I had a Browning shotgun transferred into Higher Power Outfitters. Doug and the staff did a wonderful job. My experience, typically, at other stores is little to no customer service. Or you get what do you want attitude. Not at this store. Everyone was very helpful, had recommendations, and clearly wanted to ensure customer satisfaction.

I’ve been in a few times; bought some ammo, some gear, browsed, talked guns. Great place. Love the staff, none of these stuffy gun “you ought to know” types. No dumb questions and very welcoming.Been working with Ashley on some Cerakote projects. Outstanding service. It was explained it would take between 1-2 weeks to get my barrel swapped with a custom barrel. To my surprise I was called the next day to pick up my rifle that it is done. There was also an issue which needed research to complete the exchange. Everything was handled professionally and with expertise. All said and done I was also surprised and satisfied with the cost which was very reasonable. Happy with the outcome. Very courteous staff. Thank you to High Power Outfitter. Customer for life!

Small knowledgeable staff. Large selection of rifles and handguns even with the current state climate situation they’re still able to trickle in ammo( though a bit higher than what were used to paying though understandable again on par with 2020)they have it available when you need it.Full service Gunsmithing Too! Just about everything even Cerakoting. They explained how they can refinish old barrels or just make them custom colored and designed. Very neat process. Will continue to support local business now that I found this place.

I drove 90 miles one way for a warranty repair. I called first, but appointment was not necessary. Immediately when I arrived, the Owner/gunsmith dropped what he was doing and fixed my gun in about 20 minutes and I was on my way. No waiting for days, no hassle. Friendly, jovial, and knowledgeable staff. Well stocked shelves with ammo and quality accessories. No Walmart junk. If I lived closer they would be my home gun shop.

The first time I purchased a gun, was back in Jan. The staff knew, they were helping a fist timer. Nicer things could not have been said about them. Today, they outdid themselves. Purchased firearm from here, put 50 rounds through it and hated the performance (no fault of the seller) and brought it back in to upgrade via trade-in hoping theyd give me a decent amount of the buying price back; especially since I purchased it there and was willing to spend even more. Not so much. Low-balled me on price so I said okay and walked out with no intention on ever stepping foot back in. A week later I sold the gun online for 95% of original purchase price new. Purchased two other guns elsewhere since. And its nothing personal since I really liked the people working there but it was borderline offensive to a customer that was willing to establish a long-term relationship with many more future purchases. I was having trouble with my shotgun. I brought it in to be checked out. Within 5 minutes the gunsmith, Kail, figured out the problem. He explained it and showed me the problem. He also explained how he would go about fixing it. He said it may be a week before I could pick it up due to the work queued up.So far I am pleased with the service and Interaction.

I asked Ryan to order a 5 Walther PPQ for me as they didnt have one in stock. I also asked him if he would be interested in taking some guns I dont shoot much in on trade, he said bring them in and well take a look. Several days later Ryan informed me that my Walther had arrived so I drove up to Punta Gorda from Naples to pick up my gun. Ryan gave me a very fair price for the used guns I was looking to trade that I decided to pick up a Sig 230 as well. The entire process was very quick, professional and pleasant, unlike some gun shop where they seem to act like you should be happy they are willing to sell you something Ryan and his staff really seem to want to assist you and this combined with the fair pricing I received is the reason I will drive over an hour to purchase another gun form Higher Power Outfitters passing by a bunch of other gun shops along the drive.Thanks again now I just need to get both to the range.

I was looking at getting back into shooting and getting my concealed carry license a few years ago. Higher Power Outfitters Inc. was recommended very highly by a friend. My first impression was that they were courteous and professional. They were extremely patient, helpful and knowledgeable to people of all skill levels. I not only purchased my first carry pistol from here which was a Glock but I also took the concealed carry course they offered which was extremely informative. As I got to know Ryan and Paige better I found very endearing qualities. Honor and Honesty.. They will give you the honest answer and they refuse to price gouge. When the prices on 62 grain 5.56 went through the roof with the proposed ATF ban, they refused to jump on the band wagon and raise the price on their ammo because they didnt want to be known for that. Ive since had Ryan do a great deal of work on firearms I own from AR15 to pistols. All the gunsmith work has been exceptionally done and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Higher Power Outfitters Inc. to anyone!

In charlotte county there are many choices when it comes to gun shops. Some try adding walls of inventory of poor quality guns and ammo just for show and some have indoor ranges to attract people in the door. When you go to a place like higherpower the only thing they put on the shelf is top quality firearms no space fillers. Thier gun cleaning and serviceing is timely and to the highest standards. I have visited Higher Power Outfitters a couple of times in the past few months after I drove past and noticed how close they were to my neighborhood. I have bought several boxes of ammunition and each time i went in the staff was very welcoming and were happy to help. I recently went in about a week ago and asked to have a set of sights put on my Glock, they said absolutely, and in about 5 minutes i had my Glock back. I was expecting to leave and get a call back about my sights since of course they are busy working on others firearms, but they fit me in quickly. In my short wait, I got to meet Ryan, who was very knowledgeable and chatted with him for a little while. Him and his staff answered my questions and from what i could see did a great job on my Glock sights.I just tested out my sights after having to wait a week, no free time, and they are laser straight, no noticeable change in point of aim and point of impact. Excellent Service and great people. Im looking forward to spending more time there.
