Our 2019 Lincoln Nautilus was due for an oil & filter change along with tire rotation. The Lincoln dealer where we purchased the vehicle is 55 miles and 1-1/2 hours away & although I had taken it there for previous oil changes & was satisfied with their service, I decided to try Putnam Ford for the routine maintenance it needed now. It is much closer to where we live & Ford dealers are authorized to perform basic maintenance on Lincoln products. It turned out to be a good decision! Putnam Ford is a neat, clean, well organized dealership and everyone I met there was friendly, courteous, and very capable in their jobs. From the Service desk personnel, to the technician who did the work, to the follow-up call from the Service Dept., I was impressed with the professionalism of all that I met. Im one of those individuals who are very particular about my vehicles - both from a maintenance and appearance standpoint. Years ago when I stopped doing my own maintenance & started taking my cars to dealerships or independent repair shops, I would never go back to one that returned the vehicle with grease smudges on the sheetmetal, or dirt on the carpets, or stains on the seats. To me thats a sign of sloppy workmanship & a place where theres no concern for quality. When the maintenance work at Putnam Ford was completed, my Lincoln was spotless - it was as clean as it was when I drove in! Again, an indication of the care & concern they have for quality workmanship & professionalism. In summary, I will not hesitate to return to Putnam Ford for routine maintenance on my Nautilus and, based on my first experience there, would highly recommend them to others.

Had oil change and tire rotations done. Staff was very professional and friendly. The work was done quickly and the price was very reasonable. The waiting room was comfortable but would have loved coffee or water while I waited. I didnt see any available in waiting room. However that is a small detail and will go back there for other service on my truck.

Not the dealers fault but Ford took almost 6 months to deliver my F150 to the dealer. Along the way my Sales representative, Timothy Wesolowski, did an excellent job checking the status and communicating with me.The sales process with Tim and Putnam ford was easy to complete from start to finish. They are very honest about pricing and the price was the same as the other dealers I checked.Everything was perfect at pick up and Dave in the finance department had all the paperwork and registration ready for me.Shopping at Putnam Ford and Tim was a great experience. I highly recommend this dealer.

Service department here is wonderful. Kristyn took the time to help me figure out a question on my car charger. I also received a video recap of my service from the technician showing the undercarriage and showing my brake and tire life. They were fast. They also have a nice clean facility with a break room. Would absolutely come here again.

Not really interested in returning to this dealership unfortunately. I will say, sales are great! I bought my new Explorer last fall and they made the whole process easy. Especially since I had a hectic schedule - they worked around times for me no issues.Upon purchase I was told I would receive two free oil changes. About a week after I brought the vehicle home I noticed my driver side mirror was in need to be replaced (not held in the casing) I went to the service department not one, not two, not three BUT FOUR TIMES TO GET IT REPLACED! I was beyond annoyed having to continually go in for them to just “try something” or they ordered the wrong side! By the fourth visit I just wanted to get in and out.Needless to say, I got my two complimentary oil changes but DO NOT plan on returning for any service. The girl who seems to run the service department is professional and kind but somewhere there is a disconnect in this department.I’m not one to write reviews but when they make a lasting impression I’d like them and others to beaware. There is definitely room for improvement and I hope this suggests to work better so others don’t experience a visit like this.

I recently purchased a used Cadillac from Putnam Ford and the staff there made it an incredibly easy and painless experience. I live in another state and drove all the way to Connecticut to buy this specific vehicle. Tim W in sales and Dave in finance were very respectful and didn’t play any games. The whole experience was very transparent and I felt comfortable making the purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to send family members there to purchase their next vehicle. The service at Putnam Ford was top notch!

Not our first vehicle purchased at Putnam Ford, probably not the last. Other than friendly, knowledgeable, and a customer service level that has always impressed, our continued patronage was cemented in their integrity. Anyone having gone to purchase a vehicle should know the angst involved. Over the years it has been customer first, dealership second. They truly are a special entity in the world of sales.Our recent purchase was a long one. Just picked up our Ford Bronco Big Bend, and wow. Worth the wait! I would like to recognize our sales person Tim Wizowski for going way above and beyond. Through the long wait for Ford to get the Bronco out, Tim never made me feel like a burden as I called for updates. Better yet, his answers indicated he was following my Bronco as closely as I was. His knowledge technically of all the Bronco offered showed he was a student of the business. Tim showed me how to remove the carry basket accessory I purchased which shows his level of caring. I noticed some floor mats next to the wall in the front of the dealership as he placed the removed basket on them. I asked already knowing it was probably him, and Tim confirmed he had placed them their to prevent scratches. Dave whom we have had multiple interactions with over the years was involved with paperwork and the add ons for protection etc. Never in all the years interacting with Dave have I felt pressured. Incredible level of knowledge about the offerings, and sincerely happy for our purchase. Yes, we did follow Dave’s advice on protecting our biggest auto purchase yet. After shopping around for a truck during a time where everything is selling for ridiculous prices, I was about to call it quits. I then found the Putnam Ford website and their prices were good. I called, and unlike most other dealerships, they actually had the price listed as they were selling it. Most others were marking it up 10k over MSRP. I went there and they were pleasant, non- pressuring and sold me the truck I wanted. My trade in was evaluated fairly the first try. It was smooth process through and through. I’d highly recommend this dealership if you want to save yourself time and stress.

I wanted to wait some time before making a review I wanted to see how their service was following buying a used vehicle and was very happy with the process. My sales rep, Tim, was nice and not pushy at all during the sales negotiation. I felt I got a good price for the car and was happy with my deal. After having the car for a few weeks a small issue came up that the service had some trouble finding out what the problem was, but after some time was able to resolve the issue. I was impressed by the car service dept and their help along the way.

My husbands truck went to Putnam Ford to have the a/c core replaced. They had the truck for a fews day to do the job when it was picked up the truck was absolutely filthy. Greasy forehead marks all over windshield marks on interior hand prints on front fenders. Driving it home tge dash strted to squeak. He looked around and saw that interior trim wasnt put back on correctly in numerous places. Truck went back to the dealer 2 more times for these problems and its still not right. He decided to look and fix the squeak himself and noticed behind the dash there was more hose and holders not hooked up at all. Now it has to go to a different garage to have everything fixed properly! Would never recommend having anything worked on by them

My wife and I purchased a 21 Explorer ST from Putnam Ford. I can say the whole buying experience was a pleasure. Matt Racine the Internet Manager was very helpful and put together an estimated proposal through e-mail that was basically spot on (price of vehicle plus trade-in). We didnt to argue over numbers, it was nice and straight forward. Danny Goyette (Product Specialist) handled the sale and was a joy to work with. David Pomes (F&I Mgr.) reviewed the dealership with us along with the history and from the owner on down the key word that everybody goes by is transparency. This is definitely evident. We completed all paperwork and left with the 21 Explorer ST. I would highly recommend this dealership and certainly would like to thank Matt, Danny and David for a great car buying experience.

Bringing my vehicle to this facility was a complete waste of time and money. I was charged $230 for them to scan a code and then have the service manger tell me they did not want to work on it.I quote from service report # 67193 “too many modifications for us to work on per Service Manager.”I was 100% honest with them before I brought the truck in that the EGR system been deleted. They easily could have returned the honesty that they would not work on it at this point. Instead they did the bare minimum and then charged me. All after I paid to have the vehicle towed to their facility. (And again afterwards to a real mechanic).They were not helpful and actually hung up on me twice while I attempted to get as much information from them; a relatively simple request since I did pay them above the estimated $150 computer analysis fee.Treat yourself well and DO NOT waste your time with this service center/ dealership.

Purchased our Second CPO Ford from Putnam Ford this week, the whole organization works as a customer support team. Particularly helpful were Tim, Sales Associate, Dave in Business and Krissy in Service. .Had an issue with lack of cold air, called Putnam Ford Service, who were backed up, but were able to fit in a diagnosis, found the problem -compressor clutch failed, ordered the parts, organized a loaner car, and got me back on the road all within 2 days.Krissy and the Service Dept. at Putnam Ford are an amazing team!

Horrible Experience. Was clear when I made the appointment it was critical that I get my truck back by Friday as its the only truck in my fleet I can tow with. Monday and Tuesday following week I get the parts will be in tomorrow call(both days). All in all truck was in the shop for 6 days for a tie rod, oil change, and 3 key copies. I want to forget about this experience and move on, but now Im getting hounded daily by email for a review.I hope this ends the spam

I’ll start off by saying what a positive experience I had purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. From the first phone call to the last. The people that put this all together for us were fabulous. Matt, Corey and unfortunately i don’t know the people behind the scenes names to give them my Thanks. I’ll start off by saying i made a phone call to inquire about a used vehicle they had posted. Keep in mind they were about 30 minutes from me and with all the drama going on i was hesitant about traveling to them( having A compromised immune system). I explained this to the Matt Matt immediately called me back and started the process of them coming to me for a test drive. They did just that. We agreed to purchase with a couple of minor issues we would need repaired they never questioned our request one being cosmetic which they certainly didn’t have to fix on an 8 year old car. . They took care of the two minor things. They had car detailed, registered, vin inspected and delivered it back to us with paperwork in hand. I would purchase from no other place moving forward. Why would i, when there are honest professional people out there willing to go above and beyond for their customer? Thank you Putnam Ford. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- I brought my Ford Explorer in for a oil change and multi point inspection, I asked for a package that cost $189, it also included a few other things.- I was charged for a rental vehicle, I didn’t have a rental .- I was overcharged from the $189 promotion with no explanation as to why I was charged more, although I was forewarned that this may happen.- I walked away with a printout that basically stated my vehicle was in perfect condition when The check engine light is on and also a tire sensor light .- needless to say, I won’t be bringing my truck back to Putnam Ford, it was a waste of money

I bought a car and a couple of years later I was looking to trade it. They really didnt seem interested in selling me a vehicle so I went elsewhere. I called and spoke to Dan, asked about availability on a specific car for a test drive. He asked to csll me back so he could check and then called back about 10 minutes later. Car was available so I set a test drive for later in the day and asked if the car sold before then to have them give me a curtosy call. Drove an hour to find out that car was in the shop maintenance dept. and unavailable for a test drive?! They didnt even apologize! Ive had bad experiences car shopping but this was ridiculous- wish no stars was an option. Waste of time.

I found the car with all options I wanted for sale at Putnam FORD. Im about 4 hrs away from the dealership so we planned a trip with family and stayed overnight at a hotel nearby. After I took a test drive, Dave the Business Manager broke the news that they do not have the title yet. He suggested I take the car and drive with dealer plates and he will overnight the title as soon as he gets it. He had called the bank and confirmed that the payoff was received and that the bank had already mailed the title to the dealership. This was a Friday. I declined to sign the papers and Dave arranged to have the car delivered and I can pay and take delivery after the title was received. We drove home the same day, without the car. Not happy with our experience at all. Next morning Dave forwarded me the letter from the bank showing the title is on its way. He also assured me that he will call me the moment the title arrives. Fast forward to Monday morning. He calls me and lets me know the title was at the dealership- delivered Saturday morning..!!! He arranged to have the car delivered after two days, a Wednesday early morning, As promised the car was delivered, with the title and all paperwork needed to have it registered. everything went smooth and I couldnt be happier. The dealership, special Mr. Pomes went out of his way to make my shopping experience one of the best. I will totally, unquestionably recommend the dealership for your car shopping. If you are local to Putnam, CT go for it. Even if you are not close to the dealership and have found your car at a great price, still go for it - they might just deliver it to you..!!!!

Service Dept. had found a leak added dye, had to drive 1000 miles to see if dye would show and of course, it did. It was discovered head gasket had a small leak and had to be replaced . Thankfully warranty covered due bill of all parts, labor. We also needed another vehicle which was also provided and greatly appreciated. Service Dept. was also able to receive all parts quickly and have our car readily available within a couple days. Thankfully all is well. Thank you service dept.

My husband and I had a sudden car service emergency while traveling cross country. While driving along a couple pulled along side us and motioned to us a concern that there was an issue with our front tire. We got off the nearest exit and we were si happy to see right there was a Ford sales and service center. I was thinking they probably wouldnt want to help us as we were driving a Toyota and we were from out of state just driving through. We were greeted very pleasantly by a lovely woman who instantly got the service people to take in our vehicle. They checked out our tires and the lug nuts. It was all done in 10 minutes! We asked what we owed and the service guy said nothing and he wouldnt even accept a tip. But what he said next was so stunning to us...he said...as long as you are safe on your trip is all we care!!That was so nice.. I hope you can recognize this young man..I wish I knew his name..but sadly I do not.Thank you for hiring such a kind person and good worker..it makes all the difference in this world!! {UPDATE} Since then we have been called by Putnam Ford to rectify the situation.-------------------------------------------Caveat Emptor. Everything started off well enough. Everyone is super friendly until you sign on the dotted line and then you are ignored. We bought a car from here last week, and the SAME DAY we brought the car home, the check engine light came on and we discovered the rear defroster did not work. Annoying, considering we just bought the car and these sorts of things should have been taken care of, but we figure, okay, we bought warranties and were promised a rental in the case things like this happened.Second Red Flag (First being the problems happening in the first place): We were told the car might not be looked at until Wednesday. It was Saturday when we dropped it off. Sorry, but this was a car we literally just bought from you. Shouldnt you make a little more of an effort? Because really, we shouldnt be having problems the same day that we bring the car home. For my old car, I expect to wait a few days when I bring it to the shop, but when a new customer is having problems with a car they JUST bought, shouldnt you be going above and beyond to fix a problem that should NEVER have happened?Third Red Flag: We were told that we would be called when there was an update. Monday, my husband calls in because he was hopeful that they would look at it, that it would be a quick fix, but that if it wasnt, that he could get into a rental as promised. We called twice on Monday at approximately noon and 4 PM. Both times we were told they would give us a call back because they did not know what was going on. My husband called again three times today - two, four, and five - we were not sure if we were going to need a rental, or what was going on. No answer. We had to DRIVE DOWN THERE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH OUR CAR! They had moved the car to be fixed to another location but they NEVER told us that, despite assuring us they would tell us when there was an update. We had to SHOW UP to figure out what was going on with the car. After a long day at work, we show up only to discover the rental place is closed and our car has been shipped out. If someone had only given us a call to let us know that we werent getting the car back any time soon, we could have left work a little early to come and get a rental (which is only open during conventional business hours, so if you work bankers hours, you arent getting there in time to get a rental). When we walked in, everyone was just clustered around a desk talking. Seems to me like they had plenty of time to take 2 minutes to return a phone call. We now have to go through the inconvenience of figuring out how my husband can be in an important meeting at 8:30 AM tomorrow morning, and I can still make my over time hours for a deadline, because we are stuck with one vehicle again. All due to a lack of communication.Needless to say, I was extremely upset and had to walk out of the facility and let my husband deal with this. Extremely stressed and not at all happy about our calls being ignored, when they were all too happy to answer when we were interested in buying.

I dont normally do reviews but today early onto a hour drive my car started shaking and i pulled off the closest exit which happened to contain this ford dealership. As soon as i pulled my Ford into this dealership the tire in my ford explorer flew off my car. Bedkre i could even process what happened i had a crew of people assessing the situation and pulling my car in to fix it. Crissy was so sweet answering all my questions pointing me in the direction of refreshments and a waiting area. Everyone went above and beyond to get what i needed and fix my car. So fortunate i ended up here and another huge thank you for your hospitality and help during a terrifying situation.

We rented a 15 passenger van. Melissa Orlowski made the rental process quick and easy. She was very prompt with all communication, the rates were reasonable and the van was spotless. I would highly recommend renting from Putnam Ford and Melissa any time.

Brought in my car to have the heating system serviced. During the post service test drive, the Tech uncovered that my rear wheel bearing was/had failed. As I drive an hour both to and from work daily, this discovery helped avoid a potentially dangerous situation. I worked primarily with Kerry, who was extremely patient and knowledgable when describing the issues identified and the recommended resolution. She also has a great sense of humor and I truly enjoyed my experience with her. I also need to give kudos to Manny, Kaesey and the unnamed Technician, who helped make this service event a success.

I recently had service done to my Ford. I broke down in Westerly RI and AAA came to my assistance. Since I have bought a few vehicles from Putnam Ford and been a loyal customer of theirs with my personal vehicles and the business vehicle I drive, I called Putnam Ford to let them know that my truck would be towed there. I spoke with a young girl, Chrissy and she was very pleasant and told me no problem. I then asked for a rental car for once I got there. At the time she said she had nothing but would look into it. Within approximately 15 minutes she called back and told me they had one for me. Once there she had it ready for me to use to get back and forth to work. They tended to my truck the next day to find out that a part was faulty and under warranty. They ordered the part and once it came in took care of the installation. Upon my receiving my truck there was no bill because everything was under warranty. I was pleasantly surprised! Started off not having a good day with the breakdown and ended up a good day with a good experience with Putnam Ford. They backed up my Ford and treated me as a loyal customer. Kudos to Chrissy and the Putnam Ford personnel. Thank you.

I would like to say what a great buying experience I had at Putnam Ford.I have family in the car business, and still bought at Putnam Ford.Danny, my sales guy, was the most pleasant, laid back, no pressure kind of guy. He guided, answered all my questions, and just made it like a walk in the park. It was like we knew each other for years.Dave, the finance guy, really helped us out too. He was funny, cheerful, and an expert at dealing with this stuff.I really can’t say enough good things about my visit to Putnam Ford. Went to carmax and was told I had to wait over 1 hour to even speak to someone!! Went to Putnam Ford 0 waiting! Salesman wasnt pushy made it very easy to purchase my vehicle. Finance manager was fast, friendly, and extremely helpful. I do not like buying cars because of the pressure the salesman put on people. Not this time. Thank you for making this experience so pressure free and easy. Update.... The cover to the floor in the trunk was missing when I was purchasing the vehicle. I asked prior to buying the vehicle if it was going to be replaced, they assured me the part would be in as they ordered the wrong one. 3 weeks go by I call and get told the cant find the part and theres a 50 dollar cap on the part.????? Its a cover that I was promised before buying the vehicle. I guess I have to find one.... Getting the car sold was the only worry I guess.. Now its irrelevant.

Went there to get a duplicate key that I bought online; just needed to have it programmed & trimmed for my ignition; they got me in & out within an hour, were extremely courteous & they also did a free point inspection & kinda fixed my loud brakes for very little cost for what I thought it would cost! I read online that this could cost anyone from 500$+ & they did it for 1/4 of that price!! Thank you so much!!! Will definitely come back 💚🖤

Both Service and Sales have been professional from start to finish. Our Sales person Michael was the best. Frank in service was very attentive and apologetic when my first request for an appointment was overlooked. Not only did he call me personally and apologized for someone not getting back to me but got me right in and had my car recall repair done in a shorter time then he quoted. After he called me on Monday to make sure I was pleased and if there was anything else they could do for me. I so appreciate good customer service and even though I have another Ford Dealership closer to me, I will continue to drive the extra miles to return to Putnam Ford.

We have purchased our truck at Putnam Ford a year ago and had a very pleasant sales process. There was no hassle and everything went very smooth. Two months ago we started having issues with the engine and took the truck to the Service Department and were told that we needed a new engine. With much appreciated assistance from Putnam Ford management dealing with Ford corporate on our behalf, our truck was fixed. They have turned a very unpleasant situation into a favorable experience for us for which we are very thankful for.
