it re-made. Then the next two times it just tasted water down. Its sad because we LOVED going to anthem but we will be going elsewhere from now on.Their employees are always super cheerful and helpful and very knowledgeable of their products. Im on keto and I ordered a chicken bacon ranch. I was totally prepared to pull the toppings off myself but the girl behind the counter went out of her way to make it for me. Plus my delicious americano with HWC and sugar free coconut syrup. Ive always loved the anthem in downtown but having it closer to home is so great.
