I just bought a great 2017 clean title, low mileage Hyundai Sonata Sport for a steal of a price from this place. This is my first car I’ve ever bought and they made the process very easy and pain free. So far I’m very very happy with my car and with Platinum! Definitely recommend this place.

My son bought a $6K car from Platinum in September 2019. A week after the purchase all the check engine lights came on and have pretty much stayed on. The latch on the trunk broke. He’s put oil in every month and 10 months later in July the ENGINE GOES OUT and has to be completely REPLACED costing another 4K! Of course he’s still paying on his loan but now has to get an additional loan for this costly repair. A year later can’t get it to pass emissions because check engine lights indicate possible problems with the catalytic converter. Regretted dealing with this business and curse them every day!! So angry they would take advantage of a young kid buying his first vehicle. Considered yourself warned.

Brady was super patient and really cared about our situation. He made everything work out very smoothly. We worked with Juan and Luisa as well and they were fantastic. We will buy our next car here as well!

Ive been waiting a while to write this review, but my wife and I purchased our truck there about 6 months ago. After months of searching on the web, calling dealerships and countless hours of research we knew exactly what we wanted. So when we saw the exact truck with all the features we were looking for, we couldnt believe it because all other similar trucks at other dealers were listed at least 5k more than what they were offering it for. What really stood out to me when we went there is that they had no problem staying after hours to let us test drive (We live about an hour away). Victor even let me drive the truck to another dealership where a friend of mine does all the CPO for that exact vehicle. Whats more is that dealership was about 45 min from where Platinum Auto Sales is and he was not pushy about when I would return by calling me. He was even willing to let us keep it the night so that we could drive it back the next morning. We declined, but it was still appreciated.Now to the Truck, the few minor issues we did find, he fixed no problem and even put any concerns I had at ease by letting me add a clause to the contract if a certain part of the vehicle failed that was promised to be fixed (Ive had this happen to me by other dealerships). 6 months later and the truck is working great! I can honestly say that Im 100% satisfied.All in all, my wife and I appreciated the way Victor handled business, in his professionalism, his upfront approach and his honesty. The next vehicle we purchase we will be coming here first and any friends and family of ours that are in the market we will definitely recommend.If you are reading this because you are weary of dealerships (like I am),I say to you- stop reading and go to Platinum Auto Sales. They guys were super helpful, friendly, and wanted to make sure I had a great experience. I will go back next time I buy a car.

We just went through our first car buying experience and ended up purchasing our car from Platinum Auto Sales. The experience was a very good one.They had a few cars we were interested in and had no problems answering any of the questions we had. They werent pushy at all, and actually encouraged us to look around at other places to find the best deal we could.We ended up coming back to them because theyre prices were the best (the asking price was actually under the lowest fair market value price on KBB). I actually was a bit surprised when our mechanic inspected the car and told us there was nothing wrong with it. The price just ended up being low, and we didnt have to sacrifice anything for it.Platinum had also put 4 brand new tires from Big O on the car. We also noticed that the car only had 2 floor mats in the trunk when we first looked at it, but when we drove it away, there were brand new mats in the car. I asked him about it and he just said Its just we do here.In the end, it was a great price with them going the extra mile on the little things (tires, mats, not being pushy). Id recommend them to anyone.

They were completely honest about the car, in anything that might be a problem in the future. They were not pushy at all, and seemed to have bent over backward to help me out. I dont feel like these people would ever take advantage of a clueless customer...as I was kind of one. They helped me to understand all I needed to know. My engine broke on my old car and I needed a new car quickly. After doing much research, test driving, and dealing with people who claim certain cars as having a clean title (but absolutely didn’t!), Platinum Auto was honest and such a pleasure to work with! At first I was all for this dealership. Till my transmission went out on my car not even two months later. I called and one of the owners seemed cool with helping me get a new transmission. Two months later, I havent heard a thing back from him and I am now paying for a car that I cant drive.

Platinum says on their sign that 90% of their sales are repeat customers. Used car dealerships do very well if 40% of their sales are repeat customers. I dont care for the misleading sign. Thats my only complaint. I will be happy to change the review if they change the sign to be less misleading.

Wow...I have never had such a good experience at a used car dealership!I came here for the first time the day after having a terrible, pushy, sketchy used car sales pitch at a dealership in Salt Lake. Talk about a night and day experience! Victor at Platinum was friendly, helpful, and honest. I came in knowing what I wanted (Platinum had the same make and model I had been trying to buy at the evil place the day before) and Victor didnt try to up-sell me or get me to look at anything else. He shared the carfax and let me know the pros and cons of the car I had selected--even though that might have cost him the sale. Just amazing!Then after it was all said and done, he put me in touch with a tire shop to get new all-terrain tires (vehicle is going to go to Alaska) and the price he got me was $200 less than I had been quoted at COSTCO. And again, that was AFTER we were all done and not as part of a sales pitch. I will go back to Platinum for ALL my needs. Cars are such a risky business, that when you find a dealer and a mechanic you can trust, you just want to tell the world! (For the record, Honest One Auto off Freedom in Provo is the mechanic shop that meets that same criteria!)

Guy sold us a car that had been crashed and was “a total loss”. We only found out when we tried to get insurance on it, since he never mentioned it to us before we bought it. We contacted him and told him we wanted to see if we could trade the car for one that hadn’t been crashed. He said sure to give him a call back on the weekend since he would have more cars available and after that he never answered any phone calls or any text messages for him weeks. We had to get the cops involved to try and fix the issue. SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE for us.

Huge hassle. We bought a 2008 Nissan from them in June and problem after problem just followed.First of all, we paid an extra $300 for them to register the car for us, but it took them over 2 months to actually do it and get the license plates to us. Waste of money.Second, the Nissan we bought in June, which was supposed to last several more years, died in July. The engine went out, so the salesperson, Carlos, said they could help us get a replacement. It seemed nice at first, but its nearly impossible to contact N&K because they never answer the phone, and if they do they dont actually give you straight answers to your questions. Its now September and weve been trying for over 2 months to get this whole ordeal sorted out.This whole process has been the biggest hassle of my life. I wish we would have avoided N&K from the start.

I purchased a truck from Platinum. They told me to call if anything went wrong. I took it to my usual tire shop and they replaced the two front ball joints and front brakes. Juan, at platinum found out and wrote a check to me for what it would have cost for him to do those repairs. Said he would have taken care of the whole thing if I had brought it back to Platinum. I also had water leaking in the back window and a faulty engine sensor. Platinum fixed them both, cleaned the water stains on my ceiling liner and washed my truck again at no charge. Great experience even with the problems. I will do business with Platinum again.
