5th & Main Espresso Bar is located in one of Pueblos most beautiful historic landmarks. The restaurant is located just down from the original post office boxes. The Federal Building is on the National Register of Historic Places and was designed by William Martin Aiken who was appointed as Supervising Architect of the United States Treasury in 1895. During his short tenure, he oversaw the design of many notable federal buildings such as the Denver and Philadelphia mints. He also designed the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, US Courthouse and Post Office of San Francisco, and many more federal buildings in the USA.

Not only What is the older gentleman at the counter extremely rude And didn’t seem to even care that we were there and they have signs about signing in due to Covid and wear a mask and the guy didn’t even have a mask around his chin like most people do when they fake it but definitely felt like he didn’t want us there so for a small Pueblo own business you think That he would have better customer service And we’ve been there plenty of times in the past before Covid and thought we’d go back once we felt comfortable going out and after the way we treated we will never come here again.

Update please. Just spent 25 minutes trying to order delivery. Because it says delivery on main page. Cant get a decent breakfast delivered from a local spot. Cant support local businesses if they dont acclimate to the town and situations. With Covid, I would rather it be dropped at my door then have to figure a way to get to businesses without exposing oneself to lots of people. And I would rather support a local spot then a franchise.

Was highly disappointed in their willingness to adapt to dietary needs. They make sandwiches, it should be relatively easy to make accommodations. Ordered a turkey sandwich with just lettuce, onion and mustard. The guy behind the counter made a comment about being a picky eater, we shouldve left here. But we stayed. The guy took it upon himself to add bacon and cheese and was very proud when he delivered it as though it was a favor. A lady brought out the other food and I informed her I couldnt eat pork and Im lactose intolerant. She was very apologetic and quickly went to fix it. Then from the kitchen the man yells out to the table can you even have bread?! Which was highly embarrassing as other guest could easily hear, again should have left. But went ahead and waited for it. The bread was tough, the turkey was thick and over toasted. The person I was with said the potato salad was good but left most of the sandwich. Will not ever walk into this place again.

This is a cute little coffee shop in a historical building that really shows Pueblo’s character. The baked goods are TO DIE FOR and they serve delicious sandwiches and breakfast foods that would rival a lunch spot in Denver. My friend had a veggie bagel that was delightful and fresh. Cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls - small batch, friendly people, and decent prices. I’ll stop here as often as I’m in Pueblo!

This is truly an interesting and beautiful venue for a coffee bar/restaurant. Its in a post office, but dont let that put you off. They display (and sell) wonderful local art; the salads and sandwiches are delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented; the atmosphere is quiet and cozy; and the owners/staff are friendly and attentive and remember me when I go in even if its been awhile between visits. Im not a coffee drinker, so I cant speak to the coffee, but the fresh-brewed iced tea is wonderful. Having lunch is truly a treat each time I go in!

I was sent here after an appointment with my allergist as they advertise being vegetarian friendly. When my daughter ask about a vegan salad (leaving off egg and cheese) the man behind the counter said why not? She explained she was a vegan and he said just your choice. She explained that she is unable to consume dairy and again he said it was all in her head. I ordered a sandwich on gf bread. My daughter decided to wait and eat elsewhere. (I wish I had TOO but was very hungry) I explained that dietary needs are often life threatening allergies not choices as well as for some religious beliefs. He said again that was just their choice and if you take essential oils everyone can eat anything! Apparently he is a physician when not working the counter? My sandwich arrived bagged in a to go box when I ordered for here and...you guessed a wheat panini. I pointed out that I ordered gf and so the woman took it back and it reappeared in under a minute on gf bread. I suspect they moved the contents from the wheat bread as I was Ill later. I relayed the info to my allergist. Unfortunate.
