After thorough research and visiting a few other body shops in the area, the staff at Cornforth went above and beyond from the moment I first entered. I figured my truck would be in good hands based upon the reviews as well. I knew it would take a few weeks and I was notified twice a week on the progress with my truck. You can see where the car hit me in the before pics.The pic with all the OEM replacement parts was great. They even painted it red for me. ;) Just kidding. They did an absolutely amazing job with my truck repairs. The real after pic is attached as well. The sun faded the pic out.

All staff I spoke to were very courteous and communicated updates on a regular basis.The work performed was done very well .The pandemic caused a delay in some parts.Other than that everything was done in a very professional way.I would strongly recommend them.

After I was rear ended in a recently bought new car I brought it to car star. This team is awesome! It took a little bit for the shop to get the needed parts. However the team was diligent about making sure I was updated and aware of the status. When I did get the car back it looked and was like new. I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Subaru of Puyallup turned me onto this shop as I need some body work done due to my own negligence. I went in, set up an estimate appointment and Danny the manager asked me a few questions as well as letting me know it could be up to 6 weeks before they could do the work. He then was kind enough to say let me look at what we’re dealing with. I pulled the car into the bay and was helped by not only Danny, but two other employees. They made sure I could drive the car in the meantime.Even though no work has been done as of yet I just wanted to leave a review about the professionalism I experienced and I have a very good feeling about this place. I’ll review again once the work has been done.

When we lived in Seattle we always used Moores Professional Collision. This was our first time using Carstar which was chosen by our insurance company. While the quality of work is excellent, there is a significant drop in service. They kept us up to date on our repairs every couple of days, but when it came time to pick up the car, they just handed the keys. No walk around or any type of customer service. We wont be going back.

I took my car to Cornforth-Campbell back in November after getting rear ended and they got it fixed quickly for me which I greatly appreciated! Last week I was drying my car off after getting it washed and noticed some chips in the paint on both sides of the bumper where they had painted. I called and spoke to the manager and she asked me to stop by so the head painter could take a look. Once they both looked at it they said they would definitely take care of it and cover a rental car for me for the day while they got my car repainted! Megan was constantly calling and leaving messages with updates on parts availability, damage done to the vehicle and the time frame of repairs and when to expect our vehicle back. They came in right at their estimate and 5 days early. Refreshing. I would challenge anyone to identify where or vehicle was damaged.

I brought my car here after I was involved in an accident that left me unable to open my driver side door. I was beyond pleased with them from the moment they took my car in. After being in an accident we brought our car in for repairs and had a wonderful experience! This shop fully inspected my vehicle to be sure all damage was found and properly repaired. We were updated at every possible point by nick/curt which was amazing. They made sure to send all information about the repairs to the at fault parties insurance so I didn’t have to deal with that headache. The process was extremely easy on us and I would highly recommend them.

Extremely polite. Extremely punctual. I loved the text message updates they’d send. Was said to be a 3 day project but turned into Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon. I was very pleased. Kirk was very down to earth. 2nd time using this Carstar, once back in 2017 and now in 2021, both through insurance but if it was on my own and out of pocket, I would still choose this place over any other body shop.

Had to take my car in for a nice dent and scratch on my car and they told me it would be about a week and a half and it took just that long and got my car back on time and even a little earlier than expected and it came out absolutely perfect and it’s like it never even happened! We brought our car here after an accident. They told us it would be done in a certain amount of time. They called us about a week early saying it was done so we returned our rental and picked it up. The car was not fixed, it creaks very loudly still just like it did after the accident. Also they left the passenger seat locked up so it would not move up or down. And the passenger door was extremely hard to open back up because the gasket from the door that was replaced was sticking out and put together wrong. I went to this place because of the great reviews but I am extremely disappointed with their service. We are still waiting for parts for them to fix the problem and the whole time we wait the car creaks and Im wondering if its even safe to drive.Update: we realized when we got our car back that something is wrong with the auto start button too. Just another thing wrong. Do business elsewhere!

The office staff was kind, helpful and friendly. They were accommodating to my schedule for the estimate and repair work. The work was completed as promised and on time. When I picked up my car, the interior and exterior had been meticulously cleaned. It looked like it did the day I drove it off the new car lot.

Fender and grill body repair. Initial inspection appears perfect. Service was fast with timely status updates.

The bid process was smooth and they were able to get the truck in quickly. However, just 3 hours after they started they called to inform us they forgot to add something to the bid. Keep in mind, the bid was done in person and the rep had a chance to review the damage and the work needed. As you can imagine this felt a bit of a bait and switch. Seems to me companies need to honor their bids. Otherwise, they never learn and will continue to undercut the competition only to pump it after they have your vehicle in the shop. Furthermore, we specifically talked about a lower trim piece that also had a scratch and a small dent. When I dropped the truck off I told them not to worry about fixing the scratch or dent but rather just paint them while painting the door. I got the truck back and neither was painted. Now it feels too late to ask them to fix it as they would have to have done it when they were blending the rest of the paint. I will just have to live with this reminder everyday of a job not complete.

Cornforth-Cambell did an absolutely incredible job on the repairs on my Mazda CX3. Every concern we had was addressed in a professional and polite manner. They were so flexible with our schedule and made the scheduling very easy. They even got us in earlier than expected! Repairs were done in less than a day and they even washed and vacuumed my car! Theyre okay, fixed my car and kept me updated, but I feel like theres a disconnect between employees.The day I dropped my car off I was told that I would either get a call later that day or the next morning, but I had to call them two days later. And on that call I was told that they dont usually do calls that early and I would get a call later that afternoon with info, but got a call back less than 10 minutes later.When I got the call to come pick up my car I was only told that I needed the deductible and nothing else, but when I got there I was told I needed the deductible and the check the insurance company sent me (even though they keep in contact with them about costs)Edit: I understand that I cant get my vehicle back until I pay for the work done, but dont claim that you didnt know about the check I was mailed when I told one of your employees about it when I dropped my car off, this is another case of employees not properly communicating with each other. Just because I was dissatisfied with one aspect of my experience doesnt mean you can blame it on me, maybe tell everyone that they need to work on their communication with one another. Im dropping my 3 star to a 1 star.

Want to recommend Cornforth-Campbell CARSTAR in Puyallup. The customer service there from Danny and his crew were so good. I was involved in a hit and run accident in August (car not seriously wrecked) and they waved my deductible of $1,000 ($2,800 worth of damage). They fixed my bumper, headlight, codes that were coming on, a huge dent near my door, alignment etc. all for $220 and washed and vacuumed my whole car. Car looks great. If you have an autobody shop u need...theyre the ones!

Started out good they were very informative and had a great communication with deadlines when parts were ordered & completion was however the car was in the shop for 3 weeks they overlooked a few part of the repair we actually had to bring the car back twice. They had a technician call out sick which delayed completion the quality of the work was good

Due to rock damage I had to turn in my vehicle. I got weekly updates with the ladies in the front and always willing and available to answer any questions I had. If I need any type of body service this will be my go to place. Highly recommend!!!!

They were courteous but took a lot longer than estimated. When I initially took my car in they mentioned they could touch up an area on my front bumper (as courtesy) but they didn’t, even after having the car over a week and a half, most of that waiting on parts.

Overall my experience wad good. I would give a 4.5. They were timely, polite and the whole experience was good. The parts were repaired well except at the end when I got the car back I noticed my bumper was scraped up where they had to remove it. They had me bring it right back in when I could and they buffed it right out. Over all Im happy with the results.

I was in a rear end collision in a Mazda CX-5. It has a Soul Crystal red metallic paint. I thought for sure that it would never match. I got an appointment really fast. They kept me up to date on the entire process. The end result was fantastic. I am really picky about details on my car. I’ve used this place multiple times and there’s always been a few shortcuts taken.Commonly they’re really good at what they do; however recently a car of mine and a shared owners was brought in due to an accident. Within a month later the skid plate started to fall off on one side so we brought it back in.They told my co owner that it was caused to new damage but that’s not what makes a bolt slowly come back out.The bolt came out of the skid plate because the shop did NOT tighten it down to spec and it slowly forced its way out, any damage on the skid plate is due to the bolt coming out and now “dragging” in some manner.They cleaned up the front left fender pretty good but at most they did was buff out the scratches that occured; all would’ve been fine IF ALL the scratches were removed instead of just most.The scratches were NOT there prior to the accident yet according to their business, they “did the best they could without repainting the fender and rear quarter panel.I’m leaving a 3 star because commonly they have been good and always said it’s a “lifetime warranty on the work they do”.Well here we are and showing they aren’t warranting their work.Disappointed & will be headed to businesses that don’t operate in part with this company or other ones ran by the same owner or team.

Ran over debris on the highway, called State Farm and then Carstar and arranged to have it fixed there. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and my car looked great when they were done. This is my first collision repair/insurance claim so I dont have anything to compare this to, but it feels like it went pretty well! They even navigated the COVID stuff pretty well, so I just wanted to say thank you!

Carstar did an amazing job! I hate to say Ive had to have my car repaired a few times but I have. This was by far the easiest and quickest repair Ive had done. All while still doing a great job! I couldnt believe it when they said just over a week and my car would be finished. Then to top it off it was actually completed two days ahead of time. I was very skeptical about whether every5would be done right. But it was amd theyve got a customer for life. Although I pray I dont have to use them anytime in the near future again.
