I received a $25 gift card, so I go in fully expecting to leave with 1 or two items. I wander the store for a few and find my way to the jewelery section. 1st off Im thrilled to see all the 40% off, signs posted. So i grab 3 different sets of glass beads, Stretch wire, and a 100 piece packet of findings. The gal rings me up and when all is said and done I leave the store with $12 still remaining on the card.Very cool to me.

The framer here is amazing. I walked in with a painting I finished last night needing a frame for a less common sized stretched canvas. I needed this for a wedding gift, and the wedding is TODAY. She helped me pick a frame out, chiseled some extra space so it would fit in the frame, offered me some gold wrapping paper she had left from another customer, and even wrapped it in some foam for me. The whole process only took 15 min. It looks great! To say I’m impressed is an understatement. Thank you so much, Clara!!

Want to like Michaels. 6 check out stations and one employee helping a backed up line of people. Some products are fair price while others are way high. Only come here if you have to.

I stopped here just for fun, to see what new craft things they had. Ive been ordering online for the past year, because of Covid. There is something about actually seeing items first hand in the store, makes quite a difference compared to online shopping. I bought some cute things, and stocked up on supplies for crafting. It was a nice shopping experience.

All your crafting needs...or they will help you figure it out. These folks know crafting. I actually went to the U.P.S drop off there on this trip. I mentioned how hard it was to find as Google called it ups not Michaels. I submitted a change to Google for them and the gal was very appreciative. Great people!!!!!

I always enjoy looking around at Michaels. I always find the most unusual things there. Prices are a bit high. I would probably buy more often if prices were lower.

Store clerks were helpful and friendly. I found exactly what I was looking for. Bought item and was heading home in about 5 minutes.

Went in for some fun DIY projects and fabric. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the prices are reasonable. I love some of the new spring items they offer also.

Had some good sales. Definitely biggest cricut and vynle products selection among the craft stores.

I love to go to Michaels. I love when they have sales on their semi precious gemstones.

This location has the standard array of craft paraphernalia, so if you need something like that, good to go. But order for curbside pickup, as they dont enforce their own posted mask requirements inside, allowing maskless customers free reign and doing nothing. Since they seem determined to contribute to Washingtons death toll, best to avoid going inside.

Had a great time. Saved a few bucks with the coupons they offered online. Found some really hard to find yarn and customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Clean, neat, organized, well stocked, easy to navigate the store layout and I felt safe.

Its above average, I dont have high praise for them, and no real complaints.

I could spend hours shopping here for any and every craft you can think of, they always have just what I need and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

We are new to the area and I was excited to find out we are only five miles away from a Michaels store. I found the store to be very open and spacious, even with a nice continuous flow of customers. I love how well stocked and clean the store was. I was especially impressed with the planner and sticker section, which usually looks like a war zone at most Michaels stores Ive been to. This store has a very large selection of planners and stickers- a planner addicts dream! I already know that I will be a regular customer at this location.

The South Hill Michaels is well located and has lots of parking. The store is well organized and clean overall. It can be challenging to find a staff member for assistance and sometimes the store could use tidying up.

From model rockets to rock tumblers, Holiday decor, art supplies, cake decorating, calendars, posters & prints, frames to flowers, wine crafts and craft wire...I could go on forever... Yup, theyve got it.Clean, calm, easy to navigate and big enough to lose your spouse if you wander off... Prices were good, staff is helpful, everything I would hope for and then some.

Im a tall guy so the stuff on higher shelves is easy for me to reach. I grabbed a small straw bale off a shelf not knowing there were heavy glass pumpkins sitting on top which were not visible. I caught one on my face which split my forehead. We were told they were display only items. I went to the bathroom to clean my forehead and check the bleeding only to find the paper towels were laying on the floor. Needless to say that was the end of my shopping experience at Michaels.

They always need more open registers somehow. Buying things can feel like camping out. But they have art stuff and Hobby lobby sucks.

I really love Michaels & looking at all the crafting stuff. My only complaint is the lack of acrylic paint available which makes it very frustrating when thats the reason you go there. I do get it though, its a pandemic and i dont blame them. I was just frustrated.

I love craft stores, and I would have given 5 stars except that it seems every time I go to look for scrapbooking tools in particular, they are often out of supply. Perhaps that is an example of the great sales I often miss out on. 😞This store is well taken care of and the staff is great. They are also very helpful when calling with questions, I always have a clear answer before the end of my call.

Love everything about this store

I was helped out well, as I had a last minute shopping to do for a special occasion gift to make and it was close to closing time. The staff were very kind about helping me find what I needed. The only thing is Michael’s seems to be more of a floral arrangement type of store these days instead of bigger variety of items. I use to love to shop there for the more unique things. But all in all having a fantastic staff that is helpful is a big plus for a store by far!

I just did the “buy online, pick up In store” thing for the first time and it was SO easy. The two lady’s who helped me figure out what the heck I was doing were very patient with me as well and made the process go even smoother. They even brought everything out to my car for me since I was since either a toddler!!🙌

First trip back after them opening since Covid closure. Some of the areas were pretty picked over, but they still had a lot of product to choose from. Lines were short and we were out quickly!

I love Michaels and many stores new options for “Curbside pick up” with Covid regulations, but I have to say Michaels version of this is not only a joke but also highly inaccurate. My email instructions said to go inside and find the kiosk that said online pick up. When I arrived I parked in a stall that said curbside pick up and called the number but there was no prompt for pick up orders. I went inside to find the kiosk that said to press the button for pick up orders. I pressed the button that apparently signaled for someone to come assist me but waited almost five minutes and nothing happened. There was a michaels associate standing near me staring but wouldn’t say anything. I went up to her and asked where to get my online curbside order and she told me to wait in line. So I wait in line and I get to the register and the michaels associate radios to another person to get my order and tells me to step aside. Stepping aside mind you leaves no room for social distancing, the whole reason I wanted to do curbside pick up with a newborn baby in the first place. I wait and wait and someone finally comes from the back with my order. She hands it to me and I tell her something is missing. Instead of offering to go through the order with me, she stands there with an attitude acting like I’m wasting her time. Feeling awkward and in the way I tell her I’ll figure it out later and she leaves, not even offering a hand out the door with more items than I can carry with the baby in my other hand. Their “curbside pick up” is a joke and a total waste of time. I definitely could have gone in store to find the items myself in less amount of time than this whole mess. Save yourself time and just go in the store or avoid Michaels all together until they figure this out.

Found everything I needed and more, online ordering is super convenient, I use it often so I can save time and $ on not buying extra stuff.

I was at the check stand buying stickers for my special needs daughter. We dont just buy a few. When we go, we buy hundreds. The cashier asked us what we were doing with all of the stickers and I told her that my daughter is special needs, autistic, and she stated that she has high-functioning autism. She was the sweetest and most patient cashier I have had at this store. She was friendly, thorough, and so positive. I appreciated her so much, and felt so great that Michaels hired an individual with Autism.

Love Michaels, Im a former employee of the company and I wish I never left. Definitely a place for artists to go and get inspired. If youre an artist definitely go check this place out if you are in need of supplies.

Beautiful craft store. The strings or the fabric that holds space time together in (M-Theory) would be the energy that creates the attraction and holds your biological vessels quantum particles together and gives it mass so it can be a watchman and perceive time. Without that Quantum entangled attraction (strings of energy) that holds all mass together it would just return to the light where space has no time.

Good to see a brick & mortar like this. Dont go the way of radio shack. Good to have a Goto store where you dont have to search for the details of a product online when its right in front of me. If this store dont have it, I walk out with ideas for other projects and know where to look next time. Too many times I trust online vendors to answer my questions on the spot. Online browsing can suck..

Nice store. Organized, easy to find things. Just wish employees were a little more engaged with their customers and didnt act like I was asking them for the world when I need help to locate an item or when i have a question. They act like how dare I bother them with a question as they walk by me in an isle. Other than that great store.

Id give 5 stars just for the canvas sales they frequently have alone. Add the rest of the art supplies I need and its as true a love as there ever was.

Always like going into Michaels weather its with my daughter to get canvases for daddy daughter paint sessions or to pick up supplies for at home projects we always find what we need. The coupons we get every month are pretty great to (just sayin). Staff has always been friendly to us.

A go to place for all local crafters and artist. Well stocked and staff is very helpful. Excellent parking. This store is laid out well for handicapped. Lots of coupons, both on line and local newspaper.
