Brought a ford F-150 in with a knock years ago. They pull my engine apart and then tell me they dont know what it is and charge me over $300 for tearing my engine apart. Highly recommend you find somewhere else.

I replaced drive axles and tie rods went in for a front end alignment the man was trying to sell me new drive axles and tie rods these folks are not honest 😑

After finding a screw in one of my car tires, I was at risk of not making an appointment I was headed to. I stopped at two other shops I knew of and called three more, but nobody could help me out in a pinch. I finally found Tire Discounters of Florida while searching on my phone. It’s an old-fashioned mom-and-pop type place where the guys are friendly and have helpful “can do” attitudes. Less than 20 minutes after my arrival, I was back on the road and made my appointment thanks to those guys. A+ and thanks again!

Theres no sitting in a waiting room for hours to get a tire repaired or to replace tire(s). Theres no scam upselling... I went to Larry a few years ago to replace my tires and have been going back ever since (wish Id have discovered them years ago)! Theres no nonsense... they give a price, jack your car up, repair or replace the tire(s), and youre on your way within a minimal amount of time... as a bonus everyone is pleasant, respectful, and friendly... If you dont want to spend hours sitting in a waiting room for a tire repair or replacement, Tire Discounters is the place to go!

!CAUTION! As other reviews have indicated, the price changes when you arrive. I should have heeded that warning. My wife called and was quoted a price of $25 per tire to swap to another set. We provided the correct make, model, and tire size of the vehicle before quoting a price. I live about 30 minutes away so this place is not exactly close. I enjoy supporting local businesses and Walmart was much closer but I decided to take the trip. I arrived and guess what? They saw how I was dressed and my car (which is nice) and instantly it was $35 per tire. The guy just laughed then continued with what he was doing. I do not write poor reviews for local businesses as a matter of practice. This is my first. However, if you have a nice vehicle or are nicely dressed they may take advantage of you. Seriously, heed this warning and the warning of other reviews here.

Looking for an out the door price on 2 new tires and installation for a 2010 mini cooper base model convertible. Tires are 195 55 16.looking for the cheapest in the area. Also a cheap oil change if its the right price No rush either if they need to be ordered I would come on Saturday

This shop is not pretty but has stood the test of time. They work quickly, respectfully, and are as accommodating as they can be. They sell new and used tires, do brakes. They quote prices up front and business is still done with a hand shake. They inspect related items to the work you are having done so if additional work is needed they notify you but they dont pressure you. Weve used them since the 1980s and have never been disappointed.

Adding to what my husband previously stated. I am well aware of what he was quoted on the phone ($10 per tire) for rotation and $30 for repairing my tire. It wasnt until I arrived that the front line man thought he was going to charge me 12.95 per tire for rotating. On top of this when I ask him where the manager was he proceeds to tell me he at home and nobody talks to him. The only other person who seemed to have a voice in this place was the gentleman inside who my husband called while I was standing there. He was giving one price on the phone while the man in front of me is giving me a ridiculous total that started out at $130 and when all was said and done ended up being $90 for rotating my tires, repairing one tire in two spots and sticking the nail back in my other tire to get me to the dealership. Apparently there is a $10 charge for cleaning the slime out of my tire? Either way, it truly makes you feel taken advantage of when someone tells you one thing and tries to get one over on you. Very unprofessional and Im not sure for one how I ended up here nor do I understand how they have stayed in business. Maybe because the people who end up here get taken advantage of as well? Very sad to say the least.

My friend had a BAD shimmy in her Pathfinder, had just begun on her way to my house. Stopped in at Tire Discounters. The service was wonderful, the price for the needed tire was great!! Also found out their hourly labor charge is quite reasonable.

Called on Friday for a price on mounting and balancing an 18 inch tire. They said $20. Next closest store in PG was charging $25. Took the tire in on Tuesday. They mounted and balanced and said the price was $35.

Sam and his crew were “The best!!!” I had a tire defect while on a long trip. I luckily made it to the exit of Punta Gorda. I called three tire stores who couldn’t help me until the next day. On the 4th call I got this place who told me they could help right away. They started to jack my car up within minutes of my arrival and my bad problem was solved within 20 minutes. Great service, good price!! Thanks guys.

As a 22 yr former local tire and auto repair business owner and another 10 yrs of experience before that and I’m also certified by the National Institute Of Tire Repair Safery. I thought I should post my experience here . In an emergency I had to stop to get a tire repaired as it was going down fast . I pulled in here and they found a nail in the outside edge of tire which I said that’s not fixable they tell me it is they can patch it . Trust me where this puncture was is a non fixable puncture area of the tire and not one tire manufacture recommends that in this area be repaired . I asked if he had a new one he said no but dragged out this “Like New” which is a used tire any way you look at it, he says for $85.00 lol i said no and asked just to put the patch on it knowing it will probably hold long enough so I can go elsewhere where I know the people and they know what they are doing . Also I don’t have a spare in this car or I would have put that on . Anyways tire was patched wasn’t rebalanced and they charged me $48.00 . Wow I use to charge $25 which included the tire being balanced and as far as used tires I sold them for $25.00 . Nothing short of screwing the customer here in my opinion. Furthermore I got a new tire put on and balanced elsewhere for $85.00 . In closing do your homework and shop around . Someone that doesn’t know any better would allow this tire to be fixed then take a chance of having it blowout somewhere possibly hurting them or someone else . Customers should go to a place where knowledge and honesty is a top priority and I can tell you it’s not here . Hope this helps some of you .

After other tire retailers quoted me outrages prices for 4 new tires, I went to TD and got excellent tires for less than half the price. Additionally, they have done occasional repair work for me and have always been fair, professional, and get the job done for much less than most garages. Highly recommended.

The owner is very dishonest vulgar and seems to have tendencies to be violent when confronted about these things. I took my mother to get to tires from these people and was quoted at $66 each and once I got to the register and the card was already being ran I saw the receipt and it said $186. I asked the guy behind the counter why it was so much and he told me that his guy quoted me at $166 for the pair. Upon requesting that the guy who actually gave me the quote come and verify this he said that he had quoted me $166 which is completely false because when he told me $66 I reiterated that price to him and he agreed. I guess the guy behind the counter turned out to be the owner and called me a liar told me he would give me my money back after being vulgar and threatening so at that point I didnt trust him or his employees to put the tires back on there without damaging the ones I came with or damaging the truck I was in in some manner. The owner continue to be vulgar and threatening and follow me out to the truck and was standing by the passenger window telling me to get out and take a swing at him but self-control got the better of me so I declined his kind offer. My mother insisted on calling the police and just like I knew they would they said it was a civil matter and they couldnt do anything so I just left with the tires because they were actually pretty decent and I didnt want to take the chance of them damaging the vehicle. Oh well a lesson learned. Make sure you get them to write you up a work order or receipt before they do the work or you might get ripped off like I did.

I took my vehicle there for tire service (had a leak). They replaced the valve stem. Next week, another one of my tires had a leak so I took it back, and it was a valve stem, even though I had replaced three of the stems previously in recent months. I had the tires balanced and rotated.In any case, I accepted it, and then two days later another valve stem went bad ( or was sliced) plus the balancing was not correct. I went to Goodyear down the street, they re-balanced all tires and said the tires were not even close to being in balance.Although it is only one persons experience, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Horrible! Liars and thieves... I was given a price on the phone and thought this sounds a little high, but the guy sounds like he knows what he is talking about.So, I send my wife with the car... They tried to double the price because I wasnt there. My wife calls me and I call them immediately, all of a sudden the price started changing. Shame on these CROOKS! What a black eye for such a beautiful place.

Terrible bunch of people that dont care and dont take the time to fix it car. They think they know everything and they wont do anything to fix your car saying that thats how the car is. Went in there Saturday came back to address there lousy job not a single person cared. All they want is quick cash with terrible Sevier FYI dont get an alignment no diagnostic sheet so u know it is awful

They should be ashamed to call themselves Tire Discounters. Because I was in a rush to get to Ft. Myers and needed a tire ASAP, I (reluctantly) bought a tire here. They charged $53 for a used tire for my small 2002 Toyota. I usually pay in the ballpark of $30-$40 for a nice used tire at Reynoso or Tysons. Just a fair warning to anyone who wants to do business with them!

Went here for a tire change and was told that I needed a sidewall repair. Mind you, I had a nail in the inner tire area. I was changed almost $40 just for them to repair it. I will not be bringing my business to them again.
