I needed a hitch receiver for my vehicle that day and they had one! Their store is the cleanest U-Haul store Ive ever seen. The guys are very patient and helpful. I was very impressed with their service, timing, and professionalism.
We were able to get our moving truck and a lot of moving supplies from this store. I want to give a special shoutout to Cody--he was willing to stay after his shift to help us hook up our car to the trailer when another coworker of his kind of left us in the lurch. Cody said he would rather we be safe on the road than worry about being a few minutes later at work. You rock, Cody.
The customer service here should be the standard. Very helpful and resolved all of my concerns in minutes. I have already told three of my family and friends to come here.
This isn’t necessarily a reflection of this particular dealer, but on U-Haul as a whole. My reservations just happened to be through this dealer, but U-Haul corporate was the real issue. I placed an order online a month ahead of my move date only to be called a few days later and told that there wouldn’t be any tow dollies in Utah Valley the week we were moving. Why it will let you make a reservation when they have no stock, I’ll never know. The website should absolutely indicate that they will probably be out of stock. I cancelled my reservation and went with Budget. Later, I worked with a U-Haul representative to set up another reservation and we got it all set up. A few hours later, another U-Haul rep called to say they wouldn’t have any trucks OR tow dollies on our move date. When I called back to get some customer support, I was on hold for 45 mins before I just hung up. Budget and Penske both got helped me within minutes and were much more reasonable to work with. If I ever have the choice, I will NEVER go with U-Haul. I would highly recommend checking out Budget or Penske first, especially if you’re moving during a busy season.
Do not use this location.Poor experience from start to finish.I walked into the location to be served and there is a person behind the desk in a Dinosaur blow up outfit. When I asked his colleague why he was in it he said its his last day and he doesnt care. Which was the general vibe of the entire place.I take my truck and return it. They then try to ping me for damages to the very top of the truck on a light. I did not drive under any overpasses or under any garages roofs and did not damage the truck in any way.I asked for them to provide photos of the truck before to prove it wasnt damaged. They said they could, but then could not present them to me. I called and asked for them and they still had no photos to prove it that I caused the damages.Do not use this location, the manager is out of his depth and would not talk to me, even though I was standing right there as he spoke to his employee.
Terrible experience. Told me that they could not accept electronic tender and tried to charge me 250 more than my reservation was listed (cash only). I’d like to assume that intentions were honest, but it sure seemed like there was some fraud going on. Their system was completely slow and could not pull anything up accurately. Would NOT recommend picking up from here. If you do, make sure you prepay online to avoid carrying hundreds of dollars cash on your person and pay the correct price.
Service was good, but I need a very specific truck for some specific items that were 7 tall. I was told the truck had a clearance of over 8 inside...but they neglected to say that the actual opening to the truck was only just over 6 1/2 tall....ended up having to waste a lot of time breaking down pallets of boxes to make them fit, and make extra trips too. Make sure you ask them what the opening size is, not the size inside the truck.

My husband posted as well, this is impacting both of and this is by far the worst experience Ive had with any type of auto service. U-Haul as a company has always been reliable and their corporate customer service has been phenomenal. This store and the management is absolutely awful!Absolutely absurd... On November 11th, I scheduled an appointment for Nov. 25th at this location for them to install a trailer hitch on my car. My husband and I moving across the country on Dec. 4th, to North Carolina. The move has a lot of moving parts, and it was pretty important to us that we leave on the 4th.So, as I said, I scheduled the appointment for U-Haul to install our trailer hitch early in the morning on Nov. 25th. We live down in Ephraim nowhere near a U-Haul, so I woke up early and drove over an hour in order to be at the appointment on time.When I arrived, however, I was informed by an apathetic-seeming employee that they didnt have the part in stock, and that we needed to order the part online and come back. He blamed the manufacturer for this, but when I asked him WHY no one thought to call and tell me earlier, they didn’t even have an answer. Furthermore, the employee informed us that they would not refund us any of the cost of the appointment—not even the cost of the part—until we ordered the part, came back and closed out the transaction, as he put it.So I wasted 2, almost 3 hours of my time and gas to drive up there and back for nothing. All because someone didn’t pick up the phone and let me know. This could have been SUCH an easy fix.So, fine. Breathe. They were dumb, but well just order the part and theyll install it. So right there on the 25th, we ordered the part on Amazon. We couldnt find one that would come in a sooner arrival window than Dec. 1-3rd (remember, our move was scheduled on the 4th), but so long as it arrived in the window we would be okay. Never mind that, because the geniuses at this U-Haul wouldnt refund us for the part that they didnt even have, we had to spend over a hundred dollars that we hadnt anticipated spending above and beyond the 430 bucks that we had initially budgeted for it.So on the 25th, we order the part. Its set to arrive between the 1st and the 3rd. We continue preparing for the move, anxiously hoping that the part will arrive on time.Today we look, and on Amazon it is now stating that the part will arrive between the 3rd and the 7th of December. And GUESS WHAT? On the 7th, our apartment has other people who are scheduled to move in. Thats why it was so crucial that we get moved out on the 4th.This is nowhere near being Amazon’s fault. It’s the holiday. It all comes back to consideration for customers. At least I can TRACK it!And so, let me paint a pretty picture of our situation: Weve already put in our last days at work. Our apartment is already signed off to be rented to someone else. And now, because nobody at this U-Haul location bothered to pick up the phone and call us, we are having to change our move date. This means calling people in NC and changing plans on the other end, and calling all of the friends we were planning to stay with in other states along the way and changing plans with them. And for however many days that we are stuck here in limbo, we have no jobs and no place to live.But to the folks over at this U-Haul location: in the future, please remember that were people. We arent just appointments in your book or digits on your paycheck. Maybe you get paid regardless of whether you do your job well or not. But you doing your job diligently makes a massive difference in the lives of the people you have been hired to serve. Moving, with all of its pomp and deadlines, is a stressful enough event as it is. We trust you to help us make a tough transition smoother. If you let us down, it throws our lives into chaos.Please, in the future, try caring about the people behind the numbers at least enough to do your fetching job right!
One guy working on a weekday. Took me over 20 minutes to get my propane filled after informing him I needed it done. I got left behind as he kept helping people who came in after me.
The manager had great customer service. Nice location, would recommend the vendor.
I was helped very quickly and courteously by two different staff members, including helping to troubleshoot my vehicles fuses for trailer lights. They gave me two fuses no charge and even without this gesture I was pleased with everything.
Stay away from this place. Customer service is not a priority to them
Their system was down and it took me 4 hours to pick up my truck reservation. Normally I’d leave a worse review, but the staff was very helpful. Beyond that, one employee, Dustin, stayed with me personally for over an hour. He troubleshooted the system, made phone calls, and did everything possible to ensure I was helped. Dustin showed more care for a customer than I have ever seen before in a business. He should get a raise or a promotion or both.
Frustrating to work with. I called online and let them know the specifications for my trailer (Ford F250 hauling a Honda Pilot). They ran it through the system and said it would be more than fine to use their trailer. I show up after driving for 30 mins, they said I couldnt rent the trailer because the truck couldnt pull something so heavy. He sat there in front of the computer and asked if all the info was correct....I told him no and he continued to tell ME that my truck couldnt haul more than 5,000 pounds.I also got charged an extra fee for after hours. The customer service was great and issued a refund. TIP: When returning, use their app. They dont tell you about the fees associated with returning in person. It apparently costs extra to talk to someone.
Scheduled a hitch install 4 weeks ago. I was told an hour before my appointment that the part was on backorder and wouldnt ship until the next day and be there a few days later. Not sure why they couldnt have known this days before. So I show up for my rescheduled appointment only to be told that they cant install the hitch on my vehicle (2019 Jeep Cherokee) again, not sure why they couldnt have told me this before.So here I am a day before needing to pick up my trailer to move across the country with no hitch. What a horrible experience. Had to go to the dealer last minute and pay them triple the price to get a hitch installed.
Another U-Haul location changed our reservation time without telling us and we showed up to find a locked door and no way to get our truck. We called these guys and they bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of in a very stressful situation. Rare to find this kind of service in the Covid era of anger and fear. Thanks a million.
BE VERY WEARY, DON’T USE THIS Location! The rental contract and The Employee told us to return our rentals by 9pm. To avoid extra fees. So after a very long Day of moving My husband goes back at 8:30p to return them as promised. And The placed Was closed at 8PM! We are dropping them off at 7am sharp! They better not change us for an extra day! We won’t be using this location again.😡
Negative 5 stars!! I couldn’t imagine a worse experience. From the punk kid that whined about how hard his job is to the complete disregard for safety this entire organization is a joke.It all started with a call the day before I was supposed to pick up a trailer to tell me the trailer I needed was unavailable at the location I originally picked. This meant I had to drive an extra 30 min out of my way. When I got to the pickup location the kid behind the counter whined about how tired he was and frankly was all around just a punk. Poor representative of a company.I got the trailer and noticed a screw in a tire. I had a 250 mile journey ahead of me and felt the risk wasn’t worth the reward. I tried to call the pickup location back and waited 5-10 min on hold 5 times. I tried to call other nearby locations with the same result. Yes they were all “open” according to the recorded message. So I called the national number. Patricia was helpful and got someone out about an hour later to change the tire.While the tire guy was working I checked the brake fluid in the trailer brake system...BONE DRY!!! Worst part is there is a sight glass to see the fluid level so they didn’t even need to unscrew the cap to check the level!!!So Patricia sent another repair person to take care of this issue. (Just in case you don’t know, when brake fluid is TOTALLY empty you can’t just pour it in and go) about 2 hours later the repair guy asked me to join him and he showed me the completely severed brake line just dangling!I’m now over 3 hours late to leave with best case scenario of leaving in 2 more hours if I wait for another trailer.Even a quick safety check by the dumbest kid I know once a month would have been enough to prevent this problem (remember the sight glass on the reservoir?)I’m currently waiting for a customer service agent to call me back (because Patricia and I were both sick of waiting on hold after 10 minutes) to refund the charge because I never even got to use the trailer.At this point I would rather push the little truck 250 miles than use U-haul.
We rented a moving truck and our experience was good. We didnt have any issues with the truck or services.
My rating applies to U-haul in general (Boston location and Provo). Weve used their services 4 times in the last 18 months, and have had difficulty with each experience. Currently our credit card is disputing $1,000 of unauthorized charges from U-haul for U-boxes we stopped using in April, but U-haul kept sending us bills and suddenly we saw the charges on our statement last week. Its taken over 2 months for my husband to get a simple receipt from U-haul (for the U-boxes) so he can be reimbursed by his work for our move. We still dont have it. The company cant find the receipt anywhere---says the Boston location, and the Provo location isnt allowed to access/email the receipt. Its all very strange. This most recent experience, we called in several days before our move and requested to extend our truck rental from 1 day to 2 days. We were told we could do that and every thing was set. My husband went to pick up the truck Friday morning at 9:30 and was told he had to bring it back by 5pm--and that we couldnt keep it b/c it had been reserved by 2 other customers for later that day. This was the last straw. I called and spoke with the manager who I believe is kind and reasonable, but he told me the best they could do was cancel our reservation completely and refund us the $50. Obviously not helpful on moving day when we NEEDED the truck. I told him if we actually couldnt have the truck for longer, that should have been communicated to us and it was the companys job to make it right. The manager offered 50% off our rental fee, I said it should be refunded completely, 100%. He told me he couldnt do that and has never done that--that his branch would have to eat the cost. (thats the whole point of Customer Satisfaction when theres been a mistake, U-haul!!) We talked some more and I suggested he give us a 75% refund. He agreed. When we brought the truck back that evening at 5pm, we were pleased to hear they did give us a full 100% refund on our use of the truck that day. I appreciate him doing that. But it was like pulling teeth to get such fair compensation. Weve given U-Haul enough of our time and money. We wont be using their services again.
They were fast with getting me my truck that I reserved. And getting everything checked out is easier through the App. I did however lock myself out of the Uhaul and was stranded at a nearby gas station. The staff here were nice enough to let me use their phones and called for roadside assistance for me. They even gave me a ride back to the gas station. Very helpful during a stressful situation.
Terrible customer service!I called multiple times to confirm that if I came in before they closed I could pick up a hitch that I needed that night. I had to hurry to get there, and I walked in right before they closed. The guy at the counter said that they were closing and he couldnt help me. I explained that I was just there to pick up a hitch that I would install. I explained that I had called multiple times and had worked it out already, that they had one in stock, and I would just take it home and install it myself, but he said that call was not with him, and he was not willing to help me. After some more discussion he agreed to help me after he did some things on his computer first. I told him that was not a problem. A couple of minutes later another man walked in and asked what was going on. The man at the counter said that he was just helping me with a hitch. The man that had entered the store said, no, it is now 6:02pm, and we are closed. The man at the counter changed his mind and decided not to help me even though I was there before they closed.I was not able to get a hitch that night, and they have lost all of my future business as well. Turning away quick and easy business and treating customers poorly is a very bad way to run a business. They are part of a large company so they can survive even while treating customers in this manner, but they are definitely making a lot less for the company than they would if they went out of their way to take care of customers - or even just allowed customers to buy things when they arrive in their stores before they close.
Terrible attitudes by the employees making excuses why they don’t have what they originally said they did. They are unable to update there website with current availability so they get you to make a reservation then send you 30-40 minutes down the road to a different location and hope they have what you need. Better off talking to a brick wall.
I just want to say Mark, Jack and Fred are just wonderful! Im moving to Texas today Memorial Day weekend and I need a compact truck to attach to my Honda Civic 2013 and they close at 7 they all stayed after to help me get a hitch and attach it to it so I can rent a little truck to it in order to put the rest of my stuff in it. Amazing customer service! I would recommend this to anyone!
Dustin at this Uhaul location is AWESOME! He wired my truck and he was on time and did great work! I really appreciate him taking time to show me what he was doing and ask me how I wanted the work done. I will definitely go to him again! Thanks Dustin!
Ive rented an open utility trailer, 26 cargo truck, and had them fix some wiring issues on my truck. Excellent service all three times. Fast, friendly, professional, & fairly priced. Easily the best U-haul location Ive ever dealt with.
Staff was helpful and gave me good tips for driving and improving gas mileage. We went back twice to rent equipment in one day, and they were helpful and got us on the way quickly. The only place in town thats open if you need equipment on a Sunday.
QR code for after hours dropoff is printed terribly. Tried scanning it from uhauls trashy website for 10 minutes with no success. They still charged me an extra $20 for my return. Never going back here.
I needed to have a trailer hitch installed on my vehicle, so I asked these folks if they could do it for me. I actually spoke with the manager, and he was very accommodating. He asked that I bring the hitch in so they could make sure that it would fit OK before saying that theyd install it.I brought it in, and they took a look at it and they took my vehicle out back right away and had it all installed within a half hour. The employees there were friendly, and the technician that installed the hitch really went the extra mile. I was thoroughly impressed with our experience there, and Ill definitely be going back there in the future.
No point in reserving because they will just transfer your reservation to a different location 20 miles away and then say Talk to the new location, we cant even see your contract anymore when you ask about the difference in miles you have to pay for now. Dont worry though, theyll call about 45 minutes before your scheduled time to pick up to let you know.
I’m simply giving this review because of Cathy! We were having real difficulties with our uhaul and we were told our uhaul was going to cost a little over $1,000. It was a 5X8 trailer that we used for 4 days. Kind of ridiculous. Especially since we had talked to about 30 Uhaul employees over that course of time saying it would be under $500. However, Catch actually CARED about us. She tried to do everything to help us and that right there is why I can return here because of an employee like her! She spent time with us to make sure we were happy.
Terrible customer service and reservations that mean nothing. Over a week ago I made a reservation to get a hitch installed on my car so that I could tow a Uhaul trailer that day to move apartments.Literally 1 hour before the appointment I get a call informing me that the hitch parts were on back order and they didnt have them and no other store in a 180 mile radius did. I can understand if that is out of their control but by calling me only 1 hour before I was left with no time to prepare and I am now scrambling to find a way to move.Plus the guy on the phone was super unapologetic and couldnt have cared any less about the situation.
Jack had excellent customer service and they got me exactly what I needed. The best part was that they were close by and open on Sunday. Moving on the weekend is very difficult when you cant find a trailer.
We were transferred to 3 different stores even through we had a reservation. B/c of this our movers werent able to help, and we had to do the move with just the two of us. Worst experience with Uhaul ever. I even went into the 1st Uhaul location ( Uhaul Store at Bulldog in Provo) that we choose on the reservation and asked them to confirm the reservation. They said everything was setup, but then gave away our trailer and acted like we were the ones who showed up to the wrong location on day of pickup. Then sent us to another store that didnt even have the right equipment, so we had to drive 20 min to the Fleming Storage where we had to wait for them to open/ show up which was 45 min. Our reservation was set for 8:00 AM didnt get our trailer till 11 AM The gentleman was very nice, but our order was messed up because of the Bulldog location who added two extra days on our account and charged us which we didnt ask for, so we paid for two extra days and have asked 2 different people to refund the money still no refund. Really a terrible experience. Why did I even bother making a reservation it would of been cheaper to just walk in.
These guys are honest, hard-working, and proactive!!They are also very respectful and worked around my crazy schedule when I last moved. Excellent customer service! They are respectful towards veterans which is also a plus.
One of the workers here went above and beyond an extra mile to help me out!Hooked up the trailer, tested the lights, cleaned the connection when it didnt work at first, then replaced a fuse when that didnt work, THEN grabbed me an adapter to try hooking it up a different way when THAT didnt work... I was deffinetly impressed as I sat in my cab wondering how long I wouldve taken trying to do that by my self!The wait was a little long though 😅
I love this location. Everyone is so nice and patient and helpful. I ended up canceling my moving company because U-Haul was so much easier to work with.
Ive worked with dozens of truck rental locations in the last 5 years, and this is my favorite by far. I dont know where the other reviewers get off: Ive used them hundreds of times, and they have always treated me very well, been very prompt and courteous, and Ive never had a problem with them. John, the manager, is extremely competent and easy to work with. If you have need of a rental truck in Utah Valley, this is the location to get it.
Truck was clean and the service was descent. The only issue i had was the 26 foot truck I rented had an issue with the overdrive. When I had the overdrive on the truck was getting about 3 miles per gallon. I eventually figured it out and just turned the overdrive off. The reason for the 3 stars was they did not offer to help with the cost of gas after I pointed it out. Not a huge issue I would have been nice if they offered. I only drove the truck for 54 miles and had to put 15 gallons of gas in the truck about 30 dollars. I was very suprised how well a truck of that size handled.
Made an appointment to get a hitch put on my car. I arrived at the time that they had sent me in my confirmation. When I got there they told me that I was two hours early and that they had moved my appointment time.
Love renting U-haul trucks. I ended waiting in line for 20 minutes for my rental. It was a busy weekend, but they should bring in more help on those days.
Got our propane tank refilled here. Probably should have swapped one at the grocery store. I had to wait a long time before the customer service guys even asked me if I needed help and even longer before they helped me. I dont recommend this place for having good customer service.

Uhaul reservation line promises longer term rentals only to find out from Steve (Manager of Provo, 551 Columbia Ln) that my longer term rental isnt possible and cannot be accommodated. Explained by him to me in a very rude way.Basically Steves position is that future customers are more important than an existing/paying customer (me).
Very easy to work with. My only frustration is that the employee kept hitting the Agree button for me when going through the terms. I would have liked to read them though so that I understand what Im agreeing to.

You can usually find what you need for moving without much trouble however I do recommend reserving your equipment 24 to 48 hours in advance so you have an easier time getting it parking is a little bit limited so if youre needing to leave your car you may want to have someone take you to the location to pick up the equipment
I just had trailer light wiring installed on my 2012 Sprinter on 8/19/2016. The Uhaul price was reasonable compared to other locations. The installation at this location is the worst I have ever seen. The installer didnt even try to hide the wires. I have a black wire running on the inside from the back of my van to the driver side floor board. There is not enough slack in the wire for me to hide it under the flooring. I then have yellow and green wires running along the back of my van from side to side. They are stuffed into a small groove, but completely visible. I now have the 4-flat wires on the inside. I have to open the door and drop the wires out the back door to connect to my trailer. The worst part is I now have scratches all over the plastic side pannels he had to remove to connect wires to the taillights, and Im missing three push pins to connect the panels to the inside walls. Fortunately the lights work, but I dont think I will take it back there to fix it. Im better off doing it myself.
Great, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I needed a brake controller and tow plug installed, and they got it done lickety-split. I have been going here over 20 years, and they are my go-to shop for all things Uhaul!

Bad customer service. They never have more than one guy at the front desk, and they usually don’t know what they’re doing. Twice now I have come in to get propane and have left after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to help me

The truck I rented was fine, but very poor service. They had written down the mileage wrong, so they they tried to charge me a ton for gas even though I had only driven 3 miles. It took forever to sort out and I had to wait outside in the cold.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They told me that my card would not be charged, just the money be put on hold. Well in turn made my account go in the negative and my bank charged a fee. Well when I looked at my receipt they had put it through as debit and not credit even though I didnt put in my PIN number, and I signed the cc machine. They are blaming it on my bank cause the bank told them that since it is a debit card that they cant charge it through credit, which is bullshit. I NEVER go back to that location.
This store is by far the worst customer service I had ever had anywhere. I work for a large company that has a lot of potential work for U haul but we never will never work through U haul again. We asked to get a specific hitch size put on a new vehicle. It took 2 days longer than they promised and then when I picked op the hitch it was the wrong size, not only was it the wrong size but there was damage done to the vehicle. Trying to get ahold of the store was a joke. Honestly I have no idea how they are still in business. Worst service experience I have ever had. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
This U-Haul has really poor customer service. If you can get your equipment somewhere else, go somewhere else. Timp Rental and A-1 Rental are good alternatives for most needs. Home Depot rents trucks and then there is also Budget Truck Rental. We had a dispute with them over a double-charge on a credit card and I ended up needing to just dispute the charges with my credit card company. The credit card company has good service, U-Haul has poor service. The lines there have usually been long and with the bad service, I dont know if Ill be going there anymore.

Whenever we need to move something big around town, well use u-haul. Theyve always been reliable.
I was able to rent some trucks from here as well as help others. The staff do a good job generally. One time I was rented a truck and when I returned it, the staff was having issues because it sounds like they gave me a different truck than the one listed on the paper work. The trucks at least worked well. Another time when I was helping someone else it felt like they were disorganized too.
Quoted me one price, about 20 dollars more plus tax, which i asked if it was included. Not to mention it took almost 15 minutes waiting to get this news before I was helped. Went with Penske, a little more on the quote, but it was what they said it would be, and the service was great/ fast.

If I could give this a 0 rating I would. We rented an enclosed trailer on Saturday for a return day of Monday. We had to move stuff to Idaho. With the bad weather we got delayed and really didn’t want to pull an empty trailer from Idaho back to Utah and risk rolling over with it. We called Uhaul in Provo yesterday to ask how much more it would be to be able to just leave the trailer in Boise at the Uhaul there. Every time we called we got transferred 3 or 4 times and eventually hung up on. We called 5 TIMES!!!! We finally just drove to the Uhaul in Boise and asked what it would cost. Keep in mind we already paid $65 for two days of use for the trailer. We were told that it would cost an additional $400 to be able to leave it in Boise. $400 ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This was so pathetic that we couldn’t get a hold of anyone to figure this out and then they want $400 extra to leave it there. I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again especially this Provo location.
I just brought back our uhaul rental 1 hour ago. Where I met Dustin Child a.k.a the man! He turned a huge after hours server & app issue. Not to mention extremely stressful solo move into an upgrade from a long bed pickup rental into a 15 at the same $19.95 & .69 cents per mile rate. If this is not the best uhaul rental place in the state of Utah I beg to differ. Awesome 5 star experience above, and beyond very pleased. I will highly recommend this uhaul in Provo to all in need of moving equipment!
Helpful staff. Had everything I needed for my move. They did take a long time to process the people ahead of me so it took me a while to get out of there.
The only reason I am not giving them one star is because the people that helped me with the trailer I needed were great. My experience with scheduling the trailer was not great. The experience I had trying to get a trailer hitch installed on my vehicle was horrible. Trying to get anything done through U-Hauls website or their phone number is ridiculous. They dont keep inventory or scheduling in synch, making anything you do through the site or phone number a waste of time.
I frequently rent trailers and I specifically go to this location every time because theyve been great to work with.

Rented a truck for a few hours and returned it the same day we rented it, got an email a day later saying that we had not returned the truck. Terrible experience. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Took a long time to get our trailer and there was no place to drop it off when we got back. Hopefully that doesnt usually happen, but it wasnt great.
Kept my truck an extra day because of the quote I was given. When I returned it after hours, I received an email with charges that were over double what I was quoted! The charges were legit (insurance, taxes, etc), but were charges I was not informed of when I initially called! I wish they would have told me the EXACT charges when I asked for the quote.I called the store manager and he split the charges with me, which was great. Refunded the initial charges and charged me half of that. Which is GREAT.The problem is that both the initial charges and the corrected charges went through my account and because I literally spent every last penny moving, I received an overdraft fee, which ironically enough, was pretty close to what Uhaul refunded me. I tried to explain this problem to the manager at Uhaul and he said it wasnt his problem and I needed to call my bank.If I had just been told the TOTAL charges when I called, I could have avoided all this headache. This is why I am giving them a poor-fair review. Just be more thorough, Uhaul!

The customer service was terrible to say the least. My company has 5 of the biggest units at this facility and I called to get another. Instead of helping and offering suggestions the representitive spoke to me as if I was incompetent. Wasnt willing to work with me and kept trying to push me to store our items at a different location when we already have units at this partiuclar location. I will be looking to take my business elsewhere. Terrible, terrible customer service.
We came in here by accident when we shouldve gone to the other U-Haul location down the street. However, these guys were super friendly and helped us figure out exactly where we needed to go.

Rented a 15 truck here and when I got there it was a 20 they had reserved for me. I was kind of upset, but we ended up filling it up so it worked out.
What can I say, its a Uhaul rental store. I reserved a truck to move, I picked it up, moved, brought it back, and paid them money. No complaints.
The guy that helped us was very nice. Prices are typical.

Ive used uhaul for years but the service I received from the Provo location was horrible on my latest rental. I had a pickup truck that I rented for a week and got an approval to extend for a month online. I called Provo and talked to a person that had no respect for his customers. He said he didnt care what they told me online I couldnt have it! Im changing to their competition where Im sure theyll want my business.

Staff are unfriendly, totally unhelpful and most of the time wont even answer their phone. I finally went somewhere else after trying to get through for over four hours
