I shipped around a lot and found Auto Zone to be the best place to buy my car battery. But I have to say the best part was the customer service. I believe Dave is the name of the very friendly & helpful clerk who offered to put it in my car free of charge all while patiently answering all my mechanical questions. I will definitely be back for all my cars needs.

I love this place. I am always greeted when I go in, always asked if they can help me find anything, and always happy with my experience. If they dont have what I need, they find it and get it promptly. Great place!

Well their website says open until 9pm sunday so I drive there and theres a piece of paper taped to the door saying closed sundays until further notice . You dont see that until you get there. Guess thats the best they could do..Super F- but thats the way things are in a liberal country

Front counter people very friendly. Commercial department was horrible. Treated me like a criminal. I didnt have the pin number for the account. Tried calling the owner of the dealership I work for. No service in the store. Its a dead zone. We normally use the 6th Avenue Tacoma store. In and out in no time. No hassles. Never again will we use this store again.

These employees only know how to push button.and fast talk...every time Ive gotten parts they were wrong..had to go back question and try to exchange which that part aint in stock...get part with lifetime warranty..have to replace within couple years and the have no record....of course..wont go back...

Tricia was the best! She helped me get everything I needed for my vehicle and even pointed out the sales they had going. A couple items didnt have price tags and she got it figured out and helped me make the right decision. I left to pick up parts from the dealer where they wanted $60 for a rear main seal so I called Tricia up abs she had it on the shelf for $21. Great customer service by far

This store is handing out fake 20 dollar bills for change made to customers. With out having any security cameras to verify. Then they refuse to come correct by replacing it with legitimate money. So they are THIEVES!!!Double check your change from this store!!!

I had a horrible experience with the Puyallup Auto Zone on River Road. My father had gone into the store not knowing perfect English and one of the worker was very rude to him. I then went to the store to help translate and I spoke to the manager and he was also rude. We went into the store because of an issue with a car battery my father had just bought for his truck that wasn’t working properly. They told us there’s nothing they’re able to do for us. I don’t feel like the manager was very respectful towards us. He was also very cut dry and didn’t seem to care.

Went for 2 parts but they only had one. Got the other at another AutoZone. Nice staff.

Had what I needed when I needed it, I needed auto parts,they have a need for our needs. And they are always very helpful to me, iam by far a green horn in the mAcAniCk department. But they get me what I need and make me fill like a pro.......Out might take me three days for tie rods on both sides and and ball joints......lol I just said joints.Great customer service above all. I will have my daughters get there parts there in the future.

Didnt have parts

I heard AutoZone could decode a check engine light so decided to give it a try. I went in, I was greeted by Brandon. He looked up the codes for my 2008 Honda Civic, and even showed me a couple of videos on how easily replaceable the parts were. All of my questions were answered. He was very thorough in his explanation since I have no experience with cars. Thank you for your patience AutoZone of River Rd, I will be back again!

I shop AutoZone for nearly all of my automotive needs, and have been a loyal customer for years now. This particular location was new to me and Im quite positive I will never go back! I was meeting my husband there so I stood off to the side up front. Every employee (8 -10) inquired what I was doing and then seemed annoyed with my answer. I finally just left and went to the location on South Hill. I am disappointed with the customer service and think maybe they should retrain staff.

Ive purchased a few things from this store and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Last time I went in we had a mishap and the incorrect product was in the box after I got home and tried to install, went back in and the associate swapped it out without a hassle! Will definitely be back when the time comes for replacement parts.

They offered to order a part for me since they didnt have it in stock. I was told that it would arrive first thing in the morning but when I arrived to pick it up on our way out of town on a road trip it had not arrived. We waited around for almost 3 hours before it actually arrived. Overall the part was a couple of dollars cheaper when compared to the dealer but the savings didnt make up for the hassle.

I went in for a blinker bulb and wiper blades sadly this girl didnt know how to change them. I didnt ask but they offered and Caleb came out to my car and fixed them both for me! I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that helped us. He has a few times now and always gets us exactly what we need, no fuss. I will always go back here whenever we are in need.

Ok for a quick grab

Cashier acted like we were annoying him just by being there. Acted annoyed and continued to tap loudly on the counter, sighing loudly, and rolling his eyes until we left. Not even a hello or thank you. I will look for one of their other locations to shop at next time. Usually a friendly place, but he made us feel so uncomfortable, I dont want to return, and its less than 2 miles from my home.

So my brother and I take a possibly dead battery to see if it will charge. The man there told us it would take about 2 hours and told us he would contact us if it doesnt or doesnt. 2 hours later, no call and he said it wouldnt charge. So we take it to the AutoZone up the hill, and the battery charges with no problems. The man didnt even try to charge it at all!! Im furious. Do not go here if you want good service.

Pretty typical autozone. The workers knew where everything was and weren’t pushy for other parts like at other chain auto part stores. I was pleasantly surprised to find Griots detailing products eliminating a trip to Tacoma for my personal preference of auto detail products. Definitely plan to return here for that alone.

Not real big on customer service even though I was the only customer in the store and after a non employ went out to find what I was looking for even though I asked several times are you sure thats it with a roll of the eyes I was assured it was, so after I purchased it before I walked out of the door I read the box Rolled My Eyes and said this isnt what I wanted, So they apologized and said hmmm it Kinda looks like what you want!!!

Its an AutoZone thats for certain. Compared with other ones in the area the customer service here didnt seem up to par. Employees didnt seem bothered to help customers waiting. One employee said nothing during checkout. Literally nothing.

Actually they deserve five stars it is a great autozone so are the employees . not five because the Edgewood store near this location gets the 5 from me do to how freaqantly I used Edgewood . but hey this location always seem to have the part I needed more often .I hear some of them employees might need a coffee or a snack so they can get a boost for thier day so go help them out even if you dont need a part . they have shiny stuff for your car or things to make your car shine . get that stuff .

Great service but slightly more expensive than orielys

They have some parts, but not usually what is needed. I have been in here twice now looking for items they didnt carry. The first time, I wanted a brass distributor for a 93 Chevy Suburban. All they have are the cheap aluminum ones. The second time, I needed replacement lug nuts for a 95 Ford Escort. They only had 4 in stock. Not four sets, but just four lug nuts. These are common vehicles and common parts I need. Napa just down the road had the items bkth times with multiple options. I also have a problem with the customer service here. I was tryjng to buy some axle grease and the cashier rang it up wrong and needed a manager to clear the mistake. He kept calling for a manger to come up, and I stood there just over 10 minutes as the two mangers both kept yelling back to him that the other one would be up to help soon. Finally I just left, went to Napa and got the grease and 16 lug nuts cheaper and without issue. This store is a waste of time in my opinion. Even though its the closest part store to me, I wont be back unless its an emergency.

I arrived at 1130 am part was not here then told wouldnt be here till noon fed ex delivery show up just before 6pm because was told it would be here guess what it is in Illinois where it was supposed to be originally shipped from.
