The Trex fencing has been wonderful but if you are planning to order any gates DO NOT INCLUDE THEM as part of a larger order! I had needed a 12 foot wide gate for in front of our trailer. These gates needed to be custom made so I paid for them when I bought the rest of my fence. What i got was 2 gates that were 5 feet wide rather than 2 gates that were 6 feet wide! I took my drawing back in to show them the problem with the measurements and because I had signed the order for the fencing, caps gates, etc. I got to eat THEIR $1400 dollar screw up! I have half a mind to take the entire matter to small claims court to try and get it made right!

Worked with this company a couple years ago and they gave us weird numbers on the wood and I ended up having to go back to the store 3 times to get more of things and return others. It was really annoying. Now we are trying to get a quote to finish off the other side of our yard and it is taking forever to get responses. The first quote was way off and didnt make sense. The second was better but we needed one change. It has taken 2 weeks and I still havent heard back. Id really like to move forward with my fence but this is taking way too long.

Excellent Service!I had first called and gotten pricing and advice over the phone as I was planning out my project, I’ve done that for a couple projects and they’re always happy to help and I don’t get the feeling they’re trying to rush me off the phone so they can move onto the next thing.Having my plan, I stopped in to the Provo store and Spencer patiently helped me with my order, gave me solid advice, showed me some hardware I needed and how it works and then helped me out to the car with the things I wasn’t going to have delivered.

I had a Great experience at FDS FENCE and DECK IN PROVO. Very helpful for the DIY homeowner. I forgot my ratchet tie-down to secure my lumber...the owner sees us strugging and grabs a tie down from his truck. He says, Bring it back next time your in the neighborhood.. Classic! Over the last 8 months I have purchased over $20,000 worth of product from Fence and Deck Supply, Provo. I typically do not do negative reviews but I felt it important for future customers to be aware this company uses their return policy to make a bigger profit. I have now had 3 experiences with them regarding this. I chose not to make a big deal in the last 2 but this time I could not disregard their unreasonable policy. I needed to exchange an 8’ iron rail to get a larger 10’ rail. The exchange was requested less than 3 hours after I picked up the original piece of fence rail. They insisted that I had to pay their 25% restocking fee on the exchanged piece.They did my original deck take off and oversold me by $200 worth of hardware. I paid a $56.00 restocking fee on that. Something they carry in stock all the time.Please do not trust them to do a take off for you. You will be oversold. I just learned the same thing happened to someone else. Be prepared that they will happily sell you more than you need then charge you the 25% restocking fee.I asked politely. I was told they NEVER make any kind of change to the policy under any circumstances. BUYER BEWARE AND INFORMED.

I asked do you have aluminum rail kits (for screwing down into cement). They were like we have something better, steel powder coated railing kits, come in and take a look! and they are actually pretty good. Cheaper than online options. Only drawback is a 15% restocking fee for overages :|

I sent my wife to get some steel post caps. They said they didnt have the 2x2 in stock. Ok how long to get it in she asked? His response well Im not sure....ummm alright what are the dimensions of the cap so I can order yet continue building my railing? Well I dont know that either...how do you not know anything about your products?
