I’m very sad to be writing this review right now considering I used to get great service here, but after today’s experience I will never come back. Similar to another review, a new manager gave the worst customer service I’ve seen. I was checked in and told my broken inner handle would be fine to continue my battery service. I get called back shortly after and told they can’t service me because of my handle, even though I’ve never had a problem before regarding my handle. I tried to get an answer about that, and then the young lady told me it was because there was stuff in my trunk and that I could just move it. (My battery is in the trunk.)So I got confused and I told her I’m a bit confused right now, are you saying if I move my stuff you guys can do it? And she had to talk to the manager.Well the manager comes, and tells me it’s because they don’t have the expertise to change my battery.Can someone tell me if they let just anyone work here in the auto center? Please just don’t go here if you want quality service on your car. Lord have mercy.

Nice, clean club with excellent ticket prices and good line ups. They require you to buy two items per person which sucks if you don’t drink because everything on the menu is over priced and the food isn’t great. Drinks are really good. This was an excellent date night.

Bad communication in here. I was told on the phone to drop my wheels off and they would be addressed in the coming few days as their schedule was full, but the counter tech who checked me in told me to be back the same day because they had open availability. He was audibly upset that I had already made other arrangements and after some back and forth grudgingly agreed to honor that, but not without threatening several times to send my wheels off with a towing company if I should be at all late on pickup. Communication problem alone would have been okay by me if counter boy hadnt been hostile. Manager earned back a star for being solution-oriented and pleasant but when the front line service is this bad that alone wont redeem it.

I would give them zero stars if that was an option. The two guys that work there will attempt to upcharge you on anything/everything. After ordering a single tire online, to replace a flat, Walmart sent the tire to my house instead to the store as requested. I went in the same day and talked to a young lady (believe her name was Gabrielle) that was very professional and really nice. She informed me that they were slammed that day and it would be better to bring it in at 7am the following morning. I showed up at 6:50 and patiently waited then talked with a gentleman said he had to charge me extra since I did not buy the tire directly through them (though I purchased through their online store). He said Walmart would NOT be able to warranty the tire. I then asked how much would it cost to order two appropriate tires through him and he quoted me a price that was $40+ higher than Walmarts online price for the exact same tire...keep in mind that the price he quoted did not include removal, mount, balance, and warranty. Three days later I received notification that the tires had arrived and were ready for install. I had to work so my wife went to get the tires changed. When she arrived she talked to Ed and Ed told her that it was store policy that all four tires had to be replaced at the same time. I called to talk with Ed and he very politely passed me to his boss/supervisor. When I asked why this was never a part of earlier conversations the tire center supervisor became belligerent and informed me again that this was there policy.Cheese and rice...I just wanted two tires, that were slowly leaking air, to be replaced and once again Walmart employees turned a seemingly easy task into an abortion. I look forward to a day when I can talk with someone who believes in mutual respect...

The tire center very rarely answers the phone. I had to call multiple times on multiple days to get someone to answer. My first appointment, I went in person to schedule and it somehow didn’t go into the system so when I showed up there was no appointment, and the staff informed me they do not take “walk in” installs. They were able to schedule me another appointment on a different day. So three Trips to Walmart to get tires installed. It took them 3 hours to install my tires. When installed they didn’t even put the tire caps back on the stems, or wipe off any of the grease around the tire from installing it on the rim. Save your time, go to discount tire or somewhere else, it’s worth a few extra bucks to have your stuff done right with attention to detail. If they forgot stems and didn’t care to wipe off the installation grease what else could they be cutting corners on? This is the safety of your life, loved ones and vehicle we are talking about. You can do better Walmart. Big store, little quality control.

No department in Walmart deserves more than three stars. His there can be people working there that totally ignore you. Im standing at the counter. An employee sees me and need an assistance. And walks right by without asking can I get you some help this is not my department. They need to pay people more to get them to care more about doing their job properly.

Horrible experience! Completely incompetent. I had an appointment scheduled a week ago and was notified via text as a reminder that my tires I ordered had arrived and to be there 15 minutes early for my appointment. It wasnt until I arrived (25 minute drive) that I was notified that they didnt have all 4 tires to complete the installation. Take 2, so I scheduled my next appointment a week later to ensure the 4th tire had enough time to arrive. I came in this morning for my 2nd scheduled appointment. Only this time they told me my car was too low to the ground to be jacked up to replace the tires. So, if you own a Ford Mustang, or any sports car with a stock suspension dont go to Walmart. Not only will they most likely not stock your tires, but they cant even work on your car. Why even offer to sell tires or work on a vehicle that doesnt fit on your jack? Beyond stupid!

Your time is better spent going to another walmart or any other auto center. The gentleman at the front desk was very rude to me. At one point I saw someone push a cart of tools across the room and it hit my car. They called me to get my vehicle and it wasnt even ready yet and all of this is after rescheduling my appointment a week later cause no one was qualified to change tires... at an auto center. Im emberassed I even decided to come back. Dont go to this location.

I have to say I was IMPRESSED! I agreed to any replacement necessary, ( air filter, wipers, etc.) and actually received only the replacement of things I needed! And for $50 (for premium service, they do offer cheaper versions). Definitely will be back!The customer service was also outstanding!

I know that no one ever posts positive feedback. Well I am posting both. I like the prices of the oil & lube services which is half the price of Jiffy Lube for the exact same things. I understand the wait times because of the fact their prices are low everyone and their dog goes there.Now the part of actual customer service is something that definitely needs some major work. This particular location needs to hire a few more people especially on Sundays. The more people you can push through the more money you can make. 4 cars an hr with 2 people or 8 cars an hr with 3? Now back to customer service, when someone calls answer the damn phone. I waited (which I didnt realize) on the phone for 30 minutes and still no one answered. Called back a couple more times and again no answer. I know theyre not closed because 2:00 in the afternoon.

Normally a decent place for service been coming for years. But management has letting the shop slip. I came in with 1 tire job and 2 oil changes and Im told itll be 1.5 hours to be done. Why? Because the oil change tech is also the service writer and the cashier. I dont mind waiting normally, but lack of staffing is different. Hire and retain quality.

Ive been there to change 2 tires and do a oil change. They offer me to check the air filter and the windshield blades and replace them, if needed. I said ok. One hour and a half later, they showed me a receipt related to the oil, filter and blade service, only! I was there mainly because of the tires...and they forgot to do it! They just said sorry and ask me to wait for the tires replacement. Another hour and half passed, I paid for everything and headed to my car. Surprisingly, the blades were different from each other! Another wait and finally they replaced with an equal pair of blades.Conclusion: they have good prices, but the service is critical, unfortunately.

Absolutely awful! They either have limited knowledge or simply dont care. I read the reviews before going and most of the bad comments were about length of time. I figured Ill shop around for a while anyway so a little extra time wouldnt such a big deal but was still hopeful for under 2hrs. I was told that since I was fourth, it would be 1.5 before the car goes up and the service (oil change and tire rotation) would take about 20 min. Okay, 2hrs is fine. Total time was 3 hrs. No biggie.When I got into the car and pulled off, I felt as though I was riding a horse… lots of shaking. I couldnt turn around because I was almost late for picking up my daughter. A couple hours later, I returned and explained the issue. There were two gentlemen waiting. One had been waiting for 5 hrs for an oil change. The other was complaining that the manager was extremely rude to him. Well, I soon learned of the managers lack of costumer service and either she had a lack of knowledge in her field or she simply didnt care to share the information. She went to the lot to check under the hood of my car. I informed her that my 2 daughters (18 and 13) were waiting in the car. She left out of the employee exit, leaving me inside (theres a button behind the desk that must be pushed after dark to open the customer door). My kids told me that she was very rude. She just opened the car door and popped the hood (the kids had no idea who she was) and didnt make herself known. She didnt acknowledge them at all.She came back to tell me that she checked the work and everything looks fine. I was at a loss because I gave them the car one way and got it back galloping. She gave me no probable reason at all. I wouldve appreciated any wisdom since shes a technician… and the manager. She gave me nothing. One of the other customers pulled me aside and told me to ask her if they balanced the tires. I did so and she said no, its a separate service that I had to ask for. Okay! Im confused with why she didnt mention that they didnt do balancing and that was likely the problem. She literally said to me that she didnt know what the problem was and that they did all they could do, even though they offer balancing there. See the dilemma? Only after asking did she agree that the balancing could be the issue. Then she told me that they couldnt fix it that day. They are so lacking competence at this auto center and I have no idea why shes the manager. She managed nothing.Another thing, after the technician dealing with rotating my tires finished up, I saw him through the back windows driving my car in circles. He had to have felt the extreme shaking but he said nothing. Why?

We arrived early at 7:50 before they opened. It was 8:20 when they finally took my info after they took another persons who came in after me! It is now 8:40 and I am still waiting for my car to be lifted. Not sure how long it takes a shop to prep for the morning but it seems like they know that they cars are coming and they OPEN at 8. Not whenever they get around to it. The price is great, but be prepared for a wait.

Can I give 0 stars. Terrible service. 2 hour wait ended being a 4 hour wait. The staff do not know what they are doing. Other employees hanging out at counter flirting with staff. Everything that is their fault due to their lack of knowledge they try to blame on custmers. I will never go there again!!!!!

Very poorly managed. I ordered tires online and had to help the Walmart person find them. All tires ordered online they just throw in a corner. The wait is carzy long. They have three Bays and only one car was in one day and nobody working. And they open at 7 I got there at 9:30

No complaints!! It expected that they may not be the quickest to greet and check in people, the set up alone makes it difficult as they are in the shop taking care of cars! It would not make sense to have one person just standing at the counter hoping somebody walks up. They have always giving me a general idea of how long it will take them and have always been quick. I never felt like they up-charged to give me something without asking before doing it. For a service department in a Walmart, I think they do a pretty good job. It is in Walmart and it’s not at a dealership, so keep that in mind, but the convenience and price makes it worth it!

The service was adequate and the price was good, but the speed was absolutely glacial. I was informed that it would take 45 minutes to perform the oil change, but it ended up being about an hour longer than that. More than likely not going to do it again. Three stars mainly because of the price.

Service guy in shop said they dont test off battery. Lady inside said yes they do. My daughters car acting up. We needed to find the problem before it died. We Had to beat feet get to auto shop 5 miles away in traffic. They lost my business. Good thing we found out it was just battery cables why it was Staling not an alternator leaving her stranded

Purchased all new tires. They neglected to test, and did not see or hear (which I could hear on my drive home) the tire that was rubbing up against a bracket that holds my break line. I am no mechanic, so thinking it was a bearing I made an appointment with my shop. They immediately noticed the bracket and pointed out the large gouge in the tire from the rubbing. Walmart did replace the tire but still charged me fees and maintained this was vehicle damage and nothing to do with their tire install. They took no accountability for what could have blown my tire out while driving. Do not recommend these guys. Awful techs and worse customer service.

Ive gotten oil changes here before, but this was really obnoxious. Waited about an hour and a half and when I got back, the mechanic tells me that I have coolant leaking into my engine and that they cant do the oil change. Thats about a.... 1,700 fix. I regrettably didnt check the oil until I went to purchase a temporary fix. I check the cap and my oil- absolutely no coolant. The milky substance they tried telling me that was in my oil was just a little gunk around the cap of my engine (which is normal and from moisture)- I check the dip stick and the oil was perfectly fine. The only reason why I still come here is because they are the only service that only does simple tasks as this and I know they cant try to rip me off. Worst service ever.Long story short, one of the workers tried telling me that I had a serious issue to get out of doing a simple task after wasting about an hour of my time.

This place is total garbage. They told me 1.5 hours when there was only 1 car ahead of me, ok thats a little long, maybe understaffed. No, definitely saw at least 3 workers. So I do a little shopping and come back to the waiting area and see them pull my car in. An entire hour passes and my car is still in the garage with no other cars being worked on and ive been here for over 2 hours at this point. I will 100% never come back here. This is actually the second time and had a very similar experience and thought I would give them another shot. Fool me once...

Worst service ever. No one could have done worse if it was a nation wide contest. Took my wifes car for tires. First car in. Told them I was in no big hurry and would be back around 1 for the car. Thats 6hrs for 4 tires. They call me at noon Im expecting my car to be ready. No they tell me the tires they sold and showed me that morning they did not have. They showed them to me that morning. Witch means they sold them to someone else after they sold them to me. They say they can put on better tires at the same price ok fine. I need to come pick the car up in an hour. As I have to go to sleep before my graveyard shift. I show up at one still not done. Fine Im going to go to sleep Ill wake up come back at 6 when you close and get the car. That 5 more hours for 4 tires 11 total. I come back at 6 car on rack with all 4 tires off. They are doing the closing duties. Then tell me sorry its going to have to wait until tomorrow. My answer is that not going to work my wife needs the car in the morning and Ill be at work. Go put my tires back on it. Sorry sir cant we took the old tires off the rims and cant put them back on because we would be liable for your old tires. Ok put my new tires witch I already paid for on. I was perfectly calm the entire time until this point when the guy tells me no we cant were closed. I was the first car in in the morning. Then he tells me what do I expect this is Walmart. I get the manager over there. They make them stay late and finish my car. It took them until 8:15 to get the tires on. Then they try charging me the full price of the more expensive tires. And some crazy shop fee for them being open late for me. I almost had to kill someone. I kept calm. And will never return to this place for anything ever.

Awful. 4 people in line all complaining they had been waiting for A LONG TIME. One man waited an hour to have battery tested. One couple waited over 3 hours to have flat repaired. We waited in total, 1 1/2 hours for a battery core return. Sad. 4 employees that we saw. Must be overly busy.

Bought a full set of Goodyear Viva tires in March 2018 in June noticed a flat on the front drivers side. Took it in to the Meridian Southhill Walmart and they replaced the tire with a new one free of change. Excellant customer service! Thankyou to the team in the tire center who went above and beyond!

Went in for a standard oil change. Waited for 10 minutes before anyone realized i was there to check in. Then it took over 2 hours to complete my oil change after 2 cars that came in after me were pulled into the shop before me because the service manager didnt know how to drive a stick. Then another manager walked by while i was waiting and she was taking selfies on her phone. Seriously? What is wrong with these people?

Very older gentlemen working here who are extremely slow checking in vehicles. Been here since before they opened at 7 and I am the 4th vehicle in line. Its 7:10 am and they are still checking in the first vehicle though they started at 7 am . Horribly inefficient service. Think I am getting out of line and going somewhere else. Would give negative stars if I could.
