This location never has prompt service. I only shop here because its close by. Ive been several times when I needed an item from the outdoor garden center and when I request for someone they tell me someone will be right out and nobody ever shows. I also tried the propane refill request via the app and again nobody. I go inside and I explain that I have been outside waiting and they have no idea that the app option even exists.

I shop here very frequently always buying animal feed. Went on 10/17/21 and asked if they had anymore cracked corn. The young girl went to check the back and never came back out. I’m very disappointed.

Found everything we were looking for at great prices.

Always a nice experience. The people are always friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. There is a nice change of products to go along with the seasonal changes, and there is always a good selection. An enjoyable stop, especially if you have pets or livestock. Even food choices if you choose to feed the wild critters.

One of my favorite stores to visit. The staff is always so personable and friendly. And no matter who you talk to there, they are all super knowledgeable on every product that they carry. A++

Have never been to a tractor supply. Found an extensive selection of grass seed in a variety of package sizes and grades (subject of the visit). I will be back to buy prepackaged seed, fertilizer and hay blankets to over seed several bare spots on my newly installed lawn.

Only go if I have, to management changed. Tim left and all the guys he had working there followed, before it was like walking into Cheers everyone knew your name and knew how to help ya.Not so much anymore, Not as welcoming as it was. Dont get me wrong the young girls at the registers know whats what but thats about it.

Love tractor supply for the products they offer and the great prices. Sales are really good. Staff is always pleasant! Ive spent alot of money here for a reason.

Best stocked location with in 20 mile radius. Always has stall pellets in stock. The people are always friendly and helpful. Great store! I like it better than runnings. But runnings has peanut crunch 😀

Each visit is to a productive experienced friendly sales team! Grateful for that country store filled with essentials from pie plates to wood stove gasket replacement parts. A most genuine environment. Well priced, organized, seasonal readiness, all part of the comfort zone offered in the PUTNAM, CT store.

The cashier was accommodating for me, as I was returning an item and I forgot to bring my discount coupon. She honered anyway. The check out line was long, however she managed well with keeping it moving quickly.

I typically like the store... I know last year they had these wonderful ornate dog houses available, and figured Id stop by to see if they were selling them again. Unfortunately, nothing of the sort so far this season... they always have good prices in are the best place to get stock tanks, but I wouldnt mind if there is a bit less country music over the loudspeakers while there.

One of my favorite stores, Tractor Supply really does have what we need out here. We have a farm and shop here for feed and fencing and tools and equipment and even clothes, decor and toys. Love it!

Im only guessing this but the lady I delt with was a manager of sorts very friendly, informative, very willing to take me around to see what my options were. Good time, and the younger kids were positive and actual works and doing their jobs, it was nice to see

Shop here only when I have too.Not consistent in ordering items so you never know if its going to be in stock.They move locations of stock around too much.And its hard to get anyone to help load items into my truck.Shopped here over the weekend and the manager this time was a totally rude jerk...Its employees like him that can ruin a business.The cashier Haley was fantastic,super helpful..a great asset to a badly run location

This place has everything you need, from gardening supplies, animal feed, animal accessories and grooming supplies, to even the weekly Pet Vet that comes in weekly to give extremely low cost immunizations, dewormers, microchipping, and more. They are awesome and very nice with my precious puppies that I bring in occasionally. The staff in the store are nice and helpful awesome. Love this place since I was a kid.Yes, they sell kids stuff too!

Its OK but if it wasnt for this Pacific redhead girl Putnam Connecticut track to supply. I probably would have bought a $1200 safe. She was so rude to me for no reason I simply asked her what the price was she says I dont know figure it out. So my left I would never go back again. That girl should have been fired. I told somebody about it at the store and they did nothing. Just shut the shoulders

Im a small home owner, so for my needs TSC is good but for a farmer or large land owner, the products here could be more suitable for your needs. Prices are good.

A good selection of pet products as well as common tools and such. The only reason I dont give it 4 stars is the country music...ugh.

Awesome place for deer food. Clothing and boots. Parts for lawntractors and tuneup kits. Plus much more you should see that will surprise you that they have. Log splitters, snowthrowers etc. Its worth the trip.

Tons of miscellaneous supplies from camping to casual clothing. Watch out, 5 minutes turns into 30

Local go to for pet food, cheap tools, and kids toys. Occasionally get jeans or a shirt. Very handy spot.

Somewhat limited inventory, knew it was a smaller store but was disappointed with in stock selection. What they do have is still at great prices and worth shopping at for basics or to order if immediate pick up is not needed.

Theyve got some work to do to keep up with the new neighbors. Tractor Supply has always been a go-to for cheap tools and equipment, pet food, and common parts for yard power tools. Compared to the new Runnings across the street and the Harbor Freight a few exits down the highway, this TS store is very small and has minimal selections at slightly higher prices than the neighbors. On the plus side if you know what you want and want a quick in and out stop, because its small, you can usually accomplish that here. On the minus side, if its a little busy plan on a wait, the check-outs are few and usually understaffed so a haphazzard, ill-defined line will form and youll be there a while.

Had to get a wheelbarrow wheel no problem decent price

Went to four name brand superstore looking for a solid stepping stool, sorry only folding step ladders. Left to go home, when I saw the TSC building down the road. WTH, I thought lets ask them. I asked and they said I think you might want a mounting stool, lets take a look. Darn straight, now Im happy and my lady doesnt need to climb up to our RV steps. Save yourself some time call TSC first.

Always have what I need for the dogs when I go there.. Plus, lots of things for those of us who love in the country..

I have and still shop this store out of nesesity. OF all the staff including the store manager whom is not helpful at all, their are 2 girls who actually know how to run the place, and help you find what you need. SUPER nice knowledgeable.

Good place yet the younger employees need to lean a bit of civility or maybe stop hiring omniscient kids.

Not my only source for the stuff I need for life out here, but definitely one of my favorites. Great store. Pretty much anything I might need is there. Employees are generally nice ...and helpful. When youre planning a project on the fly and youre heading into an area where you havent had a lot of experience and youre looking for a second opinion, most seem to have first hand experience with animals and farm life, which is nice. I buy fuel blocks there to mix in with my cord wood and the one time they mixed up my order they got right on it, brought out what I ordered and got me on my way without too much delay. It happens. Been shopping there for 5 years and they havent let me down yet.

Went in on Thursday, March 29th to buy a log splitter, Nick sold me one and told me it would be assembled the best day and can be picked up on Friday which was great as I told him I needed it for the weekend. Went in on Friday to pick it up, was told by Nick sorry, we did not get it done, cant do it this weekend. I was not happy, asked what we can do to fix the situation, was told they could refund my money, that was it. He came across as smug and did not care that he did not live up to what he told me. I called the Sturbridge store and they hooked me up.Avoid Nick at the Putnam store, he cannot be trusted.

We went and got chicks with our 10% coupon. Wish they would carry tripple crown products have to go to runnings or feed store to get it. Jenny from griswold is great she will match running prices on standlee products for me and thats why I continue to give them my business. I also love how they greet me by name, makes me feel like family not just a customer. Great job!

Very busy store that never seems to have enough help to put out the warehouse orders. 1 cashier usually not enough. Better stocked lately. Less expensive than across the street on most items, but not as good a selection probably due to space.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way this Tractor Supply store in Putnam, Ct. stocks inventory.I use the compressed sawdust fuel bricks.... Envirobircks (6 pack) and the Overnight Fire Logs (3 pack) all winter long. They are fantastic for heating my 200 year old house with my wood stove.Now they do not have any of these in stock and tell me I must order them and will have towait around 2 weeks for them to come in.Tonight the temperature is expected to drop down to single digits and the same for Monday and Tuesday. Just think about it, buyers in this area cannot buy any for their wood stoves when they really need. them!!I call that very poor seasonal management. I will not shop there any more, since I can drive to Sturbridge, Ma.Tractor Supply store and they will have them in stock. It may be farther away for me, but at least I will be able to get what I need..

DOG food choices are good when they have the food in stock. I refuse to buy chicken feed from tractor supply specifically the Dumor brand. This feed is the worst feed i have see. The Purina chicken feed is better. Stick with Agway or blue seal feed.

Tim has no consideration for his customers. The cashier who was working to day was very rude too the customer in front of me as well as myself. I went in a week ago to buy a go kart clutch. Bought one used it for 2 days and it exploded. I went too return it too day and tim was at the counter when i asked to return it he said not without ur receipt and walked away. Then i bought another one and that one exploded today. Well when we returned that one tim came over and goes oh u found the reciept. In a rude voice. I said no this is the one i bought today. He gave me a dirty look. Then he let me return it and i walked out. Poor products poor service not a recommended store.
