I bought a 2009 gmc from this dealership and in 3 months the transmission broke and the dealer will not fix it or help me with the problem after I paid $17000 for the truck if it was me I would never buy another vehicle from this beware. Now my family doesnt have a car thanks to Buick gmc of puyallup

So I just purchased a 2016 Ford F150 Platinum from Troy. I was minutes from purchasing a new Lariat from the local Ford dealer when Emma one of the internet agents reached out. I took one look at this truck and knew it was the one. Troy was great in answering all my questions, Even had a chip in the windshield I noticed a day after purchasing. Had transmission replaced and was helped by Leslie in service department, she was awesome with one customer while I waited. After politely helping him out she help me get on my way quickly. I feel as though they are short service advisors but felt sorry for her when another worker there was short with her concerning our fleet vehicle billing issue. She was professional and didnt show her feelings when another worker talked down to her.Great job Leslie!
My wife hates car shopping more than almost anything else. That is, until we went down to Puyallup GMC Buick and met Nick Arias. He was absolutely the opposite of the stereotypical car salesman. From the moment he greeted us on, he was great to work with. No high pressure sales tactics or BS stories on how “we better drive away with it today, or someone else will!” He helped us find the truck we were looking for and treated us with respect from the start. I bought a new GMC Terrain from Troy on Sunday. My daughter had bought from Isaac a few years ago and he was off but him and Troy work as a team. Troy was fantastic. Listened to what I wanted and got me into the exact car that I wanted. There was no pressure but great info. It was raining when I bought the car and when I tested the sun roof later that night it had an issue closing. I called Monday the next morning and by the time I got to the dealership Isaac had a loaner car setup and ready to go for me while they fixed the sunroof. Great service from these guys. This is the dealer you go to if you want to get robbed. Took my 2015 Buick there, which I purchased new, and am religious about getting serviced. I had a noise in the front axel area. They quoted me $3900 for a repair, and never removed the wheels. I took it to another dealer who found the problem to be a few loose bolts, repaired it for $200. This is the worst experience I ever had with a dealer.

I went in a into GMC Puyallup a few months ago after being referred to me from a friend. I couldnt find the vehicle I wanted so I ordered from the factory. Juan was my sales rep. He kept me informed throughout the wait. We met on Friday to workout the financing. I wasnt sure which route I wanted go (buy or lease). Juan got his steps in for the day during the bargaining stage, but finally got to where I wanted to be. Buying a car really isnt a fun process, but Juan, the sales and financing team made it easy. Id had given more stars, but I was told there would be recourse for not getting a second key fob. I offered a solution, thought it was accepted, but then havent heard anything else. Love the car, and the experience was great, but the follow through was poor.
THIS IS A 1 STAR REVIEW!!! I HAD TO MAKE IT A 5 STAR REVIEW TO GET IT TO POST.I was in a couple weeks ago to see about striking a deal on a used truck. Based on a manager stating in writing ... and with nothing down Ive got you somewhere in the 7 to 740 range... it seemed worth the 80 minute drive to see. Yes the large range given is suspicious as stated, but made me even more leary of the possibility of a deal. It already seemed to good to be true. The manager was very polite, but wouldnt honor what he had stated. He then told me that I should go to that other dealership and take their deal, as we are not going to match it. Basically he told me they didnt want my business and in turn that of my friends. I sent an email to the General Manager (GM), Mr. Houghton, over a week ago and have heard nothing back. A response back from the GM at least acknowledging how this experience aligns or not with their business model, would have been nice. While I understand them not wanting to stick to what they stated in writing, I still feel mislead and dont agree with it. It is difficult to find a truthful and honest dealership nowadays that will honor what they put in writing or what they say. Hopefully they can take my poor experience on as a training opportunity so others dont have to endure a similar one.
I found the car that I wanted to buy in their website I came in and started looking at the customer and Phil Q came out and saw I needed help and he was very kind and very patient with me making sure that I was choosing the right car. I got a great deal on my new Lexus and I would highly recommend to ask for Phil Q. I never felt rushed to pick something and he went above and beyond to get a chip in the windshield fixed for me would definitely shop here again with phil.
Drove 5 hours to get the truck. Nick had everything ready to go to get us back on the road. Even helped to install floor mats as he said there was a trick to installing them. The drive was worth the customer service.
Great people to work with until they get your money. Once you pay them they move you to the back burner and then continue to tell you different days and times your vehicle will be done. Seems to be the new thing car dealerships do. It has been 11 days since they had me come sign and pay for my new car and they still havent managed to get it ready. Sure glad I paid the extra money for the giant headache of buying a GMC.
So far, it has the best sales staff and creative financing available. Awesome selection of beautiful card. After my purchase I had 2 people ask about my new car. They had all of the necessary information and waited until I drove 3 hours to do thier jobs, only to find out my pre-approval was no longer.They do not respect customers time, only your money. 2 people at the dealership both told me they were worried about the owner would be upset for selling the truck at msrp.

Stop by this place to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. They were able to get me in the next morning. They told me 45 mins and I was out in about 30 minutes. Service was awesome. The employees are fun and enjoyable. Plus I got a discount and free car wash.

I take my car there regularly for maintenance oil changes and such. But I went in with a red light showing on my dashboard. They found out what it was and replaced the part 200 and some odd dollars later I was on my way home. Everyone there was very very nice polite I didnt try to oversell me a bunch of other stuff. I will continue to go there 4 anyting that goes wrong with my car.

After paying $115 for a key fob i was told that i would possibly have to pay $40 more to get it to work with my vehicle and on top of spending another $100 to get my car serviced. Im surprised i wasnt charged to have someone open the door for me my wallet is crying in the bathroom right now.

These guys were absolutely wonderful. They so out classed all the other dealers we have dealt with over the years we will not go anywhere else again. I think if I wanted a Jaguar I would insist we buy it from them and not a Jag dealer. No glass walls to hide behind...everyone shook our hands, greeted us with a smile and took a genuine interest in making sure we were looked after.Dave, the GM, came out from behind the podium desk on 3 or 4 occasions to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. He knelt down on one knee next to us while writing on the back of an envelope just so he could get all the details right.Carlos, our salesman, took my wife by the arm and led her all he way through without making her feel intimidated or uncomfortable - no easy task. He made sure we understood everything about the vehicle and even went so far as to hide a small gift inside prior to our leaving.Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I go anywhere else? Been meaning to do this for a while. I wanted to drive the car for a while to make sure the 5 star review. We saw Tyler Jones in sales who showed us around the lot showed us some cars and was knowledgeable and helpful about the features. He was able to help us get a good deal, even told us about Costco rewards program (got us an additional 4 figure discount on the car) as well as some other rebates. Appreciated the honesty. They let us drive the car home for 24 hours to test it out with the kids, etc. before we even signed everything. Sale went smoothly, they tested a few banks to get us the right rate and APR. Free oil changes for life is also good. I would return as a customer!

I purchased a 2012 Buick Verano at Harnish Buick GMC for a great price and really enjoyed working with John Silva, my salesman. The people there were very friendly, respectful and helpful. I would do business with them again, and am very happy with my decision to purchase there.
After some extensive research, we had decided that we wanted a pre-owned certified 2012 Travers with low mileage. Harnish Buick had one that we arranged to test drive. The evening before the scheduled test drive the car was sold, but when we arrived the staff was very helpful and diligently searched for the car we wanted. One was found at a manufacturers auction, and the dealer gave us a fair price for the car, with discounted fee for certification. I returned to test drive the vehicle after it had been obtained by the dealer and was happy with the general condition of the car, though it needed some detailing and very minor body work. When my wife and I picked the car up after it had been repaired, detailed, and certified, we were very pleased with its condition. The salesman was very helpful and courteous, as was the rest of the staff, and we would be happy to do business there again.
I must share an experience last week.. with Buick GMC CHEVROLET DEALER SHIP IN PUYALLUP .. My week begun horrible weekending 08-31-2019,My car went down, I was not going to make it to work. I Spoke to the salesman Nico.I told him my situation .He assured me that they would help me..I let him know what Im looking for, with my bag credit history, he assured me that they would take care of me..Well that they did.. Nico had me fill our am application online. They did the research...Called me back! Let me know that they hag found a couple of cats for me.. they pick me up . Thank goodness, I had no car.. anyhow they did am awesome job. So i have to say......im a stickler when it comes to getting good customer service. Always have been because it is really super duper hard to find good service now-a-days wherever you go. Im pretty sure my ma and pa passed it down to me but whatever thats besides the point. The point is and i wish everyone in customer service could take a lesson from this, is that Cindy, by far is in a different realm of customer service than anyone ive ever had to deal with. She is not only beautiful she does her job beautifully!! She is top notch and at the top of her game when it comes to dealing with the public and there automobile issues. Hands down theeee best. Maybe she should give up her spot there and start a school on customer service, because you i both know people do not know how to treat people how they want to be treated. I didnt catch the other girls name that was also working there but she was doing a fantastic job as well. (Im a people watcher). I also want to say that when i bought my car there it was the best experience ive ever had. The harnish auto family is definetly a family and treats you like your part of it. No pressure and fast service. If only this review could reach the masses. So hats off to all of you under that roof, especially Cindy in service. From now on this is where i will take my car and continue to purchase rigs from here as well. Yall are great!

I take my boyfriends truck in for an oil change every 5,000 miles and they are always fast and friendly. Never an issue with our appointment. Always out of there before we are told we would be and back on the road.
They worked with me, explained so I could understand, although I wish they would bring back, washing the car, or at least the windshields
This place did work on my truck. Part of the work they did was replace my starter about a year ago. When they put it in they left one of the bolts loose. No big deal. But that bolt being loose caused the starter to break at the other bolt, which led to my starter almost falling out or the truck. Leaving me stranded. I called Puyallup Buick GMC and they said they did put the starter in and to get it down there and theyd look at it right away. They called me the next morning to say that it was going to cost me over $800 to have the starter replaced. I explained the starter didnt fail, that their labor failed. Bolts left loose. The service writer then proceeded to tell me that they do not warranty their labor. What?? Seriously? I would not recommend this place for anything. Not for nothing.
Left super frustrated. Shady salesman ran our credit without explanation. We repeatedly explained we had our own financing. When asked if we wanted to try and finance through the dealership we said no. Loan application was presented to us as if we were signing paperwork for a test drive. Poor communication between sales people as we were transferred from person to person. Felt very uncomfortable and were treated unprofessionally.

Both places are owned by Harnish; both contributed to an exceptional car buying experience. Jared and Leanne genuinely cared about our familys needs, were hilariously funny, and treated our fidgety toddler with compassion. Though we came to this dealership to buy a specific truck this time, I know that no matter what car we want next, were making the trip up to the Harnish family of dealerships.

I came here only to look I did not expect them to have a jewel sitting in the back. I didnt get what I wanted for my trade but they took the extra time to explain their offer. I received a wash and a full tank of gas before I left.
Service is horrible to deal with ....no updates. Car returned filthy every time and gas used and not replaced. GMC is no where near Lincoln at Korum...wow difference.I will never buy a GMC again

Our buying experience was a 5 star. Our service is barely a 2 star. Very disappointed. Wont spend that kind of money there again. Service reps are rude.
