Single owner operator shop, amazing service even when it was busy Doug took time to address all the parts on the bow and fit it perfectly to me. Ended buying a bow off the shelf dialed in and ready to shoot, even set it up to use my existing arrows. Thanks for the amazing bow!!!

Below average communication. Gives answers like, If I dont call it will be ready next week.. No outgoing message about vacation. Two week wait turns into five weeks. This is what drives people to DIY.

Terrible client service, called in not very informative or customer centric. If you have anybody I can speak to besides a guy called Dough, I will consider you again .Until such time I am taking my business elsewhere.

Purchased my Hoyt bow from Doug. This is my first bow. I had lots of rookie questions and Doug gladly answered all of them. He set my bow up for me and took the time to explain and teach me about the bow. He than had me shoot around 30 arrows to make sure all was good and I was comfortable. Awesome service I will definitely be a returning costumer.

We love this shop and go back often. Doug is very knowledgeable and has helped each one in our family be fitted with just what we need. Even though we didnt purchase my husbands or my youngest son bow from him he helps us out every step of the way. I definitely recommend them!

We went to the store, my grandson and myself. We are beginner archers and I told the guy this when we went in. He adjusted the boys in bow and gave him firm instructions on bow safety before letting him shoot with instructions on the indoor range. I didn’t buy the bow at his store but he helped us anyway. Very grateful for his service and advice. I’ll be going back in the future

Shop owner is very very knowledgeable, helpful, dedicated to the job of his choice. And the shop is awesome. Highly recommended. Located in conjunction with multiple great low price archery ranges and 3d shoots for part of the year on Thursdays

The owner there, Doug is a very knowledgeable and nice man, albeit might come off as a little reserved in your first conversation with him, he just wants to get a feel for ya. Doug ordered a bow for me and cut me a deal on sales tax, nice shop, nice people, good experience, they really care about what theyre doing there.

I dont know what some of the bad reviews are about. I just made a call to him, and he was a very friendly guy. Gave me good service and advice as to what I should do in regards to a bow, and explained it to me. The true test will be when I actually go into the shop and meet face to face.

Not a good shop, the owner is short with the customers treating them like there a burden. The work he did tuning my bow wasnt good and was late. He told me a week for strings and a tune and to call after a week if I hadnt heard anything, so I did then he was rude about like I was bothering him. I wont by another hoyt due to the fact this is the only local dealer.

Went in to get my bow tuned on a Saturday morning and the shop was closed! Not a great way to run a business. If your website says ur open from 10-2 then you should prob be open. I have never dealt with this shop and this was my first time but can review there service cause I was never helped.

Being the only Hoyt dealer in the area the hours are very inconvenient for customers with JOBS and they apparently arent even open during the posted hours! So awesome to drive somewhere and find they are closed when the site says they are supposed be open!On top of that the individual I spoke with was quite rude and seemingly uninterested in my business. Bummer this is the only hoyt dealer in the area....👎

I ordered a string and paid for it 5 months later i still never received it. I called the guy several times he told me he would call me when it came in. The last time i called him he was swearing and said he probably sold the string. This guys a real jerk i would never do business there again.

OK... The first time I went in the store I had a simple question and the owner was rude when answering the simple question Where is the Skookum Archery Club House?... The second and LAST time I went to the store I went in hoping to buy a Recurve bow and arrows and the owner replied RUDELY Why would you want to buy a Recurve when you can get a Compound bow that will be more accurate?!?... From where I come from the when the Customer asks for something... The customer is right... Even when they are wrong... Money talks, Customers have the Money... :)

I would highly recommend Great Northwest Archery to anyone interested in archery. Great Northwest Archery is an excellent shop with outstanding customer service. They are collocated with Skookum Archers, a nice outdoor range facility where you can shoot from 10y to 90m and they have three 3D courses secluded in the woods. The facility is clean and well maintained.Doug, the proprietor, was very knowledgeable and spent as much time with me as I wanted. He walked me through the complete setup of my bow, explaining each step, and I didnt leave his shop until I was 100% comfortable. I never felt rushed, and he was very amenable to my endless questions. He had a Hooter Shooter if you want a paper tune punching bullet holes Doug can get it done quickly. Due to my Hamskea Versa Rest being bottom limb activated, my bow didnt fit on his machine so Doug instead took the time to teach me how to walk back tune on their open range.Sean, the coach there, was GREAT with my kids. They started one-on-one lessons there with recurve bows, after a few lessons moved to compound bows, and once they were proficient we bought them complete compound bow packages. Doug and Sean made my kids very comfortable, and treated them like family.Just to reiterate, I would highly recommend Great Northwest Archery to anyone interested in archery. Doug is, and will continue to be, my familys go to archery resource.

It takes alot to get five stars. Doug, the owner of Great Northwest Archery, did alot.I walked in with almost nonexistent practical experience with archery, but a whole lot of research into how I wanted to get started. Doug didnt try to push me into more expensive options, but instead asked me the reasoning behind my choices, confirmed them when they were correct, and assisted me with his greater experience when I had neglected to take into account some of the dynamic relationships between my body, the bow, and the arrows themselves. He set up a bow for me out of the box, as I waited, and then proceeded to spend about an hour with me getting everything fine tuned on his indoor practice range. All this while juggling phone calls and other walk-in clients.Doug was friendly, helpful, instructive, and encouraging throughout my time in his store, and at no time did I feel either less than his top priority, or pressured into purchases I did not want to make.As for the comment expressing disappointment regarding acceptance of debit cards: the confusion likely lies with the fact that the archery club next door is not a part of Dougs shop, and does not share the payment structure of the store.
