We are actively looking for our next boat and have dealt with a couple of the Pier One offices. Our experience with Liz at the St. Petersburg office was extremely helpful and positive. She provided accurate information, additional photos, and worked with us in getting set up with other brokers within Pier One to see some other boats of interest. She continued reaching out - even when we were no longer interested in a boat that she was brokering.Our experience with Nick in the Punta Gorda office was the exact opposite. We arrived at the agreed upon time, and Nick was already too busy to have time for us. He bad mouthed the brand of boat we were looking at, lectured us on what our concerns about our new boat should be, actively encouraged us to NOT look at a boat that they have listed, and did not know what boats he himself was actively brokering.If youre looking for a boat, I would strongly recommend working with Liz. If youre trying to sell your boat, I would strongly recommend not listing it with Nick/Pier One in the Punta Gorda area as he doesnt seem to have good things to say or the time for potential buyers.

Very disrespectful, I tried to call about a specific boat /yacht and no return phone call for more than 3 weeks by the time I finally got a hold of someone they informed me the day before someone else put a down payment on the vessel of my choice. They tried to get it right and had one of their sales reps call me who tried to sell me a fixer upper which I was not interested in i wanted something turn key and explained that I would need to discuss it with my wife the rep snorted and said that was ridiculous why would I allow my wife to have a saying in it! That immediately turned me off and took my business somewhere else and BTW paid cash! I dont know what era they live in but in my household my wife has a opinion shes respected!

Dont bother being friendly when you inquire about a boat. If its not available, youre answer will be No and thats it.
