Pros:Countertop was correct, and looks goodAlex installer did a great job installingPartially attempted to make it right by offering a discount for being late/knicks but I had to askCons: (just a few pictures to confirm what Im stating, again the countertop itself looks good, but lack of forethought on bringing it in my house created a problem for me to deal with )Lack of communication 6 weeks late on installation was told 4-6 ended up being 12 weeks. It took me calling multiple times to make it happen.Lack of detail when bringing in countertop. Knicked up wall/floor a total 15 times. Took me saying something to get $170 compensation for being 6 weeks late and to help cover some of the repairs needed to our wall.Now spent 5 hours and $100 repairing and painting our walls. The touch up paint we got didnt quite match even with a chip sample, so we had to end up painting the majority of the walls.

Most unprofessional people to try and work with. I am involved on a project where these jokers were hired to build the laminate counter tops for the kitchen. These tops will be going on brand new cabinetry. I was there when they showed up to template with only a notebook and a tape measure. Generally counter top guys show up with a straight edge and a framing square as well when they come to template. Not these guys.I must hand it to them, their turn around time was pretty quick. However, the tops they delivered were completely wrong in every way they could be. I showed up on a Saturday to set the tops and install the back splash when I discovered that there were some major issues with the custom counter tops. The sink hole is cut off center, enough that the homeowners eye caught it, and the stove opening is pinched and the stove is not going to fit. Those are just the major issues. Now the sink sets below a large window. My sink base cabinet is centered on the window. The two upper wall cabinets are centered on the window. All this effort has gone into centering this kitchen around this window, as it is kind of the focal point of the room. Their solution to their mistake, buffalo the homeowner into excepting that her sink will be close enough to center.I highly recommend you do not use this company if you have a truly custom top you need built. Bathroom vanities, they are great for. Custom kitchens, dont have high hopes of getting what you expected or what should be done. These guys have no integrity.

Home Depot dropped the ball on us but Custom Laminates did a great job cutting the miters and re-routing for bolts. Since bought sheets of laminate. They had it the next day and gave great tips on installation. Small family operation. Very friendly and dedicated to being helpful.

Just the read the review by Jeff. I have done business with Custom Laminates for decades and found them to be professional. They stand by their work. Most tops have to be scribed since most walls are not perfect. This job was a remodel and work done on walls etc. in the past. Custom Laminate owners came out and looked at the counter and were willing to help the installer. Almost all laminate countertops have to be adjusted on the job site. Most installers can do this without all the drama. The goal we all have is to do a good job and not cause grief. The client has been gracious and is very happy with the end result. And that is a good thing.

I ordered counter tops from this company. The experience was not the best. While attempting to pick out a color one of the owners was smoking in my pregnant Wifes face. We wanted some professional guidance on how to do the project which they offered with a side of intolerance and a very bad bedside manner. After we ordered the counters they told use it would be next Wednesday before the counter material would arrive. Since we had bad weather we called to check on Wednesday if everything was still on schedule since being without a sink for 6 days already can become frustrating and you want to get an idea of when will get done. Little shipping delays can make a job take a lot longer. The lady was very rude and basically did not understand I was just looking for an updated schedule. In the end we had already decided to cancel our order when they called me and told me they did not want to do the job anymore. Lucky everyone is in agreement.

I have been in the construction business for a number of years. I have also remodeled more houses then I can ever begin to tell you.NEVER in all my years have I had a countertop maker show up with straightedges, slide rules, levels and so on. Walls are walls and as such are built the best that they can but will never have perfect square corners, perfect flat walls or perfect level floors.It is the job of the contractor to do their best to make the needed adjustments to correct for these imperfections.I have used Custom Laminates services on several occasions and it got to the point that I would send in pictures of the space and measurements of the openings and then for things like the sinks I would let them know where a window started and where it ended along with THE SIZE, STYLE, BRAND AND FASTENING SYSTEM the new sink was and Custom Laminates NEVER got it wrong.If for some reason a wall had a huge bow in it they would come out and offer solutions I may not have thought of and on occasions would make on site alterations to allow a beautiful finished product.I want everyone that reads this to know that Custom Laminates backs their work and are more then a pleasure to work with. If things turned out wrong it was always due to one of MY workers or myself relaying incorrect information.I strongly recommend them and if I was still working in Colorado I would use only them for the work.Randy Smith,R. I wish I could give zero stars! The most unprofessional messsiest unorganized business I have ever been associated with I believe...ordered Countertops on May 9th with a 4-5 week lead time...Received my Countertops on June 23rd after 3 rebuilds...lost tops and 20 promises never full filled. I paid half upfront for the product and was not offered any type of discount upon final payment...To top it off they went to my contracts house to ask for payment one day after we FINALLY received the tops....they couldnt give me ONE DAY as they harrasssd the client. Never do Business with these people...EVER!

We shopped at local big name home improvement stores and found our same choice at Custom for half the price. The customer service was excellent and the savings was even better!
