Greasy selection of beer, cider and wine. Rotating screens all over with 3 pages of beverage options. They also use the untapped app, it can be helpful if you want to look at their draft and bottle options. Awesome staff will give you a taste before you buy. There are many side options also.

Had an awesome time there. Nice selection of beers and food. The atmosphere was great and the Staff was awesome!!! I think I enjoyed the pinball machines the most since I hadnt played one in years. The place is kid friendly so bring the little ones. Seating is limited due to covid.

Stopped here for a beer after dinner across the street, its a nice little spot with a large selection of beers and ciders.I love trying different types of sours and this place has quite a few of them. Most of them were in cans I think, but that just means theyre easier to take home and drink lol. I always remember the places with a good sour, so I definitely want go back!

The worst service I’ve ever had there the bartender is unable to keep up with it patrons. She’s rude and then experienced I wouldn’t suggest going back until she gets replaced.

First time in. Wife and I liked it. Good vibes here. Located right on the main drag through Puyaalup it can be bad for parking at times. Good beer selection and cool hot dog options. If the dogs were fried or grilled rather than boiled it would be 5 stars for sure. Like the old school arcade games and board games they have to play. Will be back.

Super fun brew pub with yummy food, HUGE selection of beers and games. We had fun one lazy Sunday just hanging out and playing games here. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The music wasnt too loud. The only thing that was a struggle for me was trying to decide what beer to have with so many options and the fast scrolling screen, but out waitress was very patient and helped me decide. We will definitely continue to stop in here from time to time.

Bummed out they took away their gourmet hotdog menu 😔 but its an effect of the times im sure. Cool tap room but cant give a full 5 stars since they no longer have the menu

I think this place is awesome... the ambience I mean... If youre not into cider or beer, this place really isnt for you... what I think is pretty cool though is the pinball machines and a vintage tabletop video game...

Great spot to kill an hour or six. The staff is friendly and genuinely hospitable. Their tap and bottle lists feature beers from Seattle and Oregon, but CaskCades acts as Switzerland in the brewery battle between the aforementioned locales, serving only as a conduit to slake the craft-lovers thirst. And if you fall in love with something on tap, they are happy to offer you crowlers to go.

Fabulous. CaskCades is one of those places you want to go back to over and over once you discover it. Classic arcade games, pinball, large tables, board games, friendly staff, 40+ beers and ciders on tap, and an eclectic hot dog menu are just some of the wonders you will find here. They even have dessert dogs, if you have an adventurous palate. The only thing I can say i wish CaskCades had is more space, as there seems to be a lively crowd here most evenings. Give it a try.

Great new spot in Puyallup. Dogs were good. I had the puyallup fair and the ring of fire, both were on point! Ring of fire has jelly, but totally balances the spice out and yeah, its pretty warm ;) Lots of beers, try them out if youre wondering about one. Staff seems to be learning the ropes a little, but its a new place, Im totally fine with them forgetting a fork for my girlfriends bunless dog. No gluten free specific options, but I know my girlfriend would LOVE that addition. The guy waiting on us mentioned them getting different plates for people going without buns, since the paper in their trays is pretty thin. Wish they had some different pinball machines, at least one classic, but Im stoked theyre here, didnt get to give them any quarters since it was kind of busy. I can see myself coming here pretty often. Not the craziness of a bar, but also not Chuck E. Cheese, nice middle ground in there somewhere. Nice work fellas, Ill be back!Edit: came back for a couple different dogs and saw the pinball machines were 75 cents a game, no thanks, maybe for better pins. Tried the St. Helen and dug it. Changed to four stars.

This review is during the pandemic so take that into account. Couldnt sit inside so we sat outside and ordered two different flights. And unfortunately they were some of the worst beers Ive had in recent memory. Mildly liking 1 out of 8 beers isnt normal. Its almost as if the taps were bad...? Dont really know, but Ive certainly enjoyed the wide range of beers available at caskades and elsewhere so it was really strange to come across 8 beers neither one of us liked all in a row. Bartender was friendly and great so certainly worth a second try after indoor seating is available.

Great service. Love all the games you can play at your table. Good selection of beers and the food was delicious. Will defenitly be back. Kid friendly until 9 so that is a plus for families.

There are other local hot dog places with better food.What really sets this place apart is the staff - very friendly and helpful. Happy to have a chat with you and make friends.But, the real reason to go here may just be the beer. One of the best selections in Puyallup.Also, all ages friendly during the day and evening.

This place was my go-to spot pre Covid because of the awesome retro arcades and great beer. They removed all of the arcades due to social distancing. Hopefully they bring this back because its just not the same anymore. I will change my review back to 5 stars when this place becomes more than just a tavern.

Caskcades is the best place to go for beer in Puyallup. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always helpful.

Always friendly, welcoming, warm, and fun. Great selection of ciders and beer on 33 rotating taps with growler- and crowler-fill options available as well as a variety of bottles and cans. I never fail to find a great conversation whenever I stop on for a visit. Plus, their events are great fun and the tap takeovers usually offer giveaways from the breweries.

This is our favorite place to relax and have a drink after work. Or after the farmers market. Or after dinner. Any time really. Also, the kids ask to go here all the time to play games and eat hot dogs, and thats also a great time to relax and have a drink. I like that they leave you alone to play your games or talk. Theres a neat selection of board games (Settlers, Monopoly, etc), card games, and old school arcade games, even some pinball.Hot dogs are fine, great selection of them. Cool exotic variety. Other kitchen choices limited but all comfort foods reasonably priced. Plenty of local brews.Glad to have this place in town. Its the only place I go back to.

Its been awhile since Ive been in. Sure do miss Kurt (Superman) working there. But always a great time. Im not a big beer drinker and I really dont know yet how to pick them. So the fact they are so knowledgeable and helpful, is amazing.They point me in the right direction, each time.

Nice place to gather with a few friends and hang out. Food menu has fancy hot dogs with stuff on top and a few other items. Drink selection is pretty big and rotates often. Staff has always been nice and attentive. Always a good time.

Great service and beer selection. Tried the fried green beans which were good but could have been a little crispier... they are also trying out their new air fryer which I appreciate. I would give a five if it were not for the screaming child, while I can appreciate a family friendly place, I also come to these places NOT to hear kids.

Both of the owners are great! That atmosphere is amazing and it is a great environment to bring your family. There is 33 beers on tap and it is constantly changing, all of the employees have great attitudes and Are willing to help you however they can. I look forward to recommending this place to my friends and family. We enjoyed the visit and look forward to coming to back soon.

Finally made it to CaskCades. We went for trivia (The Office and Parks and Rec - how could we not?), but will go back because we really enjoyed it. Great service on a busy night! Everyone was super friendly and my cherry cider was delicious.

Locally owned bar with a great beer selection. They had a nitro beer on tap that was great. Taps rotate so always something new to try. I had their Chicago dog on my last visit and looking for to another one. Low keyed, family friendly environment. Worth your time to check out.

Nice, clean, quaint little place that is pairing quality craft beers with a fun family friendly gaming atmosphere. Besides the 3 pinball tables and assorted classic stand up arcade games, there are several shelves full of classic and newer boardgames. Tables are large and rooms enough to play on. Food was good and served quickly. Had the meat pie and one of the dogs. It is always difficult to spend over $5 for a dog, but it was good. Would prefer to have fries or tots, but that would likely complicate the kitchen to put in a deep fryer. The meat pie was enough for a lunch, but, I would have been disappointed in it as a dinner entree. Service was friendly and attentive. Didnt try any of the beers, but the artisanal root beer on tap was delicious, just the right combination of bark, smooth and sweet.

Great place to grab a drink and try out area craft beers! Owners are super welcoming and always looking for feedback on how to make the atmosphere better. You can tell they are committed to keeping their customers happy as they have already made changes to improve. Bring the kids and play a board game or play the Star Wars pinball! CaskCades is already great, but I see it getting better and better with the dedication shown by the owners.

My friend brought me her for the first time today, and it was one of the most laid back and enjoyable environments Ive been in a while. The ambiance was great, they had a raffle tonight for some pretty cool prizes. Their hot dogs are absolutely amazing and their rotation of beers is absolutely excellent. If youre a dark beer fan, their #26 porter was excellent.

We went here to meet a friend that comes here often. It was our first time coming here. Ive known about CaskCades for a while but kept forgetting about it when we wanted to go out. We were impressed! They have about a half dozen old arcade games, a lot of board games, and a gaming console that has Sega, Nintendo, and a lot of other games pre loaded on it! The beer was amazing. We didnt try the food this time but definitely will next time!

As close to a board game bar as I can find in Pierce County. My wife and I went here for dinner after she got off the Sounder Train - its about a 30 second walk from the train station. My wife is close to vegan because of dietary restrictions - so the vegetarian franks are good, but pretty much all of their menu items have cheese or bacon - she got something that was good but had to have them hold half of the ingredients. I had the mac and cheese dog and it was great.The board game selection could be improved - theres some monopoly and whatnot, and a few newer strategy games. We were there for a short bit, so just played Timeline. They also had Settlers of Catan and a few other good games, but Id love to see the selection improved.

Family fun! Please set up a shop in Seattle! We need more casual family friendly restaurants!

And lets be honest, anytime I can beat the hubs at Super Mario Bros. for bragging rights is a good night. Super staff, awesome atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

Fun, laidback atmosphere. Love the games and all of the beer and cider options. Some of the dogs seem a little weird. I think that the menu could benefit from a couple of still fun and unique but more normal options in stead of so many with peanut butter and jelly, but thats just my taste.

Very fun place! They have multiple table games you can play while youre there. A wide variety of beer wine and cider. Our server Kurt was excellent at helping us with different beverages.
