Took my 91 y.o. father for an evaluation. Hes been wearing hearing aids since before age 40. He had read an article about cochlear implants and so we set it up to find out what would be recommended. He was first seen by the audiologist for a very thorough hearing test. Then he was seen by the surgeon to found out more how they work. They were fantastic with communication with my Dad. He was treated with the utmost respect and they were great with us, his family in explaining the whole process and even the advances in hearing aids should be choose this. Very friendly staff as well!
This is one of the worst doctors experience I’ve had in my life, I’m not one to leave reviews often but it was terrible! It was a ridiculous wait to even see doctor Stephenson he didn’t explain, he wouldn’t answer my questions. I do not recommend this office! It was a complete waste of my time and money to see him.
Absolutely wonderful staff if you have ear issues they are the ones to see
I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and had to have my thyroid and several lymph nodes removed (in 2 separate surgeries). BOTH surgeries were extensive and the lymph nodes were woven in between my vocal chords and around my vocal chord nerve. By all means, I should be voiceless right now. HOWEVER, Dr. Stephenson was patient and took his time and got all the cancer and I still have my voice! It definitely helps that he specialized in vocal chords. I have met several people who have lost their voices in less extensive surgeries. I would recommend Dr. Stephenson to anyone and everyone. He is very kind and professional. He does excellent work and I will trust him time and again (in fact my husband is scheduled to see him about his hearing problems). His team also worked well with the Thyroid institute to squeeze me into each others schedules when needed so I didnt have to make the 2 hour trip more than necessary. I would highly recommend him.
Awful customer service, and treatment. We waited over an hour, and then the front desk after we checked in told us that they were waiting on our paperwork to be turned in when they could’ve let us know that when we signed in. It was also an unpleasant visit. There’s a weird charge on my bill that we don’t have results from or explanation. No one is answering to discuss why or to explain this charge. I have tried getting in contact twice, which is why I am trying to reach out here for an explanation.
They were great and took great care of my needs.
Wow! We are so impressed and very thankful to Peak ENT! My husband had a Zenker Diverticulum. It required a MAJOR throat surgery. Dr. Stephenson did an amazing job! He took such great care of my husband. He’s follow up care has been just as amazing. If we could give more than five stars we would.
Got my tonsils out at Peak ENT but after the surgery I still had some of one of my tonsil left! At my follow up I showed this to the doctor and they were going to take care of it right then and there but... because they didnt want to have to cover the costs therfore admitting it was their fault.. they sent me away and have left me with this irritating and painful chunk of tonsil in my throat for well over two weeks while they wait for an answer from the insurance company whether they will cover the cost of fixing my throat. My throat is still a mess and I havent heard anything from Peak ENT even though I have called. I feel neglected as a patient and fear my quality of life is forever affected by their negligence and refusal to treat me with care.Update: Peak ENT finally got back to me a few days after my original review and had me come in. They removed my remaining tonsil chunk and were very nice.I like the doctors at Peak ENT but was disappointed overall by my experience as I wasnt treated very well as a patient.
This is the worst medical institution I have ever come into contact with, and I’ll NEVER go back. They told me that I required an operation that ended up being 100% useless and then (after saying that my insurance always covers the cost) charged me wayy more than was originally conveyed when I asked how much I would be paying out of pocket. I went in for several appointments, to which the doctors just “transferred me to another specialist” several times, and my health issue never got resolved through them. They don’t know what they are doing— complete joke of a group.
This would be a five star review were it not for Jen, the P.A. She was so rude and condescending. The rest of the team and testing team were so pleasant and professional.
I have been to Dr. Shipley multiple times over the last 10-15 years for routine visits for minor issues. I have an extensive hearing loss history including many surgeries and procedures and see a surgeon up a the U. I felt confident that Dr. Shipley could handle some of my more routine visits. Everything has generally gone well at my visits with him until the last few, especially the last. Not only was he extremely stand off-ish, he called his “scribe/nurse” on his cell phone to dictate the notes for our appointment on speaker phone- during the visit he mentioned to her that I had likely had a certain procedure done in the past, in which I had not- I told him I had never had the procedure he was referring to and he ignored me and went on to tell his scribe to put it in my file.Shouldn’t he know my history? It’s in my file- I’ve only been seeing him off and on for 10 years or more. He then went on to complain about cleaning out my ear canals and how hard they were and questioned why I had waited so long to come in. Didn’t address the issues I had going on and could have cared less to help me. I will never return to see this provider and will never refer family or friends again. So disappointed.*UPDATE*I ended up meeting with my surgeon up at the U about the issues I was having that were not resolving since I had been in to PEAK ENT previously and I am potentially facing a fairly seriously issue in my middle ear that will likely require surgery. I’m glad I got another opinion. This issue could have caused extensive damage and even facial paralysis if not treated.
From day 1, I was treated with respect. From the front office, the nurses, and Dr. Beus. I had suffered for months with a stuffy nose and sore throat. I went to another ENT and they blew me off. Dr. Beus listened and offered more than one option to help me. Ultimately, I had sinus surgery, septoplasty, and a sphenoid cyst removed. The surgical center was awesome. I recovered quickly and feel much better.Dr. Beus’ nurse practitioner (Jinil) is awesome too. I’m very happy with PEAK ENT.
Amazing staff and Drs
Loved all the help we received here. They keep in contact and updated!
Loved this office, they did an in office procedure that worked great, recovery was easy, and their care and follow up was well done.
I took my little girl to see Dr. Schramm. We waited an hour and ten minutes in the waiting room, pretty much by ourselves, even all the people who came after us, passed before my little girl so I dont understand why there was such a long wait. Then I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be, and why I hadnt been called back yet. She told me that the Dr. would be ready in 3-5 minutes. She finally was called back to have her vitals checked. After that we went into the examination room and waited, and waited. AND WAITED!! For almost another 20 minutes!! No one showed up. I finally looked out into the hall and asked if my little girl was going to be seen soon. The nurse said, that Dr. was really busy, and only he has to see another patient before my daughter. What!!? I didnt know if it was a joke or this was really happening to us. So i just left. The customer service is dreadful! So, If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
Dr Riddle is awesome! The surgery he performed allowed me to breathe normally 🥳 and I didnt have any outward scars or bruising. He did a great job!
Dr. Shramm is amazing. He is thorough and attentive. He has helped my daughter with her ear problems and done two surgeries on her ears. She has recovered well from both of them.I also really appreciate him taking notice of things that seemed off and addressing them just to be cautious and we then learned that my daughter was having some extra health issues that no one could see.Highly Highly recommend him.
Go somewhere else. I met with Jenny Coy and she was absolutely rude and useless. After a long series of tests for what could be wrong with my virtego she came in and says what the tests showed isnt what it is because that is rare. Ignoring the recommendation of two doctors before her. Then she proceeded to tell me I needed steroids because that may or may not help. When I said I dont want steroids to avoid weight gain (since I had been taking steroids on and off for the past 8 months for other reasons and gained a significant amount of weight from them) she said, and I quote, I doubt that, just dont eat sweets. I was shocked that she would be so flippant and out right rude, especially when she didnt have all the facts. She laughed at sincere questions that were asked and ultimately said my options were the steroids or nothing. As I was leaving clearly frustrated, not helped, and worried about my health she said if it didnt work with the steroids to just call. NEVER go there. There may be other other competent doctors that may work at PEAK but from my experience it was a serious waste of time and Dr. Coy was completely useless and demeaning.
Wow! These guys are lifesavers. Literally.
I did not have a positive experience at Peak ENT. I will not go back there, and I would not recommend them.
Walking to the car afterwards my 3yr old told me they are nice. The boy doctor checked my ears soft. I like them. Dr. Bues is professional, knowledgeable and kind. I appreciated how he listened to my concerns and presented possible solutions helping me make an informed decision.
I think Dr. Darley and the other providers there are great, but I was mistreated with my experience at Peak ENT. As a student I was concerned about cost and got a quote for everything beforehand that would be done to be around $500 for the first visit, 5 tests, and a follow up visit. After waiting each visit about an hour in the waiting room and never getting a clear diagnosis or solution for my hearing problems the bills added up to be over $1000. I contacted the billing desk but there was nothing they can do. It was dishonest of them and I would recommend going somewhere else unless they can change their business model to accept responsibility and be honest.
PEAK ENT, Kurt Beus in particular is absolutely amazing.I highly recommend them, so good that I would drive from Salt Lake County. The endoscopic sinus surgery really helped clean out my sinuses and reduce the severity of recurring bouts with sinusitis. They also have excellent staff in their allergy department.
I had sinus surgery with them and they were amazing, even with the pandemic hitting right after, the follow up care has been amazing. My littlest was also seen here after a nose injury, that dr took great care of her.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The customer service is TERRIBLE! I had an appointment there in March. I waited almost an hour in the waiting room. I actually fell asleep waiting, otherwise I would have gone to the receptionist to find out why I hadnt been called back yet. I finally was called back to have my vitals checked and then went into another room for a hearing test for what I thought was fluid in my ears. After my hearing test I went back into the examination room and waited. And waited. AND WAITED!! For almost another hour!! I finally looked out into the hall and asked if I was going to be seen soon. The nurse practitioner said, Oh my gosh! Hasnt the doctor been in to see you yet!!?? She said he was really busy and came in and checked me out for all of 2 minutes and sent me on my way. Unbelievable! I was there for over 2 hours. I never did see the doctor. My portion of the bill was almost $200!! I called to contest the charges, but they wouldnt make any adjustments. Wont be going back ever. :(
Great doctors and surgeons. Friendly and knowledgeable.
I waited an hour and twenty minutes in the waiting room, pretty much by myself, so I dont understand why there was such a long wait. Then I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be, so they took me back to a treatment room and I waited another 10 to 15 minutes to be seen. All of this to have my ear cleaned out, which took about 30 seconds. The recommended that I have a hearing test done, so I waited another 15 or so minutes and no one showed up, so i just left.
My husband had his nose fixed and my son had his broken nose fixed. The doctors were great and the nurses were helpful!
Best audiologist, hearing aid support, and ear cleaning people.Clean, fresh, accessible location.
My family has been going to Peak ENT for over 6 years. We have seen Dr. Beus, Dr. Darley and most of the audiologists. I am very impressed with each of them, they have all taken the time to get to know my kids and their individual situations. Both of my kids have had surgeries and they went great! We have had no problems with scheduling and never have to wait long for our appointments. I always recommend Peak ENT if anyone asks me where to go.
My daughter had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Shipley. She was in and out of the operating room in 30 minutes. Start to finish. She had minimal pain after the procedure and it healed quickly. Even the nurse at the hospital mentioned that I picked a great doctor and that he would be the guy he picked to do his. He has a great professional manner and I would recommend him for anyone’s tonsillectomy. Great experience!
My family have been patients of Peak ENT for years. They are the greatest! My daughter recently had surgery and Kalli, Dr Beus surgical coordinator, was wonderful! She went the extra mile to get us in on the dates we needed and getting the authorization. The surgery went well and my daughter is doing great. We have always been extremely pleased with Peak ENT.
DO NOT GO THERE. My wife went there for a visit to get her ear cleaned. The doctor used a small tool to check her ear and told her she did not need cleaning after only being there for 5 minutes. The receptionist told us, we didn’t even have to give our insurance info since nothing was done. We emailed it anyways....The doctor even came out, I specifically asked him if we had to pay anything. He said no, if I wanted to get some flu medicine at Walgreens I could. 6 months later, they called saying we owed $180 because the doctor checked her throat and used a machine on her witch was a HUGE LiE!.I just can’t believe a big business like this would lie like this. If I knew I had to pay that much, I would of done it on the spot. Poor customer service. THEY ARE DOING THIS TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE, CHECK THE REVIEWS,THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!
Very kind doctors. The environment of the office is generally overall calm and kind and they are all willing to work with you.
I am totally blown away at how amazing these guys are! They have been very kind and helpful to both my husband and I, and I look forward to working with them in the future!
They were very friendly and helpful, and the nurse and techs were knowledgable, listened to my concerns and let me know what they were thinking. I had tonsillitis which had lasted a week and a half already and they gave me some antibiotics which cleared it up within 48 hours. Other medical centers had, with another case of tonsillitis I had, had only swabbed me for strep and sent me home when it came up negative. The NP at Peak ENT made sure I got better and gave me her business card in case I didnt. Im very grateful for what they did for me.
Dr. Riddle is great. Hes very knowledgeable and doesnt jump right to the surgery option. He informs you of what can be done before surgery. Him and the staff were very kind.
It is never a pleasant experience to have to have an ultrasound to be sure that your thyroid is okay. The staff at the Thyroid Institute of Utah made me as comfortable as possible and were kind and patient with me. They answered every question I had with patience.
Love this place Finally have a good dr for my ears and sinuses
Dr. Beus was amazing. After getting no results for months by trying several other things, I went to him and within weeks we had cleared up the issue I had. Dr. Beus is so knowledgeable and pleasant. Highly recommend!
Dr. Shipley has great bedside manner, he took time at all appointments to discuss my sons care and ensure his comfort. We felt confident in his ability to perform surgery. The staff was friendly, helpful and supportive
My family and I have been to many of the Doctors here, which there are many. I have a family of 6 who all have allergies and asthma. Weve also had tonsils out and ear problems. All of the people here are super helpful and caring! Getting prescription refills or appointments are easy since the staff is so kind and willing to work with us. Highly recommended!
Very helpful and friendly staff. They know about sinuses, dont go to a regular doctor if you have sinus problems!
Great Dr office! My children love the fish tank and there is always a movie playing in the waiting area. We had my daughter come to get her hearing checked. The audiologist was very kind and super professional. They took great care of my daughter.
My experience with Dr. Darley has been top notch. You can tell he really cares for his patients. Great communication, great staff.
I waited in the waiting room for three hours with a 3 year old. They were extremely slow. I paid cash for my visit as I do not have insurance. I repeatedly asked the receptionist what my total was. She told me and I paid the balance in full. A month later I received a bill for additional $113.00. I called to clarify if I owed the amount and they told me that yes I did. The receptionist made a human error. She made the error and I still have to pay an additional $113.00. To me this is not very professional. I would not recommend this office to anyone, this is the poorest service I have every received.
I have always had the best experience here. Dr. Riddle is one of the best and genuinely cares about you and your understanding of the procedure. If you want quality care, this is the place to be!
Great experience with them! Super helpful and we’re able to figure out what I was struggling with!
Dr. Shipley seemed fine, but we waited over an hour to see him past our appointment time. Honestly it made me have no confidence in him or his staff.
I am not sure why there are so many complaints about this clinic. Dr. Seth Riddle is a very busy but he still takes the time needed with his patients. Also, Ive had 2 surgeries done by him, one for the sinuses, and the other to remove my thyroid. Every other doctor that has examined me since cannot believe what a good job he did on both. Most importantly, I had to have radioactive iodine following the removal of my thyroid because of cancer. When I went in for my post radiation scan, the tech was in awe of the incredible job the surgeon did in taking out my thyroid. She said it was the best she has ever seen, and that means there wasnt hardly anything in my body for the iodine to radiate. Usually when the thyroid is taken out, there is a lot of tissue left, and the parathyroids can be ruined causing other trouble. My parathyroid is in tact 100%, and there was hardly any tissue left behind at all. I highly recommend this clinic to all my friends. Dr Riddle and his nurse Sharla, are the best Ive had in care.
I never write reviews but my experience was so bad I dont want anyone else to go through what I did. I left the office more lost on what was going on with my head and lots less in my pocket. Please find another place to go to that will actually care about you as a patient. As you can see they dont even respond to bad reviews. They dont care!!
Honestly I didnt expect to be scammed. Our first visit, we had the exams done, and the doctor, and ENT told us pretty much he didnt know and we should see his associate. We went again had the same tests done, and this time the docs best diagnosis was exploratory surgery to try and find out what was wrong.Come to find out we were billed for two of the same test done in a two weeks period for almost nothing. Thanks
Horrible service at front desk. We scheduled an appointment last week for 1:30 pm today. We arrived at our scheduled time the front desk lady said Your appointment was at 11:30 am today. You missed it. We cant get you in today we have too many patients. They didnt call us at 11:30 am when they said our appointment was and let us know that since we missed our appointment and try to prevent us from driving 25 minutes. She didnt even apologize for not seeing us or try to reschedule an appointment. We wont be returning to this type of service.
They helped out my grandmother and were very accommodating with our issues and helped us out quickly and with care.
Dr Beus is awesome. He took my tonsils out, and was very kind and professional. Later I went back because I was getting recurring sinus infections and he said that we could do surgery, but it probably wouldnt help. I appreciated his honesty. Im doing allergy shots now and the allergy clinic staff are so great to work with as well. They are friendly and scheduling is easy.
My wife and I are very frustrated with the lack of response from the MA under Dr Schramm. The doctor himself did a great job with our sons consultation, surgery, and post op, but since then he has continued to have ear infections with a lot of drainage. Each time my wife has called during business hours and left a voicemail She has not received a call back for days. On one occasion the MA answered, let her know she would talk to the doctor then call back. Still, we got no response. This past Thursday She called and left a message again because again, our sons ears started to drain. We never heard back. When my wife called today to speak to the answering service she explained she left a message Thursday, hadn’t heard back and now our child is in extreme pain. He is so miserable. The lady she spoke to said, yeah, they aren’t open on the weekend. Again, she said I left a message Thursday, are they not open on Fridays (they are)? She responded rudely, ignoring my wife’s question and asked for her name instead.Three times we’ve experienced this same thing since January and three times our son has taken the blunt of the lack of care to respond by being in so much pain when it could have been taken care of quickly and easily. As his parents we are so disappointed. We look to our healthcare providers for help when our family needs it most, we pay for your services, and we have been patient. We are done waiting for this office to respond to our child’s needs. Each time we’ve been to the office or eventually gotten to talk to an on call physician the staff has been kind and the doctors kind too but the lack of response with a simple voicemail has pushed us over the edge.We will be seeking care for our son elsewhere. Somewhere where the assistants to the physicians have the audacity to listen to their messages regularly and be caring, responsible, and professional enough to call a worried mom back so she can care for her sick child.
This is a good place for an ENT visit. Granted, I havent visited a ton of ENTs, but this staff had their act together. We were treated well and the procedure was explained clearly. Location isnt bad. Parking is crowded, but egress is a snap.
These guys are the best! Dr. Shipley did ear tubes for two of my sons and he was fantastic. Worked like a miracle and the office staff is friendly and helpful too!
My husband went into Peak on Thursday. He had a good experience overall. However, the receptionist some how charged him $397 instead of the $25 copay?!? She said it was the system, but how is that error even possible?! While she did immediately refund the $397 it took a couple days, which being college students, was detrimental to our finances. We suffered $80 in overdraft fees and that is a huge hit to us. All for a careless mistake. Our finances are not the offices fault, but her mistake cost us a lot of grief and $80. I’ve been a medical and dental receptionist and I know it takes a lot to make that kind of mistake.
The staff is all A+. You can tell they are treated right because most stick around for many years. Icannot tell you how impressed I am with Dr. Riddle and his team specifically. Extremely knowledgeable, easy going, and kind.
The Doctor was fine or it would be a one stare, but the office was running at least 45 minutes behind schedule. My visit was close to 30 minutes and the resulting charge for the consult was $250 - you know patient time is worth something t0o and if your $500/hr you can let people know upfront.
Dr. Beus did sinus surgery and fixed a life long deviated septum on my wife, she can breath much easier. He took amazing care of her and did a fantastic job on the surgery.Dr. Shipley took out my little boys tonsils and adenoid. Absolutely amazing care and follow up. My little boy sleeps better, stopped snoring and is much more energetic!Fantastic doctors who actually care about their patients. They are all amazing.
I went to Peak ENT on 4 separate occasions. Each time, I was not seen until 45-60 minutes after my appointment time. They helped with my breathing and nose bleeds somewhat, but I finally decided to see a different ENT for a second opinion.Within the first 15 minutes of my appointment at Revere Health ENT in American Fork, Dr. Levi informed me that my septum was deviated by 85%. Two weeks later I went into surgery and now I can breathe through my nose better than I ever have before. This has literally changed my life. I sleep better, exercise better, breathe better, smell better, snore less, and dont have to constantly carry Kleenex anymore. If I had continued going to Peak ENT, my life would not be as good as it is today. Please, avoid this place if your health and time matter, and if you dont like being taken advantage of.
Went in to see Dr. Beus about a broken nose and was very impressed. I didnt have any of the problems with reception that other reviews have mentioned. I got right in to see him and was treated very well and the surgery went very smoothly and I was very pleased with the results and am breathing much better. Cant speak to the rest of the doctors in this clinic but Dr Beus is top notch.
I really like Dr. Seth Riddle as well as his PA Jinil. I have had good response from medical records at the office but I have had a lot of difficulty trying to get call backs when I call the office. I called in a refill to my pharmacy a week ago and they still have not heard back from Dr. Riddles office. I left a message at the office yesterday morning and again this morning. I called and got medical records who will email me a report I need to take to a referral and asked them for what else I can do to get a call back from the nurse on a refill. They will send them a message saying I am awaiting their call. A few weeks ago, they finally called me back more than a week later. As much as I like the Dr and the PA, it has become so frustrating that I will need to consider changing to another office. I would rate the Dr and Jinil close to a 5 but the office a 1, thus my 3 star rating.
Avoid this group. I feel like Ive been scammed. I paid for one co-pay for an appointment with an Audiologist. After that was done I was told we also need to come across the hall and visit with the ENT provider for insurance purposes. What they dont tell you is that walking across the hall becomes a second visit for which you need to pay a second co-pay. So what they really meant was they wanted to bill my insurance twice. The provider spent about 5 min with us saying everything looks good, see you in 6 months. Three months later we get 2 bills and a second co-payment. I will NOT be going back.
I originally gave Peak ENT 5 starss for the service from 2017- to Sept 2018.Since late 2018 they have a new Dr take over/or buy his way into Peak ENT Associates. Hes not good. Tried to force immediate surgery on me. When I asked for a second opinion he told me to go find a new Thyroid Dr., which I did.My new ENT Doctor found no surgery was necessary. After the bill was paid, Peak ENT billed me twice more. The new Dr really messed up a great place. -- hope they fire him soon.
Billing department has no idea what they are doing. Billed the wrong insurance and then came after us. After they billed it correctly still had the collection agency still come after us for the fees. I would recommend not using this doctor.
Dr. Darley was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also sweet. He has a great bedside manner.
Dr Schramm and staff are the nicest, most knowledgeable people Ive come across in my 20 years of having to see ENTs and Audiologists. Thanks yall for your care of me!
After a 50 minute wait in the waiting room the PA couldnt decide what the diagnosis for my daughters ear infection was. Then it took hours and finally bugging the doctor at home to get a prescription called in. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I was very impressed by Dr. Shipley, he was kind and professional and I felt in good hands. I was sent for an emergency appointment and they got me in same-day and the front staff was very helpful.
DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give a ZERO on the star rating. They are shady and they don’t handle their business with respect and loyalty.
Are you kidding me? What a joke! Tried to call and make new patient appointment. The receptionist refused to tell me when the first available appointment was unless I gave her all my personal information. Name, phone #, address, birthdate etc... Why would I give you all my personal information, if I dont even know whether or not the appointment schedule will work for me? After I told her I wont give her all my personal information, she hung up on me. I called back and she sent me straight to voice-mail.
Very competent, very personable, very thorough. Very satisfied. (Except I didnt get my hearing back in my left ear).
We went in to have a button removed from my daughters nose. The initial consultation to ask this one question would you like it remover now or would you like to put her under? Was $185. Then the 30 second procedure to take tweezers and pull the button out was $553.$738 for 5 mins of grunt work. Total rip off.
Boring
Very disinterested with patients and were unwilling to answer questions. They demanded I take a hearing test even though I asked to pass (I had already taken one at a different place), then charged me $100 just for the test. Also left me alone in the doctors room for 30 minutes. I wouldnt go again.
I wish it were possible to give 0 stars....Surgery (Dr. Bues): I had a deviated septum and inflamed turbinates. They did something to my uvula in the surgery and it fell off afterward.Dr. Visits (Dr. Beus): Extremely hurried. They spend about 2-3 minutes with you, dont put that much effort into it then bill you a couple hundred bucks.Customer Service (Natalie): Garbage. I called in to get help and they did not want to work with me at all. They were billing me for a post-op check up that I had thought was covered (but it wasnt). Instead of telling me that they dont cover post-ops after 90 days after the surgery, she kept going on about how she thought 9 months after the surgery was too long for a post-op appointment to be covered. This may be true, if I didnt have scabs in my nose still from my surgery and if my uvula wasnt hacked off! She bitterly wasted an hour of my day!
We only saw Dr. Chaffin in this practice but felt very rushed through every appointment and felt that he never answered my questions in office or returned calls when Id leave voicemails. We had him do our sons ear tubes because we liked him at first but once they were done and paid for is when we felt like they stopped caring, then when the tubes needed replaced 6 months later after having four ear infections in that time and the tubes dislodging we went to a new doctor at a different practice and have been much happier.
Cool place got my nose and tonsils out here theyre great and have an awesome staff.
All these negative reviews sparked my need to share a very honest review on this place. I saw Dr. Riddle for multiple surgeries and consultations in the year of 2013. I had 4 procedures done to fix my sinus issues in one surgery, and other than some painful healing, it went really well! Then I had a full thyroidectomy following and I had many other doctors ask who it was that did my surgery because they have never seen a thyroid removal done so cleanly while leaving the parathyroid 100% intact. The doctors that commented on the impressiveness of the surgeon, deal with evaluating thyroidectomies on a daily basis. They told me that they would never recommend anyone else to do them after seeing how well it was done and how much care was taken. I have had many friends who saw other ENTs and their parathyroids were completely destroyed. So I feel very very blessed to have been directed to Dr. Riddle. He was always very kind to me in his office and listened to all of my concerns without rush. Then he would respond with very helpful advice. Before my sinus surgery, I was told I didnt need it, but I couldnt breathe at all through my nose. Dr. Riddle recognized my issue right away and worked swiftly to get me into surgery so I could heal. Its hard to find doctors that do care and do listen. To this day I would never recommend anyone seeking an ENT to see anyone but Seth. If you want it done right, you go to the best.
Nice nurses and doctors. Didnt sit in waiting room for a long time
Long wait time for appointments, but overall, weve had good experiences here.
All the negative reviews here are complete garbage from idiots just looking for an excuse to complain. Dr. Beus and the rest of the staff here are some of the most exceptional medical professionals in the industry. ANY ENT-related issues, call and make an appointment right now. You wont be disappointed.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! We took our daughter in because she was having speech issues and thought it might be her adenoids or her hearing. We go to their audiologist and she tells us the devasting news, that our daughter has mild-moderate hearing loss and will need double hearing aids. This came as a TOTAL shock, as she had an ABR (auditory brain stem response) done when she was smaller and those results were normal. I was in tears and when it came time to check adenoids and throat the doctor didnt even look in her mouth or nose and told us that it was definitely her ears and we would just need a follow up to make sure to start the process for hearing aids. When I told him about the ABR she had, he acted as though I was lying and couldnt find it in her medical records. His words were, Im not saying youre lying, but I see no record of it and I should be able to see everything. They wasted no time trying to bill my insurance that day to get the hearing aid money. We had a TERRIBLE FEELING, so we got 2nd opinions by speech therapists, other audiologists and had another ABR done by 2 doctors ( which by the way had NO problem finding all her other hearing tests, the results were NORMAL!!!!! Which we already knew, because daughter speaks and responds to anything we are saying. Her ear drums would have been BLOWN with hearing aids!We also found out through other audiologists that Peaks audiologist did not do a correct test for a child that is 4 years old. She treated my child as if she was an adult who could sit there for 20 minutes and not get distracted. She was supposed to give her blocks and other things to throw in buckets when she heard a sound to keep her attention etc.We just went and got her re-evaluated at another ENT in American Fork because her voice was still sounding nasal and was having trouble speaking certain things. They found her adenoids as enlarged as they could be, her tonsils a +2 and that her turbinates were basically touching the other side of her nose! All of which I was shown on video and had TWO doctors confirm. The ENT was Chaffin and I cannot remember the audiologist name, it was a woman. So much heartache and WASTED time by going to this clinic. My poor little girl has been suffering in real ways because of this clinics stupidity!
I went to see Dr. Beus. Pleasant enough guy, but his whole office/staff seems to be a mess. When he came into the room to see me and I explained my symptoms, he was quick to say that it was lower in the esophagus than he treats. The meeting was less than five minutes. He took me to the front and had the gal make me an appointment at the hospital on 800 N in Orem for a test and then he could refer me to the appropriate specialist. I asked to pay for the visit on the spot with my HSA account. They said they would just bill me. I finally got a bill TWO months later that was $247.50! I called billing and they said they sent it to my insurance who only covered a tiny bit of it. I would have gotten a better price for self-pay on the spot. She also said that part of the cost is because I was a new patient (they charge $50 more for new patients-good business practice). She also brought to my attention that part of the charge is because the doctor wrote me three prescriptions. That was news to me!! I havent heard from anyone in their office at all. Here Ive been suffering for two months with this condition and wondering why no one has called me back once they got the test results. Furthermore, I hate to take any medicine from a doctor who told me he DOESNT treat patients with lower esophageal problems. One reviewer wrote: All the negative reviews here are complete garbage from idiots just looking for an excuse to complain. You seem to be in the minority and I think thats entirely unfair to the many reviewers like myself who are trying to address some very serious concerns.
Will never go there again, three useless visits where the doctor had no idea what was wrong, even after all the tests he ordered, then billed almost 6 months later! Unbelievable!
Ive been so happy with the service Ive received from Dr. Darley, Dr. Shipley & Dr. Chaffin and their staff. After having ear issues for years and seeing an ENT at a different practice, I finally came to Peak ENT because of the recommendation of a couple friends. Finally the right questions were asked, answered and tests given. Turns out I had brain fluid leaking out of my ear! How was this never considered or tested in the three years I saw my previous ENT? Dr. Darley performed a successful surgery in December and Ive had no ear issues since. Finally! We started taking two of my kids to see Dr. Chaffin to find out if they needed their tonsils out. One did, the other didnt. Dr. Chaffin was excellent with my son and he had an amazing recovery from his surgery. Hes breathing and sleeping so much better now. Id recommend Peak ENT to everyone.
The same as the others, I went in with prolonged sinus inflammation. He didnt know what the problem was after a full visual inspection and even after having me do a CT scan. Luckily, this time the CT scan was covered by insurance.
Terrible experience, never going back!
Do NOT Go Here! Rudest Medical office Ive ever been to. Zero stars possible? The receptionists were so nasty to us. Made us wait One Hour before being seen for the most worthless 5 exam Ive ever seen. The nurses were so rude and had the worse attitudes towards us throughout the entire time we were there. Absolutely Awful Doctor office. Be Very Ashamed of Yourselves.
Dr. Schramm is great!
Best surgeon ever works here
This place is a joke. The doctor was horrible and literally spent 2 minutes with me, and tried to sell me some miracle pills to fix a ear problem. I waited for over 45 min just to be seen. Horrible.
Kurt Buces is the best Dr
Complete scam! I got billed $400 for a 30 minute office visit. Do not go here!!
