Very very long wait and they lost one of my tires. I came in with my donut spare on and the flat in the trunk. I had all 4 of my winter tires as well and just asked to have the winter tires put on and the three all seasons back. I was told two of the four winter tires were bad and the one all season was not repairable. So I had them put the two good winter tires on and two of the three good all seasons on. Except I never got the third all season tire back. I called them as soon as I realized, same day maybe an hour after I left and no one could tell me anything. I was told they would look into it and call me back. No one ever called and now I am missing a tire with no recourse. It also should not take three hours when I was told it would be about 1.5 hours. Especially not without any communication regarding the dramatic change in wait time. Very disappointed and frustrated with the service here.

I am very impressed with the customer service of Big O in Provo. In my mind I’m a more important customer than I am but it is only because they treat me that way. I’ve had one major repair done (that went very well) but usually I’m in for rotations and every few years to buy new tires. They always remember me and treat me like family. Came here to get a new set of tires mounted and balanced, with an alignment. Steve was incredibly helpful, both on the phone before we went in and once we arrived at the shop. No attention to detail. Multiple times have I gone in here and it’s been a disappointment. The amount of times I’ve had to come back or have them redo something has been way too many times… my car was done and no one told me or brought me my key until I had to ask where my car was. Find another place to get new tires or other work done, it’s not worth the time or frustration.

I am foreign for the terminology of a car in English and they bring someone who speak my language to help. I had been there several times and each time they really are the best the place I have been. Had a flat on the freeway while traveling. Stopped at this Big o and they got us in and out quickly. Comfortable air conditioned waiting room, big clean bathroom with a diaper changing table, nice water fountain, competent friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

They seem nice and friendly here, but buyer beware—of all mechanics.My story: Came to this location for alignment after having tires put on elsewhere. They did it (they tell me), in a reasonable amount of time, for a reasonable cost. Asked how it looked under there, they said looks good, all aligned, went smoothly, everythings great, all good to go, thanks for the business, etc.*Two days later* I suffer a *minor* impact to a *rear* wheel in a parking lot situation. Everything looks fine visually around that rear wheel, but I want to double-check the alignment since I just had it done and if it got knocked out again by some chance, I dont want to drive it like that.So I go in and just ask them to check my alignment and make sure its good. And two days after a person at this same location claims to have aligned it and said it looked great and went well, a different person at this location gets it up on the rack, comes back in, and tells me that major *front* end parts and work are needed before it can be aligned. Um...So I say what gives, you guys *just* aligned this two days ago, and nothing at all has impacted the front since then. Is it aligned or isnt it? I mean, your guy two days ago said all done, all great! The answer (this is literally what he said): Well, that was a different guy.Yup, I know. I was there. Point being: Polite, but theyre still mechanics. Now Im going to have to go to a different shop to make sure its properly aligned (Did they actually do it and everythings great? Or not?) and to see if new work+parts are actually needed.

Good customer service, a little bit long of a wait but I didnt have a scheduled appointment or anything. The waiting room could use a few more things like kids toys, but they did have a few books!

Extremely unhappy. I was told that my tires are six years old. This was used as a mechanism to sell me new tires. I bought my tires at Big O thirty five months ago. The salesman then told me he was just reading the date on the side of the tire, which he changed to five years old.Big O sold me tires that were old, or at least marked as old. They then used this information to attempt to sell me tires that I dont need. When I initially bought these tires, at the South Temple Big O, I was lied to by the salesman. He told me I was eligible for a rebate. I wasnt eligible. When I explained this to the manager he wasnt willing to give me a refund. I did a chargeback.Back to today. I had an appointment. I was told my oil change and tire rotation would take one hour. It took 110 minutes. If I knew how long it would take it would have changed what I did while the work was being done. The salesman asked me if I was staying at the store or leaving. I said I would shop next door. I wonder if people staying in the store get quicker service than people leaving the store. If Big O has any response to my complaint, I vehemently disagree with their response. They shouldnt offer appointments they cant service. They know how long things take. Walk ins can wait.I wont shop at Big O again.

Big O Tires was seriously the best. They got us a great deal on a new set of tires and they were super efficient. The employees have above and beyond customer service and were just so kind and helpful. I cant say enough positive things about this experience.

I had some pretty detailed questions about trailer tires that anther tire shop in town had a tough time coming up with answers to. I gave Big-O a call where I spoke with Colton who was able to answer every single question I had. I had a lot of questions and he was very patient with me. I was very impressed. I dropped a set of trailer wheels off that same day around 4 and they were ready for pickup before 5. Great service. Competitive prices. Very knowledgeable. Will be making future tire purchases from this shop.

One of the few car places I trust. They are always quick and helpful, but not pushy.Been to many places through the years but now I just go here because I feel confident in what I’m getting and what I’m paying.

I had a coupon for 15% off service. After viewing my bill I noticed they only applied 15% off the parts used to fix my car, instead of applying 15% off the entire bill (parts, labor, shop supplies). Dishonesty will not make a return customer.To be fair the work they did was pretty good. The brakes they replaced feel responsive and smooth. The struts feel great (tho the creaking I originally went in for still persists). And the alignment is perfect (even though there seems to be two separate charges to complete a full front end alignment... misleading)

So I got my oil changed, and they tried charging me an obscene amount to change my drive belt (it would have been $130 for this when it cost $30 to buy it and nothing to change it on your own. Also my drive belt had no wear showing, no holes, scratches, pebbles or rocks in it, and nothing wrong with it!). They also tried charging for a fuel system cleaning when I didnt need it ($40 is what they were going to charge. It costs 10 bucks to do it on your own) as well as $90 for a brake flush, something that my car just did not need. Overall, happy I could get my oil changed conveniently, but not happy they tried scamming me out of hundreds of dollars.Pro tip: just get a friend of yours to teach you how and change it on your own. If you need a mechanic to fix it, take it somewhere local. Theyll charge less for just as good of service.

I asked them about replacing my passenger headlamp and what the estimated cost would be; Trevor said hed find out and then just did it and charged me without telling me that they were going to work on it.EDIT:So I had to have my tires looked over by another place a few days after going here which was a hastle, since I had already done that fairly recently.There are plenty of other places to go to that will be upfront and honest with you but this isnt one of them in my experience.

I would like to thank Steve and the crew at Big O Tires for helping our family out yesterday. My daughter discovered one of her tires was flat when she arrived at work yesterday morning. Living in another state and not familiar with repair shops in Provo, I reached out to Big O for help. Steve offered to have an employee go to my daughters work and fill up her tire so it could be driven to the shop. They found the tire was damaged and provided a reasonably priced replacement. All fixed within the hour. Thank you for going above and beyond in providing excellent customer service!

I took the car in to get winter package deal oil change and tire rotation. I was they didnt have an open Bay when I came in so it would be just a little bit over an hour. They had me out in less than an hour great service great job on the car definitely worth a shot

At 5:57 (they close at 6) I found a screw in my tire. I called them and they stayed open for me while Colton and Sam replaced my tire in 10 minutes!! Also, my warranty covered it and it was free! Turned something rotten into a great night! Thank you again!!

Came out to greet us before we even made it to the front door, took our car right back, and we only waited maybe ten minutes before they came back with the quote. 20 minutes later it was done and we were good to go! All four tires changed, and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I don’t like posting comments but I do it when I need to. I agree that they’re a trusted brand and they can provide quality service. But I promise you that they will up-sell you for the obvious reasons that their reps want to get more commissions and because sometimes they don’t know what they’re saying. Be very careful on the services you request before they start servicing because if you don’t, they will service your vehicle more than you wanted or needed to and then because they had kept servicing your vehicle you will be stuck with having to pay for services they have done when you didn’t request them at all. So, be very specific and careful on the services you request and make sure they don’t do any more services than they need to or you will be stuck having to pay for services they performed. It happened to me. I was only planning on one service and I was stuck paying for 3 additional services. In total I paid $250 more than what I had planned to. I wanted to save as much money as I could by planning on taking my car to a different place but because supposedly a piece was “broken”, they couldn’t put that broken piece back together and this particular piece was connected to 3 other pieces, so I was stuck having to pay $250 more than what I wanted to. Remember it’s a business, they wanna make as much money as possible. Just because they’re a brand doesn’t mean they’re the only good place to go and also they’re expensive. I regret going to this place. Please be careful with “branded” places like this and all places in general.

I am so impressed with the staff here! They are honest and hard working. I brought my car in- that I was going to need to buy two new tires for my back due to a tire that always lost air. I chose the tires I wanted and they went to work- only to call me and let me know that my tires are in great condition and I dont need to buy new ones. I explained why i was there (leaking air) and the mechanics found a nail in my tire AND patched it free of charge. If I would have gone anywhere else I am sure they would have kept their mouth shut, charged me for what I thought I needed (but didnt actually) and kept my good tires to then re-sale to someone used. I am beyond happy with their honesty & service and will now be using them for all future tire and oil change purchases. Thanks!

This place has the best customer service ever. I did not know how good I had it until I went to a Big-O location in Pocatello, ID and was treated terribly.I moved up to Idaho but will continue to have my tires serviced at this location whenever I pass through.I always drive up and someone comes out to meet me before I even park the car. They take the car back for the routine rotation and have it back to me before I can barely get some free popcorn and sit down. I never have to interact with anyone at the front desk or wait in any lines. Totally awesome! I will continue to use these guys for all my tire needs.That said, they will often find other things wrong and let me know that they want to service my vehicle. When I compare their quote to my long-time trusted mechanics, my mechanic will often do the same work for about 60% less than Big-O quotes. So, I wouldnt recommend letting them do anything but tires if you know someone good. But, tires are what they started as and what I wish they still only did. Lucky enough to manage a medical equipment store almost next door to Big O. We take all our work vans here and all our employees bring their personal cars here. They take awesomeCare of us. Communication is clear, their work is accurate and they are all friendly and professional. Store is clean and nice as well. So if you want to wait and have a popcorn and water it’s awesome.

Its great to have someone in the valley that I can trust. After having so many issues at other service and repair shops in the Provo/Orem area, they were able to help me with respect and passion for what they do. Theyre always wanting to accomplish a job well done. No additional payments, no scams. They dont take advantage of you based on your knowledge either. My wife who doesnt know too much about vehicles feels comfortable taking her car here as well which is important when choosing where to take your vehicles.

I am a car guy and I know about car repairs. Took my Camry there july 4 week for an alignment. They called me to say that camber (one of three things adjusted for alignment) was so bad they needed to install special cam bolts to do adjustments outside of normal range, for $60 per side. I said I had those bolts so I picked up car and put them in myself, without making any special adjustment to the camber at that time and saved $120+.They then completed the alignment for the normal price. But when I looked at the print out it showed camber measurement when they first put it on the rack and I noticed that camber was within acceptable range but at the far end of what was acceptable. Fine I thought, they are just perfectionists and want to put closer to optimal setting.But the printout also revealed that when they completed the alignment, the camber was still at the very edge of the acceptable range-suggesting that they did not make any special adjustment to the camber (with the new cam bolts) WHICH THEY SAID WAS NEEDED! (They did however properly adjust the alignment for toe-in adjustment, so I am satisfied with the acceptable alignment settings.Additionally, when I got the car home I removed front wheels and confirmed that they made no adjustment to the cam bolts whatsoever and had not even removed the front wheels (necessary for this adjustment).I believe that the phone call to me was just an attempt to up sale me with something I did not need, so they would get an extra fee $120. And most shops that I have used also try and do this to a greater or lesser extent.So because this shop is not the worst I have dealt with, I will give them the benefit of some doubt and give them 2 stars instead of 1.

On a recent road trip, had been noticing a vibration in the tires. Stopped in Provo at Big O Tires on State Street. They were super friendly and rebalanced our tires in less than 15 minutes. We were back on the road in no time.

I am very upset about my experience. I came asking for the winter car check and knew I had a Jetta so it would cost more than the $50. I called in advance to ask how much it would be and gave them my car information and they confirmed the price. When I came to pick up my car, I was told it was going to be even more than I was originally priced because the amount of oil used. This jumped from the increased $75 to now $90. I shrugged it off because I understand materials cost money. When I got in my car, my tires were out of air and that was never filled like it stated they should have been in the check. While having to fill my own tires the next day, I realized all of my hub caps were crooked and I was unable to even fill my tires because of this. Even one hubcap was missing. This is crazy because I paid $90 to not even get the simple requirements taken care of and have my car come back in worse condition. Everyone I talked to in store was very nice, I am just disappointed in the quality that is coming out of this store. I do appreciate their willingness to fix my issue immediately and replace my hub cap. I will sadly not be returning.

I have never really went to Big O Tires.Im used to using another tire place. which is a pretty big name, but I got a flat tire on my Honda Accord be that I purchased it used and it came with pretty much brand new Big O Tires on it.So I just stopped by Big O Tires to get AIR put into my tire and they said since it was a Big O Tire that they would fix the flat for free.I also asked him about rotating my tires, because my front tires barely had any tread and my back ones were great. So they also did that for FREE.This was the one in Provo right by the DI on State St. They showed me a lot of courtesy they were very professional, they were extremely fast and good people.I DEFINITELY will go there again and I will start going there for any of my tire issues.From this point on are my new tire guys. :)

I was met at the door (which was opened for me) and taken right to a desk to be helped. They immediately started working on my car and didnt try to come up with extra expenses or things I should pay for. They had a small-medium sized waiting area with a TV, water, and popcorn. I had my work van serviced here a couple times. They have been the best shop Ive taken it to so far. Only thing is the guys come out to you before you even get out of your car, I dont really like that part, reminds me of car dealerships. But I recommend these guys. Usually in and out pretty quick.

Shane and Chris were so helpful. Went outside and found my tire completely flat and they had Chris come out and take the tire back to patch it up. It took maybe 30 minutes total and it was amazing that they would come out to me! So I didn’t have have to pay for a tow since I had no spare. Thank you! This is the best Big O in the county. I don’t live in Provo and I make sure I drive the extra miles to come to this one. I would not be going to big o anymore if it wasn’t for this store. Every worker seems happy and they easy to work with.

These guys are super nice, they helped me out and were super polite and understanding. I was super nervous to buy tires for the first time but they made me feel comfortable that I was getting what I needed.

I honestly had a horrible experience there. I took my car in before (a Hyundai) and had a great oil change no problems so I decided to go back again for this last change. After the service I started driving home and part way there my car started slowing down and had problems. Fortunately I made it home and had my husband, who has been working on cars for years, check it. It turns out that they completely drained the transmission and over filled the oil. They didn’t check it because they would have seen that the oil level was 2-3x the amount it should be. We ended up filling the transmission fluid ourselves to make sure no further damage would be done to the car. Fortunately they towed the car back and fixed the levels in the car for the fluids (though the oil was still a little high) and compensated us for the change and transmission fluid we bought. That is honestly why I am giving it 2 stars. After that incident my check engine light went on and there was a loud engine knock. We took it in to a mechanic and they found sludge build up in the engine. That is due to using oil derived from natural gas which is a cheap solution instead of full synthetic oil. Overall it was a high stress to deal with and we are still in the process of cleaning out the engine.

Prices kind of high but the service was amazing. I got two new tires on my Mercedes Benz and they are amazing

Went to this Provo location because I found a nail in my tire. I was approached as I stepped out of my car and was asked how they could help. I said I found a nail in my tire and even though I didn’t get my tires there they patched me up free of charge! Friendly service and super quick, I was only there for 15 minutes. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾
