On the Small side has all the basics nice people

These people the owners Im guessing dont even shop at there own store very overpriced even for generic foods. I see them at sales stocking up there store from price chopper down the road. They are always out of stuff. Even the meat which used to be the best in town. Now its all garbage.

One of the nicest place to do groceries

I absolutely love the meat dept. And the deli. Their meats stay fresh so much longer than a big grocery store does. Its small, it has many items, but it works. You dont have a huge line to wait in, ever. Their grinders are fabulous!! Made while you wait, or call them in ahead of time so they are ready to pick up .

Local mom and pop market. The new owners have been slowly upgrading the store over the last few years. The meat is the best around as far as store meat. I wish they would work out a way to sell local farm meats. The selection is small (compared to the giant retailers) but you definitely have choices.The deli staff is great. The new owners are the nicest people you could ask forHopefully they continue to upgrade the store/building so Putnam Super can remain a local staple for many years.UPDATE 9/2021The oldowners have moved on which is sad. They were awesome and they had young children that were so sweet.This brings me to the current owners/management they are rude, the store is in disrepair and only getting worse.If it was not for the regular employees at the deli and register I would have given less stars.Hopefully things change for the better.

Has a little of everything I need, without going to the larger grocery stores. The owners and staff are great and theres a more personal relationship because of that. Highly recommended!

Always a pleasant experience. I didnt know you could get a grinder made at the Supermarket. So I ordered one. It was reasonably priced and the choice I made was delicious.

Love this store

Great atmosphere. Always quick to get in and out. It helps especially if you are walking home. If they dont have what you want they try their best to get it in for you. Just make sure you have the empty product so they can scan it in.

I will only shop here for my meats from now on! The meat department is always fresh and much tastier than the local chains. Everything else is a little high on the prices though.

Every time I go in there the place is awesome. I been shopping there for years. They have everything you need. Walk out of there then less a $20 dinner.

Old school family market. Great deals on meat. It is my go to place for coldcuts. $7.49 lb. roast beef is delicious.

Its the only place I purchase meat and poultry.Always helpful. Super deli and made to go delicious grinders.

Nice little store. Easy in and out if you dont want the hassle of a big shopping. The staff is family-friendly. Good grinders at their deli. Yeah, you loose out on the super selection of the super store... but I can be in and out in short order without a big hassle and a headache. That counts for a lot in my book sometimes.

Some places dont change, but somehow get better with time.

Store is not very clean. Prices are higher than stores around the area. Quick stop and close to home. Not an everyday store you would shop at. Meat is good. Produce is not. Store has a funny smell.

The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. They get the concept of customer service which seems like its becoming a rarity these days. Prices are good and the sales are great! Support local businesses!!

The deli and the meat department is outstanding!! I absolutely love it. Im telling you, the meats are so fresh, Ive had Hamburg that Ive bought and left in the refrigerator for a week and is still fresh!! The deli meats are the same as the meats. Normally if I buy deli meat some place else, its bad by the 4th day. Putnam Supermarket, the deli meat is great for approximately 2 weeks!! And the prices of the meat and deli are very affordable. Some things are pricey such as canned goods, but just making a trip for the meat is well worth the trip!!💕💕💕

Ive been going here since I was a kid! Theyve got great meat and produce prices, the best around. The quality of their meat looks better than Walmart and stop and shop, plus its cheaper. Theyve got daily deals on meats ect, making it even more affordable. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean too, with lots of variety. Great local grocery store. Im really glad that they are still around!!!

Since i moved here 4yrs ago,,i have enjoyed shopping here,,,always greeted with smiles and how are u today. the meat is always fresh and well priced. if theres something ur looking for and they dont have it, by the next week they will have it in store on ur next visit,,i love shopping at putnam supermarket.
