This is truly a place to shop for paint and supplies. They have everything you need. Personalized service like the old days. Up to date on everything with old school charm. Everything has a place in the store, organized and Im proud to shop there. Im staying away from Big Box stores. Mom and Pop stores need my money. This place is 1 of or maybe the best place in town. Customer service with a smile. I absolutely love the no prices on anything. Its tricky but it works. I spent a little under $100 but feel great about it. Way to go. Marketing couldnt be better. I hope this owner takes good care of these employees. Im sure he does it obveious. Now look at my cheesecakes. I was replacing the headlights on my 2002 Tacoma and broke every retaining clip on the grill, 16 year old plastic parts what do you expect. Great, now what. This is the place to go. Ran me less than $5 for all of them, handed the gal a broken one and she was back in less than 2 minutes with the new ones. Took the time to look around before leaving, if you are into painting cars I cant imagine a better place to shop. Wet and dry paper in an amazing range, tapes, paint sprayers and stuff I have no idea what it was for. Also woodworking finishes, and house paints, metal treatments for both aluminum and steel. What really impressed me was the counter help. Two young guys were trying to paint a fender on a pickup and wanted it to match the rest of the truck. Their list of what they needed came to over 280. After the dismay over the price, the guy behind the counter asked them what they were doing and they explained. He told them they were buying way to much stuff and some of what they wanted wasnt even needed as it was part and parcel of another product. After the discussion over quantity quality, type of finish, the counter person got the bill of materials down to about 80, telling them how to mix what to get the effect they wanted. The guys wife had only given him 50 for what he needed they headed for home to get the extra 30. Hard to find that kind of counter help and for these 2 guys it was a life saver. This and materials on hand is why I gave this place 5 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about D&S, specifically Kris, one of the owners. We had an issue with the stain color on a Penofin product and Kris went out of his way to make it right, texting me after hours, opening cans on their shelf to test colors, ordering new inventory, and replacing what I had purchased; I was nervous to bring this to their attention, as most places couldnt have cared less after you leave their store, not D&S. They exceeded my expectations in every possible way and gained a customer for life! Thank you so very much for bringing customer service back to life.

I bought a used pickup with a smashed tailgate, so I bought a used tailgate that was a bright red (my truck is light blue). The staff was extremely helpful & with a fun attitude. And the paint was a perfect match for a 21 yr old truck. Thank you very much.

I Had bought some auto paint there. Went to paint my car, and paint was the wrong color mix. Had to drive close to 100 miles round-trip to get the right color mix. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY...

D & S used to be the place in Pueblo to buy finishing supplies. The last time I was in the store to purchase, the man behind the counter was armed like a policeman. I won’t shop D & S anymore because they feel they have to lethally defend their paint! If you’re so scared of your customers that you have to openly carry a gun in your store, hire a full time security guard.
